The Elemental King and Scarlet Overkill

It all started with the prophecy. The King ruled for the longest time. Nobody knows how long the King has ruled for. To be honest, before the prophecy it was rather peaceful. The Elemental King would only slaughter those who committed crimes. He made an example of whoever he killed so others would fall in line. After a while, there was no crime. People got used to their new life, their new ruler. Sure, they lived in fear, but a lot of people knew that if they behaved and followed the rules, no harm would come to them. Then, it happened. The prophecy came, a tale of eight children who would step up and dethrone the Elemental King. After the prophecy came, the Elemental King slaughtered every child he could find in every country and place he owned. Soldiers and Golems ripped babies out of mother's arms, killing them in cold blood. The Elemental King's true colours were shown.

"Scarlet, report, now!"

"Your Majesty, no sign of the chosen ones have been seen yet. What shall you have me do, sir?"

"Hmmmmm.......Good, good but go search again. Look everywhere. Send airships to the skies, submarines and battleships to the sea, search every volcano and every damn city or place with volcanoes. Check every mine, every mountain and any villages nearby. Tear down every church, check every power plant, go to every graveyard! Leave no area unmarked. I want you to send as many soldiers and golems as possible. Igna, I want you to search too."

With that, the Elemental King rose from his throne as Scarlet and Igna left the room. He gave a small snicker, before clicking his fingers and with that, he disappeared. Still no sign of the chosen ones. Was the prophecy a lie? Maybe, but he couldn't take any chances. He wouldn't take any chances. No matter what.

Distial

Distial walked over to one of the graves slowly, she pressed her hand on it, and gently pushed the cover from it, revealing a skeleton. She stared at it for a moment, before nodding to herself. She placed a few flowers within the coffin and then returned the lid to its rightful position. The old, ancient, Temple of Shadows. No light entered the temple. It was always so dark and gloomy. Perfect for her. Of course, she has never gone to the outside world, and never planned to. Hidden deep within an abandoned graveyard. No ordinary person would ever come across it. Although, she wasn't an ordinary person now. She was born within the Shadow Temple, and now, forever bound to it.

Seth

Seth sat upon her house, watching the village from high above. She had lived in this village for years now. She was the leader of a resistance against the tyrant king. She smiled to herself, still in her armour of course. Her sword sheathed and away. She never took off her battle armour, never. She was a born warrior, she was just itching for a fight. She jumped down from the building and stretched herself out with a yawn. It was time she set out once more to do another search for the elementals. Although, just as she was about to start walking, Seth jumped back quickly as over two hundred golems flew past her at the very least. She watched as they all split and went in different directions. Shortly after, soldier after soldier marched forward in a hurried pace. Some followed Scarlet, while some would go with Igna. Others would go off in groups on their own. It seemed the Elemental King was doing another search too. Seth looked up to the sky and as expected Air Ships, Gun Ships and Jets flew through the sky. The army was most impressive. She had to hurry, with this kind of search the Elemental King was bound to find one of the chosen ones eventually. Quickly, Seth hurried her pace, she had to find one of the Chosen Ones, she just had to.

Isabella and Seth

Isabella ran quickly, her scythe out, covered in blood. She was panting heavily, she looked back and as she did, five golems chased her. A few of them fired fireballs, lightning bolts, and whatever else they possessed. She continued to run, and quickly pointed her hand to a boulder, using the particles from that, she made herself as hard as rock, allowing her to take a few hits before more blood spilt out but it was nothing compared to what she would have taken. She ran into the village, continuing to pant as she ran in, she fell to the ground. She looked back to see the golems continuing to chase her. She sighed softly, she was badly injured, covered in cuts, bruises and blood. She needed help, she needed to find somebody, she quickly got herself up and continued to run. She could heal herself with her power, but she hadn't the energy to do so.

She kept running but she had fallen over. She was done for, dead, or so she thought. It was then that a woman who possessed a huge sword with razor-sharp edges came jumping down off a building and sliced one of the Golems in half. She then spun around and threw her sword in the chest of another. She reached out her hand and the sword came back to her on its own.

"Don't worry, I'll take care of these."

