Aava huffed at Evren's comment about her hair, letting him help her over the rail.
"(Pretty, but gets stuck. Ouch,)" the Näkki responded. The two continued along, walking in the woods until until Aava heard the faint sound of a brook. The sound of water always made her feel calm and safe.
"(Stream is friendly,)" Aava hummed as they got closer. The babble of the brook was so relaxing that Aava almost forgot all of her other anxieties from before. She could listen to the moving of the stream for days on end and not get bored.
"(Why does no one speak the correct language?)" Aava then asked, the question popping to her head after a brief silence. It was weird, no one was speaking the language she was most familiar with, save for Evren.

Nessa turned around as she heard Beck's voice shouting from behind her. Sighing and letting her guard down a little, Nessa just shook her head. It was weird that someone seemed to be actually worried about her.
"He didn't hurt me, just talked nonsense and made weird accusations," Vanessa replied. "He wanted... to make a deal with me or something. I'm smarter than that, though," Nessa shoffed as she walked closer to Beck.

Hayato Nijimura

&

James "Duckie" Markham

Hayato was waiting in the Iron Butterfly's lounge, Sitting in one of the booths having a screwdriver which was orange and vodka mixed together. Seeing a figure coming towards him being another Yazuka who leaned close towards him, "Rushifā wa 30-bu de anata ni aimasu, watashi wa kare ga anata ni aitai to wa omowanaiga. Kare ga konaito dō narimasu ka?" (Lucifer will meet you in half a hour, Although i don't think he wants to meet you. What if he doesn't come?) The Yazuka member spoke softly into Hayato's ear.

"Kare wa kurudeshou, watashi ga kare ni iwanakereba naranai koto wa kare ga sukippu suru ni wa amarini mo jūyōdesu. Watashi wa kare o shitte imasu, soshite kare wa hitobito o sukuu kikai o nogasanaideshou. Sore ga kare ni masaru ritendesu, kare wa bōisukautodesu" (He will come, What i have to tell him is too important for him to skip out on. I know him and he will not miss the opportunity to save people. That is what gives me a advantage over him, He's a boy scout) Hayato spoke taking a sip of his drink.

------------------------

Duckie looked at the man in a strange way, Already he was not sure about this guy. The only weapon he had on him was a small pocket knife, And he didn't think that would be enough to defend himself. "Why do i gotta answer your question fella, I don't even know ya. I only answer those kinda questions to people i know. "So who in the sam hill are you?" He asked the stranger wanting to know why he is asking these kind of questions.

