Jesse paused...as did a lot of other pedestrians who were there at the time. As strange as it was for a portal to open in the sky, some simply only glanced, then went on their way. It was a bustling city, and no boss would take “a hole in the sky” as an excuse.

But Jesse was not only baffled by what had just occurred. He didn’t understand...most of what Ash had just said.

“Was that some kind of waster language? Who’s Rork and Tattoo?” Jesse focused on the important part though “And an exit? I’m wondering the same thing.”

John was a confused man as a portal opened over the city area as he started to fall and landed at least on a soft patch. His recovery time was going to be a bit.

"Ow, SHIT! Where am I? What time am I?" He winced as he pushed himself up looking around. This was no longer the man vs machine war he expected but this time had actual buildings that weren't crushed by Judgement Day, nukes or terminators.

John Connor wasn't going to make himself a target though. He muttered underneath his breath.

While they were talking, Tee decided to survey the area to see if his friend, Valon was here or not.

Valon had been wandering around aimlessly, but after a bit of this, he had reached three people and thought one of them looked familiar. He walked a bit closer. Luckily for him, the gnome turned around and saw him.

"That's the friend I was talking about." Said Tee.

Valon looked up at Jesse and Ash. "Hi." He said.

Ash was about to smart off again, but was interrupted by a large flash of what looked like a portal of some sort.
"Ha! That's where those blood sucking basturds are coming from."
He raised his boomstick up I the air, "Yo laurel and hardy come with me if you wanna see some real action."
Ash walked off towards the bright flashes direction, "Damn, I wish I had some gum."

Their food eventually arrived, though the one who delivered it gave Tails a curiously look as they did so, which Teo pointedly ignored. Dropping into a crouch, he handed Tails his quiche.

John eyed the city, trying to make himself look less suspicious than he already was. But it didn't help that he almost hurt himself falling out of the portal earlier. It couldn't help looking around the city for a bit.

The hardened solider walked the streets of this unknown city, pretending to know where he was going.

At the very least, Skynet hadn't bothered to chase him down here yet.

Jesse had seen the flash as well, and became even more confused. It was bizarre enough to wind up in this intact city that was better than he could even imagine the Old World being, but it seemed other here were as confused as him, so maybe they were in similar situations.

Jesse took after John, hearing “stop!” but thinking it was intended for someone else in this congested city, when someone knocked him to the ground and was on top of him. A burly man wearing a uniform similar to the ones Nobility soldiers wore, albeit much cleaner, was attempting to pin him to the ground. Jesse leveraged the man’s weight to turn the tables and smash the cop’s head into the pavement. The cop’s hand went for a taser on his hip, but Jesse was quicker. As soon as the cop grabbed the taser, his head was cut away from the nose up. Then Jesse turned and shot another officer in the eye as the officer was drawing his gun. Civilians all around panicked, running in all directions. As Ash was heading to the source of the flash, two cops appeared in front of him, weapons drawn.

“Freeze!”

As Teo and Tails enjoyed their quiche, the commotion with Jesse, Ash, and the gnome could be heard in the distance. More urgent than that, however, was a menacing scream of aggression coming from a man approaching them. Or it might have once been a man, but was more of a monster now. This creature...some kind of zombie, came up to their table carrying an axe, wielding it over its head, about to strike.

Ash paused and put his hands up, looking at the officers who were staring at the shotgun and the chainsaw.
"Look fellas, this is just a little misunderstanding. "
He started to move towards them in a friendly gesture.
"Don't move scumbag!" Yelled Cop1.
"Is that a chainsaw where is arm should be?" Asked the cops partner.
" Guys I want you to know, I am a red blooded American boy who loves Apple pie, baseball games, I support the boys in blue."
"I told you not to move asshole!" Cop1 said again as he pulled the hammer back on his revolver.
" Okay...okay, calm down kemosabi, I'm putting the gun down."
As Ash leaned down to put the shotgun on the ground, he looked back towards the guys he was just with, " A little help would be great."

Teo practically leapt back from the man, now unholy creature, wielding the ax. Tossing his quiche to the side he dug into the confines of his coat, only to pull out a sealed bottle of canola oil instead of anything remotely useful like he had hoped. Pursing his lips, he undid the cap as fast as humanly possible, the plastic parting with a small 'CRACK!' In a move that almost made him drop it, Teo leaned forward, sloshing the bottle's contents out and onto the linoleum beneath the Deadite's feet in an attempt to trip it so he, Tails, and hopefully everyone else in the establishment could escape unharmed.

