Name: Andorheim Paladiceum
Sobriquets: Lord of Change, Usurper King, Phoenix of purification, Angelbane, Demonheart, Master Hellblitz, Soul Heir, Great opener of doors and The layer slayer.
Appearance: Aspect: CHANGE, to change the people, the worlds and everything else. For better or worse, change is inevitable but not always is it good or evil all by itself. None is completely immune to it, not even him. Nothing is bound to be eternal.
World: A Victorian era looking world hitting the industrial revolution, oh and with magic and monsters. Think of the game Arcanum but a little more hightech.
Race: Human, but now infused with demonic and angelic power. He is still a human by nature, thus angelic or demonic weapons won't be extra effective against him. While one meant to slay humans however would be.
Legacy: Andorheim began his mortal life as an apprentice to a famous monster hunter, learning the way of weapons, fighting, alchemy but also about his own world and the people suffering within it. His path would eventually see him part ways from his mentor when he was slain by a demon which had escaped from the hells, Andorheim soon after launched an expedition of hunters led by himself to track down and destroy said demon. And when he did he seized the demon's belongings, which would change his life forever. Among the demon's weapons were a sword capable of draining the power and souls of those slain by it adding their powers to his own while keeping their souls locked away. The demon had been a remnant of an old war between the heavens and the hells, hiding and feasting upon the world for ages. But now his body was destroyed, his powers given to a human and his soul locked into the blade he ironically had wielded himself. Andorheim found his newfound power not a curse but a boon, and amidst the demon's powers were the key to open the doors of the very hells themselves, but it was a one-way ticket and once within the key couldn't be used to return back outside. Having finally made up his mind, Andorheim and a select few decided to brave the very hells themselves, entering the abyssal gate and stepping into the first layer. Battling their way through the weakest of the demon hordes that made the layer their home. Andorheim and his party of chosen managed to reach the throne of the one ruling the first layer, a demoness of lust. She twisted several of Andorheim's followers before finally meeting her end at his blade, the demoness had unsuccessfully attempted to seduce him. Little did she know the man had become resistant to most manner of poisons, sedatives and pheromones from his time as an alchemist under his late mentor.
As soon as he had defeated and absorbed her power, an low ranking angel had found itself sent down to inspect what had happened. The angel congratulated him on his bravery and virtue, but also warned him about proceeding further as the hells held many powerful demons and that other angels were now following his progress with watchful eyes. The angel offered safe passage out of the hells for Andorheim and his followers, Andorheim wanted to continue along the way but urged his companions to take the angel's offer to leave. After having witnessed some fall along the way or becomes twisted by the fallen demoness, he wanted no more of them to fall.
The demoness' power was that of influencing the minds of others, this would come to great use for the young man through his travel through the hells. Enslaving demons to follow his whim and make use of the remnants of the demoness of lust's army on his way to the layer beneath. There on the second layer sat a lord of gluttony and eagerly awaited him, having felt the death of his fellow demon moments earlier. The lord of gluttony came with an offer, for fear that he would be the next in line to fall to the human's blade and demon army. Andorheim found himself exploiting the lord of gluttony's weakness and fear to further bolster his demon army but also making a deal with the demon. That he would hand over his demonic weapons over to him, and in return the lord of gluttony would rule all layers of the hells on his own. The lord of glutton, overjoyed in the idea of consuming more of the hells with his evergrowing hunger for more things found himself a deal. For there was all to gain in his eyes, and nothing to lose. For he also feared that his eternal life might be ended had he chosen otherwise. Thus the human proceeded deeper into the hells, now bolstered by demonic lietenants and items which he absorbed the powers from, rendering them nothing more than mundane tools. Ofcourse there were weapons that were dangerous to him aswell, and they were instead destroyed.
The third layer of the hells were inhabited by the lord of greed, who had throughout the ages harvested powerful hellish weapons and artifacts, from both the hells and the old war against the heavens when the elder god went quiet, before the seal was put in place by one of the highest ranking angels to keep the demons at bay. The lord of greed's eyes shone with malice and he licked his lips upon seeing the human walk into his domain with so much power and tools at his disposal. He thought he could add this human and his belongings to his grand treasury, but it was but a ploy, for he planned treasury of a different kind. Unaware was he however, that the human with his demonic army had no intent to bargain with him nor be stopped. The lord of greed found himself grasping yet again, but for the last time. He was grasping for his life, his immortal soul as it was ripped from his very core and imbedded into the newly made prison of souls that the human had made for them all, in the shape of a crystal orb. Within it they were all swirling, trapped and with no body to return to, no afterlife with pain nor anything else. An emptiness where one could see nothing, feel nothing, think nothing. Andorheim had in the first layers of the hells discarded most of the enhancements of his weapons and armor, instead absorbing them into his own repertoire of powers. The lord of greed's treasury was emptied, as if he had merely drank it like a glass of water.