Although Lucifer had remarkable control over his abilities, for public appearances he often chose to forego them except in emergencies. It could be disconcerting to the average mortal to see a man disappear completely into a shadowy corner of the room.
He exited his apartment and walked out onto the sidewalk in new clothes; grey trousers, a tight violet sweater, nice Italian shoes. It was forgivingly cloudy today, otherwise he’d need a parasol or some other protection from midmorning sun. Being out in the day still wasn’t pleasant for the shadowmancer.
The crime scene in the alley was long cleaned up, and he passed it on his way down the road. It seemed like the blood had been power-washed away after evidence was collected, but he could still smell something ferric in the air. At least now there wasn’t such a mess. He suspected that had something to do with this business call, though he wasn’t sure quite how; he silently wished he’d taken a closer look at the crime scene before the police came, not knowing something made his skin crawl. Or maybe that was just the daylight.
Lucifer crossed the threshold into the Iron Butterfly and glanced about the place, taking in his surroundings but acting mildly unimpressed. Redhaven was his town, certainly, but he let others think they controlled little parts of it from time to time. In his eyes, this was no exception, and he was exceptionally happy to play along while he waited to reclaim what was his. Across the room he saw a door marked LOUNGE, and thought that a good place to find his caller.
He pushed the door open, and sure enough he saw two Yakuza whispering at a booth. He smiled mischievously, wishing he'd been a moment earlier so he could have listened in on their secret exchange. Lucifer pressed on, casually sitting across from Hayato and leaning his cheek to his palm, staring at the intense man with a wry grin. "Sudeni nonde?"(Drinking already?) he asked, a bit too coy. He brushed errant strands of blond hair out of his face and he sat up a bit straighter. "My Japanese is very bad, I'm only kidding you. Your associate asked for my presence, mister..."
“(We’re a long way from your lake, Aava.)” Evren attempted to explain. When they passed the stream the sound of water grew only more apparent, though it was much more subtle than the babbling brook behind them. The forest thinned some as they walked, with many more young thin trees than old wide-trunked ones, and the ground became rocky and uneven with scattered patches of grass and soft moss. “(My home is just ahead; I think I have something there that will clarify things.)”
They trudged up one last low hill before the landscape truly revealed itself; among the young trees was a one-room cabin with no windows, made of sturdy old logs. Approaching the structure one could see that the hill sloped down to the small sandy bay of a lake, with wild vegetation growing around the water. Through the trees one could see that this inlet was part of a large pond that wrapped around a distant Appalachian ridge like a crescent moon, surrounded by forest at all sides.
Evren retreated into his home, which smelled profoundly of vinegar and lemon, and began searching through a large disorganized scrapbook of things. He held it open on a faded Mercator projection with several old pen markings across Europe and Canada, and gestured for Aava to look. “(Here, this is a map of the world. Your lake is in Finland, right here,)” he pointed to southern Finland, which had been circled at a previous date, “(But we aren’t in Finland now. We’re in the Americas, in Massachusetts. Right here.)” he traced a line across the Atlantic ocean that landed squarely in New England. He offered an understanding look, knowing this must be troubling to hear for the first time.
Haddie rolled his eyes. “Hadrian Abner. That’s my name, and yes, I’m a necromancer.” He pushed his mallen streaked hair out of his face and shrugged his bag off one arm. Keeping an icy gaze on Duckie, he withdrew a soft charcoal pen from a pocket on his bag. “If you don’t have a master, you could be invaluable for someone like me. How about we make a little deal? I’m sure there’s something you want from the living world.”
With the charcoal pen he drew strange symbols on his arms; 🜔 ♂ on his right beneath the tattoos on his wrist and the astrological symbol for Gemini on his left. He seemed fascinated, if a little intimidated by the being before him, but was above all wanting control over whatever power he had.
“I ran into him around dawn at the edge of town. He was after another vampire, I had to fire a warning shot and call the cops. I don’t know what he’s up to but I don’t like it.” Beck remarked, relaxing her stance to lean against a brick wall. It seemed like the long day was already catching up to her; just past midnight she was chasing new bloods, and things had only gotten more intense since dawn. She was pale and worn, just a bit sweaty from all the hustle and bustle, yet still entirely fiery. “I’m getting out of town for a few days. Sick of this place; too much blood, you know what I mean? I’m visiting my folks in Boston.”

Hayato Nijimura

&

James "Duckie" Markham

"Thank you for coming today Mr.Lucifer, You may call me Mr.Nijimura" The older man smiled taking a sip of his drink. "You are wondering why i invited you to meet me, I have good reason for meeting with you. I wanted to speak with you about the recent murders" Hayato took a moment form talking to finish his drink and start smoking a cigarette, "Do you know a woman named Aava? She has killed a Yazuka member and a dear friend of mine" He handed Lucifer a picture of Josuke's mutilated body. "My boss and myself personally want her dead for the dead of a Yazuka, You may not like us or others of our elk but all we ask is for your assists in finding her and bring her to justice" His versions of justice of course would be bringing her to the "The Green Room" where she would be tortured for many many months.

"She has became quite a present danger in this city, And that man she is with is complacent in the murders" Hayato once again stopped and took a moment for Lucifer to process the information.

----------------------------

"And you can call me Mr.D and since you ain't the guy that brought me back maybe ya know him? The guy has short blonde hair with a bit of tattoo's and scars all over his body. Got a big noticeable one on his forearms that say SOLVE and COAGULA" The skeleton was not getting a bit freaked out by the other man's behavior. He was starting to think everyone in this town was cuckoo banana pants or a child murderer.

