Harriet thought about it quietly, thinking to herself.
"I've faced Daz before." She started, she threw her worry about mentioning this out the window. "Duncan and I believed he was dead, the last we saw of him he was.. Dead. The fact that he is back and alive..." She paused, breathing in, "This is a massive worry for us."

Steph's face deepened in red colour before she mumbled something under her breath before she looked up towards him with a gentle smile.
"I feel happier." She said with a sway of her tail, "I'm sorry... My mind just goes... somewhere dark sometimes..." She frowned a little before she looked to Benjamin with a small smile. "But knowing I have someone who cares about me... Makes me feel... Good."
Her wings had fanned out and her tail now happily swayed in the open.

"Of course it is," mr. Johnson said, frowning as he processed what he had just heard. Necromancy? Or a staged death? This Daz person sounded dangerous, he had to be dealt with. "You can count on the agency for assistance," he promised. "Once I received the information I will read it through and I'll call you back in for another meeting about this. I want to be read up on the subject before pursuing it."

Benjamin smiled to Steph. "That happens, people's minds go to dark places sometimes." He cupped her face with a hand. "Just remember that I'll be here for you."
"Ben..."
Benjamin looked up when he heard his name and saw Mike. "Hey, you got back too?"
"Yeah, Mitch just dropped me off." His eyes moved from Benjamin to Steph and back to Benjamin. "We have to talk." He glanced at Steph. "Alone."
Benjamin nodded slowly and turned to Steph. "I'll meet you later."

Harriet nodded at his words, "I'll let Duncan know. Would you like him to come meet you when he drops off the information?" She asked, thinking through things quietly. "He wouldn't take too long to get here, if especially needed he can use his lights to get here faster."

Steph smiled and was about to say something before Mike appeared. She waved at him with a small smile before she nodded to Steph.
"I'll.. Be out back near the field?" She said, slightly unsure of her words. She wandered past the house, glancing up towards Gaia, who was crouched on top of the roof. The two Unknowns locked eyes for a moment before Steph moved to sit on a bench.
She sighed and leaned forward, resting her elbows on her legs and thought to herself.

"He doesn't need to be here fast," mr. Johnson decided, "but I would like to meet with him. Please arrange it."
He started to think about everything that had to be taken care off, he would need a meeting with some senior agents too. With Harriet, it was important to keep her close in this case.

Benjamin nodded to Steph and then turned to Mike. "So, what has gotten you so worried."
Mike took in a deep breath. "We are friends, and friends should be honest with each other, right?"
"Of course," Benjamin said, unsure where this was going.
"I've been studying Succubi. You have to keep your distance with her, she can be more dangerous than she seems. But it looks like... you already are under her spell."
"I'm under no-ones spell," Benjamin stated, crossing his arms. "I like her. Don't be so paranoid, it's Steph. She isn't an evil, men-devouring demon."
"Ben..."
"I really don't want to hear you talk about her like that. She's not dangerous." Benjamin walked away, leaving Mike behind, and went in the direction he had seen Steph go.

Harriet nodded as she stood up, "I'll contact him soon." She said before she moved towards the door, pulling her phone out to text Duncan when she was outside. "Thank you for this meeting." She said to Mr. Johnson, smiling genuinely at the man before she left the room.
Harriet walked off to her room and pushed the door open, Arvo moving to coil around her head and shoulders. "Hey Darling, Hello." She said before she pulled her phone up to call Duncan.

Gaia watched Ben and Mike quietly, moving to leap from the roof to the tree beside him. She landed much like a big cat on the branch.
"I hope there won't be any rifts in the team here..." She said smoothly, watching the boy.

Steph sat on the bench with a small sigh, she glanced over to the field and flexed her fingers. She wondered what April wanted to talk to Benjamin about, she shook it off for now and straightened up in the bench.
She heard footsteps behind her, expecting Benjamin, but instead this taller, older looking male sat beside her without a word.
Steph stayed quiet at first before she pulled all of her confidence together. "Who-"
"My name isn't important." The Male said, his deep black hair glistening, "April sent me to make sure you were okay. It's not often I track someone of my own."

