Arlo stands at 6'1'' and approximately weighs 160 lbs. His eyes are a deep brown that broaches almost black. With equally dark brown hair a few inches past his collar bone, he tends to wear it up. His overall style leans towards looking like a pothead (much to his parents' and the school board's dismay). Knit sweaters, stained jeans, beanies, ancient Chucks, etc. He'll be the first to admit he's a cliche, but he's comfortable.

Personality
𝙇𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚 ✰ 𝙃𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙩 ✰ 𝙄𝙣𝙛𝙡𝙚𝙭𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙚 ✰ 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙚
Upon first meeting Arlo, he comes across as a "woe is me"-type of guy. In fact, he's quite the opposite. Granted, melancholy is a cemented aspect to his personality, but it definitely is not what he wants to be known for. Most of his friends would, in fact, say that he's incredibly, annoyingly honest. Arlo would agree; he prides himself on it. He thinks this is what will make him a great psychologist.
People close to Arlo would say that he's fun to be around, but it took a while for that aspect of his personality to come through. He can be funny, even wild, but he stays reserved. He doesn't want to put anyone off because of his personality. However, he often won't bend on his views (which he realizes is hypocritical, but he believes there's a difference in changing and bending to someone else's will).
Arlo can be hard to love for these reasons (as his sister, Sheridan, will tell you), but he attempts to make it worth it. To those he loves, he's immensely kind, heartfelt, and genuine with. He'll go with the flow, crack a smile for someone else's benefit, and give it to someone straight.
Family
Harrold Caesar (48, Father)
➣Harrold used to be known as a "stand-up guy", honest like Arlo, but this was all a facade. Perhaps Arlo had caught onto it sooner, all things considering, but now the rest of the world knows that Harrold is a fraud. Currently in prison, Harrold is known for fraud and misleading investors.
➣However, he didn't start out this way. In the '80s, Harrold Caesar formed his own brokerage firm, Patronage Financial, on Wall Street. It took nearly a decade before he finally made his first million. Now, he's one of the leading brokers, amassing billions each year.
➣Concerning his relationship with Arlo, it's nonexistent. They were close when Arlo was a child, but, as he grew older, he became the place where Harrold could express his frustrations, physically and mentally. Arlo doesn't know why he was chosen as the one to pick one, perhaps it was because he wasn't gifted. He was this constant reminder that money doesn't make anyone special; people are just normal, despite Harrold thinking he could buy an interesting character with money.
Winona Long-Caesar (43, Mother)
➣The kinder of the pair of parents, Winona is currently lost with her husband in prison and her son running the firm. Like Arlo, she's never overly invested in wealth and the amount that she's amassed. Her relationships with her children and husband are the most important. However, she's not doing a bang-up job of it (at least, in the eyes of her youngest children). She's out of it, to the fullest extent: unable to get out of bed and unresponsive to her children. She scarily has lost all interest, and it's left them no choice but to seek in-patient assistance.
Everest Caesar (25, Twin)
➣With Winona in the hospital and Harrold in prison, everything has fallen on Everest. Well, this is not true. The company has fallen on him, but Arlo has taken over any of the family "b*llshit" (in the words of Everest). He's the much less understanding of the pair, despite it being his fault that Harrold's in prison.
➣In an attempt to prove his worth, Everest is the one who began to upsell the companies they represented. He's the one who set up relationships between the firm and several manufacturing companies, who paid Patronage Financial to mislead the investors. Classic fraud that resulted in millions more gained for the firm. Through his guileful work, Everest ruined several thousands of people's financial portfolios and lives. Now, he's ruining the company, which miraculously remains alive. By Harrold falling on the sword for his son, the full breadth of the company's fraudulence was never revealed (though many people have left the company).
Sheridan Caesar (19, Sister)
➣The person Arlo is the closest to within the family and in the entire world. As a kind, idyllic person, Sheridan has an intoxicating sense of optimism. She's what Arlo wishes he could be: undyingly supportive, friendly, likable, and sweet. Sheridan is light-hearted and fun-loving. She throws a party nearly every weekend, and she's a fantastic person to get drunk with or simply go to CVS with.
➣However, Sheridan has an addictive personality. She's unable to stop partying, really, and she's fantastic at hiding it. One could probably find her in the bathroom before class, doing a line or taking a hit off her Juul. Her parties are just ingenious cover-ups for her inability to stop. However, she's coming closer and closer to coming undone, and it's becoming harder to keep it covered up.
Past
Given his family's intricacies (to be it nicely), Arlo has often been slow compared to his siblings. His twin, Everest, graduated two years earlier than expected due to the plethora of AP classes. Sheridan is a girl-genius, becoming famous for her collage portraits when she was only ten. She really only goes to university to have a degree to back up her skills. There's nothing particularly special about Arlo, and he likes it this way. He doesn't mind that he should've already graduated from University, but he's only a 2nd year. He's fine with drifting through life in his own way. Hell, the Caesar way of doing things doesn't seem to really be working out, so maybe the Arlo way will be better?
Arlo hasn't always been connected to the rest of the family. He recently was reconnected to Winona and Everest because of Harrold going to prison. For the past ten years, Arlo hadn't talked to his family outside of Sheridan or, more recently, with their once-a-month family dinners (Harrold and Winona are paying for his education, so it seems to be a fair trade-off). After a final, one-sided fistfight with his father, Arlo refused to withstand being a punching bag. At 15, Arlo left home and lived with his high school friends, moving from couch to couch. After one of their moms reported him to CPS, Arlo found himself in a group home. Lena, the group home supervisor, became one of his closest allies, despite being the same age as his mom. Although it was difficult getting along with the several personalities within the home, Arlo left on good terms, and he still goes to visit with Lena whenever he finds himself in New York.
