Lyida Smiles as she slows down a bit then speeds up after the first mile, She dose this back and forth, Making sure not to ware herself out to much. She loved running and was very much good at it. She soon came to a stop infront of the master. "Can i go again?" she panted. with a smile her fangs showing and her tails swishing. "Also can i have something to drink?" she asks politely

Max chuckled nervously once the master chastised him. " well I figured if magical ability correlates to stamina if I pushed myself then I would get better stamina and thus get better magic " he said tilting his head in confusion. " hmm I guess so , sorry I just be used to the desert where I kinda did act like an animal " he muttered and stood stretching. " By the way do you have water? magic seems to make me puke and I'm pretty dehydrated . " he asked the master as he swallowed down bile from the aftereffects of the spell to wake him up. He then made a "blechh" noise as he burped and looked up at the master hopefully and somewhat praying he had water to drive the taste of bile and his breakfast from his mouth.

The master would face palm at the foolishness of the boy infront of him "...pushing your self like that is more to hurt and kill yourself than training yourself!" he would state before sighing "guessing from that desert time of yours, you don't know what proper training is" he says shaking his head. "Training is to keep a maintainable pace, and not kill yourself physically, longer you last the better so full sprinting is pointless endeaver that hurts yourself more than helps." he flicks his hand a magic circle appearing before the center of the circle fades away showing Leon who is still running since it is a 4 mile lap and his not full sprinting, he is lightly jogging keeping a decent pace but obvious not exerting himself. "this is a good example right here, he is keeping a constant maintainable pace that isn't draining all his energy"

The master would sigh at the beastkin, he begun to wonder how this all turned out like this. The master flicks his hand again with magic circle appearing then a couple of cups and a jug of water appears before them. "also magic isn't what is specific making you puke, use your head a bit" he sighed "the teleportation spell takes you from one point in space and moves you to another, the sudden lose of spacial control and awareness can cause nausea to those not use to it" he tells them.

Lydia smiles as she grabs some water and quickly chugs some of it. She then took off again. She guessed the master had nothing to say to her as she was getting on all fours, She paced herself again. She soon Caught up with Leon. She smiled as stayed pace with him Despite being on all fours....her kind where just like that....It seamed a bit odd too a lot of people. She then took off into a sprint and then smiled as she bounced off a wall, and landed again, running she soon slowed down again. Lydia was panting and sweat dripping off her by now....But she ignored the pain in her side and kept running, tho at a slower pace. She soon came to the master again panting. She was upright now her hands on her knees as she stood there trying to catch her breath. She was eager to get beck but know she should take a short brake.

He'd sigh watching them, he knew this batch was going to be troublesome just by watching the two beastkin, the boy seems to him to be one that doesn't like to listen judging by what he is doing, while the female seems to listen somewhat though clearly is going overboard. Shaking his head he knew he'd have to put the mana lessions back until he insured they would listen and not be fools to take more than what they can handle.

After a while of running the master would call the 3 to him as a door opens to the side of the cavern that just wasn't there before "come, it's time for you to freshen up, I'll leave you to your own devices, I suggest you keep practicing the magic circle I told you earlier" he tells them as he starts to walk to the entrance and up a gigantic staircase. "dinner will be in two hours, the golem will call for you. The library, my study, and the artifact rooms are off limits if i find you in any of them I will turn you into a toad for a week" he states "otherwise your feel to explore the castle.... I don't suggest leaving the castle grounds because the valley has hundreds of monsters that roam about, the bath house is on the main floor out back, you can find the path there by exiting from the kitchen" giving them obvious though somewhat vague instructions, though what he didn't tell them that the bath house didn't have separate sections for male or female, and the fact that it was more of a osen/hot spring than anything.

The stair case would come out of a weird door way that is off to the side in the front garden that wasn't there before. After exiting the master would bid them due and disappear.

Max listened as the master talked and nodded though frowned when he heard the library was off limits. Her actually quite enjoyed reading though there wasn't much of it to do in the desert, but whenever a trader would come through he would trade anything he had of value for some scrolls ,manuscripts and books on varying topics. " you got it boss" he told the master, even if he liked to read he wasn't going to be turned into a toad for a whole week. Walking off in the direction of the bathhouse Max stopped when he saw how it was constructed . 'hmmm value my privacy or get clean?' Max thought debating with himself and then deciding on he would rather get clean then value his privacy as he stepped into the water and washed all the dirt and dust that had been on him since the desert.

