Dean groaned when Mika slipped out of bed, causing him to reach for her with a pout as he pressed his face into the pillow sleepily. He rolled over onto his back and smirked, “Yeah..I’ll work on spoiling him a bit, maybe pick up some phone calls or a few cars, but he’ll be okay. I think he’s getting used to it.”

He laughed softly, grabbing his jeans that were now draped onto the side of the bed. Without bothering to search for wherever his underwear ended up, he slipped them over his legs while on his back, arching to button and zip them and then swung his legs over the side of the bed to stand up.

He turned his gaze to Mika, as she walked over to the door, smirking at the fact that she wasn’t covered up at all. Luckily, Bobby was long gone down the stairs, or all hell would have broken loose again. He watched how she pulled the fabric down her back, sighing with contentment.

“You’re always worth the scolding…”, he muttered back to her, scratching his head and ruffling his messy hair. He didn’t bother to put a shirt on, and simply stepped away from the bed, over to her. Wrapping his arms around her from behind, he shoved her toward the stairs, not letting her go as they walked down to hopefully cheer Bobby up a bit.

“Time’s wasting, you two!”, Bobby called as they stepped, causing Dean to roll his eyes and turn his head to not yell in Mika’s ear.

“We’re coming, Bobby! Chill!”
He leaned back into her ear and chuckled, kissing her exposed neck.

She nodded at his suggestions of offering to help with the cars or phones whilst he was around. "he better be getting used to it by now" she smirked as he turned over onto his back to actually get dressed himself.

She could tell he was highly amused that she made no effort to cover up after Bobby went downstairs even though in her mind and eyes, it was her room, with her love and she could do whatever she wanted in it. Yet she also wouldn't be so mean to not cover up if Bobby was still in eyeshot. She wasn't that cruel.

She ran her fingers through her hair to try and make it neater and not to knotted as Dean came up behind her and wrapped his arms round her. "likewise" she replied before giggling at him shoving her to the stairs so they could get down there to wait for the food to turn up. She walked downstairs with him still very much attached to her when Bobby called out.

She chuckled once more as Dean called back before she did and the proceeded to kiss her neck, making her pat his arm as he did so. "control yourself" she whispered whilst being amused.

Reaching the ground floor, she walked into the living room with Dean, "we're here we're here, no need to burst a blood vessel" she told Bobby, peelin gout of Dean's grip and walking over to her uncle, kissing his cheek.

Dean carefully cradled Mika between his legs as they walked down the stairs. When he kissed her neck and she reacted with a pat, he raised his eyebrows and huffed, “I’m in control. Control yourself…”

He chuckled, and stomped onto the living room floor with her still walking between his legs he had spread for stability. He reluctantly let her go, as she stepped away from him and over to Bobby, scratching his abs a bit as he straightened up and stretched.

Bobby gave Dean a slight glare, as his gaze fell on his bare chest, and rolled his eyes, leaning into Mika’s kiss on the cheek, “Good afternoon, lazy bones.”

He gave her a warm smile, showing her that he wasn’t really upset, just aggravated but still loved her. He wrapped his arms around her in a hug, rubbing her arm, before pulling away and digging in his pant pocket. He pulled out a crumpled couple of twenties, handing them to her, and then turned to Dean.

“Meeko, you can wait for the food…but you…”, he pointed at Dean, who was absentmindedly rubbing at a scratch on his chest, “Dean!”

Dean snapped out of his trance and looked up at Bobby, his mouth hanging open and his eyebrows raised.

“To make up for the show I was forced to view earlier, you’re going to take the garage. You’re faster than me, and if I’m going to feed both you idjits, we’re gonna need some money. Make yourself useful for a change, will ya?”, he commanded Dean. Dean frowned, almost confused, “Now!”

“Oh! You mean like…right now.”

“Yes dumbass, before I send you back to your daddy on principle.”, Bobby finished. Dean flexed his pecs at Mika with a smirk and his tongue between his teeth, which caused Bobby to clench his fists, and Dean’s face to drop before he rolled his eyes and took of through the kitchen to the garage.

“I have to man the phones for a while. We got some activity over in Kansas, and there’s a lot of FBI calls coming in…looks demonic. Just, get the food, get me a beer, and I’ll be in my office.”, Bobby explained to Mika, before patting her arm and stepping over to his ‘office’ which was really just his desk he had planted in the living room.

