Personality: Drazen is pretty laid back overall when not battling with his Pokemon. He tends to try and enjoy life to the fullest. He does tend to get in trouble once in a while however due to his somewhat rebellious attitude towards certain teal haired authority figures in his home region of Johto.

History: Drazen grew up in Blackthorn city in Johto to a single mother. His father decided that the family would be better off without him shortly after finding out he was going to be a father. His mother did her best to provide a loving home for him as she did her best to cover her shifts at the Pokemart. Still, with a number of friends in Blackthorn helping out as best they could looking after the young man, Drazen was able to live a fairly normal life and grew up happy as could be. A few weekds before he was supposed to receive his first Pokemon he was taking a walk near the edge of Blackthorn City when he heard a distressed screeching sound coming from a nearby cavern. After grabbing a flashlight and running towards the cavern, he saw a small pale green Larvitar being roughly thrown out of the Cavern by a very angry Machoke. Despite being nearly scared speechless by the sight of the rampaging fighting type Pokemon, Drazen grabbed the injured Larvitar and bolted back towards Blackthorn City with the Machoke in hot pursuit. After several close calls and dodging various boulders and a Geodude being thrown at the two of them, they were met at the gates of Blackthorn by Clair, the Gym Leader who proceeded to release her Gyarados who sent the Machoke running with a Hyper Beam attack.

After confirming that the young man was alright and escorting Drazen to the Pokemon Center, Clair returned to the Gym and Drazen was left with the slowly recovering Larvitar. it took a few days for the ground type Pokemon to fully recover and it took three weeks for the two of them to form a bond with each other. When the time finally came for Drazen to choose his starter Pokemon, he instead chose to stick with the Larvitar he had rescued. At the age of fourteen, he finally left Blackthorn City and began traveling the various regions. His goal at first wasn't to beat the various Pokemon Champions or take down the Gym Leaders, but rather he wanted to sample the different foods. After a number of years of traveling and various encounters with different trainers and different Pokemon he ultimately decided to travel to the Orre Region and investigate the Orre Colosseum league.

Reason for traveling to Orre: investigate the Region and look into taking on the Orre Colosseum league