After having that nice bath Max decided to grab a towel and wrap it around his power half of himself after he took his bath. Walking into his room Max changed into some clothes and explored his new home for this period of time. After thoroughly exploring most of the castle and it's grounds Max eventually stumbled across the banner library. He stood there for a while debating whether being a toad was worth it and deciding if was for books and knowledge Max looked around to make sure he wasn't being followed used his beast senses as well and then opened the doors and walked in.

Lydia frowned when she heard the library was off limits. She sighed as she watched the master leave. She then went around the castle giving everyone enough time to get washed up....At least she hopped. She was some one that liked to be alone when it came to baths....as her baths would be long. She smiled as she walked up and looked around. No one was there. She pulled out the comb for her tails with she always kept on her and set it down. She then undressed and slowly walked in. "Ah.....this feels so good." she said as she smiled and sunk down for a second before grabbing her comb and went to work untangling her fur and her hair, Because she know it would take hours so she went slow and thorough, She did have nine of them....Witch was unusual for her species.... She smiled and sang softly as she did. Once she was done she smiled as her tails where now smooth and fluffy. She sighed as she then sat down and just relaxed for a bit.

Leon would huff and puff from the exercise when it all ended, following the master's directions he found the bath house same time as the others and he was shocked that it wasn't separated by gender, this would cause his face to turn bright red at the thought of it. However before he could think to much on it, Lydia had taken off to explore the castle it seemed while she waited for them to get done. So he quickly just got his bath over with, being shocked again that it was a hot spring.. this was luxury that only few people got to enjoy, so to be able to enjoy it he was more than surprised.

After the bath he put back on his cloths and headed back to the castle, seeing everyone separate put a bit of a downer on Leon since it seemed everyone had their own ideas of what to do. He decided to go grab more paper and some writing utensils from the classroom and head outside to the garden, where he sat down and practice more on drawing the magic circles and runes that they was given. He decided to immerse himself in his studying since everyone else was doing their own things.

Within a flash moment Max would find himself hanging upside down the moment he walked through that door suspended in the air by nothing and he would see the master before him with a seriously angry expression on his face "you are seriously trying every last of my nerves" he states obviously displeased. Tapping his foot "YOU ARE LOOKING FOR DEATH" he shouts. "use your head! I said the library was offlimits! there is countless things in here that could kill you the moment you touch them! they aren't simply sources of knowledge! many are ancient tomes that are cursed, hold some kind of monster, or has forbidden concepts inside them!" he states before sighing, obviously tired of max after watching his personality so far.

He'd just flick his wrist and Max would suddenly find himself in his own room again floating in the air until he drops, his body would be partially transformed into a toad, not completely so he would have worts, deformed hands, some mucus and so on.

Max's spirits fell when the master caught him in the library and to make matters worse he hadn't even gotten to read a book. Though once the master told him of the things in the library he wasn't sure he wanted to. Noticing the annoyed expression and sigh the master made Max decided it was probably for the best if he started listening . He especially thought this once he was transported to his room and turned into a half toad . " Well this sucks " he croaked in as he laid on his bed. Thinking about his choices Max slowly started to realize that his personality may have helped him in the desert it wouldn't help him in the "civilized " world or the masters castle for that matter. " seems like it's time to make some changes " he half croaked half muttered to himself as he decided to take a nap so he wouldn't have to deal with the uncomfortable conditions of his transformation.

Lydia sighs as she finally gets done with her tails. "Well that took long enough." she said as she ran a hand down one of her tails. She then got out and then sighed. She quickly dressed and then walks around examining everything. Her head snaps up when she hears yelling. "Ok....Some one got into trouble." she said as she looked to the library, Witch she was right across from. She frowned when she heard what the master said. She sighed. She then walked off her tails swishing behind her. She then went to the same garden that Leon did and sat down next to a small pond. She watched the water as she sat there her tails swishing as she did. What she was doing was not Viabule to them but she was doing the same thing as leon.

Leon would look up from his practice when he noticed Lydia arriving, he'd watch her for a few seconds unsure if he should say anything, before looking back down at his paper and continuing to practice. He knew he had a long way to go and was going to make the best of this, he wasn't going to let his past control him and destroy and future he has. so he delves deep into practicing, so much so he forgets the fact a cute girl is not to far from him.

After a few hours it would be dinner time, signaled by a loud bell sound. The Golem would go around collecting everyone before bringing them to a giant royal dinning hall, not taking a no from max even with his current half toad form. There would be other golems similar to the butler but they would be different designs, some being beastmen, some being humanoid monsters. They would be spaced out lining the walls, being around 20 in total, all wearing various maid or butler outfits depending on the golem's shape.. The big long table would take up most of the room being long and big enough to hold a feast for a 40 person village.

