The sky is blue but a Large grey demon walks through the plains of liones. The demon which would have set people in a panic years ago is now a common site in Britannia ever since the Ten Commandments won the war and defeated the Seven Deadly Sins. Liones castle is still standing and a new king rules though this king is heavily under the influence of the demons. A prison complex has been built next to the castle with seven cells most are the size one would expect to carry a humanlike sized creature while the last one is thirty feet tall. Unholy knights March out of the castle and take out the prisoners making sure to keep them hidden from the public. The knights march the prisoners in front of the king making sure they are shackled and their power is contained. With a flourish they take the hoods off the prisoners allowing them to see the king.

Elias blinked as light suddenly hit his eyes , he tried to stretch but he was chained to the floor. Looking around he saw people and tons of blood flow. Smiling he went to grab his knife but again he remembered he was chained. He then remembered where he was and frowned he was hungry so hungry and the king hasnt given him enough food for a giant even without Elias's affliction ever since he's been imprisoned. Heaving a sigh he looked at the king who was sitting on his throne gazing down at the prisoners. Well except for Elias he had to look up for elias but that was beside the point , Elias saw the look on the kings eyes and it wasn't nice. " Why have you summoned me? " Elias asked the king causing some unholy knights to take a few steps back.

The king just just smiled and waited for the other prisoners to get their bearings.

Auriole winces at the first light she'd seen in... well, to be honest, she didn't know how long she's been imprisoned, but it was a very long time. She opens her eyes, and once they adjust she glances around. A king with a nasty mug, three humanoid prisoners, and one chained giant. She looks at the giant when he speaks, then back at the king to gauge his reaction. All the meanwhile, she feels her powers strain at the shackles, and her fire attempts to simmer the chains. Nothing happens.

Razol winced as the hood was taken off. The light stinging his eyes. Taking a moment for his eyes to adjust. "So, these are the other prisoners." He said to no one in particular. Looking down and shaking his head in disgust. He had sensed them in the cells, where he had been for centuries. At least. Razol had lost track of time in there. These people were recent additions to the prison but could become friends in time. Maybe.
Looking up at the King. Flashing a smile. "Isn't it obvious." He said with a slight chuckle. His mind wasn't quite what it was when he was captured. Hundreds of years in the dark alone tended to do that to you. "At least make my execution exciting." The way Razol saw it, the only reason he would be brought out of his cell was to be executed. "Burning at the stake is so pedestrian. Beheading, so gauche." He said looking around at the Knights. A smile still on his face. He had accepted his death. Turning quickly back to the King. "I do love a spectacle. What will it be?"

His throat was hot and his stomach was experiencing a subtle, noticeable tremor that appeared to have no end. The thirst was calling. Eventually Marrock would need to answer. His eyelids shot open, revealing pupils that were unnaturally dilated, nearly enveloping the man's entire eyeball before quickly retracting, allowing the vibrant iris to shine through. Light. A friend and foe.

Grimacing, the young vampire looked down at his bonds before looking back up, fully taking in his situation. A plethora of thoughts immediately began running through his mind, most of which centered around how he would free himself from this predicament. A solution was slow to surface. In the meantime, Marrock let his mouth translate what his brain was thinking:

"If someone doesn't take these off soon, I swear on my name that I will paint these wall red." His words rode on a voice of gravel, a low rumble akin to a muted, savage growl. As he bared back his lips, revealing his particularly unique teeth.

Helene flinched as the light hit her eyes. She looked around and saw that she was in the king's court along with the other prisoners. She was getting more and more anxious at how much time she spent in her prison cell. Despite all her efforts, she still couldn't erase the sight of Urdina's corpse in her mind along with the furious looks and shouts of the other druids. They were right, she really was the worst of her kind. In those times that she spent in her cell, Helen repeatedly blamed herself for Urdina's death, the only person who truly cared for her and loved her like her own daughter. She would be crying whenever she's awake though she spent more time in sleeping the pain and sadness away.

Now that she's in front of the king, she felt that her time was up and she was about to be executed along with the others. She wondered what they did to end up in such a state. It's probably a lot worse than what she did or just as equally worse. She didn't care anymore. Helene did a terrible crime to her kind and she deserved to be punished.

"Y-Your Highness..." Before she could continue, she broke down in tears and her wailing echoed throughout the court. "Your Highness, I did something terrible! P-Please... Punish me! I deserve it for being a w-w-weakling!". Helene further said, tears streaming down her face as she continued to cry out in sadness.

