- Captain Heinz Kraus is a solidly built, bow legged, thick chested farmer turned cavalry commander. He is notable for his gruff attitude and bushy black moustache.

- Tall, broad shouldered, and a veteran of the Imperial Army, Corporal Heine has retained his present rank due to "differences with command". Sporting a neatly trimmed beard and always quick with a joke or grin, he is popular among those who serve under him.

- Almost boyish in his appearance, Trooper Sperber is a serious chap when sober, and a clown when drunk. With short blonde hair that tufts up in the front and china blue eyes he looks like your little brother. Poor lad likely doesn't even shave yet.
- Trooper Tolman is from a merchant family that has traditionally done business throughout the Empire. Brought up on horseback, he is easily among the finest riders in the regiment. Tall and whip thin, he had earned the nickname "Reed". The man is as bald as a cannonball.
