Noah is a young man who likes to look at the positive side of life. Ever the optimist, he sees opportunity even from bad situations and tends to land on his feet. He does his best to remain cheerful and wants the best for those he cares about. He considers herself loyal, and won't hesitate to deal with people who hurt those he cares about. He is outwardly confident and strong, sometimes to the point of coming across as arrogant or self-righteous. There is a bad tendency of his that doesn't let him be direct about his own feelings. Sure, he gives out advice even when its unwanted, but when it comes to his own situation he tends to clam up and refuses to budge. He doesn't know how to properly communicate his own emotions as a result. His self-worth is also in the negative, but he tries hard to hide it.
Noah's childhood was relatively normal until an old lady showed up and said he was a wizard. Initially skeptical as most people would be, the young boy became enamored with the magical world. Still, Hogwarts wasn't exactly prepared for the curious, mischievous kid who wanted to touch everything to make sure it was real. Over time he calmed down for the most part, but he still had a tendency to get himself into trouble at times; his more known feats include getting chased by centaurs, somehow knocking over several shelves of books in the Library, and more recently somehow get the Quidditch teams' bludgers to attack several Slytherin students.

Welcome one and all to what is probably a way-too-image-filled 1x1 search. I have amazing partners but an insatiable need for attention cravings and a love of writing have prompted me to give this a try. This will probably be constantly changing as well. So come on in, take a look and see if something interests you.
I'm old, tired, and don't know what I'm doing about 80% of the time, but I'm having a great time and haven't died yet so I must be doing something right. I like video games and nerd out about Final Fantasy in particular and have a love-hate-Stockholm-syndrome relationship with Kingdom Hearts but if you haven't guessed, JRPGs are my thing. I really do like most things fantasy, violence in games are my passion, and I've been writing for a while now as a hobby.
I'm hoping my partner has the same passion as I do, my writing ranges from normal to crap to 'is this the same person', all depends on motivation and the scene I have in mind. Looking more for adventures than kinks, although I am a sucker for romance, it's not really needed with the exception of one or two ideas I have down below. We can do forum posts or PMs, I have no particular preference. I'm able to post at minimum once a day, I won't ask the same but I do ask that if at any point you're unable to continue, a heads up would be greatly appreciated because I have abandonment issues. I'm also down for other stuff, the ideas I have are just a few things I've jotted down and have actual plots for.

I miss the original feel of Kingdom Hearts. Figured it'd be cool to have a simpler plot sans the whole Xehanort thing, though I did like the idea of KH2 with Nobodies and the like. This plot would focus on two keyblade wielders--one of light bearing the Kingdom Key, the other holding its opposite, the Kingdom Key D. The two would be ripped from their homes and meet in Traverse Town, where they find out the existence of other worlds as well as their intertwined destinies of locking the keyholes of the worlds to prevent the Heartless from taking over. Of course, nothing is ever simple, as along the way there is a malice looking to plunge the world into darkness...

The succession crisis of the Kingdom of Verona has slowly crawled its way to a head. On the day marked as the Divine Retribution, the entirety of the royal family was decimated, leaving the kingdom with no ruler. I absolutely fell in love with this game the moment I played it, from the combat to the setting to the characters, everything was just amazing. Once I finished the game, however, the honeymoon phase ended and I found myself feeling that the plot--while good in my opinion--could have benefited from a few tweaks here and there. And while I believe that Link and Zelda's interactions were very nice in the flashbacks, I just felt like it wasn't enough, I liked the two of them together very much sorry Mipha. And so I wondered, 'Hey, what if Zelda wasn't trapped in the castle? What if she made the journey with Link?'. So that's sort of what this is, an AU where Link isn't alone.

