Anya

@Blade17@Squirrel98

Anya rolled her eyes. There was no way she would let anyone else leave the ship. Sunrise was less than an hour away, meaning that there was only a minuscule chance of the getting back before the departure. Before she could respond, she heard yells coming from the outside. Glancing quickly at Blake, she rushed out onto the upper deck. Quickly approaching Hope, she asked anxiously: '' What's going on? Are we under attack?''

Head Guard Val

@Utrax

Val hurried after the prince while skimming through the Queen's letter. The description seemed to match the ship's exterior and if it was indeed the correct ship, Val had no doubt that scaring the crew wasn't going to help to get them to accompany them to the castle. Slowly catching up with the prince, the guard yelled out:'' Your Highness! At least take the letter''. Knowing that it was too late to stop Tol, the man hoped that at least he would read out the instructions. This is what he feared all along- with the prince enraged, the foreign crew would probably attack and hurt his men. Slowing down, mostly to his lack of energy, he called out, clinging to the last strand of hope that the prince would at least read what the Queen had to say: '' They're guests!''

Marcus

@Utrax

Marcus stood still confused at the whole interaction before chasing after the prince. He had hoped that the group would at least make him show his wares to them as a way of confirming his story and it never crossed his mind that the prince would just take his lie at face value. Everything was going wrong and the crew was in bigger danger than before. With no other option, he yelled out, hoping that the crew would hear him and hide: '' No one is on board. Someone in this town poisoned them and I was the only survivor! I've come seeking revenge for my fellow traders''. It was a bad lie, he could admit, but if the prince believed the trader story, then he would probably believe this one.

The guard's claim confused him. Was it possible that they confused the crew with some other vessel? They certainly weren't invited by anyone and definitely not the queen. What exactly was going on? He faltered slightly but decided to question it later, once the prince stopped trying to get on board.

Blake ran behind anya he looks as well. He heard the yelling as well and having his hand on his sword handle and his other hand his hidden wrists blade popped out he listen to Anya ask hope that and stayed quiet. Hoping they didn't have to fight, but if it came down to it he would.

He came up to the deck after hearing the noise and saw everyone close to the edge. Of course, he wanted to go to them. Of course, he wanted to help them if it came to a fight. However, he simply didn't have the courage. Not anymore. Not since the last fight he ever fought. That's why he decided to slowly walk back to the kitchen. Right in front of the door, he froze as it didn't feel right to hide from everyone and everything. @AnyAlex@Blade17
Hope Hopkins

Tears rolled down her cheeks as she heard the captain yelling at someone and en from their ship. She put both of her hands against her ears. She hated yelling. When Anya came up to her, panicking, Hope looked up to her and removed her right hand from her ear.

"Someone scary is on his way to our ship, but I heard the captain was trying to convince him that there was no one aboard, so maybe we should hide."

She didn't know if hiding was the best thing to do. She didn't know if the other crew members would agree. But she felt the mos comfortable listing to the captain's orders and she also wanted to avoid getting into a fight. @AnyAlex@Blade17

Anya

@Blade17@Squirrel98

Anya scanned the area, trying to figure out what to do. If someone were to invade the ship, the obvious choice would be to defend it but the captain clearly wanted to create an illusion that the ship was abandoned. Her eyes rested on Marcus' quarters. It was above the deck and it was slightly larger than the other quarters due to the fact that it was where the crew gathered to come up with any plans. Luckily, it also housed a number of weapons and some of Marcus' personal items that could no doubt come in useful. Additionally, the door had a window that would allow the crew to monitor the situation outside. It was stained glass so it was unlikely that an enemy would notice that someone was inside at a first glance.

'' If Marcus wants us to hide, then we shall.'' she declared, glancing at Hope with concern. Maybe she would calm down once they were away from the commotion, '' Everyone, let's head to the captain's quarters. That way, if he needs help, we can get to him in time.''

Trying to keep her cool, she walked up to the door and pushed it open. Holding it ajar, she waited for everyone else to enter.

Blake nodded and said," Alright come on everyone in." He held the other door open as well and then looks at anya and said," You think this is going to work?" He asked looking at her then to everyone else who was going in.

'' They're guests!''

