Personal Style: She sometimes still falls back into the nicer sort of appearance that she used to. Blouses and nice pants, that sort of thing. However now a days she's more often then not wearing somewhat loose clothing, and most of the time there is some sort of dirt and grim on the clothes themselves, typically from her messing with machines. For the most part she stopped truly caring about how she really appears to others, but she will wear nicer clothes when she knows that she's going to meet people, after that though she's back to a slightly messier appearance.

Personality: Miranda as an older adult she has more or less calmed slightly in the amount of time since she last truly appeared. She's not impulsive anymore, at least not as much as she used to be and takes a relatively calm approach to most things. However she has become far less outgoing and is more reserved and quiet as the time and experiences in her life have changed that much about her. She is still stubborn as all hell and even despite her more quiet demeanor will hold her ground, and has done so in arguments with Magneto over certain things.
This stubborn streak goes hand in hand with her being a bit easy to anger, and she will fight over certain things, and if you annoy her she will fight you back and snap. Despite this, she is a fairly friendly individual and will act kindly to just about everyone else that she meets unless they give her a good excuse for why she shouldn't be. Miranda is still an intellectual, she has brains and won't hesitate to use them when the need arises for them.

How did you discover your powers: Miranda was 15 years old when she discovered her powers. She had been helping to clean out the attic of their house, planning on getting rid of some of the old stuff, things that 10 years before her mother had left behind, as well as anything else they needed to get rid of. She found an old painting, and it made her curious as to where it had come from, when suddenly she went into a trance-like state, and saw the entire history of the painting play out for her like a movie, and her brothers had to snap her out of it. That night, when she fell asleep, she started dreaming, but after only a few minutes, she was shaken awake by someone, as it turned out, she had been creating holograms of her dream. They couldn't hurt anyone, but they had almost seemed like they were there. She knew she had to hide her powers as best as she could, but it was hard with 5 brothers who liked to mess with her as a joke, and cause her to use her powers.
General History: Miranda was born as the youngest of a total of 7 kids, and unfortunately, was the only girl among them. Her mother abandoned the family when she was 5 years old, and her father worked hard to support the family, meaning that he was hardly around. This resulted in her being raised more by her older brothers, Jeremy, Jason, the twins Tristan and Tim, Marcus, and Matthew. They tended to treat her as if she was a baby and a lot younger than she actually was, Matthew who was the closest in age to her was only two years older then her.
The odd thing was that she was actually the closest to her oldest brother Jeremy, despite there being a 10 year age gap between the two of them. He acted almost more like a father to her at times instead of a brother, and she was fine with that. Her other brothers weren't exactly very nice to her, treating her poorly and like she had no mind of her own. Even though that was clearly false, as it became apparent that she had a brain that seemed to work better then theirs.
When she was 10 years old, Jeremy enlisted in the army. She didn't want to see him go, but there wasn't much else she could do. He was an adult, and he wanted to leave, and she understood that. Before he left, he bought her a locket, and gave it to her, telling her he wants to see what she put in it when he got home. Problem was, he never came back, dying on the battlefield. She felt so alone, being left with the siblings who didn't really care much about her, but she didn't know what else she could do. There wasn't anyone else who she felt truly cared so she just went with whatever life seemed to throw at her.
She threw herself into her schooling, easily becoming the top of her class no matter what the subject was, but especially when it came to any sort of science. It seemed that was just how her brain worked, and it annoyed her brothers to no end, since it seemed clear that she might be more intelligent then they were despite their protests. It was nice for her to find something that she was good at, something that her brothers did poorly at, and it was something she found that she enjoyed.
When she discovered her powers when she was 15 years old, things seemed to take a turn for the worst in her family. She was mocked by her brothers, and then they would try to find ways for her powers to trigger. In one case, it got so bad for her that she ended up unconscious in a hospital as her mind tried to filter through everything she had been seeing about the past. After she graduated high school, she started going towards the idea of getting a college degree, but she didn't have the money for it, so she became a waitress and that was what she was doing when she was found and approached by Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr.
The pair were attempting to shut down a whacked out government project, and she ended up going along with the two of them to deal with it. She befriended another girl there who was only a year or so younger then she was, Ellie Theriot. Eventually, things went a bit south as Miranda on one of their sort of expeditions in trying to stop the project, she ended up getting caught. The humans who had caught her dug needles into her brain in order to try and figure out how her mental powers worked. She ended up getting saved but not before nearly ending up in a coma again from her powers, and not before it messed with her a bit mentally from the experience. When Erik and Charles parted ways, she chose to go with Erik, and the pair eventually started a bit of a relationship.