"If you can give me information i can help out you" He said but his voice was unsure of if he wanted to help him. His hands slowly moving into his pocket seeing what he had inside of them. To his luck he felt a small pocket knife that could be handy in a tough situation like this.

Aava stared at the map presented before her, trying to understand what Evren was saying.
"(Is that far?)" Aava asked with a frown. "It is just a small distance away..." she continued in english. Aava - never having seen a map before - didn't quite grasp the concept of distance on map.
Looking around the cabin, Aava began wandering around and looking at things, examining them. She wandered around, looking for something sharp like a knife or scissors.
"(Evren, what do you do in your 'home'?)" Aava asked after a while, still wandering around. There was so much more to do underwater.

Nessa nodded at Beck, her mind buzzing with questions. Leaving town really did sound pretty tempting. She'd have to be in hiding for a while, so it seemed that Beck and her were both leaving the town for different reasons.
"You're from Boston?" Nessa asked before she could stop herself, awkwardly leaning against the wall as well. She really didn't know why she even cared.
Nessa cast her eyes downwards and rubbed her palms. They felt cold and numb. A faint throbbing pain radiated from her slowly healing leg.
"I think I should leave town too, for the time being. That lunatic seems to know where I live, and it doesn't make me feel exactly safe," Nessa explained with an unreadable expression. The ravenette couldn't really place the feeling, but being around the other woman felt strange. It was probably the most connection she'd had to another person in years, all in one day. Just seeing someone more than once in a day was strange already, but... Sigh. Nessa closed her eyes, trying to dispel the beginnings of a headache there. She tried not to think about her weird feelings too much.

Lucifer kept a calm countenance as if hearing the Näkki’s name didn’t phase him. He took a long look at the picture of the dead boy, seeming a touch sympathetic as he slid the sheet back across the table. “I have no problem with your organization, Mister Nijimura. The recent murders are very concerning to me; they’ve been… unusual. Mortals come and go, but it seems that the dead are more like us. I assume this dead Yakuza was of your nature.” He nodded as if he knew everything, assuming immediately that Hayato was one of the werewolf gangsters that had come into his town.
Lucifer winced at the mention of that man, the simple mention enough to crack his façade for just a moment. Recentering himself, he unconsciously traced his fingertips over the nearly-invisible healed scar left on his cheek. “I have nothing to hide from you or your men; I know who you’re speaking of, but I’m not inclined to surrender my claim simply because you ask. I’m sure if I had come here demanding you submit your most trusted men to my blade, we would have a disagreement.” He took a leather cigar case from his pocket and withdrew a plain-looking cigarillo. He lit it and took a puff, offering a reticent yet soft-eyed look. “Go on. Tell me about the boy. It was in the alley, hm?”
“It’s a bit far.” Evren responded, acknowledging that they had quite different concepts of things like scale and the ordinary. “Across the ocean, much further than Germany or Rome.”
The cabin was quite small, about twelve feet by twelve feet long on each side with a repurposed metal porch door facing out to the lake. The smell of lemon and vinegar seemed to permeate out from the perimeter of the room, where a few waterproof plastic bins were stacked next to a ladder leading up to a shallow loft. A toolbox was sat atop one bin, ajar. Beside the door was a pile of books in various states of deterioration strewn out from an overturned box.
“I live very quietly, these days. I read, mostly. I enjoy my peace and go to town when it suits me.” Evren replied, closing the scrapbook. “Are you… looking for something?”
“Yep, born and raised. Just never picked up much of an accent.” Beck replied, turning to properly face a very uncomfortable-looking Nessa. The ravenette was almost hypnotic, even in this weakened state. A thought formed in the back of her mind, a tiny wish to keep Hayato away from her. That guy was up to something weird, something very dangerous; she sensed something criminal and corrupt in his actions, perhaps he was even working with that creepy Progenitor. God, this town got worse the more she thought about it. “You can tag along with me, if you want.”
As soon as she blurted it out she had to laugh, if only to relieve her own embarrassment. “I do mean it, though. Just surprised myself.” She said, recovering. “Small state, not a lot of places to get lost unless you like camping. And no offense, but I don’t think you’ll get too far walking.”
“Solve et coagula?” Haddie repeated, not sure he heard that right, but if he did, he knew what that meant. He wiped the symbols off of his arms like it was no big deal. “I don’t know the guy, but I know the magic. That’s alchemy, but to use it directly for necromancy…”
He seemed lost in thought for a moment, before swinging his bag to the ground and kneeling to dig through its contents. “They’d have to be very strong. Very strong.”