The golems, however, were going to be a bigger problem than she realised. As the earth began to surround her, with the floor beginning to grow hotter by the second. A huge lightning storm had appeared, while gale winds were knocking her off balance. finally, water was beginning to fill the confined space Seth was in. Within minutes, she too would die. She jumped up and out to safety before she became fully trapped. Once she was out she enhanced her speed then sped off towards the golems. Using her combat magic to strengthen her sword she cut through one of the golems before landing on the floor. Then she threw her sword in the air and made it duplicate sixteen times. The swords stabbed into the remaining golems, four each and all blew up. Once the Golems were gone she ran back to the village and the stranger.

"Are you alright? You must be pretty important if all those golems were after you. My name is Seth, who are you?"

Isabella slowly stood up with a sigh and gave a small smile to her.

"My name is Isabella, and I am searching for the Chosen Ones. I have possible known whereabouts to their locations. The Elemental King has already stolen all of my data, well most of it. I kept it on a map where the best places to search would be, now he has it."

She sighed, and slowly, Seth nodded to her. The situation was worse than she thought. Things were getting bad, and it wouldn't be long until the elementals if they were here would be forced to reveal themselves whether they liked it or not.

Yin

Yin was in the mountain village relaxing. He was too far from the small village that was settled beside the elemental tower to see what was going on. He looked out towards the forest and was glad he couldn't see any danger. At least not yet. All was clear for now. He sat down and rose the earth and crushed it to make a small rock which he started to toss back and forth watching out for any danger. He knew that being the lookout was boring but it was an important job, one that could not be ignored. After a few minutes had gone by he saw airships and battleships in the far distance but he couldn't see clearly enough to see what they were doing. He watched as they rapidly approached. Quickly, he jumped down from watch and pressed his hands to the earth. The mountain village immediately became hidden as earth warped around the entire village, making it look like a normal mountain.

Link

Link was in Skyloft, the city in the sky. He had just finished his training exams and was relaxing. He stared down at the clouds and let out a small sigh. A thoughtful look came upon his face.

"I always wonder, is there anything beyond the skies?"

Gaepora slowly walked up beside him and looked down to the clouds as well.

"Nobody knows. There are hundreds of theories, but the strongest one is that whatever was down there, if anything is nothing but ruins. People believe that humanity sent the city of Skyloft into the skies to stop the chaos and destruction that was happening on the surface world, and after hundreds of years later, the surface world became destroyed, no more and Skyloft remained to be the last of humanity, but of course that is only a theory, it's all we've got. It's too dangerous to go beyond the clouds to find out for sure. The Guardians can't see through the clouds and they would be flying blindly."

Link looked to him, listening intently before looking back to the clouds. He knew he was different though, He could actually go down there if it just weren't forbidden. He let out a sigh and gave a simple nod.

"I could change it all though but I understand. It's forbidden, and that's something I'll never be able to change."

Gaepora gave a simple nod before walking away. Link continued to stare at the clouds, watching them as he relaxed.

Aurora

Aurora was in Atlantis checking up on everyone and making sure everything was okay when she felt vibrations in the water. She looked up towards the surface to see submarines and battleships far above Atlantis but the city was protected, invisible to the naked eye due to the Atlantian runes and magic. They had passed many times before. She would always destroy them whenever they got too close though but she liked to avoid that as that only drew more attention to herself. She knew that in order to protect her city she would have to reveal herself soon and start looking for the other chosen ones but for now, she would wait just a little bit longer.

Sheik

It was another beautiful day in shyloft but with his classes over for the day Sheik was already starting getting bored. Sheik decided he would go look for something to do or more accurately someone to spare with he headed for the edge of the island looking for link since he is always up for a match. After few minutes he reached the edge of the island at Links favourite relaxation spot Sheik stood behind Link and looked down at him sheiks shadow covered links with the sun at their back Sheiks shadow was cast over Link blocking his sun light.

“Hay Link I’m bored and looking for someone to fight you interested?.