With Bobby giving her the warm smile she knew so well, she knew he wasn't mad at her, aggravated sure, but not mad. She hugged him back before letting him pull away so he could give her the cash for the food when it would arrive, which she took and shoved it in her shorts pocket, but sniggered when Bobby gave Dean the harder time and sterner tone. So much for him being the favourite kid!

She saw Dean being utterly not in the room mentally with the rest of them as he scratched his itch which just made it all the funnier as it got to Bobby all the more. She kept sniggering quietly before mouthing to Dean "I'm the fave now" with a cheeky glint in her eye as she saw him flex his pecs and giggled.

She coughed a little to get a serious mature facial expression back on her face as Bobby turned back to her and explained the situation. "got it" she said back and walked to the kitchen going straight to the fridge to grab him a beer. "how many hunters are on the case in Kansas?" she asked him, pulling out a beer and opening it for him.

Whilst she was in the kitchen she took the opportunity to grab a bottle of water, cracking it open and walked over to Bobby handing him his opened beer whilst she downed a good amount of the water in one go, now realising how dry her mouth was after her activities with Dean.

Dean stepped out into the garage, slipping his feet in his spare boots that he always kept by the door in case of emergencies at Bobby’s. With Bobby being involved with basically every hunter in America, he always stashed random jackets, boots, and weapons around the exterior of the house in case he needed to bail quickly. He didn’t bother tying them as he stepped up to the first car with a ticket under the wiper, and peered around the garage at the other six sitting around in various states of repair.

“A little money, Bobby?”, he scoffed, noting that with all six of them together, they could easily fetch a few thousand dollars, depending on what was wrong with them. He reached into the grill of the Pinto in front of him, popping the hood and propping it before grabbing the ticket from the windshield and stepping away. He walked over to the radio, and flipped it on to the last station he had listened to when he was home, noting that Bobby had been listening to the same music. As Kashmir by Led Zeppelin began playing, he bobbed his head, grabbed a shop towel and turned back to the car.

Bobby smirked as Mika and Dean flirted with each other, secretly finding it amusing that they were so adamant about acting out around him. He sat down behind his desk and propped a book up on a coffee cup that sat on top, flipping it open to the page he had marked. He tilted his head side to side at her question, “Somewhere around a dozen…”

He took the beer from Mika’s hand and took a drink, before placing it on the mason jar lid he used as a coaster on his desk, “Things went south pretty quick when the omens started and the phones have been going crazy. I don’t wanna tell Dean, but his daddy is right in the middle of all of it. Best he doesn’t know, alright?”

Mika listened to Bobby say how there was about a dozen hunters on the case, which considering he mentioned before that it was demonic, was probably for the best. She noted how he did his usual set up with the books and bottle, always thinking how he really needed to invest in a proper coaster for his mugs and bottles at some point.

She listened fully when he explained what the situation really was and couldn't stop herself from pulling the fact that clearly said 'yeesh!' when he said how it went south fast. She paused however when he told her John was in the middle of it. "I won't say anything, I swear but he'll figure it out eventually ya know." she told him after she let herself compute what Bobby said to her.

Sure, she wasn't John's biggest fan anymore, if ever, but she did care to some extent about John's safety because she knew how much it would tear Dean apart if something happened to his dad. Even if their relationship was turbulent. She knew what it was like to lose a parent that they didn't always see eye to eye with and it still haunted her massively that she didn't have either of her parents around.

"so if he finds out I'm not admitting I knew all along" she told him honestly. She didn't want that to be something that caused another rift between herself and Dean when things have been so good between the two of them for such a while now.

She sat on the couch and saw one of the books she had been going through on and off for years to find out what could have saved her all those years ago. Toying with the idea of picking it up once more, she finally caved and picked it up deciding that she'd give it a small read whilst she waited for the arrival of their food.

