For centuries, they have hidden, their rare attempts at friendship with humanity met with fear and violence. They have grown bitter, accustomed to being met with torches and pitchforks, or even tanks and artillery. And so they have stayed in their isolated lagoons, their crumbling castles, their secret chambers beneath opera houses.
But in recent years that has begun to change. Among the creatures of the night was one with unrivaled power: Vlad the III, Count of Wallachia, the Impaler. A great sorcerer, brilliant scholar, charismatic leader, and of course one of the most powerful vampires in recorded history. Slowly, over the years, he began to gather and organize the creatures of the night. Resources were pooled, wealth accumulated, knowledge shared. Some were fully loyal, others raged against his slow pace.
Dracula gathered several of the best and brightest to him. He was wise enough to understand the need for their counsel and perspectives. His closest advisers became the Council of the Night, using their connections and newfound status to build their own power bases. They formed their own plans, their own secretive agendas. Ostensibly, the Council of the Night was a group of equals, but Dracula kept them all in line.
But now, suddenly, Dracula has disappeared without warning. And with a power vacuum at the head of the table, all hell is about to break loose.

It's been a while since I've seen a good old monster mash, so bring your Frankenstein, your Wolfman, your Invisible Man. Expect horror themed politicking and power struggles that threaten to break into supernatural violence at any time.
