@Fetzen Well, I'd rather you stay considering I think you're a great RPer and writer, so I'll tell you what. If you come up with another character at any point, or want to revise Arden, do it and you'll be at the front of the line.

I'd be open to the conditions, if that's what it takes to be accepted. Having another character to bounce off always helps, I can imagine the interactions between Cillian and Sylvaine to be entertaining, as well as going some way to compliment each others skillset. Of course it largely depends on Duck also being on board, but it's a thumbs up from me @POOHEAD189 and thank you for (pseudo) having me

You know I appreciate your writing style. I have read some of your book and it is good for what I have seen. I recommended only one minor change early on. I suggest we begin with a collaboration between the two of us. I know this is Advanced Roleplay so it will introduce our characters in a big way. We can talk about this in a PM--write on Google docs.

Ok! So now that we're all here, I will begin the RP ASAP. Either later tonight if I can, or tomorrow night, I will begin the adventures of a few of you. Which means either tomorrow night or before the weekend, the other half of you will be given your post. I wish I had the time to post for everyone at once, but we have about 5 different individuals or groups so that would be beyond my formidable powers at the moment.

Remember to roll or ask questions freely, because chances are you will miss out on something that could aid your adventure if your character isn't curious on their surroundings or things they stumble on. However, equally as important is a warning you need to be cautious. I will kill your character if they're blatantly foolish of if they continue to fail in a deadly roll, so choose your battles wisely!

Also, you can split up groups or form larger ones at anytime. I expect at some point all of you will meet. I just ask you stay in your assigned groups for a bit so I can actually have time to post. Thanks!

Second, a question: In our introduction, am I correct to assume that Sylvaine and Cillian are still in Vrettonia, or at least thereabouts? If so, could it be possible that Sylvaine recognizes the leader of the soldiers at the gate from her days with her fathers company?

Third, does everyone speak Northern? I might have missed this somehow, as I invested a point into linguistics to be able to speak it. If so, may I relocate the point or choose another language to speak?

@DuckSure, you may buy another language! Also I can't say you know the fellow, seeing as he isn't a soldier. He's merely holding the pen and quill and he decides who does or does not enter. But if you'd like to roll any of your main or advanced stats to get an edge somehow, feel free. But yes, you're on the Vrettonian and Andredian border.

@POOHEAD189Did I miss a map someplace? I'm sure you must know where everything is in your mind, but I haven't seen a map. As a Cartophile, it is driving me crazy. Also, would you mind if Flagg and I included a few NPCs? Instead of a group of two, we would be a group of five?

Could it be possible that there might have been some skirmish or other between the Vrettonians and the Andredians in which the mercenary company Sylvaines father commanded was somehow involved? I'm trying to figure out an angle of approach.

@Gunther The whole point of the RP is that you're entering a very unexplored area and you learn about it. Even if I did make a map I'd have to leave a lot of it blank. Yes there are settlements and one or two cities, but mostly it is vast and relatively unknown. I might make a map later but at the moment everyone is just entering this country-sized forest.

Um, about rolls, I'm still a bit uncertain about how they'll work and when they're needed. The OOC mostly just covers combat rolls. How do we know if we need to roll something? Where do we do the rolling (I just did Mari's money rolls using a Discord bot)? Are we just going on an honor system for rolls? Sorry, just thought I'd ask now rather than rush ahead and need to edit something.

When in doubt, roll. If Mari is about to go down a ravine, you should roll balance or anything that seems prudent, and put the roll in a hider below your post (or tell me the roll if you need to roll before you post). You always roll a D8, though if you have proficiency in something like balance, you add a plus 1. Yes it's an honor system, I trust all of you.

You can use anything to roll, but if you need a site, use this.