Bobby shook his head, “John doesn’t really want Dean to know. He’s going after this on his own. He said if he doesn’t come back, to follow his bread crumbs to get the Impala, and to let Dean down easy. Of course that falls on me…”

He sighed, and started writing a spell down on a piece of paper as the phone rang. The thought of having to pick up Dean’s pieces, again, had Bobby a little on edge, explaining why he was so hard on him earlier. He sat his pencil down harshly and turned around, grabbing the ATF phone, “Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, this is agent Steele…”

Dean grunted loudly as he pulled on a wrench, his foot against the frame of the car and his face scrunched up, “C’mon on, you bastard…”

As the wrench came loose, he stumbled backward into the work bench with a yelp and a groan. As he stood up, he briefly caught a glimpse of a piece of paper sticking out of the locked drawer, where he kept the parts specifically for his dad’s Impala, should they ever need anything. The only two people who had a key to the drawer were Dean and Bobby, so Bobby could throw the odd part into it if he scrapped a car.

He narrowed his eyes, pulling his keys out of his pocket, thankful they were still there after his pants were thrown around the bedroom. He flipped to the key to the drawer and quickly opened it, seeing that the piece of paper was actually an envelope, with his name scrolled across the front.
Pulling the envelope out of the drawer, Dean ripped it open, shaking the contents into his hand. A set of keys, and a note.

He didn’t recognize the keys at first, being two plain GM keys on a keyring that held a silver bullet. He stared at them, before turning his attention to the note.

Dean,
If you’re reading this, I’m probably dead.
I’ll be leaving the Impala at 2228 County Road 128 in Lawrence.
Take care of her for me, and tell Bobby I’m sorry.

I love you, son.
(signature) John Winchester

Looking up from the note with wide eyes, he turned his gaze to the keys and back to the note, as Bobby’s worst fear at the moment came true. He sprinted back to the door of the kitchen, and through the living room, holding the note in his hand as he looked at Bobby.

“Did you know about this?”, he asked, holding the Impala keys up in front of Bobby’s face. Bobby sighed, and nodded, but held his hands up.

“You weren’t supposed to find that. It’s more of a contingency plan, for if you dad doesn’t come back from a hunt.”, Bobby explained, looking Dean in the eyes as he hung up the phone from his call.

“So he’s okay?”, Dean asked, with a partially relieved sigh, when Bobby nodded, “Well what is he doing that he thinks he’s going to suddenly die?!”

“Hunting a demon…well, demons. He has plenty of help and he didn’t want you involved. So, I promised him that if you came back to me, I would keep you.”, Bobby explained causing Dean to hang his head, an angry smile on his face as he turned and stormed back through the kitchen, “Dammit John.”

“Perfect. Just PERFECT!”, Dean yelled as he reached the garage and slammed the back door.

As Bobby explained the situation better to her, she started to understand more clearly why Dean wasn't to know. As typical as it sounded for John to almost make Dean work for getting the impala and finding his father dead, she wasn't entirely surprised that he would make Bobby play this tactic with Dean. It was unfair in her eyes, not just on Dean but on Bobby as well.

She let him answer the phone as it started ringing, knowing it would be a hunter needing some kind of validation for their cover. She could faintly hear some commotion going on outside in the garage and wondered what Dean was doing to cause such noise. She didn't need to wonder for long as Dean came in demanding what the keys were all about as Bobby eventually got off the phone. She watched the two of them discuss everything before Dean walked back out in a huff.

She didn't know whether to go after him or not, but her decision was made for her when she heard the knock on the door from the take out delivery arriving. Putting the book she had in her hands down, she stood up and jogged to the front door, where she opened the door and pulled out the cash from her shorts pockets. "THank you" she said to the delivery boy, taking the bags of food, closing the door and walking back into the living room.

"I'll go tell Dean the food has arrived as I put it in the kitchen" she told Bobby, walking on through to the kitchen and putting the bags down on the table then continuing on to the back door, opening it and leaning out. "Food is here handsome!" she called out, hoping her little call would calm him down and put a smile back on his face.

Bobby stood from the desk with a nod, following Mika enough to grab one of the bags of food. He rummaged in it as she stepped into the garage, a bit worried about Dean’s state of mind after finding out his dad basically dumped him again. He sighed and pulled his plate out, walking back over to his desk and sitting down with a huff.

As Mika stepped out to meet him, Dean didn’t pull himself from the car. He had thrown the Impala keys onto the countertop, and was aggressively tightening a bolt while grunting. He was pissed. He was pissed at his dad for leaving him out of such a big hunt, especially one that he felt he might die. What was his plan, just to leave Dean alone? No plan? No instructions? Just…take care of the car?!