When Evren asked if Aava was looking for something, the näkki had already found the open toolbox and a rusty swiss army knife that lay inside it, the knife end left open from its previous use. Too focused on the task to answer Evren, Aava tested the blade before gathering the mass of algae like hair that dragged behind her and beginning to cut through it in rather rugged motions.
The hair was surprisingly thick and hard to cut, be it from the blade being dull or the hair bearing a mythical essence to it. Bear in mind, Aava didn't know how to cut hair, so the end result was very choppy and uneven - she had cut strands from different lengths and angles. The longest hair pieces still reached Aava well over her lower back, whereas few of the shortest cuts reached her shoulder blades. And the näkki wasn't even halfway through, the rest of her hair cascading down to the floor like she was a bony, green haired Rapunzel. Most of the dirt and twigs were on the part that touched the floor, but even cutting Aava's hair meant she'd still have to wash it, probably. Not that the näkki cared.

Nessa's eyebrows shot up ever so slightly at Beck's suggestion. She didn't remove her gaze from her numb palms, but thought it over nonetheless. The woman's offer felt inviting, almost tempting. Beck explained herself a little, earning a small nod from Nessa in return. The ravenette cast a curious sideways glance at Beck, amber eyes meeting brown.
"My leg's all healed up," Nessa lied swiftly, her pride getting the better of her. Almost like a wounded animal, hiding its injury in hopes of not seeming weak - an easy prey. "I suppose I wouldn't mind tagging along, though," she continued then, her words concealing the fact that somehow she really did want to go with the other woman. "I really need a change of scenery." It was a relief that Beck had offered, to be honest. Without that, Nessa knew she would've been too stubborn to suggest it.
Beck made being open look so easy. Maybe it is, Nessa pondered. Just... not for her. Not yet.

"And i know you don't care much for people like me, Which is understandable and the rest i brought you here was to talk about the growing danger" His right hand tapping gently on the table collecting his thoughts, "Josuke was a good kid, Just ignorant to the supernatural world. I felt it was my fault for not introducing him and learn the ropes of this place" Hayato stopped tapping his fingers on table before speaking again.

"I am not sure you know the whole situation of his death, But he was i presume the first in a long time a victim of this woman. I estimate that he will not be her last victim, The Yazuka as you know is looking for her but perhaps we can work together to stop her for killing a innocent" He said stopping his tapping on the table.

--------------------------

"Well maybe you know someone that could have information on this guy?" James asked him not really sure he should trust this guy, This guy seemed quite strange to him. However he had seen quite stranger things as a undead, The skeleton was watching the man wondering why he wrote and erase the markings on his arms.

