Hello and welcome to my post!
I promise the length of this post is worth it.
Over the last few days, I have been digging through my roleplaying game PDF collection and I missed playing them. So, I came up with the idea of using them to make some original plots with the books as inspiration. I do not want to play as a GM since I find that boring. The plots are left open-ended for the most part.
Before we get to my plot ideas, here is what you can expect from me as a partner:
I enjoy the following themes
History, Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi, Mecha, Romance, Superhero.
My plot ideas are based on different tabletop RPG settings and books. For reference, a few of them, are:
Call of Cthulu
The Roman Setting and the Classic 1920s setting are two of my favorites
Delta Green
I like to think of this one as its own setting.
Lancer
An excellent Mecha RPG that is more Titanfall and Firefly than Mobile Suit Gundam.
Masks
I love Superhero plots.
Now onto two plots:
The Forbidden City
(Influences: Call of Cthulu, Delta Green, Myst, Indiana Jones, SCP Wiki )
Legends speak of an ancient city in the middle of the desert. The city is so old that none can even remember the name. The stories tell of a powerful people who came from beyond and built the city as if by magic. The stories tell of great beasts created and commanded by the People and how they came to rule the local area. The stories all agree that something terrible happened there and suddenly the city was gone.
Many years later, satellite images returned the image of ruins in the desert that had not been there before. The three organizations: ORION (UK), M-EPIC (Canada), and the COMPANY (America), send agents to ruins to investigate. However, all contact has been lost with the team except for one message "We... hunger...". Now a new team of two (or more) agents is being sent to ruins to determine what has transpired.
(This plot is about heading to the city and determining what exactly happened in the City. Your character or characters can be whoever you want. )
Tales from the Universe
(Influences: Titanfall, The Expanse, Firefly, Battlemech)
The Union has fallen. After years of bitter wars with the Chainless Rebellion, the Union was finally defeated. Cradle, now renamed back to Tera, has been reclaimed for all of humanity. However, everything is not perfect. With the fall of the Union, regional warlords have appeared to claim parts of the galaxy for themselves. Noble houses, former Union military leaders, Corporations with their private militaries, and bandits are all fighting for dominion in this time of confusion. Using the powerful Frames (mecha), these people fight throughout the stars for dominion. All the while, the Distal Wars threaten to restart as ancient enemies eye the weakened state.
This means, that there is plenty of work for all sorts of mercenary types. Everyone needs people who can pilot, kill, and ask as few questions as possible. This is why it's odd when a strange collection of help wanted posters to start showing up around the stations. The Firebirds need You to help us win the day! Must have own Frame. Who are these people? Who are you?
Astounding Tales from Halcyon City! Craving
Halcyon City is a rather normal city. It has high towers and low slums. There is a subway and there are commuters in them. Then there are the constant alien invasions, the attacks by mad scientists, and the heroes that fight these threats. Yes, Halcyon City is a bizarre city. It is one of the largest cities on Earth and has the largest population of Metahumans on Earth. No one quite knows what draws them there but there they are. There are groups who wonder about the future of the city but they seem to stay quiet.
I do love heroic settings but I do not like set universes. I find I am terrible at playing Loki x OC and all that jazz. That is why I decided to make my own universe with its own rules and heroes. It is based on multiple different sources but the main theme is comic books. I prefer the lighter kind of comics. There will be no organs being removed by a single punch (not as all the time). I can do a little darker but I get sick of stories that are not DARKER AND EDGIER for the sake of it. I hate grimdark for the sake of it.
Themes: Action, Adventure, Romance, and other such comic book themes.
Plot ideas: The main theme of this setting is that there
Some Premade characters:
All of these characters can fit just about anywhere. I can use them anywhere or I could use a few at the same time.
Craving this one
Craving using this one.
Plot ideas:
Hero x Friend
Hero's child x Villian's child
Hero x Hero
Any kind of plot. I just love this setting.
Thanks for reading! Hit me up with interest or a similar plot idea!

Before we get to my plot ideas, here is what you can expect from me as a partner:
- I love any gender-based plots (except FxF because I am terrible at female characters). However, most of my guys are bisexual and I am flexible.
- Smut is fine so long as it is not too nasty. I cannot deal with child abuse, incest, and bathroom anything.
- I am not a grammar nazi. So don't be afraid and I prefer low to high casual length. Any longer than that and I tend to start rambling.
- I cannot play female characters because I am terrible at it. I can, however, play a wide range of male characters.
- Please be over 18 since some of my plots are mature in nature. I am 25.
- I can post as often as is needed. I tend to post a lot.
- I prefer PMs over threads.