'' No one is on board. Someone in this town poisoned them and I was the only survivor! I've come seeking revenge for my fellow traders''

Prince Tol Anzi-de Carragua

@AnyAlex

And this was what made Prince Tol plant his foot, then completely change directions on the spot, suddenly charging back toward Marcus and Val. His hand was on his blade now as he screeched, "Guests? Guests that LIE? I see conflict in these words now-- are you headed home or seeking REVENGE?!" Slowing his walk, Prince Tol officially Drew His Blade-- it unsheathed with a slight glow, being obviously enchanted somehow. "One of you mus explain. Right now. Why I shouldn't begin dissecting YOU, TRADER, for the truth written in your blood," Prince Tol demanded rather... calmly. The change in his demeanor conflicted with the fact he'd halted and taken a fighting stance.

In the distance, that Royal Guard smacked their helmeted face with an armored palm, and spurred their horse to catch up with the group. They shouted, "Prince Tol, by the gods, if you harm that man not even His Majesty will take pity on you!"

Marcus

@Utrax

Well, all of this certainly went south. Marcus could feel the guard's glare at him, but dumbly he answered: '' Technically, I could be both seeking revenge and be returning home. For all you know I could've found the killers and dealt with them already''. For once he was running out of ideas and found himself at a loss. It was nice to know that the prince's parents, for some strange reason, considered them guests although it made this whole ordeal more suspicious. Pointing his crossbow at the prince, slightly intimidated, he inclined his head towards the ship and spoke confidently: '' Investigate the ship if you wish to. I can assure there will be nothing but the objects left behind by my deceased crew''.

Head Guard Val

@Utrax

Val was tired of this entire charade and so were his men, so he stepped in before Marcus could continue, taking a second to point the captain's crossbow away from the prince: ''Ignore him, your highness, he's just a man trying to protect his group of... friends for a lack of a better word. Read the letter and all shall be revealed''. He tossed the letter to Tol, no longer bothering with pleasantries. Without checking if the prince caught it, he turned to the other guard and asked a question he had on his mind ever since he skimmed through the letter: '' How are we to escort this gentleman and his associates back to the castle?''

Prince Tol Anzi-de Carragua

And His Very Tired Guard

In the background, the Prince screeched, "You dare throw things at ME?!"

The Royal Guard approached Val, seeming suddenly exhausted, "I can lead the way but it does appear that there were no specific instructions. As it stands, I figure they should be escorted by you and whatever other Guards we can scrounge up, so as to not let them," the Guard looked at Marcus, "Dart off into the alleyways?"

"I'll have your head for this," the Prince was screeching in tantrum.

Rather respectfully, the Royal Guard approached Marcus, "Sir, please. We're but trying to prevent any sort of misunderstanding. We're about as clueless as you are on the summons and such."

"Are you-- Are you Ignoring me? You-- you're IGNORING ME?!"

Bowing slightly, the Royal Guard, then told Marcus, "And I do apologize on behalf of the Royal Family for the ah. Acts of my illustrious Prince. He is quite cranky without his Evening jaunt through the forest. If you could gather yourself and any others you deem necessary for meeting the King, we will escort you post-haste. Do pardon the hour. This is all so very last minute--"

Prince Tol marched up but at least his sword was sheathed, quite pleasently he interjected, "Hello! Everyone. Tis I, Prince Tol, and I would like to know," he angerily demanded then, "What you're all whispering about over here?!"

Another exhausted sigh left the Royal Guard before they replied, "Your Highness, if you could look to the parchment crumpled in your hand, it will answer all of your questions." The Royal Guard looked to Val and Marcus then said, "We will wait for you here."

Anya

@Blade17@Squirrel98
Anya watched Jack and Hope worriedly, waiting for them to enter the cabin. She knew the pair usually avoided fighting and so she needed to get them away from the action as soon as possible. Motioning at the door, she once again called to the remaining crew members to enter before answering Blake: '' Can't come up with anything else for now. If Marcus needs help I can transform back into water, slip underneath the door and sneak up on whoever he's fighting''. Sure, she would be pretty much sick for the next following week but she was willing to make that sacrifice.

Marcus was amongst one of the best fighters on the crew, with only a couple of members being able to beat him so if he wasn't able to fight off the people on land before coming back onto the ship, then he would certainly need assistance. Rarely did they come to an unknown town, but this was the most convenient, so having to fight the authority here filled her with uncertainly. They had no idea what kind of weapons, magic or soldiers the military used here, so any fight was a gamble. She was considering staying on the deck instead, although she shut down that idea quickly, knowing that she wouldn't be able to come with an excuse if a crew member asked.

