Personality:
Lucian is a very intelligent man who knows how to manipulate those around him as well as he does computer coding. He is charming and friendly to everyone he interacts with. However, he really is rather cold and selfish person. He is only nice to people to further his own reputation. He feels no empathy for anyone and does as he pleases. He is essentially a sociopath.
Lucian does not get mad often and is a very calm and patient man. He knows to hesitate when appropriate and think things through. Though a very intelligent man, he doesn't put much effort into the long-run of his life and lives in the now. Teachers had mistaken him for lazy for many years of his schooling but he had seen no point in falling into line as one of society's slaves. He is very much the street-smart type. Lucian rather cheat his way through life by resorting to criminal activity from the comfort of his own home. He would cheat, steal and even kill to get what he wants. He relies on loopholes to get through life.
Background:
Lucian was born to Cassandra and Scott Devorah. He had lived in Sol City all his life as a only child. His father was an arrogant alcoholic who beat Lucian from a very young age for what would seem like no reason at all. Cassandra was a much more sane woman, however, she also fell victim to Scott's alcoholic rampages until the time of her death. Cassandra and Lucian did not get along well. She'd call him a devil spawn often and Lucian had threatened her with knives multiple times whenever she did not agree with him. She saw his father in him and avoided him until her death when Lucian was only ten. Lucian was told otherwise, but Scott had murdered her in a fit of rage just as Lucian graduated elementary school. His father was ultimately imprisoned and he moved into an orphanage, where he played his cards right and found himself adopted. No relatives had wanted to take him in out of fear for their own safety.
For his own sake, Lucian learned to pick up on social cues and treat the new family with kindness as it did not take much with the type of background he had to invoke pity. They would feel sorry for him and shower him with anything he liked. The family was comprised of a wealthy couple named Amanda and Thomas, as well as their own daughter Sarah. They seemed to grow very fond of Lucian. He did not have many friends as a child as his violent upbringing had isolated him. He stuck to himself to video games and his computer to cope for most of his younger years. It was a slightly nice change to have sane people to interact with, but Lucian never grew much feelings toward them.
When it came to school, teachers often accused Lucian of being lazy. He never seemed to study, do his homework or put effort. Then he'd astonish them with remarkable test grades that usually were due to cheating or from him remembering things easily from class. This allowed him to pass by without putting much effort at all. When Lucian had come home from school, he'd go straight to the computer and spend all his time there. From his middle school years, Lucian expressed a interest in coding after witnessing hackers in games he played. He picked up on it and spent most of his time looking into it and exploring the dark corners of the deep web.
When Lucian graduated, he surprised his family with having enough money to move out immediately. He did not care when they bombarded him with questions and simply ignored them, moving out and never returning. Any attempts to contact him were unsuccessful. He knew that even if he had wanted to contact them, he could not after what he had done. Lucian had discovered someone asking for a hitman to kill someone in the next town over. So Lucian had taken a bus, watched the man, and then violently slit his throat in the middle of the night in an isolated alley. He made sure he was not seen and covered his tracks well, having researched for some time before the act. It had been slightly amusing to watch on television as the murder was reported but the murderer was never found. He felt a surge of joy that he had never felt before. As long as he lacked morals, he could make money easier than anyone in the world. However, hits nearby were not a common request so serial killing did become a frequent event for him. He instead, after using the money earned to move out into his own apartment, started involving himself in the black market, getting involved in any crime he possibly could from then on to cheat his way through life, taking up many opportunities to hack into computers for others.

Currently, my character is in interaction with @PrinceAlexus, and @Allycat. However, the scene has fluidly shifted to a conversation between them, which should prevent my leaving from causing any issues with the scene.
Ok, now that I've had time to sit and read, I'm gonna have to say No to this one. A serial killer is a pretty far reach for what I'm willing to accept. Your character can have a troubled past, there are other characters that have that as well, but this is just too much for this game. Take a look at some of the other accepted CS sheets: There are multiple chefs/cooks, artists, students, travelers and so on- Serial Killer just isn't going to work. I don't have a problem with the hacker part, we already have one character that has that talent. I think what could be neat would be if he were a con-man or some other less illicit activity than murder.
@KillBoxI setup a restaurant down a back alley, never picked an exact location but it is supposed to be a central location. Maybe have our characters meet up randomly, whatever you feel.