Elias scoffed at the people who yelled out things. 'They really should be more attentive' he thought. They were jumping to the conclusion that they were going to be executed but Elias didn't see a executioner or the garb the king has said to dress in.

The king just chuckled at his prisoners behavior and stood up walking over to them. " This is not an execution but a chance to be saved" the king told the prisioners. " A new evil is rising in Liones and britannia , none of my unholy knights are enough to save it" he said was he very convincingly acted distressed. " I need you my strong Prisoners to fight this evil" the king said gazing at them. " you will be fully pardoned of course and given the title of unholy knights along with a specialized set of armor and your sin tattooed on you for identification " the king explained " I know some of you have your sacred treasure out there and the places you will go will unite you with it, but for now you may choose a weapon from our armory " the king finished. " So what do you say Seven Deadly Sins will you accept this deal?

Elias listened to the king and smiled. He liked this idea of being free , also he could eat to his hearts content once he gained said freedom. " I Elias the Sin of Gluttony accept your offer" he said smiling.

Auriole sighs softly at the distress of her prison mates. She hadn't worried either way since it didn't feel like an execution, and even if it was one she'd decided long ago that she wouldn't fear death. She looks up at the king, wary of his hawklike gaze. It was as if he was a cat, looking at what he had captured to decide what to eat first. Nonetheless, the prospect of being able to stretch her legs, to point her bottled up emotion at something, is appealing. She mulls it over for a second; surely there's a catch. There always is one with humans. But... She looks up at the giant as he speaks, committing his name, face, and sin to memory. She sighs and looks the king in the eye, careful to keep her face neutral. "As the Sin of Wrath, I, Auriole, accept your offer."

Adil winced as the light suddenly hit his eyes. " Damn that's bright " the fairy said as he blinked getting used to the light. He had missed the light and nature during the time of his imprisonment. As Adil began to think he rose a few inches before the dammned chains kept him down sighing he sank back to the floor his wings folding against his back. He heard the rest speak and frowned as one cried , what was their to be sad about? If anything Adil lusted for death for being so free. Though that did not mean he wanted to die if it was an execution. But as it turned out to Adils relief this did not seem to be an execution, no this was a chance at freedom with a few catches but that doesn't matter. Standing up Adil began to announce " I the fairy king Adil- suddenly he was stopped in the middle of his announcement by the king. " King? You killed the Fairy King and took his throne and power you are nothing but a pretender a court jester" the king said smiling. " Now say your title correctly" the king may not care about the sins but he took joy in humiliating a dethroner. Adil gritted his teeth and stood as tall as he could with the chains and shackles " I Court Jester Adil" he said spitting out the words as if they were poison " Sin of Lust accept your offer" he finished.

"Sounds like execution with extra steps." He paused. Trying to think it over. "It'd be a pretty good spectacle." He turned to see the others who had accepted. "So, die in a blaze of glory, or get absolved of my crimes?" Looking up at the king, he smirked. His eyes becoming solid black. Standing up suddenly, straining against the chains. Causing a couple of knights to draw their swords and place them in front of his neck. "Damn, Son of a bitch, I'm in." Chuckling he relaxed back down, and the knights relaxed. "So, I guess, I, Razol, Sin of Greed accept your offer."

"A... A new evil?". Helene stammered. Even just at a glance, the druid was the weakest among the group when it came to physical strength. She didn't know how to defeat a great evil just by her alone. Like what Urdina said, it's true that no one was truly alone and it will take the efforts of many to bring great change to the world. Even when her kind threw her out, Helene still greatly loved her kin and she will do what it took to protect them.

She looked on as the others said their name and sin aloud in accordance to the king. Sniffling and wiping away the tears from her eyes, she took a deep breath and calmed herself down. "I, Helene the Sin of Sloth, accept your offer." Helene proclaimed. Though resolute, she feared that the path she decided to take will lead her down to horrors she could never truly fathom.

Marrock's eyes squinted with suspicion while his mind was fast at work calculating their odds of success should they take the king up on his offer. One by one, his fellows made their pledges, each willing to traverse the unknown to spill blood for their freedom. When your lifespan is ever expansive, it becomes all the more alluring when possibility for excitement reveals itself. Maybe they could beat this alleged evil that is too powerful for the king's unholy knights. Or maybe they will fall in a blaze of glory. Either way, the possibilities promised not to be boring.

"Alright," came the low rumble once more. "Screw it. I, Marrock, the Sin of Pride, have nothing better to do."