Dante

Dante woke up in the heart of the volcano like he did every day but today something felt different he wasn’t sure what but for some reason he felt a lot stronger then normal he was used to his power growing a little each and every but this felt different like he somehow gained more power then normal. Regardless of the reason he felt like he was ready to begin his journey of revenge. Dante always knew this day would come it’s not like the king would ever find him in the volcano not when his army already destroyed the village at the foot of the volcano. Dante walked over to the outer wall of the volcano as he did he covered his arm in highly condensed ash as he did fire surrounded his ash gauntlet once he reached the wall he punched it as hard as he could braking a large hole in the wall big enough to walk though. The force of this attack not only broke open the wall it caused the volcano to begin erupting as lava and molten rocks rained from the sky Dante’s arm returned to normal as he casualty began walking away. Dante didn’t know where the closest town or village was from him know but he figured if he just kept walking in the same direction he would find one eventually.

Arthur

Arthur I’m the middle of another training session Practicing facing multiple opponents at once when he saw a volcano in the distance that had been dormant for years suddenly erupt. This alone wouldn’t be suspicious but it erupted without any of the typical signs that it was due to erupt with his knowledge of the prophecy and his destiny he could only assume this was some kind of sign.

“That’s enough training for now in fact it’s cancelled until farther notice I am going to investigate the cause of that eruption”

With that Arthur covered himself in psychic energy and flew off towards the volcano he knew there was a town between his village and the volcano maybe someone there may know something and save him the hassle of personality going all the way to the volcano.

Omi

Omi was meditating peacefully in the church until he heard a loud explosion in the distance. He opened his eyes for a moment before he slowly got himself up. He walked outside of the church and looked outside in the distance to see a volcano was erupting. Then as he continued to watch he saw somebody flying towards the volcano rapidly. He turned back and went into the church then walked up to the priest. "I must leave immediately. I believe my destiny is beginning to unfold. Farewell, my brother." He placed his fist into his palm then bowed respectfully. Omi didn't have time to say farewell to every one of his brothers. He had to get going quickly. He walked outside again so the volcano was in view then brought his index and middle fingers together and raised his hand to his chest. Omi closed his eyes and focused on the volcano. In an instant, he faded into the light and disappeared. Instead, he reappeared at the volcano's base. He looked around, doing a full 180 until he saw someone who had been behind him. "Greetings friend. Would you happen to know anything about the eruption of this volcano?"

TJ

TJ walked casually through the town, his head held high. He watched as everyone fawned over him. He loved it. He didn't care about anything else. At least until the volcano erupted. Everyone's attention turned to the volcano instead of him and it annoyed him greatly. He turned to the volcano himself which wasn't far away and sighed. This volcano was going to prove troublesome if it was erupting. He shrugged and decided that it would be an easy task to deal with it quickly. He ran forward then did a running jump and as his feet came off the ground his entire body turned to lightning. He shot off towards the volcano and was there in an instant. He looked around to see someone else was already here although he didn't understand what a monk was doing out here but that didn't matter. He then looked to the other person. He looked up at the volcano and started to wonder how he could stop it. "Hey you two, how do we stop this damned thing?" He couldn't let the volcano cause any serious damage it wouldn't look good on him.

Red

Little Red walked through the Forest of the Dead slowly while her animal friends followed her. She stopped to turn as the volcano erupted not too far from where she was but it was no concern of hers. The volcano was too far away to affect her and her friends. She turned again and continued to walk through the dead forest. As she did she hummed softly. The birds sang along with her hum until she reached an old cottage deep within the forest. She knew that nobody came in this forest at least not many people did anyway and the spooky old forest scared trespassers. She didn't have to worry about visitors. She sat herself down and relaxed with her animal friends.

Ruby

Ruby watched as Arthur did his training session. She didn't bother giving him an advantage by singing because he didn't need it. She enjoyed watching him fight, it was always fun to see him improve every day. When the volcano erupted she watched as he took off immediately. She knew that something like that wasn't normal. Volcanos didn't normally erupt randomly without any reason at all so Ruby decided to follow, the problem was she couldn't fly. At least not normally. Ruby took a deep breath and began to sing. While she sang she ran forward until wings magically came out of her back. She jumped in the air while still singing and flew after Arther. When she finished singing she turned to Arther with a smile. "You could have waited for me, Arther. Do you think we will find another elemental chosen one here?" SHe kept her eyes open as they rapidly approached the volcano.