At the head of the table the master would be sitting seeming like a king. The various decorations throughout the room would consist of various statues of unknown individuals. Along with paintings hanging on the walls of these various people along with the master, including one giant one hanging on one side of the wall of what seems to be the very room their in with all these people at the table seeming to have fun.

"did you enjoy yourselves" the master would open up with as they entered the room, as he just slightly glances at them from the currently empty table.

Max yawned as the golem woke him up , coughing up some mucus Max got up and began go walk. Really this road form made it hard to breath and he felt slimy but also had a hunger for.....flies? Shuddering at the thought Max kept walking and eventually arrived at the dinning hall. Taking a seat at the table Max looks at the master " somewhat it was a double edged sword " he said referencing his library incident. Croaking he looked at the the painting curiously " who are these people? " he asked the master.

Liydia jumped a bit, and gave a small yelp of surprise. She smiles at the golum and follows him. She smiled as she stuffs everything everything into her kimono like outfit on the go. Once to the dinning hall she looked around and gave a wave of acknowledgement to the master and looked around, her tails swishing curiously. She slowly walked around examining the paintings on the wall, looking for some clue as to who they might be. "Are these....past masters?" she asks as she sits down. "Honestly.....whos was your master? And where you as much of a truble makers as Max is? And How old are you?" she asks suddenly getting onto one of her things. "Also....when it comes to the library....Why dont you help us learn more, i heard the thing with Max....Is it possible to....let us in there but keep certain book locked up?" she asked. She was not trying to offend the master, she just wanted to help. She looked at him her tails swishing nervelessly. "I happened to be near by when that happened." she said pointing her thumb at Max.

Leon would follow the golem along with Lydia when he came for them, putting away his papers in his room quickly before heading to the dinning room. He'd take a glance at Max's appearance quickly realizing he did something he wasn't suppose to, though he was only half frog so he guessed the master took it easy on him. He would nod at the master when they arrived, then nodded again when he spoke. He stayed standing, waiting for the master to tell him he can sit strangely. only when the master gave him a gesture he sat.



The master after giving leon the gesture would raise a small smirk and brow at max's statement hoping he had learned a bit, but then the question had hit him bit out of blue so he got a confused gesture on his face as his body become slighly older again, He'd look at Lydia with her bombardment of question, he'd sigh some. "they was my family" he simply states "some became wizards yes.. but not all of them" he says, seeming to give very little information overall. "My age doesn't matter, I didn't have any master" he says simply, though the second part would probably bring confusion, he didn't have a master? that didn't make sense to their knowledge so far of one needing a teacher. "was I a trouble maker..... I guess in some ways not that I had anyone to trouble back then" he sighs wave his hand dismissing the rest of that train of thought.

He'd look up at the painting. "it's not as simple as that, there is thousands of books in the library... only a fraction of them isn't about magic, but they contain knowledge that you are not ready to learn" he'd state looking back at the three. "there is many mysteries that you are not ready for... the rest of the books contain knowledge about monsters, magic, some are even prisons" he chuckles some "the library itself already has many magic protection relays on it to prevent people from getting into things they aren't meant to... why do you think the golem warned you when you first arrived not to leave it's side when you went through there" he sigh shaking his head "enough of this matter... we'll see when your ready to stand at the starting point" he tells them simply. He had originally intended to start their magic training earlier in the day, but after witnessing max's display and attitude he decided it wasn't time yet, if they didn't take the prep and physical training seriously then he was going to delay it until they was.

"enough of the questions... things will be answered in time when your ready" he says simply before waving his hand at the golems. At that moment they'd start moving as a big pair of double doors slam open as they start transporting entire trays of food to the table and start laying out all the food. it was more food then probably max was ever use to, all of different kinds made from all kinds of different ingredients, many probably unknown to the disciples.

"Now lets pray.." The master would say as he puts his hands together and lowers his head closing his eyes. "To the gods and goddesses that watch over us, we are thankful for the world they have given us and the lives we can live. We especially give thanks to Larisa the goddess of magic who looks over the lives of magic users, and sees us onto our path giving us things thought impossible.. Amen" he'd say, a very simply prayer before he'd start to collect food to his own plate and begin to eat.

