After a lot of internal debating and back and forth, I've decided to close this roleplay. For those of you who are unaware of the hateful and damaging statements being made by JK Rowling, I ask that you take a moment to educate yourself. While I believe in separating the art from the artist, in this case I cannot. I'm left with an overwhelming sense of betrayal and disappointment that the fandom I used to love so much has become something that, to me, now signifies only hate.

To everyone who made characters or were in the process of applying, I apologize.

Of course, you're absolutely welcome to the idea. But do me one favour; link me if you decide to post it somewhere. I may be disgusted with Rowling, but I'm not with the idea that my husband and I dreamed up for this roleplay. I'd love to see what you do with it.

To answer your other question, yeah ... She's doubling down on her transphobic statements and now has decided to go after people who take medication for depression and other such issues. As a member of the LGBT* community and someone with severe depression, all I can say is fuck her.
