<Snipped quote by Meta>
In a few hours, but when we set the stage, it will begin shortly. There are many people already inside.
*a scouter like device slowly appears on my face*
Almost full to be exact.
And you're sure you want to do this?

*Stares ahead for several seconds and then blinks*
...I'm sorry, I do not understand. Is it like drugs?
<Snipped quote by Zeal>
And you're sure you want to do this?
<Snipped quote by Meta>
Got stage fright?
<Snipped quote by Legend>
*Laughs*
No, no! It’s more like accomplishing an important task. And for people, it’s especially rewarding when a task is completed that is for the good of the body’s health.
<Snipped quote by Zeal>
That's one way of putting it.
<Snipped quote by Meta>
You will be fine. Don’t worry about me too.
*looks at the building*
Lemme set up the place first, will only take me ten minutes.
<Snipped quote by Intrepid>
But if it slows you down, why do people do it? Do humans also starve themselves so it feels better to eat?
<Snipped quote by Legend>
It feels better to do it because it feels horrible to not.
<Snipped quote by Intrepid>
We're still talking about pride in not sleeping enough, right?
<Snipped quote by Legend>
Pride in not sleeping enough? Oh, I didn’t know that’s what you were getting at. I think that’s just a thing because it makes some people feel tougher or more productive than people who sleep more than they do.
<Snipped quote by Intrepid>
I was looking at it from a sleep deprivation angle the whole time.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
Sorry, sorry. I just misunderstood, then.
<Snipped quote by Intrepid>
I'm also still not getting past the idea that your ability to process goes down. It's like something you'd find in a dystopian horror.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
I guess, maybe. It might seem that way for someone who’s looking in from the outside, but it really just feels like a natural occurrence.
<Snipped quote by Intrepid>
Wouldn't you want to do anything possible to prevent it?
<Snipped quote by Legend>
That’s what stuff like coffee is for.
<Snipped quote by Intrepid>
I've heard of that, and I understand how caffeine work biologically, but what exactly does it feel like?
<Snipped quote by Legend>
Energizing? I dunno the best way to put it, but it definitely heightens your senses and makes you feel more energetic... You mentioned drugs earlier, though. Caffeine does kind of fit that bill. A chemical we ingest to achieve an intended feeling and effect.
<Snipped quote by Intrepid>
I don't know how I feel about that. But I also get that it's different than something like cocaine.
