Mako is a relatively young man of unknown descent, standing at 6' without armor and 6'2" in armor. He sports an athletic and somewhat muscular build, albeit he is on the thinner side of the spectrum. Under the armor, Mako has [REDACTED] and [REDACTED], with [REDACTED].
His armor is mostly made out of dark gray metallic alloy plates, which have a decent amount of scratches and battle scars. He wears a specialized gray flight suit under the armor, which further protects him from impacts and insulates him from the elements. His belt also has various pouches and compartments which can carry various types of items, such as explosives, ammunition, credits, medicine, etc., a holster is also attached to the belt. Mako's one-of-a-kind helmet has the same color scheme as his armor, with a heavily tinted T-shaped visor. The helmet possesses a basic HUD, a communications array, a targeting system, and can seal itself off from the environment, providing around 15 minutes of air. He usually wears a light gray jetpack into battle, which improves his mobility on the ground and in the air.

BACKSTORY & MOTIVATION
Born on the remote agricultural and mining world of Mensia on the far end of his galaxy, Mako would live the quiet rural life like many of the planet's residents. At least, that would have been the case had his father not been a retired mercenary. Mako would then spend his early years training in the arts of hand-to-hand combat, marksmanship, and blade fighting under his father's tutelage. At the age of 14, he decided to travel offworld to enlist in the military of the Terrakalani Republic, the largest and most dominant governing body in the galaxy. Passing the 4-year training course with flying colors, Mako would then be assigned to be a Republic Ubercommando, who were regarded as some of the most skilled soldiers in the Republic. Over time, he would prove himself to be a capable soldier and an adept tactician, eventually rising up through the ranks and gaining command of his own personal squad. His squad of Ubercommandos would then go on to serve on many missions for the Republic, from disrupting rival governments, putting down insurgencies, and taking down criminal syndicates.
All of their training would not prepare them however, from the coming onslaught of the extragalactic invaders known as the Desijic. These fearsome creatures were unlike any other race in the galaxy, their technology was entire biological. All of their ships, vehicles, even weapons and armor were biological entities. First emerging in the Outer sectors of the galaxy, they slowly made their way towards the center, tearing apart any who stood in their way.
At some point in time during the "Galactic Invasion", Mako's squad was sent to the urban planet of Gesis in order to recapture it from the Desijic, while under the command of the local battalion's general Gage, who was known for attaining his high-ranking position through family connections and bribery. Things then took a turn for the worse however, as an enormous wave of Desijic troops launched an assault on the planet's capital 5 days after their arrival. All of the remaining Republic forces were then pushed back into the capital and surrounded by the horde of Desijic. As the Desijic threatened to overwhelm the capital's border defenses, which was also the area where Mako and his squad were stationed, Gage panicked and ordered Republic artillery to fire on the border to wipe out the invaders and try to halt their advance, despite the objections of Mako and several other officers. In the ensuing chaos, the rest of his squad fell to either the Desijic or cannon fire from their own artillery, leaving only Mako alive. All of this would be in vain however, as 2 days after, the Desijic would take the city and the remaining Republic forces would retreat from the planet. The ordeal scarred Mako, having his whole squad, his friends, the people that were supposed to be his responsibility, killed, all because of an incompetent man that shouldn't have been in charge of anything. Despite this, he would still continue to serve under the Republic, there was still a job to be done and a threat to neutralize. Most of the people he knew however, would notice his sudden change in demeanor. He was a lot quieter, a lot more serious, and now preferred to work alone.
Around a year after the battle of Gesis, the war against the Desijic was finally over with the Republic emerging as the victor and what was left of the Desijic being exiled to an unknown region in deep space. This would also be the time wherein Mako would decide to desert the Republic and become a mercenary instead. Before he left, he wiped all of his records from their database, and to satisfy his thirst for revenge, rigged an explosive trap for general Gage in his own home, killing him. After leaving, Mako would obtain his own ship, upgrade his armor and weapons, and get his own droid companion, Niner. Over time, he would build up his reputation as a mercenary and bounty hunter, and continue to modify his gear, his ship, and even Niner.

