Outside of schoolwear, Chihara loves wearing girly, frilly types of clothing that are always brimming with color. During the warm summer months, she can be wearing bright skirts and dresses. During the cold and wet seasons, she wears pastel-colored scarves, coats, pants, and sweaters.
[Personality]
A shy and golden-hearted individual, Chihara is often praised for her selfless nature. She enjoys helping others in whichever way she can, even at her own expense. Not only is she a helpful lass, but she is also quite adept in science and math, which has led classmates to approach her for help in their studies. She prefers to stay out of trouble and maintains one or two close friends, but even then she does not go out with them much. In fact, she seems overly timid, even in the presence of those she knows well.
Chihara has a tough time in standing up for herself, even when she has been wronged or blamed for something she didn't do. She much rather duck her head and apologize for her "mistakes" than argue with someone she looks up to or someone that she considers a superior. It is also fairly easy to guilt Chihara into doing something if they play their act well.

[Personal Background]
Chihara's childhood was a decent one; as doctors, her parents had to spend much time out of the house, but they always made sure to give their only daughter as much attention as they could. They bought her toys, kept her well-fed, and spoiled her to no end. Despite getting a more-than-decent first few years of her life, she was taught to also help others in whatever way that she could. Chihara would help her neighbors out with minuscule things and often ran deliveries and the such for them.
Both the Great East Japan Earthquake and the subsequent invasion of the nation by America left Chihara's parents busier than before. She was used to it, but being caught in the midst of a very scary situation frightened her. What if her parents never came back home? What if there were airstrikes near where they worked? But her parents were fine. They always came home and Chihara would never have to deal with the fear of losing them in some sort of freak accident.
The first few years of high school were difficult for Chihara, mostly because she had a difficult type adapting to the new environment. As a first year, she was often bullied for being too quiet and she purposely isolated herself from any classmates that she had. This all changed at end of her first year, where two classmates came to her in desperation. They wanted her to help them pass their exams, and since she was so smart in math and science, they believed that she could help. She didn't have the heart to turn them down, seeing as her father and mother had taught her to help anyone who asked. The girl agreed to help them out, and with that, her classmates found her a little more tolerable; they finally discovered that she was of use.
Ever since, Chihara has been seen as the person to go to if you need help with homework. She'll definitely lend a hand.