@Kenshi The cop who cocked his gun got a bullet in his hand, causing him to drop his gun and yell in terror. The other cop ducked behind a cop car door as the first cop received more bullet wounds, fatal this time.

“Dropping your gun, at a time like this.” Jesse said, shaking his head, and aiming his gun where the other cop ducked “Is this your first rodeo?”

Jesse didn’t know what a rodeo was, just knew that it was an ages old saying where he was from. The minute the cop peaked out just a little, he too, was shot dead.

“You know how to use one of these?” He asked, referring to the car.

@ZAVAZggg At first the oil seemed to have no effect, but when the deadite smashed the axe down, destroying the table, it slipped from the force of the act. It even dropped the axe, giving Teo and Tails time for further action.

"Alright!" Teo shouted as he grabbed the ax, just in case. "Everyone out!"

Keeping his gaze trained on the Deadite, Teo made sure to keep as much of himself wedged between the creature and those around him as possible. While he didn't exactly relish the idea, he was more than willing to put it down if need be.

Ash looked at the dead cops, then to this Jesse fellow.
"What the hell are you doing?"
Ash points at the dead or dying cops, "They're just doing their job, they are the good guys, you never kill the good guys!"
" I dunno what God forsaken world that I landed in, but I'm pretty sure I don't want anything to do with it."
Ash picked up his shotgun, and got nose to nose with Jesse.
" I don't like you, your a threat to me and whoever else is stuck on this shithole!"
" I'm gonna go my own way, and if we cross paths again, I might just show you what it's like to dance with the king, baby."
Ash turned and walked away from the madness that just took place.
He looked down at the dead police officers, " I'm sorry about all this."
"This is one sick fucking joke!" Ash yelled looking up at the sky, wondering if there truly was a God up there watching, or just some sick twisted comedian.

This world continued to baffle Jesse. He just saw a man drop onto the street, which was unlike how Jesse simply woke up here, but their circumstances were similar. Perhaps this chainsaw man was a waster, from a place like Jesse, but in that case, why get so mad when a guy who threatened you gets his brains blown out?

Jesse had heard bits and pieces of the Old World, some true, some false, but most misconstrued. He never heard anything about policemen. All he knew was the uniform was similar to enemies of his back home.

“Good guys?” Was all Jesse said in confusion as people were panicking and running in the streets and more cop cars were coming. Picking up one of the cop’s guns for ammo, he darted off into another alley, using the fleeing crowds to cover his escape.

Raising the weapon, he brought it down upon the deadite's head.

Albeit hesitantly Tails listened to Teo and exited the bakery like the manager had even before his friend had warned him, but he waited just outside wondering exactly how his friend was doing as the seconds passed and the faint sound of combat drifted from the establishment as well as some commotion down the street.

Teo scoffed at its attempt to grab him, not even noticing the gore spattered across his face nor the screams of patrons as they fled. Dodging the grapple damn near effortlessly he came around to the deadite's left side, he brought the ax down once more to hack off its outstretched arm before promptly tossing the bloodied melee weapon onto the floor behind him and well out of the beast's reach. Digging into the interior of his coat once again, Teo pulled a small patch of silvery material free. After staring at it curiously for a bit, he quickly ran over and slapped it onto the deadite before taking a few steps back to await its effect.

Whatever that may be.

Unbeknownst to Teo, however, this was not any ordinary patch. It was, in reality, the dreaded Icy Hot Omega. One of the strongest pain relievers known to man. So strong that it was taken out of civilian use and weaponized due to its... uniquely destructive range of applications.

Icy to remove your ability to feel.

And hot to relax your atoms from this existence.

Just as John walked back, a large "STOP" was yelled and the guy who seemed to be following him was suddenly jumped by a guard followed by more cops.

But as he eyed the dead cops on the ground, the man who was following him was suddenly running away from what he assumed was the cops chasing after the guy.

John Connor eyed Jessie running, and split the scene. He couldn't be caught by the cops in this world right now not now. He eyed the man with the chainsaw hand walking away and the other man now running. The commander of Tech-com could either follow the running man or the chainsaw man? What would lead to less risk? He sighed as he hoped he had picked the less risky of the two individuals and followed Ash.

Valon walked off from the scene with his gnome friend and asked his name. "Tee." was the answer he received from the gnome. Then the two kept conversing with each other while walking away.