Mike watched Benjamin walk away and then looked at Gaia. "I wouldn't let that happen," he said. "If he doesn't want me to talk about it, I won't. I..." Maybe it was best not to talk to Gaia about it either, Steph was on her team after all. "I'll give in," he said, kicking some grass. "I'm used to that. I rather to that than getting the others mad at me and leave..."
He sighed, rubbing his face with a hand. He was worried about Ben, but he feared abandonment more, so he decided to just keep an eye on Steph and step in when things became dangerous.

Benjamin saw Steph sitting on the bench with someone else and walked towards them. He heard the last sentence. Competition?
"Hey," he said as he reached the bench and he looked at the male. "I don't think we've met," he said, extending a hand. "I'm Benjamin."

Gaia's ears dropped at Mike's words, she stepped towards him and lifted him up off the ground to look at him, eye to eye. Her tail swayed slightly, her mouth upturned in a bit of a sneer.
"Do not give in." She said with a rumble in her chest, "You are stronger than this, do not roll onto your back." She almost seemed to threaten Mike.
"Gaia!" Harriet's voice echoed from behind her, Gaia's grip on Mike released, dropping the male. Her head turned to see Harriet running over to them.

"We don't pick up people!" Harriet said as she stopped, "I'm so sorry Mike." She moved to help him up, "I'm so super sorry. Are you okay?"
Gaia's eyes flexed in colour as Harriet came close, a high pitched sound rung in her ears and it was starting to drive her mental.

I'm trying to test the frequencies. A text came through to Mr. Johnson's phone, I'm figuring out what aggravates her and seeing how far I can pull it without her snapping.

The Male moved his eyes from Steph to Benjamin as he walked close, he stood slowly before he gripped Benjamin's hands with both of his hands.
"Mack." He said, a few strands of his hair showing through his hood. "A pleasure. April has told me about you."

Mike stared at Gaia, trying to wriggle out of her grip as he tried to lean back. In a way it was nice to hear she thought he was stronger than that and that she felt he shouldn't give in, but being held like that by a dragon felt dangerous. And her grip on him was quite tight. When he heard Harriets voice he got dropped to the ground. "Ouch," he grunted.
He allowed Harriet to help him up. "It...it's okay," he said, glancing to Gaia. "I'm okay."

Ethan had left the building with agent Morrison when he saw Gaia and Mike together. Then he noticed Gaia picking Mike and by the way he squirmed he didn't seem to enjoy it.
"I told you it's a monster," Morrison whispered. "She's unpredictable. Always keep a weapon with you when she's near."
Ethan ran over to the others, Harriet was with them too and had picked up Mike already. "What the hell is going on here?" he asked when he was close enough.

Mr. Johnson smiled when he read the text. Good, keep me informed.
Another text came in. Ethan will be ready to take out Gaia soon, he saw her grabbing one of his friends.
Also a good development.

"I will meet April tomorrow," Benjamin said, shaking Mack's hand, "I must say I barely know her, but I am looking forward to get to know her." He pulled his hand back and decided to sit down on the bench as well. "What brought you here?" he asked, "or is that between you and Steph?"

The sound stopped in Gaia's ears, her eyes returned back to normal, something Harriet noticed.
"Gaia..." Harriet started quietly before Gaia stepped back and fanned her wings out, taking to the sky again, disappearing from sight.
Harriet watched her team mate fly off and frowned, "Gods damn it." She said, almost bitterly, "She's never done that before. I'm so sorry Mike, are you okay?" She turned back to Mike to make sure he was okay.