“Just a kid. Isn’t that cruel?” Lucifer remarked sympathetically, taking a long drag on his cigarillo. “When you’re so weathered and worn from this hellish world, there’s nothing like having someone who looks up to you. To take an inferior under your wing, so to speak; leadership is a quite possessive and empowering drug. But they take a part of you, too, don’t they? A part you never get back when you fail them.”
He turned and coughed softly, and returned his gaze with a placid look. “Understand something, Mister Nijimura. This is a place of the mortal and the supernatural, striking the natural balance these forces have maintained even before the veil broke. Everything that happens here is thousands of years in the making, though I suppose that might not mean much when it comes to mob justice.” He waved his hand as if to dismiss his own words, making swirls in the smoke lingering in the air. As he spoke, little cracks in his even composure seemed to surface; barely perceptible cracking and straining as he spoke, slightly jittery movements, indicating something unstable bubbling beneath the surface. “Blood for blood, as it’s always been. Revenge is as natural as birth and death, but nothing comes freely; I need you to swear something to me for this information.”
Evren blinked. "(Just like that, eh?)" he asked, setting the book from town on top of the pile beside him as if it had a perfect place in the mess. He stepped over the green clumps of hair on the floor and reached into the open toolbox to grab a little pair of springy pruning shears that may have looked like a strange dull blade to Aava next to a recognizable knife. "(Do you want any help? These might be a little easier to use.)"
Beck was cavalier in her dealings, not for a lack of concern but for a surplus of presumption. She had every confidence in her own skills; if it came down to it, she could fight Nessa and win. At least she believed she could. This sort of arrogance gave Beck a strange generosity, willing to help anyone who might need it and being unafraid of the repercussions.
She nodded in understanding and pushed herself off the wall. "It'll only be a few days, I have to get some work together. I still have business here but, yeah, I definitely need a change of scenery too." Beck agreed. "The VW is out this way; I guess I'll pull around to the front so you can go grab whatever you need to get going. How does that sound?"
Haddie said nothing, barely hearing Duckie at all as his attention was focused on his bag. Finally he withdrew a leather-bound book secured with twine, and flipped to a looseleaf lined paper with a traced image on it. "Did it look like this?" he asked, holding the paper out to the unsettled skeleton, gaze steely.

Hayato was nodding his head taking in everything Lucifer said to him, If he could he would have gone with Josuke and been their to protect him. And further more he would have told the kid about the supernatural, He thought he failed Josuke easing him into ins and outs of the supernatural. However he thought he did a damn good job as a mentor in the world of the Yazuka, "I was unsure if you would help me deal with this issue before it becomes out of hand, I still am unsure if you will help me considering this seems like a Yazuka matter" He spoke motioning for the waiter to come give him a glass of water.

"However i would cooperate with you from this becoming more the a Yazuka problem, So what do i have to swear to get this information" His eyes looking dead into Lucifer's. All the old Yazuka was the head of the people that killed Josuke.

-------------------------

The skeleton was looking at the picture shown to him closely, "Yeah that looks like the tattoo the guy had, So can you lead me to perhaps where someone might know the guy? Or do you got some sorta spell so i can find the guy to talk to him" Duckie was getting a little annoyed by the necromancy not answering his questions and just doing quite strange things. Duckie was just thinking of ditching this guy if he didn't have the answers and looking elsewhere.

Aava looked up at Evren as he offered help, giving a sheepish smile in return. She nodded, untangling the dull knife from her hair and giving her friend the permission to do the rest of the cutting.
"(I'm tired,)" Aava mumbled as she waited for Evren to cut the rest of her hair, probably better than she would even know how to.
"(I don't want to sleep, though. I don't like the dark,)" the näkki whispered.

"Yeah, actually... I already have everything I need here," Nessa responded, gesturing at her bag. "I was making a big escape even before you showed up, so I'm all ready to go," the ravenette explained, her eyes analyzing Beck's movements.
"I'll wait here for you to get the car around, though," the vampire continued then. She wanted to avoid stepping too much on her healing leg, plus she really didn't want Beck to find out too much about her specific skillset. More than she already had, that is.