As he heard Mika’s voice, he smirked slightly leaning up from the car, and huffing, his chest covered in grease from the violent work he had been doing on the little Pinto, “I’ll be in, in a second…”

He ducked back down to get to a stopping point, pulling the wrench from the cart near the hood. He began tightening the bolt, grunting here and there, until the wrench came loose from the bolt, causing him to bang his hand against the side of the car painfully.

“DAMMIT!”, he erupted, showing that his mood was incredibly touchy. He stepped back from the car, and threw the wrench, sticking it into the exterior wall of the garage with a bang. He brought his greasy hands up to his face, and growled before flexing his sore hand. It was then that he realized Mika was still standing with him, and his face softened with a sigh. He wiped a bit of sweat from his upper lip with the back of his hand and glanced to her, “I’m sorry…”

Mika could totally understand why Dean would be incredibly pissed off at his dad, if the roles were reversed she most certainly would be in a sour mood over it as well. He had every right to annoyed at his father for coming up with this plan behind his back, especially knowing how he enjoyed a hunt and didn't like his dad doing the big ones on his own. Yet she could also see why John wouldn't want Dean putting himself in a life or death situation to that extent at the same time, which surprised her she could even think such a thing.

Hearing and seeing Dean say he would be right in made her satisfied that he heard her, she watched as he continued doing what he needed to, so not to leave the pinto car in a precarious situation. She waited for him to just make sure that he would be okay and not do something stupid, but that wasn't long lasting as he hurt his hand and threw the wrench across the garage and jamming into the wall, making her flinch ever so slightly.

It was then she could truly tell just how touchy and up and down his mood was and for the time being they would all need to step carefully around him until he could let go of his stress and relax again. When he glanced at her and apologised, she smiled and shook her head, "Don't be, it's okay. If anyone can understand your feelings right now it's me. So no need to apologise" she told him, tenderly putting a hand on his back and rubbing her thumb up and down his shoulder blade.

"Come on, before the food gets cold or Bobby eats it all as payback for our shenanigans" she smirked at him, going to give him a kiss but remembered he had grease on his face and stopped herself. She patted his back and lead the way back into the kitchen, where she grabbed a plate from where Bobby always kept them and sat down at the kitchen table, rummaging down into the bag and grabbing the food in question.

Dean’s face softened even more when Mika told him not to apologize. She always did that. She always put her feelings last, even when he knew that he was in the wrong. Or maybe he did.

His shoulders flexed under her hand as she rubbed his back, closing his eyes briefly, before nodding. He knew Bobby was probably still in his feelings about what had happened earlier, but he honestly hoped he didn’t want to talk about John. At that moment, thinking of John being out on his own with a bunch of strangers, instead of trusting his oldest son was insulting…

He sighed and almost leaned into kiss her, before noticing how clean she was, and how disgusting he was in comparison. He stepped into the kitchen behind her, not saying a word as he walked over to the stainless steel sink and washed his hands, using the black stained towel over the back of the faucet to wipe as much of the grease as he could off his face.

Bobby simply looked at them across the room, and decided against saying anything to Dean, in case he was still angry with him. At this point, he likely was. He took a bite of his food, and continued taking notes for the spell John had called for earlier in the day.

Dean opened his plate and smiled, seeing a burger and fries in the box, “Oh yeah. Hello beautiful…”

He smiled widely, as his grumbling stomach called out for the burger, pulling it up to his mouth and taking a huge bite. He turned his eyes to look at Mika, giving her a sweet smirk from behind his full cheeks as he chewed. He felt bad about the garage, and throwing a fit. He was just incredibly angry, and there were only so many ways to take out that anger without hurting anyone, for him. And there was no one in this house he would dare lay a hand on.

As he swallowed his first bite, he raised his eyebrows and looked over at her, “I know I’m on vacation, but what do you wanna do with the rest of the night. I’m grounded. Dad said so apparently…”

Mika's ability to always put herself last did honestly always seem to surprise her as well. After everything she had gone through in her life, she still put others feelings and we'll being before her own. It was almost like she incapable of putting herself first, and if she did so so on a rare occasion, she felt guilty doing it.

