Niji is a light olive skinned girl with long, dark brown hair. Her facial features are slim, complimenting her oval head shape. Niji has short, dark eyebrows and thick lashes that frame her gray eyes. She is dressed in increasingly complex robes and jewellery that somehow make her look too young to be wearing them. Niji is 165cm tall (5'4") and her voice has a very clear sound to it.
Legendary:
Legendary Moves: Ancient Power, Whirlwind, Weather Ball, Sunny Day Legendary Powers: - Regenerator: Niji has the passive power of making people and pokemon around her feel more lively, almost like just seeing her is enough to bring life back to tattered souls. - Niji has peculiar dreams in which she is flying through the air, looking over the world. In her nightmares she is burning, being reborn from her own ashes. Sometimes she sees visions of reviving other pokemon from their ashes. Fire and the sky, they always seem to be present in her visions and dreams. - Whenever it rains somewhere Niji is, a rainbow will follow. Sometimes when she is happy, a rainbow can be seen forming on a clear, cloudless sky. - If Niji is upset or angered, the close vicinity around might burst up in Sacred Flames. She cannot control this enough to use in battle, but the flames seem to be attached to her emotional state. The flames will burn almost anything into fine, almost sparkling ash.
Biography: Niji was born to a couple living in Johto region's Azalea Town. The day she was born, a mysterious rainbow appeared in the sky even though it hadn't been raining previously. This is what her name came from: A rainbow blessing. Niji had quite an ordinary childhood for the first years of her life, but then her unusual powers were discovered. Niji's parents were very young when they had her, so they weren't at all experienced on how to be good parents. So when it came out that Niji was unusual, a reicarnation of the legendary rainbow pokemon, Ho-Oh, Niji's parent's were clueless. They took her to Ecruteak City, where the Sages of the Bell Tower claimed her as Ho-Oh's reincarnation and wanted her to stay there.
Most of Niji's memories are of her spending her youth inside the four walls of the Bell Tower, where it is said the legendary Ho-Oh resided before the disappearance of all the legendaries. The Sages made Niji take the place of Ho-Oh as the being they protected and worshiped, believing Niji to possess the same power to grant eternal happiness to whoever saw her. This is why she spent her life mostly locked up inside the Bell Tower - protected, as the Sages put it - only to meet the selected few and grant them "her blessing". Growing up being viewed as some sort of deity definitely shaped Niji's worldview and self-image. Aside from not really experiencing life outside of the Sages and the Bell Tower, Niji really just lived her life doing whatever she was told to do. So when the invite to the Reincarnation tournament arrived, the Sages emphasized that it was her duty to attend and show the pokemon world the true might of Ho-Oh. Since the sense of duty runs very deep in Niji's bones, she felt like she had to do what she was told, and so she began her quest to become the mightiest Reincarnation, no matter how she really felt.
Original region: Johto
Other: Niji isn't really that into pokemon or battling, but she is acting out of sense of duty for her legacy and the Sages who worship her. Because she was always told what to do, she never really developed a personality or a will of her own. She really doesn't know what she wants, only what is wanted and expected of her. However, leaving Ecruteak City and the Sages behind for this new journey has opened the opportunity for Niji to realise that there is more to her than what she has been taught her whole life; perhaps her true interests and motives don't even align with the people who she was brought up by. In short, this journey isn't just about being the best for Niji, it is about finding yourself for the first time in the truest meaning of the word.
Pokémon team:
Pokémon species: Volcarona (Female) Pokémon nickname: N/A Pokémon moves: Gust, Fire Spin Pokémon ability: Flame Body Pokémon held item: N/A Pokémon other: Volcarona was gifted to Niji by the Sages of Bell Tower when she turned 18. She was fully evolved when Niji recieved her, but she doesn't seem to be a very experienced pokemon yet. It doesn't help that Niji and the Volcarona don't really have a natural connection or a bond a trainer and their pokemon usually have.
Pokémon species: Natu (Female) Pokémon nickname: (Optional) Pokémon moves: Peck, Night Shade, Lucky Chant, Teleport Pokémon ability: Early Bird Pokémon held item: N/A Pokémon other: Natu was the first actual pokemon Niji caught herself. While this was done under a constructed environment and she had little to no say in the matter, the fact that she caught the pokemon herself helped Niji feel more connected to the Natu.