Sadie and her family originally lived in New York when Sadie was growing up. Her life from birth to about 6 was fairly normal. She had many friends in Kindergarten, and first grade had started the same way until something happened.
You see Sadie wasn't born a Woulfe. She was adopted into the family at the age of six. She was orphaned when her family was killed during a kidnapping gone wrong. Her father and mother tried to stop two men who were attempting to kidnap Sadie and her younger brother. The parents were killed by the two men, and Sadie and her brother had received serious injuries, but before the kidnappers could getaway, the cops showed up. The men were arrested, and the two children were rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, Sadie's brother died during treatment, and when Sadie was stable weeks later, they moved her to the children's wing. The long process of figuring out what to do with her began. She had no close or distant living relatives, and they were most likely going to put her in the foster program. However, there was a family that had happened to be volunteering at the hospital at the time, and Sadie quickly became attached to the twins of the family. The kids knew that Sadie was probably going to become a foster child, but they couldn't let it happened. So after days of constant begging, their parents decided to undergo the adoption process. She doesn't remember much before the incident but loves her new family all the same.
Sadie was overjoyed with the fact that someone had chosen to take her in. She had two new older brothers, Oliver and Alex; two older sisters, Lindsey and Kiley; and a younger brother, Micky. Her new parents were Nathan and Taylor. Her new family was loving and caring, and she didn't feel left out for one second. They always made sure she felt at home with them. This is only the first chapter of Sadie's story. After finishing her schooling with this wonderfully close family standing behind her, she decided to head out on her own to pursue her love of dancing.
As far as who she is, Sadie is a natural caretaker. It is just who she is. Whenever she sees anyone hurting or in need, she can't help but try to take care of them no matter who they are or what they've done. Although she does at times, neglect to take care of herself and if anyone mentions it she will get upset. She makes friends easily, but she won't abandon her closest friends. Some people on the outside looking in probably think she has gotten over her past and is a perfect example of what someone should hope to be.
This isn't true in the slightest. She still has her issues. As a result of the trauma early in her life, she has developed chronic depression and Depersonalization Disorder. It hasn't been that bad in recent years because she is starting to get better, but she is still very self-conscious.
Chapter One: [not shown] After finishing work that day Sadie received a phone call from home about a family emergency. She went home and is just now arriving back in Sol City.
Tell us about yourself:
*Your age: 22
*What part of the world are you from? USA sorry
*How many years have you been writing/roleplaying: Since I was a kid. Not sure exactly what year I started.
*How often do you have time to post? It usually depends as my schedule is constantly changing but if need be I could do one a day if needed.
*Anything else you want to mention? What do you do for a living? How much do you work a week? What do you enjoy doing besides writing? Put as much as you want. I work at my mom's CPA office, so my hours are flexible depending on when I'm needed. The main thing that got me into writing/roleplaying was my love of acting. When I learned I could do all the stuff on stage on paper/forums I instantly dived in.
"These are the things that make a good story great and good writers even greater."
Very Simple: Are you, as a PLAYER more a solo/small group poster or would you consider yourself a social butterfly open for anything?
Well, I've done all everywhere and in between and enjoy all of it. I like both styles and I have issues with both styles. The only time I don't enjoy large groupings of characters is when myself or someone else seems to be getting ignored. I enjoy small groups but I'm not the best at leading things unless I have more than one character involved or control over some NPCs. Other than that I can struggle in very small groupings if I don't have much to work with. I'd say my ideal set up would be 4 - 5 people to specifically be rping with.
Choose a number from 1-5 telling us where you would rate yourself in the above criteria. ONE being the least interactive and FIVE being the most.
I'd love to give a higher number but I'll have to stick with a 3 as despite the fact I like to be apart of decently sized groups I tend to be very slow at posting. I'm just not very good at thinking creatively very quickly.
Your good. Tidy that to one special skill, your welcome to have others and many as is mostly sensible. We are not wanting to be mega strict. Just Don't go mad and out rival Da vinchi and Thomas edison by 18 combined. Though just one notable special skill.
👍 Gotcha. I’ll make dancing her special skill and she’ll just be good at da baking. If anyone wants to do a flash mob proposal Sadie’ll be the one to call. She’ll make it fantastic. (She watches a lot of flash mob proposals but then again so do I.)
Edit: Also, just noticed the coding doesn’t look that good on phone. Ugh, I need an aesthetic teacher.