Marcus

@Utrax

Marcus struggled to hold back a chuckle after hearing the alleyway comment. If only the guard knew what happened during the past few hours. Self-consciously, he looked down at the bag holding the stolen goods before looking back at the man. More than happy to ignore the prince (like others seemed to be doing as well), he shook his head and sincerely spoke: '' Of course. This night was long and tiring and I'm sure we all would like to get to the bottom of this issue''. Putting his crossbow back into the sack, he smiled at the guard and carried on:'' We will come with you willingly as long as you will allow us to bring our weapons. You see, I and my crew don't know what to expect once we arrive and you out all people must understand how someone in charge must think of the safety of those below him''. Bowing mockingly when the prince approached, he awaited the royal guard's response with a lukewarm grin. For all, he knew they were apprehending them to execute them. At least if they were permitted to bring weapons, that would suggest that they weren't planning on killing them right away.

On the one hand, he was happy that they were supposed to hide and not fight (yet). He didn't want to fight, because it made him remember some bad events, but it didn't feel right to stand at the side like a useless idiot either. On the other hand, he wasn't too fond of the fact that he and Anya would be in the same room, so close to each other. However, he put both of his hands in the pockets of his pants and entered the captain's quarters. @AnyAlex@Blade17
Hope Hopkins

When she noticed that the others had already entered the captain's quarters, she took her hands of her ears and she took a deep breath. Her wings spread as she slowly and softly flew into the room with the other crew members. At least, she wouldn't witness any fights when hiding back there. She sat on the ground with her back against one of the walls. Her eyes closed as she focused on her breathing. If it came to a fight, she needed to save her energy in order to heal the other crew members. @AnyAlex@Blade17

Blake watched as crew members entered and then he looks at Anya and said," Alright but im taking the high ground im going to be above them." He looks st the tallest side net that reached the crow's nest. He looks at Anya and said," get inside," With that he quickly ran to the net ladder and climbed it. Once he got to a high enough vantage point he was practically invisible because of how dark it is.

Javier still training his bow on the prince he was sure things are going to get ugly pretty fast rn. He was thinking one shot to the princes arm or leg or stomach was sure that was going to send all the men running.

Prince Tol Anzi-de Carragua

And His Very Tired Guard

"NO!" Shouted the Prince.
"You are permitted to bring weapons," responded the Royal Guard, in a tone that suggested fearlessness. Of course they could bring weapons. It wasn't as if they were a threat anyway. Sometimes, the guard wondered why exactly they were guarding either of the Royals in the first place-- if anything, they would handle threats far better than their swords and shields could. With a shrug, the Royal Guard snapped at Prince Tol, "Your Highness. You understand the King's policy better than anyone. He wants his guests comfortable-- even if they insist on bringing in a rabid Wilpaq." Prince Tol seemed to sulk then as he crossed his arms and stared at the ground. "I'll go get my HORSE," he growled, shoving past the Royal Guard.

Marcus

@Utrax@Squirrel98@Blade17
''I wish you luck with your quest, your majesty!'' yelled out Marcus after Tol, satisfied to have him out of the way. It seemed like he was looking for a confrontation and Marcus was certainly not in the mood to fight. His arms were worn out after carrying the stolen goods the whole night and he ached for a moment of rest. He turned to the guard, who he felt pity for after seeing one of the people he worked for acting like a child: ''Thank you for understanding kind, sir. I will try to return as soon as possible''

The fearlessness in the guard's voice concerned him slightly. Any normal person would be somewhat wary, even suspicious of anyone who requested to bring in a weapon to a castle. Nonetheless, he wasn't going to question it. If he lingered too long, they might use other means to get him to the castle (the brutish prince would probably enjoy using force to transport them) and they could be hanged for disobeying the royal family. Saluting to the guard, he strolled on board, only to pause in shock. It took a moment for him to regain his bearings and when he did he demanded:'' What in the seven seas are you all doing?!''

The ship was in a disarray. No one bothered to clean the upper deck, half of the crew was in his PRIVATE chambers, and Blake for some foolish reason was halfway through climbing towards the crow's nest. Angrily he ordered: ''Everyone onto the deck! I have some news. Don't touch anything in my quarters unless you want to be stuck on the cleaning duty.''

Anya

@Blade17@Squirrel98

Anya nodded at Hope and Jack as they entered. It looked like it was going to be a tight fit but she was sure that they could make it work. She was growing more worried about the girl, but it wasn't the first time a fight broke out near or on the ship, and the nymph knew Hope could handle her self. Still, she was considering sneaking her below deck so she could calm down away from the commotion. There was no time though.

