That's also a good spell list right there. And my Devil's Sight pairs nicely with the Darkness spell since I can see in both nonmagical and magical darkness. Good synergy is good.

I've also got the Darkness spell, and will have Shadow Step in one more level - so synergy all around! Even though I only have regular Darkvision (plus the spell to grant it to others), unfortunately...

It does seem that the link in that sheet does lead to Aurix, though to be fair, two Aruixes is better than fun. I can already see all the fingers being eaten!

This might be the first wizard we'll actually play properly, but we may have tinkered with a few dozen characters over the past few years...

That's one thing about 5e, I feel like the health numbers feel way too low and all the classes feel too close. I rolled for my health but it's only 1 less than if I just took 6 for all of them

I personally, don't mind that the health points seems a bit close. It just makes me believe that the classes are more "this is what I am good at" sort of deal and it shows the highlights of what characters can do rather than how a class is arbitrarily 'stronger' by having more health. That's just my personal take on it.

This could be as big as an adventure they did together (e.g. scouting the tomb of a Naga Queen), working for a specific group (e.g when the Regiment of Khan paid them to scout the nearby forest) a specific trap or puzzle they solved - or didn't (e.g that time we all had to run from a giant boulder and Jhimas held up the gate for us to get by), a moral choice they had to make ( do we purify the poisoned well water that prevents disease to stop people becoming partial plant-creatures, thus killing the terminal good-hearted orphans?) some cool magical thing they experienced together (traversing the magic storm and gravity stopped working so we got to swim through the sky) or even just bonding during a campfire moment or attending Carl the Adventurer's retirement do.

No need to overthink it, it's just for fun, grounding the party in the world a bit more and having some things you can reference if you want to.



So for example, Lauder will recall a moment between Aurix and Jhimas, Duskshine will recall a moment between Jhimas and Lauk, and then whoever ends up last on the CS tab will recall a moment with their character and Aurix.

This is just for fun and you don't have to do a full collab or anything like that, just a couple lines even would do. Feel free to discuss ideas if you wish, but this should just be a small exercise to build some rapport.

Also feel free to develop relationships or flesh out how/when you joined the party if you want to. I'm not holding you at gunpoint, and if we go into IC without anything hashed out yet I can come up with a reason you guys are all together without knowing each other that well.

Hmmm. I think a fun idea of one of the group's adventures could be stopping a drow raid and eliminating the one who started the attack, like a general or something, in a fight that spanned a portion of the Underdark before the leader and the raiding party was ultimately forced to retreat to a different part of the Underdark and our characters go back to the surface as some minor heroes! It would be a good way to say how my character came along to the party, being a slave from the underdark that escaped.

I like the idea, no clue why Jhimas would be there but he's a lawful good paladin looking to protect those who can't protect themselves, so it's not too hard to get him to be a do gooder. Just throw me a plot hook and I'll take it

Good question! I would probably say up to two years max, since the youngest character is 17. But it's really up to you all.

Ya I think a couple years sounds good. Jhimas is 60 but Tritons are kinda like water elves and live to be about 200 so it's comparable to a human being 30ish
