I liked 'Are you afraid of the dark?' when I was a kid.

yes , another 'season' premiered a few months ago.
it is not the same as the show from the 90's.

each 'season' is a sort of mini-series. episodes are an hour long, maybe less.
and the entire season, each one, is one single story.

the one from the 90's had half hour long episodes, and each individual episode was a different story. i liked it. :)

yeah, the first one was about an evil carnival and it's ringmaster. the carnival is called the 'carnival of doom'. That is the story. A friends' disappearance is connected to it, after a new girl in town tells a story, and all that, after joining the midnight society.

The second one is known as 'curse of shadows'. The story is about "the curse of the shadow man" or whatever.

First one: three episodes total.

this one: four episodes...so far....i am not sure if there is more or not at the moment.

if you remember, they were a group of kids, in the show, that got together, after dark, around a campfire somewhere, to tell scary stories. Each one had to tell a different story, depending on whos' turn it was to tell it. New members had to have a really good story to join the group.
