I've been roleplaying for about 8 years now, but I've been out of the game for a bit and I'm looking to get back into it, so here I am. I've been around a few different sites, some good, some bad, one of them got attacked by bots. That was a day... anyways, I've dabbled in various genres, but my favourite would have to be good old medieval fantasy. Can't go wrong with the classics. I'm always drawn to interesting ideas though so if there's anything that catches my interest, it doesn't matter what the genre is so long as it's fun. I might also create my own rp when inspiration strikes. Got a few ideas bouncing around in my head right now actually, but it's hard to choose as I'm sure anyone here can understand.

In any case, I'm comfortable roleplaying 1x1 or in a group at any level of writing. The only thing is that I tend to be a bit slow when it comes to posting due to irl commitments. I can post once a day at the very most, but two or three times a week is more my natural speed, so please bear with me if my posting frequency drops off at any point.

Asides from roleplaying, my hobbies include videogames, watching shows, listening to music and exercise, though I've been slowing down on that since the whole covid situation started. Anyways, whether it comes to the roleplay or simply chatting about random stuff, I'll be looking forward to hanging out with you all.

As a moderator here, I’m trying to keep the bots at bay, (although the rest of the team is far more efficient at that).

I think a lot of us can be slow; I’ve just had a jam packed 4-5 weeks and am only just getting back into the thick of things, so don’t worry too much!

What are some of your RP ideas? :)

As for rp ideas, off the top of my head...

1. Dragon rider themed medieval fantasy roleplay centered around a conflict between two major forces: an alliance of humans, elves, dwarves, orcs and beastfolk vs an empire of human supremacists. There'll be a whole magic system, a lot of lore involved, factions, politics, but the roleplay will mainly be from the alliance's perspective and its cadre of dragon riders.

2. Another medieval fantasy thing, this time about a group of knights known as 'Armsmen' who serve as bodyguards and enforcers for their ruler, a descendant of the legendary figure known only as 'the Hero' who slew all the dragons enslaving humanity throughout the world hundreds of years ago. Only thing is, nothing has changed since the Hero's descendants just ended up taking the place of the dragons and the Armsmen receive a portion of their power in return for lifelong servitude. They must fight on their ruler's behalf against enemy nations, rebellious elements and other Armsmen from rival kingdoms, and the roleplay will basically be about how they deal with all that.

3. A sci-fi roleplay with fantasy elements about a group of agents known as 'Arbiters' who use their powers to hunt down other empowered individuals who have used their abilities for illegal purposes throughout the megacity called 'Ishtar'. Abilities include psionics like telekinesis and telepathy, control over the elements, shapeshifting and healing, and then there's the whole advanced tech aspect that might as well be a form of magic itself.

4. Another sci-fi thing I'll definitely be calling 'Fimbulvetr' if I follow through with making it. Gist of it is the world's completely frozen and all of humanity lives underground, but signs of that coming to an end has been detected on the surface and a group of explorers within cybernetic bodies known as 'Alters' must venture out to find a habitable place where humanity can call home. Not only do they have to contend with the elements, but also the strange and almost alien lifeforms that now inhabit the surface since the world froze over many thousands of years ago. This can either be a 1 x 1 or group roleplay.

And those are probably my most developed ideas so far.
