The life of a pirate is nothing to be ashamed of; there’s a mix of adventure, respect, rebellion and freedom even though there is hardships that come with hardships from the time to time. But for the times that are hard, there are times that are great. Alistar left his home on the land when he was 16 years old, refusing to follow the rules of society and soon found himself in the property of a ship thanks to his charisma and fair (yes fair) victory of a card game. No one dared waste a bullet on him when he outwitted the cheater and won the cheater’s ship and crew.
Venturing into the world the young man found a woman he was sure he would spend the rest of his life with, chasing the sun, rubbing some ships and enjoying a peaceful life on the seas and at the pirate’s collective getaway where he and his crew had built their lives.
That was until one day… the Captain of the Guard at one of the port cities who had been chasing him for years caught him and his ship. Before he could be hung as a pirate his wife saved him and in the end, scarified herself for his freedom dying at the end of the barrel of the Captain. Devastated and enraged Alistar was drug back to his ship and tied to the mast until he calmed down, his crew knowing this was the best course of action for Alistar to regain his composure.
Four years and many returned in disguise trips back to the port where the Captain lived, Alistar decided to take his revenge. After learning about the Captain on a personal level thanks to bribery, infantry and research, he learned there was one thing the Captain loved more than hunting down the young pirate and that… that was his daughter… and soon, he would understand what it was like to have something so precious ripped away from him.