The king smiled as each sin pledged their service. [color=orange] " Wonderful you may now have your shackles removed, after being freed go to the armory to get your son identification tattoos and specialized set of armor and a weapon to choose from. [/orange] he said then yawned " after that come back I go the throne room I have your first mission" he said and dismissed them.

.

Elias smiled as he was unshackled groaning as he stood up and stretched. Luckily the castle was extremely large so it could hold him though the armory might be a problem for the giant. Walking out Elias went to the armory and sat outside it. He then watched as the armorer walked outside and fitted Elias for his armor. Elias then grabbed a giant greatsword outside of the armory and say it by him. Then watching the tattoo man walk out Elias let the tattoo man climb up to the base of his throat and start on the boar sins tattoo. " kinda tickles " he muttered as he was being tattooed he then looked in the direction of the other sins waiting for them to come out.

.
Adil grumbled as his shackles were released. Floating away and to the direction of the armory Adil grumbled to himself " court jester I'll show you a court jester damned king" he mutters to himself. Finally reaching the armory Adil passed the giant getting the tattoo and floated into the armory. " hmmm" he said to himself his wings folding back. Walking around the armory Adil eventually found a trident ' it's no Cupido but it will do' he thought to himself then was fitted for armor and grabbed it not yet putting on as he got in line for his tattoo.

Auriole releases a breath when her shackles fall and rubs her wrists as she walks to the armory. She picks up a longsword and measures its weight in her hand. After setting it aside, she gets fitted for armor after a male fairy. The... sin of lust. When her armor was done, she carries it as she waits in line for her tattoo. Again behind the fairy. She couldn't help but wonder about the king's nickname.

Marrock's strut was that of confidence and leisure, each footstep echoing in the great hall that lead to the armory. Get marked, dressed and armed, eh, he thought to himself recalling the king's instructions. His makeshift companions made their own way around him, some more hurried than others. Once he finally found himself in the armory, he looked as the options that were displayed on racks and mannequins. A simple, dark leather tunic with reinforced joints caught his eye. He armored up with matching bracers and legwear before turning his attention to the weaponry.

He had already seen two swords get selected by the other sins, a traditional choice for sure. Marrock wanted something a little different, however, and a jolt of excitement crawled up his spine when he beheld the onyx warhammer. He grabbed it off of the display rack and observed it closer, appreciating the work that went into creating it. With a handle and mast that was nearly as long as he was tall, the business end had two sides. The head, or the blunt side, was about the side of a person's skull while the back end was an intimidating looking spike that existed specifically to render armor useless.

Marrock twirled the weighty weapon between his fingers with ease, getting a feel for its balance. In a pinch, it would do nicely, he decided, and made his selection official before walking off to get marked.

As he got closer to the man who would administer the tattoo, he casually looked over his body and appendages, trying to decide upon a location. In battle, Marrock found that his adrenaline hit its peak when he was in pain. What better way to welcome pain than to pick a spot that would summon it often. The vampire found himself staring at his own palm. Welding the hammer with a fresh tattoo on that spot would certainly inspire rage. Without a second thought, it was decided. He held out his hand to the mark maker and displayed a crooked grin.

"Don't be afraid to go in deep."

Razol chuckled as the shackles were released. "Now this is an execution I can behind." He said as he stood up. He cracked his knuckles and rolled his shoulders. He walked into the armoury and looked around. He grabbed a Spiked chain whip off a wall. He spun it around himself, nodding. "This I can get behind." letting the chain wrap itself around the hilt, he smirked. Looking at the possible armour, a glint appeared in his eyes. A leather helm. It looked beautiful. Horrific. Picking it up, he put it on. "Oh yes. This I like"
He acquired a simple leather armour with a bandolier of pouches, which he filled with throwing knives. Armed up, he went to get his tattoo.
Walking over to the mark maker with a pep in his step. He was going to get it on the nape of his neck. Rolling his head in its socket, to stretch out the muscles, he looked forward to it. Pain that wasn't just meaningless torture. Pain that served a purpose.

After getting his mark, he walked back into the throne room. Chain Whip on his hip, and face obscured by the leather mask. "So, what is our first mission?"

Helene breathed a sigh of relief when her shackles were removed. She nervously followed along with the others towards the armory while rubbing her wrists. Why was it that she was the only one who's visibly nervous and afraid out of the whole group? Didn't they understand the graveness of the task ahead of them or do they simply not care about anything at all due to the coldness in their hearts? She was one to talk, she was branded as one of the worst of the worst among them. Did that mean she was as cold and uncaring too?

