Thoth
Tenkai's most notorious NEET, Thoth has a reputation for being a nerd. He's held in high regard due to his knowledge and judgements, but he's also known for almost never leaving his vast library (which is open to the public on Thursdays through Tuesdays, 8 AM to 10 PM, holidays excluded) except in extremely dire situations. Thoth's familia consists of very few people. He only has one adventurer, who he refuses to almost never meet face to face because she's 'dirty from all of that dungeoneering' and two dozen libraries to maintain his vast library.
Odin
One of the first gods that descended, Odin and his familia are often considered to be one of the most powerful familias within Orario. Despite his power, he had been known to avoid the petty squabbles of the other gods. Throughout the hundreds of years in which the gods had descended, Odin had only stopped his eternal search for knowledge once. It had been such an event that even the aloof gods—who refused to give any specific details about it—spoke of Odin's involvement as history defining.
Odin is also known for having his fingers in so many pies that it's amazing he has time for it. In some capacity, he's involved with everything. He funds Thoth's libraries, has his familia forge weapons, explores the dungeon, sells information, runs various clinics within Orario, runs a school in which adventurers can learn basic literacy, runs an ultra-exclusive restaurant known as 'Little Valhalla', and even more. Despite his notoriety as godlike proprietor, he's a known miser. He's a heavy believer in equal trade, which makes dealing with him in any capacity both simple and incredibly frustrating. His familia is a few hundred strong, but the only adventurers within it have all been pouched from other familias. The vast majority of his familia are smiths, healers, and school teachers.
Hecate
Though harmless for the most part, Hecate has a tendency to really get into her role of being the GODDESS OF MAGIC, CROSSROADS, GHOSTS, AND NECROMANCY. However, her act is all to hide a nervous and insecure core that continually has her doubt her choice to descend from the Heavens and whether she's capable of truly supporting the few people that depend on her. She does understand that there are times where to connect with her familia she has to stop pretending to be the confident goddess that she wants to be and does make efforts to try and stop depending so much on that persona, but until then and to everyone else in the world, she is HECATE, SUPREME WITCH AND ALWAYS IN CONSTANT PAIN FROM SUPPRESSING HER TRUE POWER LEST IT DESTROY THE WORLD.
Many people at this point know that Hecate's confident persona is mostly an act. Still, that does not mean she has stopped being a literal god nor that she doesn't have or can grant actual power to her familia. Among her peers however, Hecate is seen as amusing and harmless.
The only people that are really part of the Hecate Familia are those who adopt similar personas or delusions as their goddess, leaving them rather small in number as most other people are typically unable or unwilling to handle their myriad colorful personalities.
Nemesis
Known as a cutie patootie who’s good at giving massages, Nemesis is here to chill and relax and take a breather from her time as the avenger of the wronged. Permanently in vacation mode, she flops around in a clothing-optional mindset, meandering through the days in a fluctuating state of boredom and amusement. A bit of an alcoholic and a bit of a glutton, all she wants to do is to have wild, wild fun without regard to the future. After all, the joys of inebriation and the sorrows of hangover perfectly encompasses the balance of fortunes she once managed.
Underneath, however, Nemesis remains unchanged, and a heart of justice, burning bright than the lightning of the heavens and the fire of the stars roars within her.
Most Gods treat her as a child, far and away from her dignified role back in Heaven as the sword of justice. But they’re also fine with it, because her massages are great on their aching, suffering backs and shoulders. It’s been a long time since they’ve seen her Visage of Vengeance, after all. Enough time that most forgot.
Nemesis is friendly with many Gods, and is rather popular with adventurers as well for being the life of whatever party she invades. Though not as devastatingly beautiful as actual Goddesses of Love or Beauty or Fertility, she makes up for it by being accessible and energetic. She has especially ingratiated herself to the older, more powerful Gods, and it’s through grabbing freebies from them that allows Nemesis to enjoy her wild life. After all, her own Familia only has one person, a total weirdo who’re just as deceptively carefree and explosively restrained as herself.
