@vancexentan Ah, I thought we weren't supposed to say that stuff yet. It's the battleship Yamato conflated with Admiral Yamamoto, with a little bit of modern anime skewing perceptions of the legend thrown in.

@The 42nd Gecko I'm a bit iffy on characters that far up in history while a somewhat valid character for the class of rider i'm not sure he'd fit in as an archer. He did have military training but he didn't personally fire his weapons. More so a lot of his feats are centered in naval combat and unlike say Drake, or Blackbeard doesn't have much in the way of physical combat as both of the previous were pirates. Nor is a he traditional sort. If you want to keep rolling with Yamamoto you're free to try but he'll be hampered as only one or two of my currently planned scenarios have a place where water will particularly prevalent theme one of them being in England. Meaning he'll end up as more liable person than not as a servant. If you particularly want an archer style servant may I suggest Holmes, Billy the Kid, Paris, Touta, or Tristan?

I was planning on drawing Yamato as the primary character, not Yamamoto, a bit like how Red Hare is the Rider aspect of Lu Bu instead of there being a Rider Lu Bu.

Red Hare the rider has the issue of being from the lost belts. Its not a usually summon able servant in its form just like Ivan would need a rework to be a standard servant berserker, or rider not withstanding. In this case you saying you'd be summoning the ship. That wouldn't be how summoning works in specific in normal human history like chapter 1 of FGO. It'd be like if the Queen Anne's revenge somehow was summoned instead of blackbeard.

@The 42nd GeckoAlright feel free to throw out ideas that's what I'm here for. But in case you didn't see I did give you a handful of archers from the wiki that I think should be passable as you seem to be wanting to play archer a lot. Holmes, Billy the Kid, Paris, Touta, or Tristan were the ones recommended. All varying degrees of power, or skill.

I have a personal dislike of Holmes, I've already overused the cowboy aesthetic in my character roster, and the rest don't involve guns.

Well then your only real option if you really want a gun is someone from the revolutionary period of China, Japan, America, or France. With a musket like Davy Crockett, or Daniel Morgan. This is the archer class not the gunner class after all. There aren't too many others maybe Bonnie, and Clyde? There are ww 1, and 2 snipers but they're far recent and would get crushed by older servants. Strength comes primarily from how old the servants are so guys like Andrew Jackson while formidable would still be fighting people like Roland who fought armies, and blew up cliffs.

@The 42nd Gecko

Why not do the gunner half of Anne Bonny and Mary Reid?

I had an ability on Yamato that more or less meant, "I will never hit an enemy with my guns." and her Agility more or less meant she would take every oncoming attack ever straight to the face unless they're as bad at aiming as her. I'm not too worried about losing.

Well hits from people recently mean they have poor body condition Billy won't be taking a shot from say a dozen knives from Hassan of the Cursed arm too well with an endurance of E for example. And he was a trained outlaw.

If a servant dies in a singularity that's fine but they can't be re summoned until people are returned to Chaldea. @Lonewolf685 I think made a good suggestion by making tweaks to the yuri pirates to make them less summer fan service style.

Question, if we aren't in a Holy Grail War, why do Masters have command seals?

Fate Grand Order Masters, or Chaldea Agents, use command seals to both keep servants under control if need be but also to heal, revive exhausted servants, force teleportation, and other such. Its a tool to keep servants in action longer, or to give them magical buffs. For example

Regardless of all the above it still is a carry over from the standard summoning system.

@The 42nd Gecko no guns, but if you want a tank, Ajax the great is perfect.

So would be Master's be limited to humans or could Golems, humunculi, Dead Apostles, assorted chimeric creation with sentience, etc. also be on the B-Team?

Humans, and designer babies likes Irisviel, and Mash are allowed to be masters. They have to be sentient, and not a threat to humanity.

Well no people have stated interest, and no one have asked any questions. If I started now with you, lonewolf, and if Gecko actually decides to join I can try to make an OOC but the only person as a master would be mine as no one else has said they wanted to be a master. I'd be fine if Anakin still said he wanted to join but I'm unsure about that given our misunderstanding on the first page.