She looked over to Ethan as he questioned about what was happening, "I... don't know." She started, "I walked out and saw Gaia holding Mike up." She looked up to the sky to find where Gaia had went, but couldn't find a sign of her.
Gaia fanned her wings out as she got high into the sky, taking in the sunlight before she dove back down, more towards the the mountains than the Mansion.
She landed with a rumble in her throat, she shook her head and neck, shaking off the low ringing now echoing through her body. She clenched her eyes closed, her iris twisting more to dragonic rather than humanoid.

I'm testing the other frequencies. The tester texted back, I think I've found a way to mess with the instincts.
They twisted a few more knobs, before they heard a loud snarl from above their hidden room. The figure glanced up through the grate and their eyes widened at the sight of Gaia crouched over where they were stationed. Oh shit. They thought, quietly moving to turn their phone on silent before sending out another text, She just landed on my room. I think she hasn't noticed me. I'll... keep you updated.

"She speaks highly of you already." Mack said with a glance towards Steph, "April asked me to check in on her, No reason for me not to visit my brothers child."
Steph froze up at the words, looking to Mack with a blink. "Wait. What?"

"I'm okay," Mike said, looking to Harriet first and then to Ethan. "I'm okay, don't worry. She... just didn't agree with what I said and wanted to... encourage me I guess."
"What did you say?" Ethan asked.
"Well... the point is that I had a bit of an argument with Ben and he walked out on me. When Gaia mentioned she hoped it wouldn't cause any rifts in our team I told her I wouldn't let that happen, that I would give in, which Gaia got angry about."
Ethan narrowed his eyes. "Well that was a dick move of him. I don't know what your argument was about and I don't care, but walking away is not how he should have dealt with it. And it's unlike him to do that."
The comment made Mike look in the direction Benjamin had left in with a worried look in his eyes, it affirmed his suspicion that Steph was dangerous and that Ben was falling under her spell or something. He glanced to Harriet, he wasn't sure if he could voice his concern with her. It seemed likely she would take Steph's side.

Mr. Johnson read the last text and frowned. If you can, send the data you've gathered so far. I want to have a look at it. And secure it in case Gaia did find the agent, but it was best not to mention that. I will position snipers just in case.
He picked up the phone. "Locate Gaia and keep her in your visor at all time, one of our men may be in danger."
That was all he could do at this point.

Benjamin looked at Mack with a surprised look on his face, why would April speak highly of him? Maybe he'd discover that the next day. When the family-relation was revealed he smiled, it was nice to witness this.

Harriet watched the skies for a moment before she looked back down to Mike and Ethan.
"I mean.... Please don't just back down in terms of that." She started, a small frown on her lips. "Ben has had... An eventful day by the sounds of things, he's probably just a little over stimulated." She looked over to Harriet and Benjamin, "I'm sure everything will go well." She gave a gentle smile to Mike, "Just ask to talk to him later, I'm sure once everything has settled down you can have a good talk."

The agent looked at their phone and started to send the files through to Mr. Johnson's computer before they glanced back up to Gaia above them.
Right. I can test something... They thought before they moved to turn on another frequency.
Gaia's ears flicked up before suddenly dropping as she let out a low grumble, shaking her head as she slowly backed off the spot she stood at.
She moved and slammed herself into the nearest tree with a loud grumble.
"I did it." The figure said, sending that information towards Mr. Johnson again.

Mack looked to Steph with a small smile. "You're my niece." He said, "Your father is my brother."
"No no I got that." Steph said with a blink, "But... You know my father?" Mack gave a gentle nod before he glanced to the city, "Aye, He's harder to contact than I. I'm merely a watcher Angel, your father is a Commanding Soldier."
Steph looked even more confused, "My... Father..." She started, "Is.... an... Angel?"

Mike was ready to say something, but Ethan didn't give him the chance. "Look, I don't care his day was eventful, Mike wouldn't lock a door in Ben's face after an argument and Ben shouldn't have walked out on him without warning. It's about respecting each other fears, and you don't know about them so that's fine, but he does, so, it was a dick move. But I'm willing to accept it was unintentional." He turned to Mike. "Right?"
Mike nodded to that. "Ethan, I need to talk to you for a moment." He turned to Harriet. "If you don't mind," he added. "It's a bit of a... private matter."