Legendary: Shaymin Legendary moves: Magical Leaf, Synthesis, Sweet Scent, Natural Gift Legendary powers: -Sean is capable of absorbing pollutants (anything short of clean air counts, such as kicked up dust) and purifying it into water and light. While the pollutants are absorbed, his hair turns black. It can be kept that way for quite a long time, though if he deliberately holds it in, he'll eventually get a headache. He'll absorb pollutants automatically unless he's trying not to. -Absorbing enough pollutants enables the use of Seed Flare, a shockwave caused by releasing the water and light all at once. Sean can use it without absorbing pollutants, though he isn't experienced enough to do so yet. (See moves) Sean can disperse the purified pollutants harmlessly, though he'll be inclined to release it as a Seed Flare akin to how most don't like holding in sneezes. -Sean is capable of transforming any land into a blossoming meadow instantly. He does this automatically whenever he uses Seed Flare and hasn't learned how not to. -He is capable of stimulating plant growth. He does this passively, though he can increase the effect greatly by focusing on a plant. His specialty is flowers, so if it's not a flower, it'll actually take a while to grow something. (as opposed to instantly) Still, he can make most plants full-grown in a matter of minutes. (Long-lived trees could take hours or even days, depending, though berry trees grow quickly) -Natural Cure (Somewhat strong immune system) -"Flower-like aura"
Biography: Sean was born in Solaceon town and lived on a farm near its southern edge with his parents. He spent his childhood there, helping out around the farm, tending to the Animals or watering their Tropius. An active boy, he also had plenty of time to wander the woods, explore the Solaceon Ruins whenever he worked up the courage and visit the day care frequently where he could play with the pokemon. Even from a young age, Sean loved pokemon, and pokemon seemed to love him too, if only because of the abilities he did not yet have a full grasp of. It was quite subtle at first; the air around him was always clean and wilting flowers would bounce back when he passed by, but eventually some trainer breathed cigarette smoke on him and he discovered how to use Seed Flare.
For a little while, Route 209 became more colorful than Floraroma.
The trainer probably didn't understand what happened, and when he came to, he didn't stick around to ask questions, in spite of his injuries. From then on, Sean tried to better understand and control his abilities, guilty that he had assaulted a passerby and horrified that he could do so without meaning to. He didn't hide it from his parents, though they encouraged him to do whatever he could to keep it hidden so that he could lead a normal life. He agreed to abide by their wishes, more or less, and managed to keep a lid on his identity as a reincarnator, give or take a few people like the Daycare couple. As he finished his schooling, he eventually wanted to leave home in pursuit of his career, not as a pokemon trainer, but as a pilot. He started out as a freelancer, which took him all over the place, but eventually came to settle down in Mistralton City of the Unova Region. He became responsible for the runway plants, as well as commercial flights to Lentimas Town or the Nature Preserve. When he received the invitation to the Reincarnation Tournament, he ignored it. He wasn't really a pokemon trainer after all. He couldn't even remember the last time he had a battle. A tournament like that wouldn't suit him in any way, shape or form. Still, when the gym leader of Mistralton caught wind of it, they insisted he enter for the sake of "broadening his horizons". He tried to argue back that he's a pilot; he literally has some of the broadest horizon out there, but they insisted, practically bullying him into it and giving him "all the time off he needs". Well, here he is, ready to compete, I guess.
Original region: Born in Sinnoh, moved to Unova.
Other: -Sean has mild arachnophobia and it totally has nothing to do with the wild Joltik that snuck into his bed that one time. -Sean has never seen or heard of Gracidea flowers, yet. -Sean's favorite color is, predictably, green.
Pokémon team:

Milo has fair skin and straight black hair, and possesses a relatively lean build. He stands at around 5'7" or 170 cm, and has hazel-colored eyes. He usually wears a teal shirt, a gray hoodie, and navy blue pants. Milo wears black hiking shoes and carries a small, gray satchel that holds his important items.