Lucifer laughed dryly. “My dear. If this were purely a Yakuza matter, you wouldn’t have called for me.” He said, beaming with self-importance. “You will not go hunting for this girl until midnight, and you will not harm anyone you find with her. If you cannot swear this, we have no deal at all.”
Evren carefully sheared away the green lengths of hair, letting locks fall to the floor between them. “(I am, too.)” he agreed flatly. Even for a vampire, Evren slept very rarely; in his centuries as a soldier it was rare that he slept more than a few times a year. Over time it had certainly made him weaker, along with the countless other damaging things he’d done to himself. “(There’s a lot of daylight left, waterlily. It’s barely midday. You haven’t even seen the lake yet.)”
Eventually Aava’s hair was a choppy bob, not at all styled but at least an even length that framed her face. Unbothered by the hair on the floor, Evren took a few leading steps back toward the door. “(Would you like to see?)”
The hillside was scattered with deadnettles, potato beans, snakemouth orchids and toadflax, giving way to less conspicuous pond grasses and arrow-leafed marsh plants as the even plain became a swampy shore. It was hard to tell exactly where the land ended and the water began in the marshiness, starting with thick grasses and thinning out to overgrown mucky shallows that gave way to the greyish depths before them. Willows gave cover to the lively shallows, which stretched out across the lake likely toward wherever the stream let out, somewhere just out of sight as the shore curled away behind the black ash and sour gum trees.
“Solvation and Congelation…” he mused, turning over the paper and scribbling on the blank side, drawing up several odd symbols, including the astrological symbols for Cancer and Taurus. He tapped the charcoal pen to the paper in though before he added two more symbols next to the zodiac; what looked like a triangle upon a plus and a female symbol with horns. “If you have enough power to dissolve a soul and mind, the body remains. Dead. What would congelation do after that?” Beside him on the grass he saw a little dead spider, dried up and curled into a ball. Haddie’s eyes lit up with sudden inspiration. “Maybe…”
He scooped the dead thing into his right hand and held it in his closed fist. With his charcoal pen he drew the symbol for Taurus and the two strange symbols, along with one more; a circle with a line through the center. He wrapped his left hand around his closed left fist, and with a gasp let go to open his palm. The spider scrambled across his fingers and dropped to the ground on a silken thread from Haddie’s thumbnail, and he watched it with hungry, awestruck eyes.
“Great minds think alike?” Beck offered with a shrug. “Or something. Whatever. I’m just parked over here, so if you’re ready, we can go.” She gestured out of the alley and started toward her vehicle, taking a look back to make sure Nessa was following. She didn’t get too far ahead without her, not entirely convinced that Nessa had healed so completely.

"I will agree to those terms if you are still willing to help me?" Hayato was now watching him intensely with his eyes, He was going head on with the Yazuka working with the city's boy scout. He was sure the other Yazuka members would laugh at him, But he didn't care if a Yazuka member was killed it was the Yazuka's way to deal with it personally.

"So where do we start then?" He then asked Lucifer as a news report on the tv talking about some police disappearances and also the local governor pardoning Yazuka members. And his group helping him deal with his trouble with the police but that was not going to be reported for sometime so he didn't worry.

--------------------

Duckie watched the guy writing the strange symbols on a piece of paper using the charcoal pen, At first wondering what he was getting at with what he was doing with that spider. Watching the dead spider beside Haddie slowly coming back to live, Duckie was both amused and worried. "You know this doesn't really answer my question, However this does give me a idea. Perhaps their is some sorta spell or something that you can use so i can find the guy that brought me back?" He asked the strange hoping their was something he could do to help him.

