The planet that used to exist as earth has been populated with alien
races for century's now. Without being forewarned of
aliens, the planet's world leaders had made the transition of accepting the appearances of aliens easier
thanks to on going terraforming plans that have been made prior to the alien's more pronounced appearances.
Land bridges connected the world aiding in the saturation and mixing of the populous exposure of these new
races. With strife fueled by racism diminishing over time thanks to the world connections
through communicative technologies, the populous has mainly reached harmony, but that has come to an end.
The origins of how these aliens came to earth can be summed up with one word 'portals'. Some anomaly has
been spitting up creatures all over the planet leaving them unconscious or dead apon arriving. After three
centuries of the aliens coming to earth the portals have diminished and no longer brought with it new
arrivals. Many species had died out, but some, thanks to their charisma and especially through their
genetics were able to make families with humans over the centuries. Humans can be disgustingly accepting
of many things.
Throw in a few more centuries aliens and humans coexist. The portals that have become been
history have resurfaced and has been releasing monsters with and without mind, animalistic and having wits.
These new arrivals began their onslaught without mercy, but some have been found to tease victims like toys.
All efforts to defend against these monster have been unsuccessful, beyond continually relocating to temporary
havens. These monsters don't lose limbs when blasted with explosives, but at this point they might as well
be able to regenerate if it were possible to do any harm to them. In hopes to try and close these new portals
teams sought out any open portals they could, but alas portals shut immediately after dispersing a single
entity. Someone had once been able to toss an object into one, but the object appeared to rip apart apon entry.