Phi Lambda Alpha (ฮฆฮฮ) fraternity established communications with Pi Delta Phi, which had been recently founded in 1916 in the Northeastern United States, at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). After some communication, these two organizations realized the existence of a non-Greek letter secret society, the Union Hispano Americana (UHA). As a result of intensive correspondence and various interviews, the three organizations merged. In their merger agreement, the three organizations adopted the name of Phi Lambda Alpha Fraternity, with the distinctive emblem & constitution of Pi Delta Phi, and the goals & motto of the UHA. This new union was formalized on June 11, 1921, in Pennsylvania.
Both groups were once the biggest in Apollon. Despite their size dwindling over the years, they weathered the years by keeping their extensive networking with other chapters, remaining relevant . Considering that Phi Mu has now been disbanded, the house is now up for grabs. Of course, the entire place is gorgeous, thanks to the generosity of former Sorority President Hannah Johnson. It comes equipped with numerous amenities, including working sinks, windows that actually close, doors that lock, and the newness of the place compared to others makes it a goldmine of a cushy place to live while you study through the rest of your college years.

Five years ago, the land was brought to the brink of destruction. With the descent of Bahamut, king of dragons and elder primal, the Battle of Cartenau was met with a rather decisive end. He ravaged and destroyed the land beneath him, taking countless lives and reshaping continents. In present time, adventurers are a common breed, doing their part to return the land to its former glory. Escorting merchants, making deliveries, and exterminating monsters are just a few things those with skill do in their efforts to help. The Grand Companies of the Eorzean Alliance suffered grave losses at the Battle of Carteneau. Bahamut's wrath cost the Grand Companies countless troops, and of those who survived, many reportedly deserted the battlefield.
When the dust of the Calamity had settled, it became apparent that consolidating the strength of the Grand Companies was imperative. The resurgence of the Garlean threat could not be ignored; the Grand Companies needed to replenish their troops to ensure the safety of the realm. And so, in an effort to bolster their forces and encourage the cooperation of adventurers, the Eorzean Alliance sanctioned the creation of free companiesโmercenary groups that would serve as an extension of the Grand Companies.
Both established and operated by adventurers, these new organizations require little if any contribution from the Grand Companies to sustain them. Moreover, their contracts are formed on an individual basis, making the assembly of troops against opposing threats swift and efficient. By the decree of the council of the Alliance leadership, adventurers are now free to lend their aid to any Grand Company, transferring their allegiance as they please, and as a result, provide the Alliance with the manpower it needs. As the forces that threaten Eorzea continue to grow, the policies of this new system will allow adventurers to undertake such duties as transcend political boundaries.

