How long do you usually write?
One to two to several paragraphs
Do you enjoy writing collaborative posts for things like conversations, combat, etc.?
Yes
Is grammar and depth of writing important to you?
Yes, to the point of understanding. I'm not a Nazi about it, but I want to be able to understand it without struggling.
Are there any writing subjects you particularly enjoy exploring?
Grey shade stories. I like showing different sides of a single coin and exploring character development.
Is there anything you really dislike and want to avoid like the plague?
Auto-killing and god-modding my character.
Is there something you are uncomfortable with happening to your character?
For this one, I'm pretty all right with most things. As long as you check with me first of course.
Do you have any short-term or long-term goals with this character?
Short term
I didn’t have a Jedi character or a less traumatized character. So I made Lo to fill in that role, hoping to write out her journey from start to end as a Jedi. I also wanted to give the players of Master Dominik a little padawan to heal the hole his first one left with his death. I do hope someone scars her during her journey into the galaxy.
Long Term
The only long term goals I have are getting Lo up to at least Knight and maybe Master eventually. If anyone has ideas or wants to include her in their own individual plots, I would love it. Even if you just need a rival Jedi to counter and challenge your Sith at key milestones.
Notes
For now, these are the baseline of what I knew for sure. As she grows and develops, her CS will alter and reflect that. Including new flaws or strengths and skills.

Short description of the Jedi.
Lo considers herself pretty average in looks for her race. She is a young Bothan and she looks like a younger version of the adults, her body having an athletic build. Her height is about 5’1”, the tallest she will likely ever get. A long, canine-like snout dips from her face with neatly trimmed beard along her chin and jawline. Her ears are long and end at a narrow tip. Long brown fur flows around her head, tied back into a ponytail at the bottom of her neckline. Her Padawan braid dangles at the right side of her face and ending just underneath the jaw. The same colored fur covers her body in a shorter fashion. It has a tendency to betray her emotional state by flattening, bristling or puffing out. She has eyes as green as the grass on a perfect day.
Her usual garments are the traditional padawan uniform in a tan and brown color. This consists of the inner tunic, tabard, sash, belt, trousers and boots. Nothing really fancy and appear have some wear and tear.

Talent
Force Healing- While at H’Ratth, Lo learned she had a natural knack for healing. At this small display of talent, the Jedi instructors felt it was a skill worth developing for her. Her force healing is at a basic level and requires heavy concentration to maintain it. With education and experience, it could become a valuable skill for her.
Force Sense- Lo is sensitive to changes in the world around her. She is quick to pick up on danger aimed at her and noted to react much sooner than her peers. With time, this could turn into an ability to sense other force users.
Simplified report on other known skills and estimated levels, including lightsaber training
Basic
Training
Shii-Cho
Ataru
Martial Arts- This is one of her weaker skill sets compared to her Force abilities. While she has the stamina and ability to fight, she lacks confidence in it. This affects her assertiveness in defending her position and she second-guesses her instinct. Mistakes happen to leave her open to counters, disarms, and more in combat.
Survival Skills- The best thing that Lo got out of these lessons were what herbs and plants would heal. This was the main reason she actually developed an interest in it and it stuck in her head. Now she can survive in nearly any environment for long periods of time.
Basics of Republic History- Lo finds it hard to recall her lessons over Republic history. It wasn’t the fact she didn’t pay attention, but she held no interest in it. At least, she got a general idea that the Republic was worth protecting and assisting.
Talent
Basics in Speeders and Starship piloting (including navigation) - She took to the basics in speeders and starship piloting well. Not only did she love the adrenaline rush and wind in her fur, but she was also good at it.
Medical Knowledge- Due to H’Ratth’s specialty in Healing, Lo has gained basic knowledge and experience in how to treat others. This is one of the lessons that Lo gravitated toward and enjoyed learning about. Seeing this, a few instructors encouraged and helped develop her basics. This included natural healing and with the force.
Other
High Stamina/Energy- Like many youngsters, Lo has high levels of energy and gives everything her all. This can lead to good and bad things.
Quick report on political influence, associates and rivals.
Lo is just edging into the life of a Padawan learner under Jedi Master Dominik Rothul. So these are rather limited or non-existent right now.
Psychological evaluation of Jedi Order member.
Report from Jedi Teacher, Arv Typhis:
Out of most of the initiates, Lo is considered timid and reserved for her age. When she finally warms up to an individual, she has a very social and curious nature. On a subject she’s interested in, Lo will ask many questions to learn everything she can about it. She is opened with those who approach her, both through her words and because of her fur. Most of the other initiates and Jedi describe her to be rather energetic and positive when given a task. A miracle of youth, I suppose. Another notable trait of hers is her ability to care for others. She has no issue putting her safety to the side and protecting others. An admirable quality. Even in the worst moments of her training, she tries her best to follow instructions.