Armor Up: Milo has the ability to summon a suit of armor similar to Genesect's own. This armor however, is still not especially durable and is especially weak to fire-type attacks. It also does not cover his whole body at the moment, instead taking on the form of several armor plates and a mask. If the armor is too heavily damaged, Milo will be unable to summon it as well, and must wait for a period of around 3-5 hours to use it again.
High-Speed Flight Configuration: Using jet boosters found on his back and legs, Milo is able to take flight. However, he is still relatively inexperienced at using it and thus has trouble accurately flying. The configuration also does not last very long, and can handle only about a minute of flight.
Assault Cannons: When donning the armor, Milo gains two miniature assault cannons on both of his wrists. He uses these to fire his other projectile-based attacks and can fire both at once to fire a techno blast with around 1/4 the strength of the original techno blast. He is still inexperienced in using these weapons however, and the attacks that are fired from the cannons also have noticeably less power.
Tech Whiz: Milo has an affinity for technology, specifically in the field of engineering. He's skilled in repairing and modifying existing mechanical and electronic devices, such as his own PokeNav. He's also had some success with inventing new gadgets, such as his prototype for a new type of Pokeball.
Ancient Bond: Milo possesses a strange connection to prehistoric Pokémon, being able to understand them better than most other people. He is also drawn to locations that were abundant with life during the prehistoric area, such as prehistoric hunting grounds.
Biography: Born in Rustboro City in the Hoenn region, Milo Gese seemingly appeared to be an ordinary child in all aspects. His father was a trainer and field scientist that specialized in rock, steel, and ground-type Pokemon, while his mother was a researcher at the Devon Corporation. Milo was fascinated by Pokemon ever since he first saw them, with his favorite being steel-type Pokemon, just like his father. He was also a talented mechanic, repairing and modifying any devices that were lying around during his spare time. At around the age of 7, Milo joined his father on one of his expeditions to Meteor Falls. While they were journeying through the caves, they encountered a Beldum that dropped down from the cave ceiling. With help from his father, Milo managed to catch the Beldum, which he then named Rex. As the years went by, Milo's bond with Beldum grew as he continued to go to trainer school and join his father on his expeditions to train and obtain more experience. At the age of 12, he received a gift from his mother, a Kabuto revived from a Dome Fossil that she was studying.
After receiving the Kabuto, which he named Kal, Milo's parents then discovered his true nature as the reincarnation of the Mythical Pokemon Genesect, which would explain his skill with technology and his interest in steel-types. This was great news for Milo, having read about Genesect before, he was thrilled to be a representation of one of his favorite Legendary Pokemon. He and his parents however, kept his true nature under tight wraps, fearing that the public might see him as a monster. It was only a matter of time before he received the letter inviting him to the great tournament, to which he enthusiastically accepted. With support, albeit protective and reluctant support, from his parents, Milo left for Bigang Region with his Pokemon, curious to see what awaited him.
Original region: Hoenn
Other: Milo is calm, collected, and timid. He generally acts like any normal person would, but is actually quite introverted, usually avoiding large groups and keeping to himself. He has more confidence when around other shy people however, showing his true, more lively side to his friends and those he trusts. He's also quite awkward around situations he has little to no experience in.
Pokémon species: Metang (Genderless) Pokémon nickname: Rex Pokémon moves: - Metal Claw - Confusion - Take Down - Iron Defense Pokémon ability: Clear Body Pokémon held item: N/A Pokémon nature: Serious Pokémon other: Rex is Milo's first Pokémon, thus it would be obvious that they have a special bond. Like its trainer, Rex has a calm and collected personality, but is rather serious compared to Milo's more easygoing nature. Despite being genderless, Rex leans towards a male personality, with Milo often referring to him as a he.
Pokémon species: Kabuto (Male) Pokémon nickname: Kal Pokémon moves: - Aqua Jet - Absorb - Scratch - Leer Pokémon ability: Swift Swim Pokémon held item: N/A Pokémon nature: Jolly Pokémon other: Lively and Energetic, Kal is unusually active for something that's 300 million years old. He usually scurries around, exploring his surroundings with grest enthusiasm, much to the dismay of his trainer, who usually gets winded chasing after him. When he's not zipping all over the place, he's usually perched on Milo's shoulder taking a rest. Kal has a high affinity for bodies of water, and also makes quick friends with most water-type Pokémon he meets.