This RP will be taking place five years after Bahamut threw his temper tantrum following the events of the Blessed Twelve, a small group of adventurers recruited for some adventuring shenanigans. Gridania is one of the city-states located on the Aldenard continent. It is located in the midst of the Black Shroud, a dense forest also known as the Twelvewoods that serves to filter out those hostile toward the Elementals and those in cooperation with them. Gridania is by far the most unified of the city-states. Its guilds all work in cooperation with each other under the guiding hand of Kan-E-Senna, who brought back the Order of the Twin Adder.
In the eastern reaches of the Aldenard landmass, home to vast, dense woodlands and coursing rivers, lies the forest nation of Gridania. The cityscape is a mosaic of labyrinthine waterways and great wooden structures, so gracefully constructed they seem a part of the surrounding environment.
The Gridanian emphasis on natural harmony has led to its preeminence among Eorzea's city-states in trades such as forestry, agriculture, carpentry, and leatherworking. Gridania is also home to the Wood Wailers, a militant band of polearm-wielding sentries charged with the protection of their homeland.
The favored goddess of the citizenry is Nophica, the Matron, but great faith is also placed in the wisdom of the Seedseersโyoung oracles who guide the nation based on the will of the forest's elementals.
The elementals in the Twelvewoods around Gridania pervade all aspects of Gridanian culture. The Gridanians respect, and even fear, the elementals for the power they wield, and appease or communicate with the elementals through festivals and ritual dance. The elementals in the woods guard and watch over observant Gridanians, and would normally control creatures of the forest and use them to attack outsiders. A sort of barrier called the Hedge prevents outsiders from being subject to this violent elemental nature, called "woodsin" or "woodwrath". The Hedge occasionally falters, however, and when it does, those affected with woodwrath need to be purified through ritual dance.
Limsa Lominsa is an independent marine city-state. Located on the southern coast of the island Vylbrand, Limsa Lominsa is a bustling port and pirate hideout.
On the southern coast of the island of Vylbrand, under the shadow of ancient cliffs worn by the relentless onslaught of the Rhotano Sea, lies the marine city-state of Limsa Lominsa. Said to be blessed by the goddess of navigation, Llymlaen, the city is spread out over countless tiny islands, each connected by sturdy bridges of iron and wood construction, earning her the name the "Navigator's Veil" from traveling bards who have witnessed the city's beauty from afar.
Limsa Lominsa is a traditional thalassocracy, with power lying in the hands of the ruling party and its leaderโAdmiral Merlwyb Bloefhiswyn. Its economy is driven by shipbuilding, fishing, and blacksmithing, but the majority of wealth comes from the lucrative shipping industry.
To maintain the safety of its maritime routes, the city employs a formidable navy known as the Knights of the Barracuda, but even in the waters nearby the city, pirate bands run rampant, raving and pillaging. Admiral Merlwyb reinstated The Maelstrom to combine the forces of the Knights, conscripted pirates, and adventurers into a land-and-sea army to combat the Garlean Empire and the encroaching Sahagin of the Indigo Deep.
Ul'dah is a city-state located in the deserts of southern Aldenard. It is the most wealthy of the city-states, its flag bearing scales as a symbol of their commercial significance in Eorzea. The city-state was once exclusively populated by Lalafell, and the royal family is of this race, but the prospect of wealth attracted all peoples from across the world. The majority of the Syndicate members are Lalafell.
The bustling commercial hub of Ul'dah sits amid the desolate desert landscape of southern Aldenard. The city is organized strategically around the dome-shaped citadel at the center. Its towering fortifications and protective outer walls are visible for malms in all directions to deter would-be besiegers.
Visitors from every corner of Eorzea come to Ul'dah to partake of the city's famed recreation, most notably the fighting arenas and gambling halls. Ul'dahic culture is known for its affluence, and the nation's wealth largely comes from its abundant mineral resources and prestigious clothcrafting industry.
Historically, the sultan claims sovereignty over Ul'dah, but true power is wielded by the Syndicate, an elite group of six of the most influential and richest members of society. Nald'thal is the city's patron deity and two great halls devoted to his two aspects are found in the eastern and western sections of the city.
The life of an adventurer is the pursuit of fortune and fame and devoting oneself to seeking out danger and glory. It is an endless quest taken up by the most intrepid and dauntless of souls.
The term came into popular use among Eorzeans little more than a decade ago. Left idle by the onset of the Age of Calm, a leading mercenary officer gathered a number of trusted companions to form a guild dedicated to the common cause of aiding the realm. Outside the modest station of their humble beginnings, a simple sign hung for all to seeโAdventurers' Guild.
The Adventurers' Guild has since spread, and is now found in each of the realm's great nations. Eorzeans come with their myriad pleas and requests and adventurers heed the call, whether it be slaying of foul beast plaguing the countryside, or the crafting of wares demanding a master's touch.
- Typical RPG standards, including 'don't be a douche' and respecting my position as GM. What I say goes, which is about as threatening as a level 10 Treant considering how much of a softie I am. That said, I'm not a big fan of unruly people or those who start issues, and I'm pretty particular about having believable characters that fit the setting.
- Looking for at least one post every two weeks. There will be something to occupy faster posters, but otherwise this is what I'm expecting as the bare minimum.
- Lore is to be followed, but we can be flexible about it depending on what you want. I'm already bending it with jobs and the like. The wiki does a decent job explaining things and you can always ask me anything, my DMs/PMs are always open. That said, I don't expect everyone to speak as old fashioned as characters do in-game, but I do expect some effort when it comes to mannerisms and phrases.
- I'm looking for a small to medium cast, and this will NOT be first come first serve. Don't take it hard if you're not accepted, I'm just looking for a crew that will work off one another. I'm looking at a August 25th deadline.

I've actually come up with something that'll avoid spoilers for the most part, though later on it'll probably be unavoidable. For all intents and purposes anything that happens after White Clouds will be considered a spoiler. Please leave spoilers in a hider until then!!!