In the lower layers of the hells, the demon were beginning to worry for their eternal powers. The next layer to tread upon were the realms belonging to the lord of sloth, who offered no resistance to the human passing by, even clearing a path fown into the deeper layers of hell for him. The human, if he could have still been considered as such felt no need any longer to breathe, to eat, to drink. His newly attained powers have nullified any such need, his body felt stronger as if it had become ageless the moment he had absorbed the first demon.
As the next layer came, past the realm of the lord of sloth he was greeted by the lord of pride, who had heard of his advancement into the hells and now had left the deepest layer of the hells to put an end to this troublemaker permanently. It was pride that led him forwards, and it was pride that prevented him of seeing clearly. The usurper king struck him down in a fierce manner which sent tremors all across the world of demons and angels both. Once more the hell walker's power increased, this drove the remaining demon lords, which were consumed with envy of his ability and wrath over the destruction he had inflicted to the very hells themselves.
The lord of envy and wrath fought the demonslayer, but even with their combined might they fell prey to the powers, which had originally belonged to the demoness of lust and the demon of greed, causing them to turn on each other in the most crucial of moments. Making them easy pickings for the demonbane. Triumphantly he rose from the bottom layers of the hells, after destroying all the demons under his command using the immense power of the lords of wrath and pride. As he ventured forth, one angel, which had watched the human's venture into the hells could no longer remain passive, for the human had become too much of a threat and was now not only a threat to the hells themselves but also to the heavens.
Beaming with light and the grace of the heavens, the angel appeared before him and made his intent clear. The angel whilst being one of the most powerful of the heavens, commanded for his bravery, honor and grand powers found himself face to face with something he couldn't fathom, not even during the old war had anyone been able to withstand him. But now he felt his own existance fading, as the hand of the once human found itself around his throat and draining his very essence out of him, and hurling his soul into the mix of the demons. The once human now possessed both the powers of hell and heaven alike, and by defeating the angel he had been given not only the key out of the hells, but the key to the very heavens themselves. Yet on his way out of the top layers, the remaining two demonlords, now bolstered by the seemingly ease of teaming up on a weary warrior, and their own chance at seizing the key to the very heavens themselves struck out breaking their own words and they paid for it in angelic holy lights. As the newly aqquired angels powers were unleashed with the wrath and pride of a lord of hell, unrelenting and mercilessly destroying them outright and their powers were drained, their souls seized and locked away in that orb of swirling souls.
Andorheim soon after left the hells, after setting free the souls lost within it, instead sending them all, fallen angels, demons, wrongdoers into the orb of souls. Andorheim was no longer a human, nor was he a demon or angel in the flesh. He was little short of a god.
And from the heavens the angels watched with a mixture of fear and worry, that they would be the next. Andorheim returned to his mortal companions and made it known throughout the world that the hells and it's demons were no more, the monsters roaming the world went into hiding, fearing to step out into the sun.
The angels would eventually grow more and more fearful as some of Andoreim's power has been parted to his companions which now were on par with low ranking angels themselves. Thus it was decided that the very heavens would launch a massive attack upon the world, to kill the usurper king and his companions. Their assault was swift and the companions of Andorheim fell prey to their attack, but despite their superior numbers they didn't stand a chance against the rising new god which obliterated the entire force that it sent tremors to the very gates of the heavens. Soon after the usurper king stood before the gates of heaven itself and he cleft the gates in twain before entering, killing any angel bold enough to try to stop him, but not giving chase after those which didn't raise arms against him. Not even as he plunged his hand and sword into the most holy of things of the heavens, which would open up the innermost parts of the heavens where only gods could tread.
Might: Andorheim as a mortal began his rise in power as an apprentice to a famed monster hunter, learning the ways of survival in the wilderness, fighting, herbalism, alchemy and many other useful skills which such work would require. It was only after avenging his mentor and slaying a demon that he received a massive boost to it. He ceased to age, no longer requiring sustenence or sleep. The demon which he slain, passed along it's trinkets to him. Which he saw to great use, ultimately allowing him the ability to absorb the powers of others and even catching their souls before locking them away in a crystalline orb. During his descent through the hells and his ascension to the heavens, he obtained many other powers which has more or less rendered him unassailable by certain things or capable of vast devastation.

Path: Andorheim intends to create his own pantheon, with himself as the head god. He seeks to liberate the world and all worlds of what he deems to be evil, including any would be gods standing in his path. He desires to create order, as a means of control. But letting the mortals live their own lives unaffected by what goes on in the godly realms. He abhors unnecessary cruelty and beings which are indifferent to events, or those which impersonate evil.
