Eli waved to Veronica as Marcus spoke about him. He looked back to Rose before he moved to gently tap Marcus on the shoulder.
"Marcus. Sir." He started, "This is Rosellia."

Rose looked to Marcus with a big smile, "I...I want to thank you for saving me." She said quietly, She didn't want to interrupt the conversation between the two old friends.
Eli looked back to her with a small smile and sent off a text towards Max to tell him to head towards the Med-bay. "Max is on his way here too." He said with a grin as he looked up towards Marcus again.

"Rosellia..."

Marcus paused for a moment after hearing that name, before she looked towards him with a big smile, thanking him.

"Anytime. We're just lucky we got there before they took you away. If it's not too much trouble, can you remember anything before you were unconscious?"
"Seems you have quite the group on your hands, Marcus. Wouldn't of taken you for the leader type. Where's your boss?"
"Just comes naturally after going through literal hell and back. Boss is down the way to the right."
"Got it. Stay safe you guys. It's living hell out there."

Veronica then walked out of the med-bay and proceeded to the boss's quarters.

"Didn't even wait to meet Max. Must be in a hurry."

Eli watched Veronica leave before he looked back to Marcus and Rose.
"I'm guessing a long extensive history sir?" He asked with a smile before Max entered the room and stood beside Eli. Eli moved his hand to gently take Maxs' before he smiled to him.
Max gave a small smile before he looked to Marcus and Rose. "You must be Rose." He said with a bigger smile before he looked to Marcus. "Eli mentioned you had a friend here?"

The Boss, known solely as 'Jack', had leaned back in his chair once Marcus had left. His eyes focused on the map across the room. He had a scowl over his head before he looked towards the door as he heard footsteps.
He looked at his planner and furrowed his brow, he had no one lined up to see him. Maybe Marcus was bringing Rosellia for him to meet?

"I wouldn't say long. We've bumped into each other every now and then but the more connecting moment was a shake-down in Afghanistan. Saved her life when she was ambushed. Guess she owes me."

Marcus stated to Eli before turning towards Max.

"He did, but you just missed her. Anyways, Rose?"

Turning towards Rose with a smile as he grabbed a chair and sat down.

"Can you remember anything before you were unconscious? It was strange to find you within a alien ship-wreck."

Meanwhile Veronica made her way to Jack's office and knocked at the door.

"Hey, you the boss? I'd like to have a meeting with you."

Max frowned softly, "I'm sure we'll meet at some point, right?" He asked as he glanced to Eli, who nodded. Both of them moved to pull up a chair to listent o Rose as she cleared her throat to speak.

"I... Don't remember much." She admitted quietly, "I remember small bits from my childhood, flashes of colour, weird phrases of words in a different language. A lot of bug-creatures, a massive hive with a even bigger alien beast inside it." She continued, trying to wrack her brain. "I think... They had me for some sort of... experiment? They mentioned my father... There was this soft humming that made everything just feel.. numb... At home."

Jack nodded to her words as she entered.
"Aye, that I am." He said, looking at her clothing with a bit of a frown. "How can I help you Miss...?"

Marcus listened intently to Rose as she described what she last remembered. Seemed like those Aliens tried to make her feel at home so she'd be less resistant against their experiments.

"Your father... Well, you're safe here from them. I won't let them take you again, you have my word."

"My name's Veronica. A member of Marcus's squad picked me up when I passed out outside the camp. I'd like to ask for a favor."

Veronica took a seat and looked towards Jack.

"I'd like to formally join Marcus's group. The extra man or woman in my case, will prove a lot more beneficial with more numbers out there. I'm just thankful to be here after being stranded for so long fighting on my own."

"Thank you." Rose said to Marcus before she looked to Eli and Max, noticing their hands before she looked back to Marcus again. "You saved my life, and now I owe you one." She said with a soft tilt of her head.

She thought for a moment as Eli and Max just watched.
"We could... Always use new members?" Max quietly said, looking towards Marcus. Eli nodded.
"Yeah, we're one of the smallest squads with just us three, especially after Jeffery-" Eli started before Max punched his arm, _{"Ow okay..."}

Jack watched the woman closely, raising an eyebrow as she mentioned about joining Marcus' group.
"The numbers would be good." Jack started before he furrowed his brow, "But dealing with Marcus is a lot of trouble, as I'm sure you know." He crossed his arms as he leaned back in his chair. He closed his eyes for a moment before reopening them.

"But I was taught never to turn down a good fighter." Jack said as he moved to grab something from under his desk, pulling out a contract and a pen. "If you want to officially sign, there's this paperwork." He gestured to the paper with a slow blink, "Of course there's the issue about getting you some new clothes, same with the girl. But I'm sure the female agents won't mind offering clothes."
