Yeah, we were relieved to hear it.

I think Cas will end up stealing a moment with Iris after Jay and Miles get trashed xD

Also I may not be online too much tomorrow because I'm going on a super long hike up the second tallest mountain in Arizona. It'll probably take all morning and a little of the afternoon to get done, and I have to go to the new house after that because it's being treated for pests. I won't have internet while I'm there.

Hey no worries! I have a huge managers meeting tomorrow sorting out a few bits in the store as a lot of movement etc has happened.

Will you be posting pictures of the hike? It sounds amazing! Omg are you going to take the doggo with you too?

Thanks. It was a lot of fun! The views at the top of the mountain were gorgeous.

Anyway, I was gonna work on posts today, but our internet router broke and won’t be replaced until Monday :( I may go to a coffee shop to write if I get super bored at home, but worst case scenario is that I’ll be unable to get posts done until the technician comes out.

Oh, I bet! I’m so glad it was a good time!

That sucks about the internet! I hope it get’s fixed soon. Nothing worse being without internet for a while if you have things to do haha.

It's mostly annoying because I don't have much else to do at home during the pandemic without internet lol

Not yet. I'm still using my hotspot. Supposedly a technician is coming by today to give us a new modem, but I have no idea when he'll get here.

Thanks! We had fun. And that's awesome! I'm trying to cut back on going to restaurants lately because my state is officially the worst place in the entire world for COVID right now :( Nobody is following safety guidelines because they're saying that wearing a mask and social distancing is infringing on their personal freedoms. It pisses me off because the guidelines are in place to protect people, and now something like 1 in 7 people in my state are infected and hospitals are completely full because most people don't care. I'm holing up at home for a while to try and wait out the worst of it.

Especially as you mentioned lately you're staying inside. Honestly those that complain about the masks wind me up too! It's there to protect everyone and people should have the right to refuse service if they don't abide by the rules!!

The technician just arrived, so I'm hoping it works too!

And yeah, a lot of people in AZ think the best route to take is to let everyone get infected, so we can build up herd immunity. The problem is that herd immunity isn't possible when people can get reinfected, which is what it's starting to look like based on recent studies :/ Now we just have thousands and thousands of people getting sick every day, and it's super dangerous to go to public places.

I was going to say that doesn't seem like a good plan at all! That sounds terrible, I hope it doesn't get so bad because hospital capacity must be full to the brim by now!!

We just got internet back about an hour ago! :D

And yeah, all my friends who work at hospitals around the state are saying it's a total nightmare. Another one of my friends had a kidney stone and went to the hospital to be treated. The staff were so busy taking care of COVID patients and other extreme cases that they literally left him on the floor (they had no beds left) in a hallway for 6 HOURS while he was in excruciating pain before a doctor could be spared to take care of him. He ended up having bad internal damage to his kidney and bladder because it took them so long to get to him :( It wasn't the doctors' fault either. They didn't have a choice because they had to get to the critical patients first.

Cas is still silently imploding though xD He's convinced that Iris likes Miles now too.

Oh gosh that is so horrible, how is your friend doing now? I hope a lot better, what a horrible experience. I feel so sorry for the doctors and nurses right now who are having to work all this extra to keep people alive.

He's doing better! Just recovering from surgery.

Cas word-vomited a little xD He's probably the most emotional character I've ever made. It's fun to explore all of his feelings, both healthy and unhealthy

No rush! One of my friends just texted me asking to hang out today, so I think I'm going to her house pretty soon. Either that or she's coming to mine. We haven't decided yet, but either way, I'm probably gonna be busy for a while :)
