My nickname at work is Sputnik because my boyfriend's a Soviet.

I've been sleeping in a tent for the past two months. It's part of a job. Paid camping!

I literally spent all day procrastinating.

Today I attended a religious service, trained in Krav Maga, played Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, bought a copy of Avengers: Endgame, brought my children to Karate/ Krav Maga class, cooked dinner, ate dinner and then watched Power Rangers with my son. Now I am going to go play ACO again before bed.

I'm can ride my motorcycle at 130mph but I'm too scared to ride a rollercoaster.

Went to a water park for the first time this week.

Can and will do it again.

Halloween is my third favorite holiday. I get to eat the candy containing nuts that my son cannot eat because he has a nut allergy. Easter is second. But Easter, Halloween and Christmas are the three candy eating holidays in our house. Always tons of candy.

I only get ahold of any candy from family members, well, mainly on Halloween, if that.

my jaw dropped when I found out there was an actual sour candy out there called 'toxic waste'. omg.

Back in my middle school days, I'd go over to the corner bodega and get one of these bad boys to enjoy my walk home:

to be honest, I hate sour candy.

I came back from vacation to find out that I had been robbed by my 'best friend' of five years.

I find it difficult not to handle some fossils and become deeply sentimental, one of the few times I break bearing. There is something so otherworldly about being so close yet so far removed from these things that even the thought can be profoundly moving. All the familiarity, all the soul of something still lingers even in death.

Speaking of Halloween. I want to dress as Tesla for Halloween this year.

Tesla is a five (5) letter word.

I am thinking about dressing up as sally from nightmare before Christmas for Halloween this year.

Back in middle school, I handed this chick from my bus a pet hamster I'd just purchased from another student minutes prior that same morning. She was supposed to look after it for me for the day and then give it back once we were both back in the bus that afternoon. I never saw her again after that. Bitch ran off with my hamster!

Also, around that time, votes were going around for the yearbook superlatives. The teacher himself nominated me for best eyes, but of course the popular girl won in the end...her and her shit-brown eyes.

And another time, I was threatened with suspension. Whenever the buses would pull up, everybody would push to get in first. The vice principal came over and shouted at everyone to get back to maintain order. Then the bus lady called for me to come in first since I was well-behaved and she liked me. Well, the VP yells at me to step back out. He questioned why I disobeyed him, and I explained to him the bus driver had called me to go in, and he yells that I was wrong since it was him who ordered the students to get in the bus. He told me he was suspending me and I started crying, but he allowed me to get in the bus and I never got called to the office so crisis averted.

Now that I think about it, middle school was a bit of a roller coaster.
