"Aah, was that sufficient? It's kind of not very straightforward."
Lumina Lusteria

"Well, I'd be lying if I now have a deep understanding of what you do. But I do get the part where you use your will in conjunction with your enchantment spells on yourself. Did I get that, right?" Ecthel asked. "So your spells only work if you're confident with your compassion? That's actually pretty interesting, it prevents you from misusing or abusing your magic. Although, hopefully that doesn't kick in at a very inopportune time."

As the two of you conversed, two familiar figures arrived and Ecthel was the first to notice. "Hey, you two." He greeted Alicia and Mira with a wave. "How's Seleth? Got any news from the Princess?" He immediately asked them.

"Seleth's doing fine, although she does look troubled. Mmm, more than usual. As for Princess Lisia, she said she was still working things with her family but she'll be with in Pinsilpi as soon as possible if she's allowed." Mira replied. "Uhh, sorry for making you two wait long." The onmyoji apologized.

"Hey, it's okay. It allowed me and Lumina here to get to know each other better."

With everyone present, you and the three students prepared with the caravan for the journey. The caravan contained traveling merchants, bodyguards and regular travelers. The party would be attached to one of the merchants, a friend of Alicia's family, and they would get off once the caravan reaches Pinsilpi. The merchant himself would be getting off at Pinsilpi to watch over the party and provide help if needed.

Just as the caravan was taking off, you were approached by the onmyoji girl. "We've come a long way, haven't we? Well, I don't know about you but... I didn't come from the Eastern Isles expecting all this." Mira made a sad chuckle. "Honestly, I'm afraid of what we'll find, or face, in Pinsilpi... and in the future. But, running away isn't an option for us, is it? Whatever comes, we'll face it." She breathed a sigh and a smile formed. "I am glad though that we are facing it with our friends by our sides."

"Come on, you two! Or we'll get left behind!"

I watched them as they departed in their filled wooden wagons and in their pretty, decorated coaches. The caravan will not reach its intended destination. I am fairly sure that you, too, know that Pinsilpi will be their last stop.

I was already there. Varjan and his cronies have already begun their fall. They were going to drag Razelia down with them, but even they did not realize that they would be dragging the world with them too. They will likely not live to see it, but they would be known across the world. Condemned like scum and revered like gods, all at the same time.

But you already knew that too, don't you? Of course you do, I just told you.