Mr. Johnson looked at the data, nodding to himself and looking rather pleased. Things were going well. All he needed to do was fuel Ethan's distrust a bit more and they would be set to go.
He took his phone to text agent Morrison. Show Ethan the file Case 12

When agent Morrison got the text he went to the archive to retrieve the file, it had information in it about a girl mutilated by a dragon-like demon. It wasn't Gaia, but the dragon-like attributes should be enough to fuel a distrust to all dragon-like creatures.

Benjamin looked from Mack to Steph, he was as surprised by the news as she was. He did recall there had been those guys who had wanted Steph because she was a demon, calling it angels turf. Demons and angels, he realized there was a lot he didn't know yet. The only thing he did know and understand were ghosts and spirits.

"Course~" Harriet said to Mike before she walked off towards the house, looking around with a tilt of her head.
A flood of worry went over her body as she neared the place; a figure moved away from her room windows before glancing back to Harriet. Harriet's eyes widened before she started towards them, the figure moving quickly to evade Harriet.
Harriet stopped as the figure disappeared from her view, moving to turn to her window, which was now open, before she sprung up to it.
Her room was all shifted, someone had been in here, Harriet's mind instinctively went to scan the room; wanting to make sure nothing was taken. Luckily for Harriet nothing had been taken, but things were looked through.
If that is Daz... She thought with a frown. He wouldn't have been able to find anything but... This is unsettling.

Mack gave a small smile, "Yes." He started, "I'll tell you tomorrow. Benjamin can talk to April and I'll come talk to you."
Steph gave a small nod and looked to Benjamin as Mack moved to leave.
"It was a blessing meeting you." He said with a bow before he fanned his deep grey wings from out of his cloak, taking to the air quickly.
"I'm... What?" Steph stood there, confused.

The Agent moved to poke their head out of their hidden space, getting Gaia's attention.
Gaia turned to face the Agent with a loud growl, moving to charge towards her. The Agent moved quickly, changing the frequency to watch Gaia suddenly stop in her tracks and faceplant into the ground in front of the Agent with a small growl.
"Whoa." The Agent spoke quietly, moving to move her hand out to touch Gaia, her curiousity getting the best of her.
Gaia didn't move to attack, the frequency running through her ears caused her to be relaxed and docile, her tail swaying slowly.

"Look," Mike said when Harriet was gone, "I learned more about Succubi, Stuart has been studying them and shared his findings. They are demons and they have killed men, but even if they don't, they can still... enchant a victim so they have an easy prey and the victim will think he is in love. And I tried to warn Ben about that."
"But he's in love and doesn't want to listen," Ethan concluded, spitting on the ground. "Morrison mentioned something similar with vampires, they can use their looks and charisma to blind a prey, make them fall in love with them. And because they look human we think they are, but they aren't human and we should never forget that. Steph is a succubus and a succubus is a demon who preys on men." he cursed under his breath and moved to put a cigarette in his mouth. "What do you want to do about it?" he asked with the cigarette between his lips as he tapped his pockets to find his lighter.
"I know how to send her to the demons realm, so I was going to not bring it up again with Ben, because he won't listen anyway, and just keep an eye on her. And if she does seem dangerous to him I will protect him, even if he doesn't want me to."
"Good plan," Ethan said. "I'll back you up. Don't go against her alone. You'll need time to do those ritual-things, right?" he saw Mike nod and lit his cigarette. "Then I will keep her distracted for as long as you need. No fucking demon will get Ben."

"It was nice meeting you too," Benjamin said and watched Mack fly away, before turning to the perplexed Steph. "Beautiful?" he finished the question, even though he knew that wasn't what Steph was referring to, he just liked to take the opportunity to point it out. "Although that shouldn't be a surprise if you are related to angels."