Watching Blake climb towards the crow's nest annoyed Anya. First of all, it was going against the plan, and second of all the crow's nest was HER area. Off-limits. No visitors allowed. Besides the sun was starting to rise. From the angle the ship was situated, the shadow cast by the pole and the nest would be visible on the docks, meaning that Blake's shadow would be visible too once the sun rose. It was too late to stop him though but at least she could try protecting her lookout box. She whisper-shouted:'' Stay out of the nest or I'll make you spend the night there. Then you'll see why the cabin boys hate the lookout duty and...''

She was interrupted by Marcus emerging onto the boat. Awkwardly she repeated the instruction to gather onto the deck to the rest of the crew, not too eager to find out what Marcus had to say.

Blake looks down and thought crap. He climbed back down to the deck and looks at the captain. He seems pissed. He also heard anya what she said, but didn't say anything as he got back down quickly and stood there.

Javier putting away his crossbow looks on as he climbed down from the roof and walked onto the ship.

Jack sighed deeply when he heard the voice of the captain. He didn't sound too satisfied and at that point, Jack wouldn't try to interfere of talk back to him. Jack simply walked out of the chamber and went to sat against the door that lead to the kitchen. He didn't care much about what the captain had to say, but the least he could do was listen. @AnyAlex@Blade17
Hope Hopkins

Hope opened her eyes quickly when she heard the captain yelling. She stood up and slowly flew outside of the room, only to see the captain alone and not in a fight. She sighed relieved and felt more comfortable being on the deck again. She stopped wit covering her ears with her hands and had a soft smile on her face. "What's wrong, Dove?" She said as she held up the peace signs with her hands once again. @AnyAlex@Blade17

Marcus

@Squirrel98@Blade17

Marcus tapped his foot impatiently as he waited for the crew to gather. He held his hand up in an attempt to silence anyone who was talking, before he began speaking, in a slightly irritated tone: '' Now, I'm not going to question why you were in my private quarters. I'm the one who didn't lock them so there's no reason to punish you for my lack of foresight''. He paused for a second to glance inside the room to see if anything was moved or taken. Relived that everything seemed to be in place, he continued: ''Anyone who left the ship at any point ever since we arrived will accompany me to the castle. There's an issue we need to sort out and I wouldn't mind some back-up. Bring your weapons''. Done with the initial explanation, he considered ending the instructions there but knowing the crew members, the captain ultimately decided to add: '' We will be travelling with the royal guards and the prince. Don't do anything that would get us hanged, don't attack unless I say so. You have five minutes to get ready''.

Feeling like he said all that needed to be said, Marcus dropped off his bag near the ship's wheel. At least he could relax his arms during the time the crew members prepared to leave. Leaning against the edge of the ship, he awaited the unavoidable questions which he would do his best to deflect until he figured out what was going on.

@Blade17

Anya chuckled dryly: '' I doubt you have any choice in the matter, dear. I'm quite sure the captain saw us leave the ship- we did run off before him''. Looking through her pockets, she scanned her current possessions to see what she should leave behind. Gently she took out her astrolabe and placed it on the wooden table the cabin boys must've set up while they were gone. She couldn't risk breaking it, especially since it was so old. Putting her brass knuckles on, she decided to entertain herself by attempting to get some more information out of Marcus, despite knowing that her attempts would most likely be in vain.

He sighed deeply. He left the ship, so he had to come with the rest. However, he really wished that he wouldn't need to fight. Although he was quite skilled at it, he had abandonned fighting a long time ago. He didn't take any weapons with him, he simply waited at the centre of the deck for the others to get ready to leave. @AnyAlex@Blade17
Hope Hopkins

Her bright smile faded as Hope listened to the annoyed tone of her captain. When he was done talking, she took a place beside him. Sitting on the edge of the ship with her wings spread behind her and her hands leaning on the edge to make sure she wouldn't fall off, she looked at the man.

"It'll be fine, Dove!"

She was wiggling her legs and smiling brightly once again, hoping she could cheer him up. She didn't know what he was worrying about, but they would find a solution to the problem, they always did. Even though she wasn't able to fight and she didn't have any weapons, since she had left the ship too, she guessed that she should come with him and the other crew members, based on the announcement. @AnyAlex@Blade17

He looks at her and said," Oh Anya i forgot i found this for you besides the yarn of course." He handed her the map to the treasure of Blackbeard.
He looks at the others.