She knew both men in her life would be tense with each other, wondering who should say the first thing as neither wanted to speak first out of fear of saying something that will tip the other over the edge. So, as she was used to, she would remain between the two of them until then and they could be calm around each other again.

In the kitchen, she let him clean up before he came and joined her at the table, glad that he wasn't going to be utter disgusting and come to eat covered in grease and grime round his face. She started eating her burger as he came over, sat by her and practically spoke sweet nothings to the food. "you will never change" she thought to herself as she glanced at him and saw him look like a hamster.

She sweetly shook her head and chuckled at the sight of him as she continued to eat, swallowing her mouthful as he asked her a question. "what about doing something utterly mundane and normal for a change. Maybe catch a movie and go to a bar or something?" she suggested after giving it a thought of what they could do.

She figured they deserved to do something so far from the hunting lifestyle imaginable to just feel like normal people with each other. "I know the movie theatre here isn't fantastic, but there must be some movie on we can either enjoy or rip the utter shit out of" she smiled.

Dean took another massive bite of his burger after asking his question, his eyes fluttering shut for a second as he savored the greasy goodness of his favorite food. Bobby definitely knew how to speak to his stomach when he was upset. Dean wasn’t a stress eater. He was a stress every-activity-er. When Mika answered his question, he tilted his head to the side, still chewing.

He then swallowed before taking a drink of his beer with a smirking nod, “Meh. That doesn’t sound like a bad idea at all actually. Find us something…chick flick-y to watch.”

He heard the words come out of his mouth before he could stop himself, but then he remembered that Mika loved certain chick flicks. So, his suggestion would probably be welcomed. But did she still like them? He pondered the question in his mind, his eyes nearly on the ceiling, and then took another bite of his burger.

“The movie theatre is dark, though. So, I’m bringing a gun.”, he mumbled with his mouth full, his eyebrows raised and his face completely serious, despite how ridiculous the request was, “And I gotta get dressed. You left me half naked…and now I’m disgusting. How dare you?”

He chuckled, glancing down at the same scratch on his chest, now lightly covered in grease. They had both been so smitten with each other, since he had returned to the house that Mika thankfully hadn’t asked about the scratches, specifically the deeper of them. Truthfully, it was a lot better than when it first happened, and his chest was covered in scratches from the hunt he and his dad had failed at.

When Dean looked up at the ceiling, giving her suggestion some real thought, she thought he would come back with a different suggestion and not be in the mood for going to the movie theatre, so when he agreed and even said to find some kind of chick flick to watch, she smirked warmly at him. She did still have a guilty pleasure from them, mostly because a lot were awful but she couldn't but still get wrapped up in the story. Yet she did seem to prefer other genres a lot more now, but maybe a chick flick would bring back good memories for them.

"I'm sure there's gotta be something we can watch that fits that description" she replied. "be just the good old times" she chuckled, referring to the many fun casual dates they did or sitting on her bed watching many films on VHS tape together.

When he said about taking his gun she rolled her eyes but she did understand it. As hunters, they couldn't be too careful or let their guard down too much when they were out doing what they wanted. Just because they were 'off the clock' doesn't mean the dangers of the supernatural were. "fine with me, and like you being topless is my fault, you chose not to find your shirt" she quipped back cheekily.

She did indeed notice the scratches on his chest since their romp, but when she first noticed them she was so distracted by shagging him that it didn't even occur to her to ask him about the injuries. Now he was looking back down at them again, it drew her eyes to them more. Especially as there were bits of grease on them. She figured he would tell her what happened if he felt it necessary, even if she did went to know what happened.

"maybe after this, we can both freshen up a bit and then head out? If you bring your gun, I'll bring mine so we're completely covered" she said, using the casual way to say about his scratches instead of making a real point of drawing all attention to them.

She was also getting that little internal sparks of excitement at just doing something completely normal for them. It had felt like forever since they did normal 'date' type activities and she couldn't wait to be just a normal person for once. To top it all off, it was doing something perfectly normal with the guy she loved with her whole soul.

Dean smirked at the idea of watching a movie that reminded them of being kids. They were a lot more subdued back then, laying around watching chick flicks, dodging her parents, and just being peaceful and happy. There were plenty of good memories of them just having a simple existence, before she found out about what he did. Before the world made them both harder.