Agent Morrison had found the file and walked to where Ethan was. He halted when he saw Mike was with him, but decided that it wouldn't hurt if he would see the same things. Actually, that boy was a good excuse for showing the file. So he went over to them. "Additional assignment," he said, looking at Mike. "Here are the details of a demon, we had been able to defeat it, but we need better ways to deal with them. We believe there may be a nest of them somewhere." He handed Mike the file, who opened it.
It had pictures of the dead demon, it's written characteristics, the location where it had been found and killed, and the images of its victims, including a little girl. As Mike's eyes filled with horror as he watched it, Ethan's eyes darkened and showed anger.
"Can you look into it?" agent Morrison asked. "There are no reported sightings, so there is no rush, but we want to be ready in case they do come back. Last time it was a battle that cost the lives of five agents before we managed to kill it."
"Of course," Mike said.
"Great." He turned to Ethan. "Make sure to rest before we leave on our vampire hunt. It will be a long night." When Ethan nodded he wished them both a good afternoon and went away. He had purposely avoided the question if Gaia would still join them. It was best if Ethan forgot about her.

Mr. Johnson looked over all the data his operative had send him. It was all very interesting, this actually worked. All they had to do was crack up the volume when innocent people were at risk and Ethan would surely end Gaia for them. He trusted Gaia now and would finally see she really was nothing more than a monster.
He got a text from agent Morrison to let hem know about the file, he nodded to himself as he read it, it was a smart move to include Mike in it. All he needed to do now was keep Harriet busy. Maybe a bit of a wild-goose chase. A fake report about those gems. He needed her to be out of the way when the others would deal with her team-members.
He picked up the phone and dialled a number. "Keith, I will e-mail you some details, I need a fake mission soon."
"Okay boss."
Mr. Johnson quickly e-mailed some details to his specialist.

Steph's face deepened in red as Benjamin spoke to her in such a positive way, "I...What?" She started, stammering her words as she tried to think of what to say, "What do you mean? Why is it a surprise?" She asked, her mind reeling and her brain trying to take everything in.

The Operative watched Gaia, thinking about her next move.
Only one thing came to mind, the agent didn't know if they should act on it but they did anyway.
"Hey girl..." They spoke in a quiet tone, moving to hold their hand out, "I won't hurt you. I'm here to-" She was cut off as Gaia's expression suddenly changed from docile to hostile; A snarl ripped from her mouth as she seemed to lunge at the agent.

The Agent reacted by dropping to the ground and cowering in worry and fear, waiting for the pain of death to come.
But it never came, the sound of two beasts fighting echoed from behind their closed eyes and their clenched hands. The agent slowly loved their hands from their eyes and opened one, watching Gaia fight off this large moss green beast.
"What the...?" She went to try and get a video but noticed her camera was broken. She swore to herself as she just watched what happened.

Gaia backed away from the monster and let out a blood chilling roar that echoed for miles around, panting from the wounds she got on herself. The mossy green beast was worse for wear, it's body covered in claw and bite marks, blue blood oozing from the cuts and scratches deep enough to cause it to flow.
It let out a low rumble before it slunk back into the shadows. Gaia stayed in front of the Agent as the beast disappeared, her spines out and prickled before she seemed to suddenly relax. A swift glance towards the Agent and she took off again, flying further into the mountains and away from the Agent.

The Agent sat where she was, bewildered and confused. She moved to her laptop and sent off a message to Mr. Johnson before moving to pack up her gear and moved to messaging him on her phone.
Hey.. Uh... Boss? She sent first, This is a pretty wild question but... What was that Dragon Beasts real purpose again? What... Was she created for? Do we know?

Harriet had pushed everything in the center of her room aside, putting down a mat and trying out an exercise her father had taught her when she was younger.
She crossed her legs as she sat on the mat, placing her elbows against her tights and sat straight, closing her eyes and breathing in slowly, holding it before exhaling again.

