With black hair and light grey eyes, Kazuhiko has inherited many of the traits common to his clan, including being lean and tall. He currently stands at 5’4” and sports a frown more often than not, but eventually he’ll grow to a lean and imposing 6’3”. For day-to-day wear he tends towards darker colors and can often be found in black shirts and shorts, his clan sign white on his back.
Chakra type — Lightning: Kazuhiko’s aptitude for lightning chakra transformations was met with delight by his clan, which—though largely tending towards wind chakra transformations—possessed a fair number of lightning users as well, largely among the most notable of the clan. As such, Kazuhiko’s affinity for lightning became just another point on the long list of why he was obviously the destined heir to the Taketori clan.
Kekkei Genkai: The sensaigan is a delicate tool that requires no small amount of time and effort to hone, and this suits Kazuhiko perfectly. As someone content to grind away to correct the smallest of details, he fits the bill of a future sensaigan master perfectly, as everyone enjoys telling him. For him, though, the sensaigan is simply a tool he’s always possessed, and he doesn’t question it much. He is a Taketori, and the Taketori are sensaigan wielders, utilizing wind and lightning jutsus in ways dictated by their kekkei genkai. They strike fast and true, and Kazuhiko will no doubt do the same when the time comes.
Biography: Kazuhiko’s genius was clear at an early age, and he was quickly wrapped into a life revolving around this fact. Every day was another chance to improve himself, to achieve his “true potential,” and he never questioned it. His parents were proud of him, as were the other members of his clan, and even those outside of his clan looked on him with respect and admiration. With all of this to shape him, he did his best to live up to the title of ‘genius,’ and he quickly rose to become one of the best students at the academy. Often competing for the title of “smartest student” with the dedicated Nara who maintains a precarious hold on the title, he’s undoubtedly one of the most talented students in his age group, and from an outsider’s perspective his life seems to be a smooth progression of achievement.
Personality: Being of the quiet, pensive disposition, Kazuhiko is more used to talking to adults than his peers, often accompanying his father to clan meetings. As an only child in a quiet household, he’s used to silence and being alone with his thoughts, though his father is always close by. Having spent all his life honing his skills, he’s confident in his abilities, and he prefers to believe that his continued advancements are a result of his training rather than natural-born talent. He sees his eventual rise as clan leader as a fact, given that he’s indisputably the best candidate for heir at the moment, and he lives as he believes is fit for this duty. Though he has lived much of his life with the clan elders and adults speaking for him, he has found himself disagreeing with some of their methods and thoughts, though he cannot imagine speaking up quite yet, much less opposing them. For now, he’s focusing on training himself to be the best heir he can be since he will no doubt have time to direct change once he succeeds his uncle as clan head.