Tyche
As the Goddess of fate, chance, and fortune Tyche has a reputation to uphold. She presents herself as happy-go-lucky and lazy, perfectly content with her new life. When the opportunity arose she was one of the first to dive into the human world. Traditionally she preaches that fate is in control and that one should simply give in to it. However, when it comes to her Familia she adds that one's own fate is their sole possession. That believing in complete control is a folly sure to lead to despair. In this manner, she carries a great amount of wisdom into the psychology of life and one's experience towards it. However, she is easily worried by the troubles of her Familia and often times focuses solely on alleviating those pains.
Her reputation amongst the Gods and Goddess is fickle. Some see her as the rascal, others the trouble maker, and a special few acknowledges the depth of her mind and philosophies. For her truths could be transcribed for not only the mortals but the Gods as well. Some Gods come to her in hopes for clarity in their troubles, while most just enjoy her jaunty personality and subtle antics. Her Familia has a high-rate of departure, causing some to mock her as undesired.
The power of the Tyche Familia is growing slowly. Before they had been consistently weak but recently Tyche has been on a lucky streak, finding more and more promising beings to join her. After finding Oben, a fire seemed to have been lit in the Goddess. At the moment she has a Familia consisting of promising rookies.
Bellona
Calm, decisive, calculating. Most would mistake Bellona for a goddess of wisdom with her prim and elegant demeanor. In public she carriers herself with grace and class, with the appearance of a smart, capable, goddess. To her Familia, she acts as a cool big sister type, caring for all those under her wing with a stern hand and a surprisingly crass vocabulary. She loves strategy and often plays chess with whoever she can to pass the time. She finds Castor's cocky attitude amusing and interestingly enough, enjoys teasing him.
Known well amongst the gods and goddesses as one to look to for advice. Known equally well for her shrewd business reputation and her dealings in maps/cartography. She is seen as a bit intimidating to some of the other gods/goddesses for her cold outward appearance. Her prowess in chess is well known and she hardly ever can find opponents to play with her.
The Bellona Familia has long been a family on the rise. A relatively powerful family with reputable and talented longstanding members, it was considered inevitable that the family would eventually grow in power. However, there peculiarly have not been any new members for some time until recently, with Castor Caraway being taken in. The family boasts a strong small core of experienced, veteran adventurers but nobody else besides Castor.
Sandraudiga
Most of her time is spent reveling in ALCOHOL, which furthers her lacking intellect but helps replace it with a brutish strength. Much like her patrons, Sandraudiga is occupied with simple minded things like destroying, smashing, attempted killing and not understanding the world around her. Her personality is, for that purpose, quite lacking. If she were any more stupid, she'd probably be unable to speak, but here we are. With a goddess that can speak somewhat cohesively if she is not inebriated.
Her reputation is one of two things - you either know her, and know to stay away from her, or you don't know about her at all. Indeed, most gods are probably unaware that Sandraudiga is a goddess. Those that do know probably find no use out of her, and her tendency to smash random things is more a liability than a boon for any that might think to invite her to their dwellings.
If you could gather the most unintelligent, headstrong, stubborn, and strong people in one place, then you would have Sandraudiga's familia. While there are plenty of people who are dumb enough to join the familia, there are unfortunately not many that are strong enough for it, and so the familia remains rather small, despite the growing attraction of it.
I mean, who wouldn't want to destroy shit in the name of a goddess?
Notable People
The sole adventurer of the Thoth familia, Dahlia is a level 4 adventurer who's focused on cataloging every single monster, mapping every single floor, and chronicling the exploits of various adventurers. While she's not a legendarily strong adventurer, her name is still well known among most adventurers. To those who had read books about the monsters one encounters in the dungeon, the vast majority of them had massive walls of text describing each creature, their weaknesses, and their attack patterns; each wall had been meticulously written by Dahlia. Others know Dahlia for her bi-weekly book series "Dungeon Storia," in which she chronicles non-fiction adventures of various people. She's really just a massive nerd who's okay at fighting.
A hired level 1 porter, Penn is no stranger to the dungeon. While she's not a great fighter, her ability to carry vast amounts of loot is almost divine. Her reputation is almost non-existent, only appearing as a nearly unnoticable background character for numerous parties. She's also hilariously bad with any form of actual weapon. Because she possesses decent magic and other tools, she acts as a capable party support while inside of the dungeon. She also doesn't even crack 4' tall, so tall monsters tend to not even notice her.