She focused away from the world around her, everything she had done today, all of her worries. She focused on this small ball of power that had always been inside her, waiting... wanting...
Her fathers words swum in her mind; "If you hope to unlock your real powers. You must focus on them to allow their growth. Don't be afraid. The powers are there to help you."

She focused back on the ball of power, focusing on the pull and give it gave her whenever she tried to apply mental pressure on it.
Unknown to her, her room was twisting slowly, deep inky black lines moving from her body slowly started to stretch out from where she sat, coiling around the room and slowly up the walls; The tendrils moving slowly, ready to suddenly disappear whenever Harriet snapped back to reality. She wasn't ready to see them, but she was unlocking their power.

Harriet felt the orb suddenly give away, growing before breaking and the entire headspace of her mind suddenly went fully black. empty.

nothingness

Growling started to echo in her head, the sound of something wet and strong pressing against the ground. Thousands of bright yellow eyes suddenly opened around her; a voice suddenly spoke, chilling her to the bone.
"You." It whispered, despite it's loud booming presence. "You are a prodigy. You are stronger than you think. You are a Regal Memopath; born of mixed blood and off world... But my grip still touches you. I will not guide you, but I will help your power grow..."

Benjamin cupped Steph's face in his hands and looked her in the eyes. "Steph, Relax. I'm just saying you are beautiful, and I said it wasn't a surprise because according to the myths angels are beautiful creatures, but I doubt any of them is as pretty as you are." He released her face, but instead moved to grab her hand. "How about we go to my room and I will play a song on my saxophone and you will, for a moment, stop thinking about what happened today. Deal?"

Mr Johnson sighed when he got the text from the agent, she wasn't growing mellow, was she? Whatever the beast's purpose was, they could handle it themselves. Humans had been fighting dangerous creatures for millennia, they didn't need any unpredictable monsters in their area.
I'll look into it he texted back, and then texted one of the snipers he had send out to get an idea about what had happened. He frowned when the sniper mentioned witnessing the green thing that Gaia had fought after she had been docile.
That was something to further investigate.

Mike and Ethan looked at each other.
"I guess I have work to do," Mike said.
"Yes. Fucking monsters," Ethan growled. "I'm going for some practice shooting." He glanced around but didn't see Gaia anywhere. Where had she flown off to? He shrugged, it didn't really matter.

Steph face went deep red, her horns glowed a slow blue before suddenly flooding with a light pink before fading to a deep red.
Oh god... Why do I feel so... safe She mumbled in her mind, she nodded once at his words, almost hypnotized.

"That... That sounds good." She mumbled, stumbling when he released her face. She picked herself up and straightened herself, scrambling to fix up her clothing and fixed her standing, she didn't notice her tail swaying slowly, or how deep red her horns were.

Just... The Agent responded, Just making sure... I thought she was a war beast? But from... What I just witnessed she could have easily been a bodyguard...?

Gaia landed deep in the mountains, landing on all fours with a rumble and a shake of her head. She let out a loud huff as she focused, her features had became a bit more beast-like, something she wasn't used to.
She stood up slowly, stretching her wings out slowly before she looked down at her body.
"What...?" She asked before she shook her head, maybe she just hadn't looked at herself for a while.

She tried to think back to what had just happened, but her mind was hazy.
She moved to settle in the mountains for a while, she felt safe here...

Harriet listened to the voice as it mumbled more words to her before the words and voice died out.
Once again, silence drifted over Harriet's mind, the power still broken and sprawled through her body and mind. Harriet sat in silence for a moment before her eyes slowly opening.

The shadowy ink around her room suddenly disappeared as she opened her eyes; not allowing her to see what had unfolded. As Harriet stood up, she looked around, nothing in the room seemed different, the tendrils left nothing behind.

A small inkling in her mind told her to find a free field for the Voice to return.
What... was that? She thought to herself, moving to write a note for her father in her book. she tapped her fingers gently against the pages as she waited for an answer.
It sounds like you've been gifted with a link to Zarilyn. Sebastrian replied, Don't be afraid, she's a very kind Goddess. She cares for all of the Mortals.
Harriet nodded at the book and scribbled a goodbye before closing the book.