“I would love to freshen up with you…”, he muttered, nearly silent taking another bite of his burger. As he chewed, he muttered again, “And I was taking the gun either way. So…”

He could see that she was excited to go out with him, figuring that the worst case scenario would be lead to him getting drunk, and being forced to be both drunk and in control around the billiards tables at the bar. The movie would just be relaxing, and surprisingly vanilla. He felt like he would be out of place in a movie theatre, and pedestrians.

But the thought made him smile as he wiped his hands, finishing his burger. He glanced over at her and leaned back in his chair, rubbing his stomach with a smirk, “Do I need to wear something sexy? This is a date. Sexy clothes ends to sexy times at the end of the day…”

He laughed, and stood from the chair, leaning over the table to give her a kiss on the forehead. As he stepped away from the table, he called to her over his shoulder, “I’ll be in the shower.”

He was excited to take her out on their first date in a very long time, and seeing her face light up about it made him smile. He honestly just wanted to take his mind off of how much of a crumbling mess the other parts of his life seemed, at times.

Mika saw he muttered something but she didn't know what he muttered, but instead of actually asking him what he said, she decided to finish her food instead before grabbing her water and taking one of the last few swigs that she actually had left of it. She did however hear him say about taking a gun anyway, which wasn't much of a surprise to her in the slightest. Some precautions just didn't end because a hunter wasn't on a case.

She turned her eyes toward him as he leaned back in his chair and rubbed his tomach before asking about what to wear, one eyebrow raising high into her forehead as she lowered her bottle from her lips and down onto the table. "wear whatever you want, it's not what you wear for me, but you that's in it" she smirked back, knowing how unbelievably corny it was to say, but hey, if he was going to say such a thing she was going to match it.

She smiled softly as he stood up and kissed her forehead before starting his walk toward the stairs. "I'll be right up" she replied to him with a smile. She just knew he wanted to get his mind off hunting, his father and whatever he had to deal with when with his father and if going out doing a normal couple-esque thing like a date night was going to do that, then she was more than willing to do it.

Letting him have the head start to the shower, she stood up and chucked the rubbish from the takeout away and washed up the plates as well, not to mention if she even chucked their empty bottles away. She had some respect for where she lived after all. She then stood in the threshold of the kitchen and living room, leaning forward ever slightly as she leaned on the framework, "hey Bobby. We're gonna get freshened up and go out tonight. Movie and a bar. You gonna be alright on your own?" she asked.

She knew she didn't necessarily need to let Bobby know where she was going, but she always did as it not only made her feel better having him know, but knew it always made him feel better about knowing where she was, when not in the house.

Dean climbed the stairs quickly, and hopped onto the top step, like a child. He stepped into the room, finding his bag sitting near the end of the bed. He didn’t have many nice clothes, but he had some nice fitting jeans. Unzipping his bag, he pulled the jeans and a white t-shirt, as well as a hunter green button-down. He tossed them on the bed and turned to the bathroom. He kicked his untied boots off his feet and reached into the shower, turning it on before turning to the mirror over the sink with a sigh.

“Keep it together. This trip wasn’t about the k-…about that.”, he explained to himself in the mirror, before ducking his head a bit as he ran his hand over his chest with his eyes squeezed shut. He huffed, and shoved his pants down his legs before turning and stepping into the shower.

As he washed the grease from himself, his mind began playing tricks on him, almost immediately. He saw it coming, the second the kids he couldn’t save started flashing in his mind every time he closed his eyes. He scrubbed quickly, hurrying to get out of the shower, and hopefully calm himself down as his heart began to race. It was then that the water at his feet started to look like blood, slowly turning a deeper shade of red.

“No no no…no…NO! Stop it…”, he groaned, closing his eyes tightly, his fist clenched at his side, “C’mon Dean. You can’t save everyone, remember? C’mon…”

Bobby looked up from the book he was staring at, wiping his eyes roughly from lack of sleep and eye strain. He smiled at his niece, watching her stand in the door way, offering to go out, “I think it sounds great for you to get away for a bit. You can both be out of my hair, and I can get some work done.”

He yawned loudly, “Or, while it’s quiet, I can take a nap…in peace.”

He smirked at Mika, finishing off his beer and placing the bottle back on his desk as he leaned back in his chair.