Igna

Igna had received her orders. She was to go out and do another search for the elemental chosen heroes. She decided to check the graveyards this time. As the golems followed her she directed them in other directions. She much preferred to work alone. Besides if they separated they had a much better chance of finding one of the chosen ones. She entered a rather dull graveyard and looked around. She couldn't see anything special about it from just looking around but she knew if this was going to be a sacred place where a chosen one was going to hide then it wouldn't be so obvious. So Igna decided to check every grave. She focused her anger and hatred into the palm of her hand and fired a large red blast at one of the gravestones. The gravestone was destroyed but there was no sign of any hidden entrance. She did this for each and every gravestone. Destroying them all one by one seeing if she could find any sort of entrance. If not she planned to move to the next one and the next one. Eventually, she had to find something.

Rehji

Rehji gave a nod as she received her orders it seams it was time for yet another search for the chosen ones. Rehji walked out of the castle with a sigh prepared for another day of fruitless searching She just needed to find a clue or sign that could point her in the right direction but she never found anything of the sort. Even as optimistic as she is she was finding it hard to believe today would be any different that was until she saw a volcano exploding in the distance. Rehji let out smile as she took of like a rocket flying towards the sight of the explosion.

Dante

Dante was just walking in a random direction hoping to run into a town or village or anywhere he could find someone to get some information about the kings activities when suddenly not one but two people practically fell from the sky and started asking him questions he froze in place for a moment a little stunned. After processing the situation for a second he took a good look at them one seam pure and kind hearted while the other was anything but. Dante could sense how prideful the man was as well as his relentless greed for popularity. Dante looked to the monk.

“Yeah I decided i had lived in the volcano for long enough figured it was time to finally start searching for allies to help seek revenge on the elemental king so I punched a hole in the side of the volcano to create an exit.”

After that he looked to the other as he roles his eyes at his question before answering.

“Stopping an erupting volcano that’s simple enough just blow a big enough hole in the side of it and all the larva will escape from the sides instead of shot out the top or ya could just blow the damn thing up”

As Dante was talking he hailed up his hand as he created a large ball of fire far bigger then any of them. he then compressed into a fire ball that could easily fit in the palm of his hand. Dante then throw the fire ball at the volcano and as soon as it hit the fire rapidly expanded creating a huge explosion and vaporising the volcano.

Arthur

As Arthur continued to fly towards the volcano Ruby caught up to him he listened to her questions and looked at her with a smug grin and he replied in a somewhat condescending town.

“Volcanos don’t just erupt for no reason someone had to of cased it and whoever they are would need some kind of powers. And we know the Fire elemental is supposed to be hidden within or around a volcano so it’s highly likely we will find a chosen one their but even if we don’t we will definitely find someone with power who may prove to a useful ally. Not to mention that eruption could be see for miles around so others may go to investigate. This also means that the elemental king will likely send some of his men as well so no i didn’t have time to wait for you besides I knew you where capable of catching up but even if you weren’t you should know by now those who can’t keep up get left behind.”

Arthur stoped in mid air for a moment as he saw a monk appear out of nowhere and another man appeared from a blot of lighting it was better then he could of hoped other chosen ones had shown up to investigate the volcanos sudden eruption as well however he was suddenly blown back by the force of a large explosion caused by the fire elemental

“Well if the elemental kings army wasn’t already on their way they sure as hell are now”

Rehji

As Rehji approached the sight of the volcano she saw a huge firey explosion confirming the fire elemental was definitely in the area. Rehji looked back to make sure the 20 soldiers and 15 golems where keeping up with her as she the fire elemental wouldn’t come quietly. Once there however she saw 3 people gathered at the base of the mountain and 2 others flying nearby. Rehji used her aura reading powers and saw one had a Firey aura one had a aura of pure light another had an electrified aura and one had an aura that similar to cold steal the last one showed no signs of being a chosen one but Rehji smiled knowing this fight should prove to be a lot of fun. Rehji created blade out of her aura and attached a simple report to it and sent it flying back straight to the elemental king.

Rehji then created 4 aura clones of herself the real Rehji covers herself in an full body suit of aura armour then flew at the fire elemental with 5 aura blades floating around her. She then held out her hand and fired an aura blast while two of the aura blades swung at him and created large aura slashes flying at him while the other 3 blades came at him from both sides and from his back.