Everything would change on one fateful day however as Mako's life was about to get turned inside-out. As the mercenary watched the vast expanse of space through the cockpit of the Tempest, a large wormhole would suddenly materialize nearby. The wormhole's gravitational pull would then suck in the Tempest, despite Mako's best efforts to escape. After travelling through time and space, the ship would eventually emerge out of the wormhole and crash land into the Zun desert. Now stranded in a strange, new land with his faithful droid Niner as his only companion, will he be able to return to his home galaxy? Only time will tell...
FIGHTING STYLE & ABILITIES
FIGHTING STYLE
Mako prefers to use wit and cunning in order to undermine his opponents and planning out the course of the battle in order to trap his opponents with little hope of escape. He is adept at analyzing his opponents and using the environment to his advantage as well. He utilizes a mix of both close-range and long-range combat, through his arsenal of weapons and his melee combat skills. His arsenal includes his plasma rifle and pistol, along with an assortment of rockets, grenades, explosives, and others. These items serve a variety of purposes, from trapping and disorienting the opponent, to raining down explosive devastation.
In terms of close-quarters combat, Mako's fighting style would be best described as a mixture of aspects of Taekwondo, Judo, Karate, and Ninjutsu. He is also armed with dual wrist blades, with one pair on each arm, which are used in tandem with his hand-to-hand combat techniques. In battle, Mako usually favors speed over power, using his jetpack to quickly move around before slashing at the enemy with his wrist blades or sending a kick going their way.
Mako's armor is decently tough, effective at protecting against flying shrapnel and being able to take a few direct hits from plasma bolts. It also provides good protection against bullets, being able to tank hits from ordinary small arms weapons.
SPECIAL MOVES & TECHNIQUES
■ [Bucket HUD(Passive)]
[Gives basic info on nearby entities and the environment, such as vital signs, location, and ki signatures, along with night and heat vision. It also gives a passive buff to accuracy. This ability however, will be rendered temporarily disabled when struck by an EMP.]
■ [Weapon Switch(Toggled)]
[Switches Mako's primary weapon between his ME-622 plasma rifle, his LR-1012 plasma pistol and his wrist blades. His rifle trades fire rate for range and power, and is more effective at a distance. His plasma pistol is the reverse, with slightly greater fire rate for less range and power, it can also be wielded alongside one pair of wrist blades if needed. One thing to note is that the speed and power of plasma fire is higher than ordinary gunfire, but less so than ki-empowered gunfire.]
■ [Jetpack burst]
[Activates his jetpack for a brief amount of time and dashes in a certain direction or boosts his jump height. Can instead be activated for longer in order to hover and fly at the expense of using up more fuel. His jetpack carries enough fuel for 10 minutes of use.]

[Fires a rocket from his wrist rocket launcher. These speedy projectiles move in a relatively straight pattern and have similar firepower to a grenade. He carries around five rockets at a time.]

[Throws a grenade at a certain area. Mako has access to three distinct types of grenades, smoke grenades, EMP grenades, and flashbangs. He only carries two of each type at a time.]

[Activates his wrist-mounted flamethrower and spews out a cone of fire in front of him. The flamethrower has enough fuel for two minutes of use.]
■ [Ensnaring Cord]
[Deploys a fibercord whip from his wrist gauntlet. The cord has a grappling hook at the end, and can grab onto terrain, can grab other people, or ensnare them by wrapping them with the cord.]
■ [Silent Shot]
[Fires a dart from his wrist gauntlet at the enemy. He can switch between stun/tranquilizer darts or poison darts, and carries six stun darts, three poison darts, and the antidote for the poison. The darts must make direct skin contact with the target to work.]

[Plants a small explosive charge, similar to C4, down on a surface. The explosive can either be remotely detonated or set on a timer and takes 10 seconds to arm. The explosive is quite powerful, used commonly for breaching heavily fortified doors and sometimes even destroying armored vehicles. He can carry five at a time]
■ [Ki-enhanced Melee]
[Channels some of his ki into either his arms and blades or his legs for a short duration. This gives a moderate buff to the speed and power of his attacks.]

[Channels large amounts of ki into his whole body and primes his jetpack for continuous use. This greatly increases his speed and power, while also providing a moderate buff to defense. This buff lasts for 15 seconds before expiring. The downside is that Mako usually takes several seconds to recover from the physical strain, and the fact that the ability uses up nearly all of his ki, tires him out, and guzzles down a lot of jetpack fuel.]