Max was astounded at the amount of food that arrived. In the desert he would just usually hunt an animal he could find mostly mice and gazelles. Max thought on the amount of food the master had. 'If one could get anything they wanted would they ever know the feeling of want again? Maybe simply the act of never wanting could bring down ones survival instincts.' " hmm" he hummed absent mindedly as he kept thinking about it ' or maybe the feeling of having everything you want would simply raise your survival instincts as you've gained so much but now you just fight to keep it' Max continued to think ignoring the outside world for now as he mentally talked to himself. ' In the desert you had to push yourself and do what you needed and whatever you wanted, there was no one else but you , but now you have been taken in by a wizard and things are different there are now unforseen consequences and foreseen consequences and rules.' he thought to himself. ' My attitude must change this isn't the desert I must be smart and think rather than act on instinct rather than self survival.' he thought. He then heard the masters comment on how it was his family in the painting.

'His family? But he seems to be the only one left...I wonder if he is lonely with just these golems , a imitation of life and not the real thing, maybe that's why he accepted us' maxes face was one lost deep in thought. He then heard the masters prayer about the goddess of magic. ' gods and goddess huh? Where were they when my family was killed? But then again if they gave or this gift of magic they can't be so bad, but why would they stop all contact? Unless they are seeing if beast-men and humans can survive on their own.' shaking his head Max decided that was enough philosophy for one day and turned his eyes on the food. ' hmm I will allow myself to take more than I need this once' he thought then smiled as he took one piece of food from each dish that had been brought out. Max then croaked and began to eat deciding he would become a better overall apprentice.

Out of respect for the master she bows her head, She then pulls out her comb and starts running it throw her tails fur. She then sighs as she hears the master finish his praying. She then takes a deep breath. "With all do respect, Why do you pray to such gods, Do you know if they exsist? How do you know your prayers will be answered? If they do exist, why do good things happen to bad people, and bad things happen to good people? so wouldent it stand to say that they dont exsist, or there not as all powerful and all knowing as there followers say they are? And why do the followers of religion or of gods and goddesses get away with bad things?" she asks him bombarding him with questions again. She was one that would ask and ask. She wanted more knowledge of the world around her, She had spent most her her life in isolation, Only passing thorw town to town since she was a pup. She sighs and then looks at the master. The next round of questing she would get out would be wether or not this man had a family, he seamed lonely and she wanted to know more about the man who taught her. She suddenly sniffed the air and then zeroed in on some large grilled fish across the ways from her. Her mouth immediately started watering. She got up and reached over to get it and smiled as she slid it onto her plate. She then waited for the masters answers.

Leon would follow the master's example, while listening to this prayer. He wondered why the master was religious. As he grabbed his own food, he turned towards Lydia surprised at all the questions she has asked. Then he chuckled at Lydia snatching some fish, she is a strange one to Leon, just like max. He would sigh knowing these two are the ones he'll be spending years with, he hopped this wasn't going to change badly.



The master after taking a bite out of some kind of meat, he'd look over at Lydia as he chewed once he swallowed and wiped his mouth with a napkin he'd speak. "I didn't take you for the cynical one" chuckling he would continue "people today really have forgotten the past.... it is a shame that many have grown up in such a way" looking at his painting. "The gods very much do exist, I've even meet them myself on multiple occasions... I wont say what those moments was about since you are not ready" he'd tell her. "the gods have rules they must follow, it isn't as simple or black and white as you are thinking. One of the biggest rules is that they can't interfere with the world directly except on special situations.. such as the world about to be destroyed" he tells her.

he'd shake his head "while yes those things happen.... good people have bad things happen and bad people have good things happen.. some religious followers do things they shouldn't.. that's just the free will we have and the results of our own actions, if we didn't have free will then we would be noting more than a machine, a golem, and so on.. ones that pretty much only follow the orders we are given and nothing else" he tells her.

"that is enough of the questioning" he'd tell her "enjoy your dinner, there is many things I cannot speak about for the simple reason of you not being ready. If you heard of some of the things you would probably question things you very much shouldn't.... you'll learn these things one day but not today" he'd tell her. before returning to eat, trying to be clear he wasn't going to answer anymore questions.

Lyida sighs. "I guess the last ones will have to wait....." she muttered as she slowly began to eat....her mind was turning over everything he had said. Once she was done eating her fill, she grabbed one of her tails and started to run her fingers throw it....It was a nervous tick she had, She sighed as she closed her eyes. She kept running her fingers throw her tail as she thought about it. She sighed. "Master, man that sounds wired...." she said as she bit her tongue trying to ask anything else. She sighs as she looks down at her hands.
