Hey! I've returned home and I've got an unexpected day off today so I'll be working on my post a bit. I really liked your post though! I don't know what you were worried about, but it seems to me you didn't really have anything to worry about. In my opinion, one of the best aspects of a 1x1 RP is that the atmosphere is super leisurely and you don't have to worry about the categories of casual and advanced. It's just writing. Whatever you and your partner decide is a great pace or length or whatever. It's just writing. And the purity of that makes it really relaxing for me. I really enjoyed your post and I think as long as we take our time and don't rush to put up IC posts, we'll move along swimmingly.

That GIF is awesome. Like I said, I'm terrible at stuff like that, but it's nice to know I've met a person who can do that stuff hahaha. Makes threads look better in my opinion. If you're positive I can play with your NPCs a bit, I may just incorporate it. I don't like to take full control of other people's characters, but if there's some light movement I can make, I'm glad to know you don't mind if I do. It's the same for me. Whenever I introduce NPCs, you're free to play them as well if need be. No reason to constrict ourselves since it'll just make the story smoother.

Like I said, I'm gonna work on my post today a bit, but I don't know if it'll be up today. I'm off, but there's some errands I gotta take care of and stuff, but I will certainly work on it for sure!

I'm working on my post as we speak, but thank you again. I've taken a look at some of the other 1x1 roleplays going and there's a lot of them that are ongoing and seem interesting. I don't know about outliving the others, but I do we can stand alongside some of the longer, ongoing ones I've seen and still keep the quality of the story up. I hope people are reading the thread actually because even in a 1x1, the story I write is for the audience just as much as it's for me and my partner. Maybe that's the author in my speaking lol, but I feel like I want people to enjoy the story just as much as us. It's the reason I prefer to roleplay in threads rather than privately because I want others to read the story like a good book and even follow along if they're interested enough.

Hey! My post will be up today, sorry for the delay. It had a few busy days work wise. Just wanted to say that first so you would know for sure. I have half the post written, but I was so damn tired from all the craziness and I hate writing when I'm tired. It always turns into crap haha.

Also, gotta say I love the theme for Liana. Mostly because Battle Angel Alita deserves a sequel and I was super surprised by that movie. Didn't really expect much and it was much better than I expected in the end.

The post is up! I ended it right as they walked in because I want you to have full creative control over how the meeting goes and how your characters offer their proposal to Grant. Sorry, it's another long one hahaha. If you need to move him in order to switch rooms or something, you're free to do so. I want you to feel restricted in how you set up your scene. Side note--Where'd you get the images for your new avatar and sig???? Did I miss a trailer release for WandaVision or what?! I'm all in on the MCU--or at least, I was until Endgame. Endgame ended things so perfectly for me that I wasn't even mad when all the movies got delayed cause of the pandemic. I'm still fine taking a break from Marvel movies. But. I want to see the Disney+ shows though. Super contradictory, but I really want to see those haha. Looking forward to Falcon and the Winter Solider the most.

I have Disney+ free through Verizon for a year and I watched The Mandalorian too. Absolutely spectacular. Star Wars should have been a TV show years ago though I understand the show is extremely expensive to produce.

I'm glad you said that! The Winter Soldier is still, to me, the single best Marvel movie out of all of them--including Endgame and Infinity War. Why do I say that? It's the only movie I can show someone who doesn't care anything about superheroes or the MCU at all and they would not only understand it, they would enjoy it. It's a movie that exists within its own right while also. connecting to the others in clever ways if you've seen them. And it shocked the hell out of me when I saw it in theaters because I was not a Captain America fan before that. That highway fight is still one of the best fight scenes in the whole MCU, I swear. My top three goes:

1. Winter Soldier
2. Infinity War (I love a movie that follows a villain and he even winds in the end. It was a fucking perfect movie for that alone. And that villain was amazingly handled as well.
3. Civil War / Endgame (I can't decide between the two cause Civil War had balls to the wall action and everyone was getting it in. It also featured a villain who actually won in the end and the ramifications of what he did were even felt all the way up until Endgame if you really paid attention. It was perfect. But then Endgame wrapped up the series so beautifully and I cried all three times I watched Tony Stark sacrifice himself in theaters. Coming full circle after ten years was emotional. But it was a perfect ending to me. So they're tied for third haha.

Oh, I'm definitely down for a playlist! I'm not too knowledgable with music, but I trust your judgment. Your song choices for Liana have been grade A thus far in my opinion. It'll be interesting to see what you come up with. It's a sign of the things you're thinking about for this RP and I'll take it as a glimpse into your mind hahaha.

Sorry, I'm just now getting back from my bday weekend. And I took today to clean my place and get it organized again. Feels like I haven't been home in forever haha. Ugh. I've had a terrible week. Sorry for the radio silence. My company just changed their policies and everything in the most dramatic way possible and I'm trying to plan this trip and my call shifts have been super busy. I'm still here though! Getting back to my post tonight. Sorry again, I didn't forsee this kind of week happening. It's been truly crazy.

On the flip side, I friggin' love that new GIF. That's the best representation of Grant I've seen outside of the character picture I posted for him. And I only say that because that's how I envisioned him when I was creating the character. Grizzled with a beard and medium-length hair. However, your GIF with this look for Hardy is really really good. Reminds me of Grant so much haha. Helps when writing my post too, just so you know.
