Juno mentally laughed. I am a Neko. He spoke in telepathy. Name's Juno and Price and I are just really good friends to each other.

Simon nodded and told Price " I somehow know how to ride a motorcycle don't remember buying it but it came instinctively so I guess I've been riding one for a while

The beam of the one still-in-tacts headlight of Zacks car illuminated the faces of two interesting looking characters as he drove through a dirt road in the forest. One in particular caused him to jump just a tad but he chalked it up to already being on edge about his situation as he drove past.

The road here was rougher and more narrow than he thougt it would be, surely taking its toll on his beater Honda, and he wondered why he decided to come to this city via this route. Then unexpectedly, his car began slowing down despite him pressing slightly more and more on the gas and the noise of the engine seemed to be dying.

"Ah SHIT!" He yelled as his car completely stopped moving. It seemed the engine had failed, but the light still shone. He got out to look at the engine, despite knowing next to nothing about car mechanics between his own and the memories of two others. Then he remembered the faces he saw. Assuming the worst of them, he turned his car off completely, got his gun, stuffed it in his light jacket, then got his book and began hiking through the woods.

Vinashy watches the Honda sputter out, and the mans exclamation of anger. He walks over to him, his cloak trailing along behind him. "Is there a issue with your vehicle?" He disguises his scythe as a finely carved walking stick, changing his shape in an instant to be a man in a rumpled gray suit, with a lopsided fedora on his head.


His eyes flick to the gun, and he puts both hands on his "cane". "Now now, no need for that."

Zack looked over the fedora man who had approached him and remarked about his gun which he had already hidden away in his jacket. Was this one of the guys he saw before?

"Don't worry about it. Self defense. I have a license." Zack explained.

Zack himself had never killed anyone, but had the memories of one person who had. It was unlike any game or movie. Even the best writers who's work he had ever read couldn't describe it in complete accuracy. He had the utmost confidence in his abilities to kill an attacker if he needed to, but hoped he wouldn't need to.

"What are you doing out here at night?" He asked.

"I love the night. It's full of mysteries and monsters." He sighs happily. "I'm just taking my normal moonlight stroll. Would you keep me company? It's never a good idea to be alone, especially these days." He twirls his cane.

Zack paused a moment.

"Uh...sure. Do you have a car? Or is the city close by?" He looked at the thick trees around them, and didn't see the lights of a city, but his eyes could be deceiving him.

On a better night, Zack would have agreed about the night; he was a night owl himself, usually at the cost of sleep.

He takes off his hat, and looks around the shrouded trees. "I didn't drive here. I believe that the nearest city is several miles away, I'm not totally sure on how to count miles on foot. I live nearby, as I enjoy the peace and quiet of the woods."

Zacks expression went blank. With his car destroyed, being indoors at least would be nice and all, but this seemed exactly like any horror movie setup.

"So who is the other guy out here with you?" Zack asked, fully remembering he saw two faces.

"If your talking about the broody fellow, he's a good friend of mine, although I do believe he's gone back home by now. He likes our walks, but he has to work early."

Price had nothing to say to that except, "Okay,"

Virgil figured the other guy must be him. He stood up and walked over. "Hi, Name's Virgil."

Simon nodded then turned to juno "so how did you become a shapeshifting cat"

Juno had to hide another amused smile. I didn't. I was born one.

Zack looked at Virgil and paused a moment.

"Right..." Virgil didn't seem shady, and neither did the other guy really, but neither one of them was addressing his car situation. Him and Virgil seemed to have just met, however, which made it a little less likely they were accomplice muggers or murderers.

"Alright, it would be nice to get out of the woods with the wild animals and crap. Which direction?"