“Go. Get out of here. Take some money out of the lock box. My treat.”, he finished, waving his hand at her to go. He wanted her to have some fun, be normal for a bit. She needed it, and judging by the state of Dean’s zoning out and rage fits, Dean could use it too. He had no sooner leaned his head back, until he was dozing off, jarring himself out of his nap.

He leaned forward, slapping his book shut and stood from the desk. He made his way across the room, patting Mika on the chest as he walked by her and into the kitchen for a nap time beer.

Seeing Bobby in the tired state he was actually made her feel slightly bad that some of his tiredness was because of her and Dean. She did however smile when he told her he thought it was a good idea that they got out and did normal things for their ages. Her smile only grew when he said she could take money out of the lockbox to be his treat.

Seeing him dozing off in his chair just made her look so fondly at her uncle, pushing herself off the framework and was about to leave him be when he shook himself awake and came over to get another drink. "Love you Bobby, get some rest okay? I'll take my keys so we don't wake you when we get back" she told him, feeling like she didn't tell her uncle she loved him nearly enough.

With all said and done, she headed upstairs to her bedroom where she pulled out some nicer clothing than what she was wearing, currently. She ended up deciding on a pleather cropped top, mesh over vest and some ripped skinny fit jeans that she could just wear with her usual battered boots and jacket.

She saw what Dean had laid out, she smiled to herself before heading to the bathroom seeing him still in the shower. Smirking mischievously to herself, she pulled herself out of her clothing and stepped into the shower behind him, sliding her hands round his waist. "hey you" she said quietly.

“I love you too. Don’t get into any trouble, alright?”, Bobby muttered, standing from his chair as she left him. He carefully made his way to the couch and collapsed onto it, taking what seemed like the first nap in years. Within minutes, he was snoring.

Dean had his head pressed against his chest, letting the water run down the back of his head and onto his slightly scarred back. He was wrapped up in his thoughts when Mika stepped into the shower behind him, gasping lightly at her touch. His face then twisted into a small smile, his muscles flexing a bit from the tickle of her fingers against his stomach.

“You shouldn’t sneak up on people…”, he muttered, pulling his chin from his chest and letting the water hit his face for a second before turning around in her arms, his hands coming to cradle her face as he looked down at her, “I mean, I never said we were saving water.”

He laughed and kissed her gently, letting his lips linger on hers for a few moments. This was going to be a good night. Other than his worry about John, there wasn’t much to stress over. He was healed up enough from the werewolf attack, that happened to him on night one back with his dad, to handle going out with her, without hovering. It was his biggest worry coming back. He didn’t want her to think that he didn’t feel she was able to take care of herself.

But part of him still wanted to hover. It was the first time he had ever lost a fight, other than when she was with him, and even then, the hunt was successful. He and John had to run away, because John thought Dean was going to die from blood loss, and two kids died…

He pushed the thoughts from his mind as he kissed her, and enjoyed the hot water on his back.

When she first stepped I to the shower she had noticed he seemed to be in his mind thinking about something, but she also knew this wasn't the moment to get him to open up. That could wait. For now it was all about putting a smile back on his face and them actually enjoying themselves for once.

At his remark about sneaking up on people, she smiled against him, knowing normally she wouldn't sneak up on people but this was most definitely an exception. She listened to him add to his quip before she replied, "my bathroom, my rules" with a smirk.

Hesring him laugh brought her so relief that he could snap out of what he was feeling with just the right distraction, and if it came back to his mind? Then she'd be there for him to hear his troubles and worries and do her best to make him feel better. She kissed him back just as gently, keeping her hands around him, feeling the water run his back and over her fingers.

She eventually pulled away just enough to speak to him, "so Bobby is gonna nap whilst we're gone, and everything we do is his treat as he's letting me take cash from the lockbox" she explained to him, raising one hand up his back and tangling it into the back of his hair, just like she always loved to do. "so....leta finished up and we can head out. And before I get tempted to stay in this shower with you" she smirked, pecking his lips a couple of times in succession.

She unwrapped her other arm and brought it round his waist and down his chest, feeling the scars, suddenly feeling like they were now weirdly matching. Yet his scars from the scratches did not make her think any less of him. If anything, it made him more attractive in a bizarre manner to her.