Personality
Report from H’Ratth Jedi, Hyrus Thorne:
Lo has patience when she sees results. When a stagnant situation arises, she becomes stressed and impulsive. She feels the need to fix things even when it’s not in her skill range. While admirable, this can impair her better judgment. A flaw that needs tempering with the right teacher. The second flaw is her curiosity. It’s a double-edged blade. In a negative way, she asks question after question to gain insight on a topic. She can be overwhelming since she rarely seems to run out of questions and tends to interrupt some times. The most concerning issue is her lack of confidence in herself. She will question her abilities and create mistakes, especially in conversation. I believe with time and encouragement, she will overcome this.
Physical
High Spikes of Energy- Her one known weakness is that she struggles to pace it out her energy. This causes her to crash hard when she runs dry.
Major achievements and failures on record.
Learned Ataru basics.
Learning and assisting to heal the sick/wounded under supervision.
Passing her Initiate Trials.
Becoming a Padawan under Master Rothul.
Personal biography, as detailed by the candidate for use in Jedi archives. Acquired shortly after the last achievement of note.
Report from H’Ratth Jedi, Hyrus Thorne:
Due to Lo Lya'Tre's young age, I'm going to sit in and retell what we've discovered of her history.
*clears throat before he begins*
Hosk and Asy Lya’Tre betrothed at an early age. Their clans were allies within bothawai politics, enabling them to grow up together. Naturally, they developed a mutual love between them. This pleased both clans as it strengthens their alliance. About three years later, Lo was born during 3653 BBY. She was a strong, healthy example of her race. It made both of them proud.
As the war drew on, Hosk found himself wanting to become involved. He contacted SIS and began to work undercover. Over the next few years, they established his cover in the Empire. The SIS records showed Hosk had been employed in the sphere of Military Strategy. From there, he gradually rose through the ranks. Whenever he could, he fed intel back to SIS. However, an unknown source leaked information to the Empire. When they suspected his treason, he fled. Realizing his end was near, Hosk managed to send a message to his wife.
Meanwhile, during his time in the Empire, Asy had raised their daughter on Toydaria. A planet in Hutt Space filled with temperate forests and swamps. Despite its location, the planet was uneventful. It was a neutral place in the political storm between the Republic and Empire. Ays wanted to remain as isolated from the war as possible despite her husband choosing otherwise.
When Ays received Hosk’s last message, she feared the Empire would dig into her husband's travel logs. He made a few secretive trips to the planet in order to keep in contact with his family. She immediately contacted the only ally she knew from her husband's past. A Jedi named Master Dominik Rothul. If anyone could help her, she hoped he would.
As expected, the Empire was already tracking Hosk’s activity. They found the trips made to Toydaria. A team was gathered and sent to investigate, hoping to root out more SIS agents there.
Master Rothul and his Padawan arrived first, entering Ays’ home. She began to explain what happened to Hosk as they figured out her options. While playing with his Padawan, Lo got angry. She used telekinesis and threw a block at Padawan Evin’s head. Ays’s figure stiffened when her daughter showed her force sensitivity. Dominik attempted to convince her what was best for both of them. Then the Jedi sensed a disturbance in the force. A young Sith apprentice with a large squadron approached the small, modest house.
When the conflict broke out, Lo became scared and took off into the forest. Ays shot after Lo. When the two Jedi found them, Lo struggled against an Imperial trooper. It is unclear if they knew she was force sensitive, but her fate with the Empire wouldn't be good.
Again, Dominik and Evin came to the rescue dispatching those who threatened her. When the fighting died down, any family left to Lo was gone. Her mother had been shot before the fight broke out. The child shifted away from the master while she cried on her mother’s dead body. Master Rothul and Evin finally took her to H’Ratth.
Lo took some time to adjust to the Jedi life. Whenever she asked about her parents, we would tell her they were now one with the force. Being told this for some time healed her sorrow. She knew that they would always be with her. During the first few years, Lo began her path on how to become a Jedi. She learned to cooperate, communicate, and meditate alongside other initiates. She grew to see us as a family. When she wasn't connecting with other initiates or working hard at her lessons, she seemed to enjoy exploring her new home. She soon learned practical lessons, martial arts, and low power saber practice. Lo seemed to excel at predicting the shots coming in at her, but her saber skills needed improvement.
Around 10, she leaned into Ataru. She seemed to have boundless energy for the former making it a good choice for her. It was also around this stage that Lo showed her desire to help and treat patients. It started off small with changing bed sheets or bring food. It progressed into helping in changing bandages, studying herbs and brightening patients' moods. We encouraged to develop this trait to care for other over herself. During her free time, she developed hobbies from her lessons. This ranged from speeder bike races to restocking our supply with fresh flowers or herbs.
The Initiate trials were something she grew anxious about at the age of 13. Lo worried she might fail and never make it to padawan, a fact we felt wasn’t true. She passed her wisdom trial easily. She had a good understanding and a heartfelt belief in the code for which the Jedi stood for. I was very pleased, being the instructor on the lesson. I tried not to give nothing away. Her trial of skill was much harder. Mostly she struggled to recall where all the pieces went. Her final trial required that she resolve a dispute between two individuals. One was a merchant and the other a man accused of theft. She nearly failed this one because she took so long to brave speaking to either of them. When she did, she still had her struggles. She said what she thought rather than thinking bout it first. Eventually, she discovered the real thief was a small lizard-like monkey creature. He had timed his crime at the right moment.
Once her trials finally finished, we contacted Master Rothul and now she is to be picked up soon.
