Seems like her idea was a major hit with the crowd. They're going to her shop after breakfast. She can taste the sugar already. Pretty much everyone volunteered to go with her. It was a test, which she had to agree with Katie that it wasn't much of test if it's so close to the diner. They'll be able to test their teamwork skills at least. She doesn't have any doubt that it'll work out. She took a seat at the counter, sipped her hot tea, and watched Karen make a plan to go from Honey Sugar, to Gibby's place, and the truck stop on the other side of town. In terms of the models it wasn't too bad. She could picture each place in her head. The short stop back to the was a part of it, but it's to get everyone else that's staying behind on look out.

"Other than candy, there's paper towels and toilet paper for the staff bathroom, a toolbox, other miscellaneous stuff. If a business needs it, then we probably have it." She couldn't think of everything off the stop of her head. All those things were in the back in case of emergencies. Something breaks and needs a quick fix, etc. "Maybe chips and popcorn..." Those things don't really sell, because it's cheaper to get it at the mart a few blocks down. "We'll see what else is there when we check it out."

Location: Jenkin's Diner. Rushford, OH

Dash wasn't one to stick his own neck out or even his own ideas, especially in a time like this with the world in shambles. So as he sipped his cup of coffee silently, the group managed to conjure up some crazy idea about preparing for a move out of the diner. It was a solid idea, as he knew for a fact that they couldn't stay there forever, but he wanted to imagine a fantasy situation that they could have.

The plan was simple enough, to have someone looking out and scanning the area, while a group heads to the candy shop for the supplies that were hopefully there. Volunteers were already jumping at the mission ahead, and Dash hesitated. Sure, like everyone else he wanted to earn his keep, but he sure as hell didn't want to die either if he volunteered for the risky mission.

Lena and Kenny were the first to volunteer for the candy shop, and it was suggested that Henry would be on the rooftop with his binoculars. With the obvious choice of wanting to stay at the diner, Dash gulped down what he felt like would be his last cup of coffee, finally chimed in.

"I can come with," Dash said, "to the candy store."

Henry looked around aimlessly. He moved to a booth, and climbed up to the top of the table with a slow push and a hop. He looked at his electronic binoculars and horse horn and wondered why he ended up with these things being in his inventory. The binoculars were useful enough, but the horn was a little on the silly side of things. Then, he become more alert and tuned in and listened to the news: there was going to be a march. He said a yeehaw to himself and smiled. That was an apocalyptic smile. There was so much emotion as he cocked his head and rotated his lips.

"I need a cup of coffee," he said. It was a happy move. He didn't hear anyone say anything about him having the extra coffee, which told Henry everybody was feeling something. Quickly, he distilled a half cup of black coffee and swallowed it fast. He raised his voice some, and gleefully said, "I can definitely watch you. But, that's all I can do. Who is going?"