Although Mako's weapons are powerful, all of them have limited ammunition and are not capable of being replenished in battle, thus stalling him out and forcing him to use up his ammo will deprive him of much of his firepower. The same applies to his jetpack, once it runs out of fuel, he will lose much of his mobility.
Though Mako's armor is tough, it does not cover the entirety of his body. As it was designed to provide more flexibility and mobility in exchange for protection, the armor plates only cover certain areas, thus areas such as the neck, the armpits, and the back of his legs are exposed and vulnerable.
Mako also has relatively small amounts of ki, around slightly below average. Though he is able to use his ki to enhance some of his physical abilities, they usually do not last very long and are weaker than the ki-powered attacks of other nomads.
Without any of his weapons and items(aside from his wrist blades), Mako is basically a close-range fighter. Despite all of his training, his relative lack of ki also means that most other nomads are superior to him in terms of general physical prowess.
OTHER
Mako's hobby is cooking, and he has become quite the skilled cook as well.
Mako never takes off his helmet, only doing so when he's sure that he's alone.
I know this is gonna suck, and it really does suck for me, but I'm gonna drop this RP. I really can't get the drive to post for it and I just can't do it. You can do whatever with my characters, I mean I left the RP so give them whatever humiliating death you can. Really sorry but I don't have any inspiration.

In an alternate reality, there exist many anomalous entities, objects, locations, and events spread all across the galaxy. These "Oddities" have certain characteristics that violate the natural laws of the universe through one way or another. Such oddities include individuals with strange, mystical powers, objects with paranormal abilities, and locations that alter the fabric of time and space. Recognizing the potential power and danger these oddities possessed, the dominant factions of the galaxy formed their own organizations to deal with these anomalies. Large intergalactic governments weren't the only ones interested in the Oddities however. Other groups such as companies and crime syndicates also seek to exploit the power that the Oddities hold. This task falls upon the containment agents, who specialize in capturing, containing and neutralizing Oddities. One of these containment agents would soon grow in reputation and become known as a high-end mercenary, his name: Mako Lu.
As a child, Mako would find himself fascinated by the peculiar nature of the Oddities, and driven by his desire to interact with them and to be a soldier, would aspire to be containment agent. At the age of 14, he decided to travel offworld and enlist in the Terrakalani Republic military. He would pass the trooper course with flying colors, and join the Terrakalani Republic's Oddity Capture and Research Division as a containment agent.
After spending several years serving under the Republic and learning as much as he could about the Oddities, Mako decided to leave and instead work as an independent mercenary and containment agent, purchasing his own ship and a droid companion when he left. He would usually take jobs involving capturing and delivering Oddities or neutralizing them, depending on what his client wanted. Aside from working as a containment agent, Mako would also do mercenary work for extra money.

After working freelance for a few years, Mako would then take on his highest-paying and perhaps most dangerous job yet - retrieving OD-909 "The Sun God's Soul", from its tomb. OD-909 is an artifact, originally worshiped by the main populace of its planet as a deity. The artifact has the power to "supercharge" a random nearby biological entity by pumping it full of ki. This grants the victim extremely high physical prowess for an amount of time, increasing their strength, speed, stamina, endurance, etc.. However, after successfully retrieving the artifact from its tomb and escaping to his ship, the relic released a shockwave that warped the Tempest into another dimension, dropping him right in the skies of Zun. Now stranded in a strange, new land with his faithful droid Niner as his only companion, will he be able to return to his home? Only time will tell...

Well I think it's time to stop beating around the bush. I discussed it briefly with the other two GMs and we agreed that this has run out of steam and it's time to call it. Nomadic Fist: Radiant Soul has come to an end.
I want to apologize to all of you and at the same time thank you for contributing; I legitimately loved seeing all the crazy awesome characters you guys brought to the field and I was always excited to see what you came up with next. The early end is entirely on us; I was really unable to give this the time and attention that it deserved, but you guys gave it your all. I don't know if we'll see the return of NF at some point in the future, but no matter what happens I'm incredibly grateful that you all contributed and made it into something special!
We'll still have our discord up for those who want to come and hang out, we may host future projects there, but for now you're welcome to come and hang out. Thank you to everyone, from the players to the co-GMs and of course the mad genius who started this whole thing, Ruler Inc.