Lucifer moved his elbow to the edge of the table and leaned his cheek into his palm, and gave Hayato a tauntingly sweet, half-lidded look. ”You have the most breathtaking eyes.” He lilted, clearly taunting him. “Of course I’m willing to help you, mister Nijimura; I’m thrilled to bits by the affairs of mortals, as long as you play by my rules. Do you swear to my terms?”
He felt cool and composed, but knew he’d revealed too much to this wolfish criminal; whether Hayato could put it all together or not, he was unsure, and that was his least favorite way to feel. He was nearly certain that Aava had only emerged in the last day or two, at the very most. She was cannibalistic, horrific and destructive, but a force on her own? Lucifer wasn’t sure quite what a näkki was, but she clearly needed water, and Chepi Pond was miles away. He was certain that’s where Evren had taken her; back to his pitiful little hovel on the shore of that scummy little lake.
God. Evren. In just one morning it felt like this nymph had taken his entire world away. The wolf’s offhand mention troubled him so deeply, knowing the threat this creature posed to his dearest possession. It was all that näkki’s fault, but if he could simply reign in this wolf enough to solve his problem and move on… perhaps that would work. Perhaps it was his only choice now.
Haddie scrutinized James, trying to understand each word. “A spell… if there’s a magical bond left between you and the caster.” He replied, dusting the grass off of his jeans as he stood up. He tucked his pen behind his ear and dug two small stones and a piece of twine, and hastily tied the two rocks together. One was a sickly-looking yellow crystal, the other was a glinting black octahedron. With a swift rip he tore a blank strip of paper off of the sheet he’d been scribbling on and wrapped it around the little stone bundle, finally adding the same triangle symbol from before onto the paper and an arrow pointing to the horned female symbol. He held the crumpled mess out to Duckie. “Hold this in your left hand. If you focus on your reanimation, it will pull you towards the spellcaster wherever he is. If you’re as whole as you act it should implant he knowledge of his location, but something is better than nothing.”

Hayato was staring at the vampire with a blank look on his face, "I agree to your terms and we can start looking for them right away" The gangster said motioning for the waitress to come to their table as he paid her. Standing up and walking out of the restaurant waiting along for Lucifer to join him. "I've had my men looking around the city for where she could have gone, We can meet with one of my men near a bookstore where she and that man were last seen" He spoke waking out of the restaurant.

"If you have some sort of clue of where they would be, I need to know so i can tell the others where to search" His hands moving into his pockets producing a cigarette lighting it and walking towards his car. His car being a 2014 Nissan Nismo that was black in color with matching black tinted windows. Hayato was feeling both anxiety and adrenaline, Because if they had known about the Yazuka trying to find them and they could have escape. And the adrenaline part being when he does find them he was going to torture them slowly and make them regret fucking with the Yazuka.

Duckie looked suspiciously at the items in Haddie's hand. "And this will lead me to the guy i'm trying to find?" He asked taking the crumpled things in his hand. "I guess i should thank ya for doing all of this for me, Don't know if i owe ya anything after all of this?" He asked not really wanting to be in debt to this strange man. But never the less he was thankful that he was going to meet the person that brought him back. And was going to give him a good kick in the ass.

Aava marvelled at the odd lightness she felt, searching for a reflective surface to check out her new hair. Gasping in delight, Aava beamed:
"(Evren! It's nice! I have a person haircut now!)" What she'd meant was that she looked like the people on the streets now - much less like a weird creature and more like an actual human with just oddly coloured hair. The näkki beamed, walking over to follow Evren outside.
Her steps were light and bouncy as they walked, clearly elated by her new look and the promise of a lake.
"(Are we there yet?)" Aava would ask here and there, eyes curiously darting around for any signs of the lake. Soon the ground became much softer as it turned into marshland. Aava's good mood only got better the deeper they got.
"(What a silly little lake,)" Aava mused as they got to what could arguably be called the shoreline. Looking at Evren, she smiled with curiosity and maybe a little bit of that confusion she never seemed to lose nowadays.
"(Is this my new lake, new home?)" she asked.

Fuck, she's making me walk isn't she, Nessa thought, mildly irritated. Well, she couldn't blame Beck really. There was literally no reason not to, doing it in any other way would be wildly inefficient.
"Yeah, 'course," Nessa nodded, taking off after Beck. She was trying to make her sluggish pace seem normal, but even Vanessa could tell Beck wasn't as stupid as to believe that.
When they got to Beck's van, Nessa was pretty quick to go sit as soon as she could. It felt quiet between them, a bit too quiet. Nessa opened her mouth to say something, but thought the better of it. She wasn't really great with words.
I mean... she was, but only when she wasn't telling the truth, something which wasn't what Nessa was trying to achieve here with Beck.