Over the years, she has mainly stayed with the Brotherhood, though more of as a support person as opposed to straight up being involved. So her involvement with the group was fairly lowkey and no one really knew that she was even working with them. Unlike many though, she did have moments where she'd break off from the group and go do her own sort of thing. Like the instance where she went and got herself a college degree in Aerospace Engineering. It was a bit of a strange major, but she left the Brotherhood long enough to get her degree, but afterwards she did eventually go back to the group.
There was one other real moment where Miranda was off and away from the group for more then a few months at a time. This moment though resulted in her being away and broken up with Magneto for several years. She and Erik had been arguing, and it was another moment in their relationship where they were off again and this time though, she left the Brotherhood for a while. The reason? Towards the end off 1993 she discovered that she was pregnant, and she didn't want any child she had to be raised in the Brotherhood. Despite what many might think, Miranda wasn't too thoroughly involved or invested in what it was that the Brotherhood did, yet she chose to stay. She didn't want any kid she might have to not get that choice.
After leaving the Brotherhood, she took refuge in Seattle, Washington, the other side of the country, and had her son. She was upset at the prospect of giving her child up, but she wanted him to have a better life, and so she left her son Frederick with a good family and ran away. Wanting to put as much distance between her son and Magneto, she chose to spend more time away from the Brotherhood, to hopefully not draw away anymore suspicion with regards as to why she had left suddenly without so much as a word.
In 1999, she ended up at that year's Stark Expo. Miranda had always wanted to go, but due to being with the Brotherhood had never been able to go. While there she had struck up a conversation who turned out to be none other then Tony Stark himself, and the pair started talking. That conversation eventually turned into more then that, as she ended up in a relationship with someone else for the first time in her life, and despite Stark having a bit of a reputation as a playboy, they actually lasted for a while with their relationship, and eventually she found out she was pregnant. Now, Miranda was thinking that there was a chance that she'd be able to be there for her daughter, even though she couldn't be there for her son. Things were fine for the first year or two after Guin was born, but eventually her past caught up to her. Namely her past with regards to what they had done in the 80s and the government program she had aided in forcibly shutting down. After talking about it with Tony, she figured that it was best for her to leave, and for Guin to stay with him, and she disappeared again.
In a little less then a decade, she had lost not one, but two children, because of the life that she had been living. And once more, she was all alone and had no where to go. This resulted in her going back once more to the Brotherhood, despite the several years at this point that it had been, and went back. Upon returning, she found out that over the course of her departure from the organization, Erik had ended up together with someone else, having a relationship before she disappeared without a trace. Miranda thought back on her own experience of leaving, and thought that perhaps something similar to that might have happened. It wasn't until years later that she learned that the woman, Magda, much like her had left and had children who were Erik's. Those two being the twins Wanda and Pietro, who Miranda once she had met them tried to take care of them and help them out whenever they needed her, almost acting like a mother to them.
She had completely lost contact with the family that had adopted her son after the first few years, but she did stay in relative contact with Tony, who eventually became a superhero in his own right, so she knew how Guin was doing as the years went by. Miranda however did get annoyed more then a few times when the Brotherhood's antics threatened her daughter in some way, like when they attacked the boarding school she was at and other confrontations she ended up later having with the Brotherhood when she worked for SHIELD and later the X-Men.
When Wanda warped reality and created the world of House of M, Miranda was one of the few who knew that the world wasn't real. Thing is, she remembered both realities, and new which one was the real one. However, she played along for the most, sticking with her memories of the false world, where she was a lot more confident and outspoken like she used to be, and didn't really have any sort of anxiety issues like she does really. Her memories allowed her to know what was real, but fall back on the fake reality's version of her so it wasn't clearly obvious, and she almost seemed like a completely different person because of it. Though when she saw her chance to right the world she took it, even though it technically meant that she ended up killing Magneto in that reality, at least he didn't remember it. And she planned to keep it that way for as long as possible.
When it comes to Genosha, Miranda has only really known the basics of everything, as she left all of those dealings to Erik, as he was a member of the Hellfire Club, and she wasn't. She wasn't too sure if she agreed fully with how the group went about doing things, but she did like the outcome that was being achieved. A place where mutants didn't have to worry about the things growing up that she had had to deal with, and that was all that really mattered.
