When someone mentions Max the first thing people think of is his infectious laugh, you can usually hear it echoed through the courtyard during lunch. A jouvious person at heart Max is almost always seen with a smile on his face, except when there is competition involved. That’s when the game face comes on, nothing is more important to Max than winning. Be it out on the field or a hot-dog eating contest.
At school Max is popular all over because he loves to socialize, be it with the jocks where some might believe he belongs or with the mathletes where he mostly asks for help with schoolwork. Max enjoys being surrounded with people, which is probably why he frequents all of the parties that his peers at King’s Academy throws. When it comes to relationships he has dated around the student body almost as much as Santiago Fernandez, but never really stuck with anyone. You can see him holding hands with Rachel Evans one day but see him eating lunch and kissing Caroline Spencer the next. So you couldn’t tell if he had a girlfriend even if you wanted to know. He is always on the lookout for his next conquest.
When not in school or at lacrosse practice Max spends most of his free time at Asgard Fitness working out. He couldn’t believe the luck he had to live in the same town as his favourite fighters ever, Shady Jameson and Jackson Drake. And on top of that being able to go to their gym! To say that he was in heaven was an understatement. His sister Astrid says him spending time there is the reason he is getting dumber by the week.
Upbringing Synopsis
The Wallenbergs is a old international banking family that migrated to Florida from Sweden in the 1920 when the family wanted to expand their international banks over the pond. So Max’s family has always had money, so living the lush life is something that Max and his siblings are accustomed to.
Max is the only son of banking director Magnus Wallenberg and his wife Alice Wallenberg a reporter for the local news channel. He was born on the 10th of October (10/10 baby!). His mother always calls him her autumn child, attesting that as to why he was such an easygoing child. Being the middle child between his sister Elin who is 3 years his senior and Astrid who is 2 years younger suited Max very well. It meant he could get away with a lot of things because his parents were often busy with the other two. The Wallenberg siblings are all very close. Since their parents has always been very busy with work as they grew up, they spent a lot of time home alone together.
Even though both Magnus and Alice are very focused on their careers they have always made time for their family. Every holliday at the Wallenberg house is one big event. Their house is always the brightest during christmas and always the scariest during halloween.
The apple of his father's eye, Max has been taught from a young age that “A Wallenberg never quits, and they always win” by his dad. Which is why Magnus always pushed Max to be the best in everything he did, except for academics. That he could see was a lost cause from the very beginning.
Lucky for Max his sister Elin has shouldered the role as heir to the family company and has taken a real interest in business and economics, going to of to Harvard business. So Max feels he could relax when it comes to that part of his parents expectations. That’s why pressure is put on Max from his father to excel in athletics instead. But now that Max has taken over as Lacrosse Captain from Warren Diedrikson, Magnus couldn’t be prouder and hasn’t missed a game yet.
His younger sister Astrid has just started her sophmore year at King’s and Max has promised their mother to keep a watchful eye on her. A taks that he has taken on willingly and forcefully. God forbid she would end up with someone like the devil or worse… like him.