Before I delve deeper into the confines of the plot I have in mind for this, I'm throwing down an interest check. I have 3 different ideas/stories in mind depending on how I go about things, but all stories have several things in common that I've taken creative liberties on in regards to canon. For one, most canon will be used as a basis but not set in stone. For one, this 'alternate universe' is essentially taking place some vague amount of years after the original, as unlike the game where Sothis intervened to prevent Byleth from getting cleaved after protecting Edelgard, Sothis never awakened and poor Byleth kicked the bucket. The very messy aftermath of not only losing the hero but also the three heirs caused a lot of issues that may or may not be addressed in-game, but as far as the present day is aware, it was thanks to the Archbishop Rhea that Fodlan remained united during these trying times.
That said it's my lame excuse to essentially reset everything and put things where I want them: keep the last names, have fresh characters. There will be three house leaders and an assortment of students ranging from commoner to noble, all eager to attend Garreg Mach for their own reasons. Nobles already have a surefire way to get in but commoner players will likely have to be more creative about it, though both are going to be judged pretty equally. I'm hoping for reliable players for the house leaders, but that role will likely be the last decided as I'm still on the fence about actual royalty (with the exception of the Alliance--their house leader will be one of the five nobles, I don't want to restrict it to Riegan, but I'll figure it out otherwise). The church faction will be in my hands for the sake of ease, but I'm always open to people wanting to play teachers if there's enough of a demand or a really, really good CS. I will say the only thing I won't be convinced on is the Underground house--for all intents and purposes Abyss probably still exists, but being a student from there isn't an option.
With all that aside, the plot so far starts as a relatively simple "year at Garreg Mach"--your characters have their reasons for attending, ranging from duty, a chance at rubbing elbows with other important people, maybe they're looking to reinforce their piety, or any other reason you can come up with. Of course, whispers about a power struggle within the Church of Seiros has taken Fodlan by storm, with an odd rumor here and there about a greater darkness looking to once again manipulate things from the shadows.

The Plague that Swept the Empire
The Plague came stronger than most but ravaged the Empire all the same. The borders were closed in an attempt to contain it, but all measures were fruitless. It was uncommon to hear families that didn't lose someone to it and for years the Empire struggled to recover. The worst came when it ravaged the royal family, killing five of the seven children of the Emperor, and the eldest committed suicide out of grief. In an effort to retain power, the Emperor's last living relative was arranged to another to give the lineage another heir. While most agree that it is the proper course of action, some have said the marriage was a play for power, others believe that the Emperor's hands are tied, and others feel that there have been a few too many new faces around the Emperor.

The Leicester Alliance was shaken when Duke Ordelia slayed Duke Gloucester in what was supposed to be a mock battle. None of the other houses would have ever suspected that Duke Ordelia had held any ill will towards Gloucester, with his troops surrendering immediately. The battle, however, was brief--the decision was reckless and served only to drown morale, with many troops outright throwing down their arms and refusing to fight. Only Duke Ordelia was taken in and tried before the Great Lords, who unanimously decided that the House of Ordelia would lose their seat as a Lord and replaced with House Daphnel. While the shakeup was recent, there are those that feel the actions of one should not have resulted in something so drastic. Rumor has it that Ordelia is on its last legs, and some say the duke had been encouraged by others to take action.

The Fight for the Throne
For years the Kingdom of Faerghus has had only one recognized heir. However, in recent days another has been revealed to the world: the previous king had taken on a secret lover whose child bore a Major Crest. Said child has now made a claim for the throne, fracturing the nobility. Some agree that the current heir is already poised and ready to take leadership once they graduate the academy. Others argue that the bastard shouldn't have any stake, their Major Crest has given them an edge, especially after their Crest was recognized by the Church of Seiros. The fighting has been mostly kept under wraps, as the Kingdom's current regent has made no inclination as to which they support.
Not sure how many I'm looking for, though there'll be a hard cap of 10 people by merit, not on a first-come-first-serve basis. That said, despite the game having those without crests, I'm gonna ask that peeps have one for a future plot related purpose. Maybe try not to overlap, or fight over the same one, either way is fine. All but the crests of Flames and Ernest (or whatever Anna has) are allowed, though whoever claims the crest of Seiros will probably be judged harsher so just a heads up there.
Please ask as many questions possible because I'm sure I've missed a lot and that'll help me clarify/add, thanks.
