Lorelei had taken a nap-no full sleep coming to her. Her dreams usually surrounded torture in her exfiance’s room and the wailing of a newborn baby using it’s lungs for the first time.. things that haunted her & made tears strike in her sleep.

When she was awoken she jumped, startled, quickly wiping her eyes of all the moisture.

“I’m up,” she grumbles.