"Let's go," Benjamin said, leading the way back to the mansion. He too needed a moment to let everything sink in and he could use some music to help him with that. And he was certain it would help Steph too.
He looked around to see if he saw Mike somewhere, but when he didn't he figured his friend had gone inside already.
"What kind of music do you like?" he said as he walked to the door with Steph.

Great, this agent starting to doubt. Maybe she was trained to attack certain creatures, she still is unpredictable. We don't know anything about her and we don't know if or when she turns against us. Observe her, but be careful. Don't let her get too close.
Mr. Johnson hoped the text would be enough. Maybe women were too emotional for these kinds of things. At least she had done valuable research, there was no denying that.

Mike had gone to the library, there he would be able to do his research about the dragon demon. And continue his research about Succibi. Whenever he thought about them he thought about Ben and felt a stab of worry. He wanted to believe Steph was harmless, but the evidence was against her, there wasn't any case in which Succibi didn't prey on men.
For now he put it aside and focussed on the dragon demon.

At the same time Ethan was down in the basement doing some target practice.

Steph nodded and quietly followed after Benjamin. She glanced up when he asked what Music she liked, she mulled over the question with a slightly confused look on her face.
"Uh.." She started, thinking before she paused. "I... Don't really know? I just kinda listen to everything." She admitted, "There's not a lot I don't like, bar Country and Metal."
She looked around, part of her wanted to find Harriet or Gaia, but the idea of being with Benjamin on her own filled her mind.

The agent read the text before she looked to where Gaia had taken off to.
Yeah. Probably. She replied back before she slowly heading over to her station and started to pack up now that Gaia had moved on.

Gaia stayed in the mountains quietly, her brain still clogged and hazy- a low buzz echoing from the device, causing her head to be slightly scrambled.
Her ears flicked as she heard footsteps, lifting her head to look straight towards a familiar face. A hunter. Gaia's brain shot, her body went on the defense, watching the male in front of her watch her quietly.
Gaia was readying for anything to happen, before she started to relax, something about the mans eyes caught her attention.

He's not... hostile? She thought with a tilt of her head.
The hunter just watched her for a second, his eyes almost lifeless and glassy. Gaia's ears pricked up as she watched him before he seemed to turn away and walk off.

Harriet looked at her hands as she closed the book, moving to send a text to Duncan and looked around again.
She moved to leave her room, looking around as she did so. She glanced to a few other agents- frowning at the fact they glanced towards her and looked away. Her phone buzzed, she didn't even need to look at it to know that Duncan was outside.

She walked outside with a smile, Duncan stepping out of his car with a small smile.
"You got the files?" Harriet asked with a tilt of her head, Duncan moved and lifted up a file folder with a smile. "Awesome. Shall we?"
Duncan gave a bit of a laugh, "What's gotten into you?" He asked, Harriet glanced back at her Boyfriend as she turned to walk into the building, giving a bit of a wink.
Duncan saw the different spark in her eye, he had been told to look out for this, and he gave a bit of a smirk.

"No country, no metal. Got it." Benjamin grinned as he looked back. "Despite what my instrument is made off, metal is not something I can produce with it, so that's fortunate for you." He went up the stairs, leading the way to his room.
When he entered it he left the door open for Steph and pulled a suitcase from under the bed. He still had no idea what he would play, but he would just improvise something.

Mr. Johnson requested an update from the snipers too, and told them they could stand down again. He had only requested them to protect the agent in case it was needed, but since Gaia had left they had no reason to stay on the roof.
They too reported Gaia had attacked something, even in her docile state she had reacted. They also reported how the agent had approached Gaia when she was in her docile state. Mr. Johnson wasn't sure how he felt about that, maybe it was just the inquisitive nature of the agent, but he would keep an eye on her.