Meanwhile one each of the clones flew at the other 3 elementals and the last one headed for Ruby. The first and second clones headed for the light and lighting elementals knowing full well how fast they could move they both came from opposite directions as they attempted to hit them with a powerful aura punch however this was just a diversion. Their real goal was to wait for them to evade the attack and hit them with a follow up attack before they launched a counter attack. with them both facing opposite directions they could see practically the whole battlefield and as soon as they made their move the two clones would shoot out a powerful blast of aura strong to destroy the volcano that was once in the large creator. If this failed however the clones would explode as soon as the enemy got to close delivering a far more destructive explosion then the blast they had shot at them they would also explode if they managed to deal enough damage to the clones to destabilise them.

The other two clones headed for Arthur and the girl flying beside him the clones knew that they could easily see them coming and had plenty of time to prepare but they had a plan. 1 clone attacked head on creating a huge energy bomb and threw it at them and once it got closer it shot a aura beam at the bomb detecting it creating a huge explosion and a bright flash of light temporarily blinding them while other other disappeared behind them with another 5 aura blades it sent 3 flying at Arthur and 2 at the girl attempting to impale them however if this failed they would shoot a powerful aura blast at them from tip of the blades and if that failed they would get as close as possible and attempt to explode in their faces.

Meanwhile as Rehji and her clones attack the 3 elementals and their ally the 20 soldiers split into 5 teams of 4 each group began combining their powers the 3 groups targeting the fire lighting and light elementals decided to work together. One team focused their power into the earth creating earth spikes to shoot at them while vines rose up all around them attempting to bind them and create a vine dome to block their escape while also firing thorn bullets at them. The other two teams focused their powers on water and wind elements creating a powerful blizzard inside the the vine dome with hoping to freeze the light and lighting elementals.

The last two groups also decided to cooperate to attack Arthur and Ruby focusing their powers on the lighting and wind elements. They created a powerful thunderstorm above their heads shooting lighting at them both as well as creating razor shapes winds in an attempt to cut the to pieces.

The 15 golems also split into 5 groups of 3 and just like the soldiers they each had donr they each had their own targets and the groups who’s targets are close to each other decided to work together.

The 3 targeting the fire lighting and light elementals saw the attacks the soldiers created and decided to add to it 1 group used the dark elemental to weaponise darkness inside the vine dome creating a dark barrier restricting the movements of those inside while also firing dark blasts at all of the elementals inside. The other two group decided to simply amplify all the elemental attacks produced by the soldiers knowing their powers where weaker then that of the golems.

The last two groups targeting Arthur and Ruby saw the storm created by the soldiers and one of the groups of golems used the large shadow created from the storm clouds while the other use the light that was still surrounding them and create a omi directional light and dark attack aimed at Arthur and Ruby. With the white light and black darkness heading for them from all directions it create a yin yang simple in the air around them. As powerful beams of light and darkness shot at them. with the powers of light and dark swallowing around so close together this created a powerful reaction causing all that power to become unstable and after a few seconds of omi directional light and dark beams being fired at them the yin yang simple around them exploded creating a blast strong enough to create a crater twice the size of the one created by the volcanos destruction.

Ruby

Ruby saw the light elemental one and the lightning elemental one go to the volcano. Just as they were closing in the entire volcano exploded pushing her back from the shear shockwave. Moments later they had the Kings' men attacking. Ruby watched as a huge energy bomb was sent at them she was about to use her powers to stop it when it exploded and blinded her. She only had a few seconds as she turned around and saw another attack headed for her. She let out a harmonising voice and weaponised it sending the aura blades back as well as creating a song barrier around her protecting her. When the clones tried to come close to blow up in her face she sang softly creating a small barrier around the clone so that when it exploded the explosion was contained. Her song barrier was enough to protect her from the cutting wind and thunderstorms. Finally, she took a deep breath and began to quickly sing. The song itself made her stronger, faster, think clearer, react faster, boost her morale and overall confidence.