Her thoughts were interrupted when they arrived at the armory. They were to choose among the weapons laid out for them. Despite not knowing anything about combat, Helene was very amazed at the variety of weapons laid out before her. She glanced around and saw her fellow prisoners- well, sinners- were picking out their preferred choice of weapons. Her eyes even widened in surprise when one of them picked a chain whip out of all the possible weapons he could choose.

As for Helene, she just stood dumbfounded as the rest of them got fitted for their armor and got branded with their tattoos. She was getting filled with anxiety because she wasn't really a fighter type of girl but then she realized something. She continued to scan through the weaponry. If the king really did have a variety of weapons... There! She had a smile on her face, the first sincere smile she had in a while, as she found what she was looking for.

She was so glad to have found the king had multiple options for musical instruments, a classic choice for a bard if that's the right term for Helene's class. Guitars, violins, drums, there were so many to choose from. She then laid her eyes a golden handheld harp, adjusted the strings a bit and testing out its melody, and she knew she got herself a weapon.

Next, she got fitted for her armor. They saw her pick a harp as her weapon and they immediately knew they needed to fit her with something light yet could still protect her from a few hits so, in the end, she wore a red dress with a bit of armor plating, perfect for a bard like Helene. As a druid, she wasn't used to wearing something a bit heavy on her but times were different now. This heavy thing on her could end up saving her life one day and she just had to get used to it.

Lastly was her tattoo. She wanted to get it at the center of her lower back. It was a bit painful than she imagined but often times she would burst out laughing because she was ticklish. After a few moments, Helene was finally branded as the Sin of Sloth, something she knew she will never be proud of for the rest of her life.

"Oh dear heavens, what have I gotten myself into?". Helene sadly said aloud.

Elias smiled as he heard the sin of sloth think out loud " well it seems like you are apart of a team made of maniacs. " he said smiling as he resisted the urge to scratch the new boar tattoo at the base of his throat. " I was falsely accused though" he chuckled and began to walk back to the throne room stopping outside the kitchen and having the servants fill up a sack with food. Elias then walked back to the throne room, the only room big enough to hold a giant. Walking into the throne room Elias leaned on his greatsword and waited for the kings instructions as he began to munch on the food he had been so generously given.

.
Adil had gotten his tattoo on the top of his hand before putting on his armor. He then listened to what the sloth sin had said and the giants response. Chuckling a bit Adil looked at the giant and the sin of sloth then said " falsely accused huh? Well I wasn't " he said before floating off toward the throne room. Upon reaching the throne room Adil floated high in the air even higher than the giant his wings fluttering softly. He chose this height in case anything happened though he doubted it would.

Auriole gets her tattoo over her heart, wincing a bit as she tries to distract her hyperactive senses from the pain. She closes her eyes, and soon enough a dark blue tattoo on her chest labels her the sin of wrath. She glances up at the voice of the druid, and she finds herself wondering what exactly such a meek and seemingly feeble creature had done to deserve being called a sin. She takes note of the fairy's and the giant's responses, one of which she relates to. Once her tattoo was finished, she suits up in the armor, a bit stiff and awkward as she walks back to the throne room; her entire life the only armor she'd needed was her own flesh, but suddenly that's not enough anymore. She looks up at the giant, and the even higher fairy, then back at the demon when he demands to know their first quest. She lets out a soft sigh in relief when she realizes there didn't seem to be a human among her mismatched new comrades.

Marrok found a wall within the throne room to lean upon. He looked on at Elias stuffing his face with food. Part of him missed being able to partake, enjoying the various tastes, the savory delights, the sweet treats that the world had to offer. It wasn't the same anymore. His cravings were focused and discriminate.

His staring was interrupted by Razol's question. "So, what is our first mission?" The Sin of Greed had seemingly materialized Marrock's own thoughts. As he continued to lean on the wall, he slung his warhammer over his shoulder and gripped the handle extra tight, eager to know their challenge.

Razol was a little disappointed he didn't get an answer to his question. "Well, I got a sacred treasure out there somewhere, so if you aren't going to tell me who or what I have to kill, I'll just go look for it." He cracked his fingers and rolled his shoulders. Turning to leave. He didn't know where he was going to go, just that he wasn't going to wait around. He had waited around for a couple of hundred years. Now was the time for action. If the King wasn't going to tell him what to do, he would come up with his own course of action.
