This Roleplay is remotely an alternate universe continuum of the Raildex Series. Events of the canon are alluded but may have also played out in a similar fashion which won't affect the flow of our established storylines. With the aforesaid facts, our story is one of the rare result specimens alluding Aleister Crowley's influence about hybrid projects but he won't be the head chairman.
Our roleplay agenda will be focused on story driven arcs along with character driven focus. We'll be having interactive pacing regardless of free mode or story mode. Don't bother asking me about creating high end characters like the Level 5s and Saints, I will choose people who I want to be a powerhouse like them suitable for the story. Lastly, the current society is not so different from the canon, just more accepting of differences whether you're a Cyborg, Esper or Magician. We will unravel more about our purposes beyond simple reasons why we chose this school.

Don't confuse the Cyborg class from the canonical iteration of the Light Novels. In this Roleplay, Cyborgs mean two variants: Mark I and Mark II. The first variant are regular humans who utilize hard counter weapons to deter Espers and possibly Magicians although it's difficult to deal with Magicians. The Second Variant is cyberkinetic implants that will also counter Espers. This is to enforce that our characters are not invincible and can be taken down by the right tools and tricks.
Types of Characters
Beware the teachers...
Student:Most of the characters will be this. . There is a limit of 1 OC person (exceptions allowed), but I rather you make one character that you can control freely over multiple ones that will harm individual character development. Please refrain from making them part of the same family or extremely close (ones that you make, not with other people). I will ask for you to remove of some of the characters when that happens.
[Limited] Teacher: Most or all the teachers are more powerful than student characters. They will be semi-active and will not be allowed to participate in many battles. They are generally unrestrained in the development of their powers, but the more powerful they are, the less likely they are allowed to participate in battles. They will guide and teach the students new techniques, while many will be connected to certain events. The GM Team or I will probably hold most of the teacher type characters.
[Available] Antagonist: Will also be powerful, depending on the type. Returning characters should be weak in the start so there will be room for improvement. Keep in mind that I used the word antagonist instead of villain or bad guy. PM me regarding this.
NPC: Like the name says, these characters are NPCs. You may create as many as needed and interact with them all you want, but please do not go overboard. NPCs could be other students, teachers, and Hybrids. Most of the antagonists would probably be NPCs controlled by me. As well, if someone made/has control of a NPC, it is better not to control them yourself, as it can cause confusion when being used back and forth.
Other: There probably won't be a lot of characters that fall into this category. Depending on what you want, you might be able to make this type of character. The first four should cover most of the characters you want though.
General Rules
- No godmodding
- No perfect characters (Mary Sue and Gary Stu)
- Listen to the GMs and Co-GMs
- One-lining not acceptable
- Beware the gore. Take whatever smut to PMs.
- Respect everyone. Please do not argue (OOC. Do what you need if it is IC). I will kick anyone who break my rules under a three strike rule, don't test my patience.
- RPG rules apply.
- Some humor. As long as you have humour, all the other requirements listed aren't as important. Not really needed but this is lively factor! I'm talking about Player Bond.
- Some knowhow of A Certain Magical Index and/or Scientific Railgun series. It helps in the long run (as long as you have seen the anime and manga, you have just as much canon information as I do ^^ just ask or wiki the rest and novels the better.)
- Read the opening posts, please. It'll help all of us in the long run. A summary is available for those who hate walls of text (guilty ^^)
- Do not Metagame even the slightest. It's easy to use information that is not IC, so tread carefully.
- A regular posting schedule. I don't expect everyone to post everyday, but if you're going to post periodically and infrequently, it'll only cause problems with the people RPing with you.
- Last but not least. Charisma and Cooperation.
