Backstory: Alex was raised in a military family. His father being a marine, because of this he moved around often and never lived anywhere for very long. becasue he was always moving it was easy to make friends fast but at the same time he never got close to people as he knew he would be gone in a few years and probably never see them ever again, preventing him from making deep connections with people and even to this day. His father also taught him how to shoot, fight and even fix cars. When he turned 18 the choice was easy, he joined in the USMC.

Boot camp was easy for him, considering he kept him self physically fit and most of it was physical training and shooting, both of which he was already very good at. His Military career was nothing spectacular but he scored high marks on all of his Evals and received MPs(Must Promote) Every time. Becasue of this he put in a package for Sniper Scout school. Later he was picked up for the program, but this is when problems started to arise. During a Psych eval he was Diagnosed as a Rational Sociopath. This meant that he didn't feel guilt but a rational mind keeps him in check(Basically he functions completely normal but he simply doesn't form deep bonds with people). This put his acceptance into into sniper scout school on hold while he was evaluated.

After months of sitting around he finally got word, after evaluation it was deemed that he was not only fit for duty, but his "condition" made him a better candidate as he could preform with out hesitation or remorse. This left a bad taste in his mouth. Soon enough though he had finished his school with top marks and high evaluation, learning survival and . The rest of his career started to shift after sniper school though. That mark on his record fallowed him though, COs always giving him the "you better watch where you aim that rifle" talk. Treating him as if he was some kind of ticking time bomb that would start shooting up his only men, This started to show in his evals as they were purposefully understating his performance. This lead to frustration and eventually out burst into anger from Alex. So instead he left, once his contract was up he left the marines.

A few months out of the military and that black mark kept fallowing him. having trouble finding a job because of it. Despite that though his skills were un-questionable and was approached by a man in a suit. He was given an opportunity to join into this "division" and his black mark would be removed. So of course he accepted, never thinking anything would ever really happen anyways so it was a win for him, he was even allowed to keep military grade weapons, seeing as he had trouble getting any in civilian life. After that he was stationed in New york, even worked out of a small garage at the base of an apartment building

NPCs: , A 12 year old girl with black hair and green eyes,standing at 4'5 and a petite build. Despite her name there is no relation between the two. Her family was killed by the virus and Alex found her wondering the streets before taking him in, He isn't even sure if that his her last name, but she was shaken up when he found her and when he showed up with her he simply Said the name. As she started to get better and he asked her what her name was she only smiled at him Replying "Claudia Highstone" So he watched kept watch over her and takes care of her.

Backstory:
Annie was born in New England to a well off family, her father, a lawyer thought her self defense and gun skills from the age of 16 to "protect herself". With little interest in the high class lifestyle, and more of a tomboy, Annie moved to NewYork at 18 to study medicine in Columbia University, ironically still being funded by her parents. She finished her pre-med at 22 and has since worked as a nurse in Roosevelt Hospital. She met Dr. Austin Bello in the hospital and quickly got engaged, much to the annoyance of her family. Instead of the usual engagement ring, Austin gave her a golden necklace with their names engraved on it, the necklace is always in her possession.

When the outbreak began all medical staff were rushed to the hospital but upon seeing the gravity of the situation, nursing staff were deemed unnecessary and Annie was sent to the Central Park Quarantine zone. Separated from Austin, Annie waited the next few days hoping to hear word of his safety, but no information was given. On day 4 she lost all trust in the military personnel as riots within the quarantine zone became frequent over rations. She left central park under the cover of darkness on night 4 after stealing a riot shotgun, a glock and some medical supplies, in hopes of finding Austin and escaping to New England.

A native New Yorker, Austin is regarded highly in the medical world due to his selfless work in poor areas of Africa and the Middle East, as well as more recently staying behind in the hospital when it seemed as if all is lost.