As she sang the music wrapped around her and everyone one else making a powerful music barrier. The yin yang blast pushed her back once more but because of her song impowerment, any wounds that were caused were healed. She landed on the floor and began to shoot out waves of music at the golems. The song itself making all of her attacks much more deadlier. The waves of music would explode upon impact. As she sang louder and harder music blasted out in an omi directional attack. She then jumped in the air then used her music manipulation to jump even higher. Using her music manipulation she created a song dragon.



She landed on the song dragon still singing and as the dragon flew overhead she let out exploding music notes all over the battlefield. The song dragon created a music bomb in his hands and shot it out at the golems creating a separate song entirely.



The music bomb would explode into thousands of music notes targeting each golem. The two together they combined their musical prowess and created a separate music bomb as big as the yin yang blast and aimed it at the center of the battlefield.

Omi

Omi watched as the fire elemental one destroyed the volcano sending him flying back. He got himself up only to be attacked by the King's men. He watched as one of them launched an aura punch towards him. Omi knew there was no way to talk himself out of this. Words would not win this battle. He brought up his hand and placed his index and middle together in front of him. He then waited for the aura punch to hit him. As the aura punch came for him it went straight through him as his body faded into nothingness. Immediately after two clones appeared in the air and shot divine light beams out of their hands. The aura blasts hit the divine light which caused a huge explosion. Then as the clones tried to blow up Omi made himself intangible, avoiding the attack altogether. When the earth spikes and the thorn bullets were fired at him he warped the light around them as they travelled through the air causing them to become bright yellow. Then they stopped in mid-air and fell to the floor. When it came to the dark blasts he manipulated the light around him and created a solar explosion vaporising the dark blasts.

Once all of that was done he heard Ruby's song empowering him and making him more confident and much stronger. He felt like they could do this even if they were outnumbered they just had to be careful. He warped the light around him and around the scroll. The light around the scroll made it open up revealing huge ink paintings. Using his powers he brought out one of the paintings, bringing it to life.



The black chimaera screeched out loudly with a deafening scream then used sound vibrations to instantly destroy all golems by using the exact frequency to make them implode. Then is shot out black phoenix feathers, stabbing them into the ground creating ink bombs which would explode whenever someone came in range. Then he created an acidic ink vortex which would spray out black ink strong enough to melt the toughest metals. Omi created a holy light domain which would bless all within it, strengthening them while at the same time it would weaken all enemies. Finally, he created an omnidirectional light rune behind his head and created huge bombs of light causing light to explode randomly where the enemies were as well as causing light to collapse on itself.

TJ

TJ watched as the volcano was destroyed and was sent back. Moments later they were attacked. They were fools if they thought they could beat him. He held out his sword and changed the properties of the clone's electrons, sending a shockwave throughout the body. Then without moving, he sensed another clone behind him. He transformed himself into a lightning bolt and flew into the aura blast electrifying it and turning it into yellow lightning aura and thus his domain then sent the attack back at the clone. He transformed back into his normal form and once again manipulated the electrons to weaponise them. After that, he covered himself in lightning so any projectile that came close to him would be struck down. With the dark blasts already dealt with it was time to have some fun.

He listened to the song that made him stronger and cracked his knuckles, giving a cocky little smile. He looked up to the lightning storm and let out a sigh. "Has nobody ever taught you common sense? Please, you're in my domain now." He then closed his eyes and focused on all the electrons from the King's army. He then amplified them and changed the properties so the electrons would attract any and all lightning. After that, he manipulated the storm clouds and had it shoot out omnidirectional super rad plasma blasts instead of normal lightning. Lastly, he stabbed his sword into the ground and electrified the atoms in the earth causing the earth to become a living lightning field that would electrocute anyone who stood on the ground. As he did this he placed an electron barrier over all allies.

Link

Link continued to stare down at the clouds as Sheik spoke to him. He was about to answer when heard extremely loud music, flashes of light and feel an immense amount of power coming down below. He looked to Sheik before looking to the clouds again.

"I think not. There is something going on down there and I want to find out what."

He jumped off the island and fell quickly. He used his wind powers to separate the clouds so he could see and then caught himself in the wind so he landed safely. Looking around he could see that there was a large battle going on. Hearing the song made him felt more confident and stronger. He decided that he would stick around and help. Quickly he used his wind powers to turn all the air inside of any of the King's men into explosive bombs, igniting the air and blowing them up from the inside.
