26 - Yellow Ranger - Tech Guru - 5'7" - Hazar Ergüçlü

We are the ones with too fast beating hearts
The ones who won't say that we are lost

People are often shocked by how socially awkward Ashlee can come off as, but after doing some basic math it isn’t that surprising. She comes from a family of introverted intellectuals and she’s always had a thing about crowds and proper interaction that just doesn’t work. As a defense mechanism she has found having a weird or distinct sense of humor can be effective, so as such she can be described a little offbeat with a huge sense for sarcasm despite sometimes not knowing how to read the room. She’s not particularly mean or standoffish, unless it comes to things she knows, but it is never her intent to do so.

But what techie isn’t a bit of a smartass with bad social skills?

While she may not look it, Ashlee Adanir has always been the biggest nerd in the room.

It’s been something of a family trait since her grandfather emigrated from Turkey in 2014 to the northern hills of California. He was a mathmetician, her father was a medical doctor, and well, Ashlee’s way of life is basically “sometimes physicist and tech consultant”. Numbers are important and knowing what they mean can change a lot. After attending the University of Northern California, Ashlee has tried to live as independently as she can. The big corporations haven’t interested her and she isn’t about the big tech startup life either. In fact, living in Angel Grove, only an hour or so from the Oregon border is pretty much the ideal place for her.

So far she generally works from home and outside of a very loose strand of hobbies, nothing too serious has come up. The biggest gig she can probably define is working for a local archaeologist and professor which has seemed to create a domino effect that seems to be getting weirder and weirder by the minute.

Yeah, I'm like yes and no
Wait, I don't know
I'll pull you closer into to me
And I'm pushing you away

Character Description

P E R S O N A L I T Y
Jordan takes attitude to a whole new level and not always in the good kind of way. She is blunt and direct, clearly speaking her mind and views on a situation. She isn’t stubborn enough not to listen to others opinions but when she is wrong, don’t expect to ever admit that she was because she can be as stubborn as a mule when she wants to be. She believes in her abilities and who she is as a person. What people see is what they get and she won’t be sorry for that. Yes, she might not admit to faults when they are found but she will roll with the punches and have faith she will come out on top. She has no problem backing others up, being their pillar of strength, trying to boost their own confidence, or giving them extremely honest advice. This is where the more optimistic side of her personality shows and when she tends to encourage others. It’s some of the reason she is not scared to be courageous.

That being said, while she is kind in her own way...she hides fear or worry behind anger or sass since she doesn’t know how to express herself. This shows a fiery personality but actually it’s a nicer way of saying Jordan is a complete hothead and kind of a bitch at times. She is quick to snap and get irritable, even more so when people try to tell her what to do. It has always been her weak point when it comes to the teamwork, trying to do more and prove herself which made her jump into bad decisions which bordered on the edge of childish or steps on the people’s toes. It wasn’t as bad when she was younger but the hurt of the past made it easier to push people away than to let them close.

She isn’t heartless, she knows when she has crossed a line but sadly, she struggles with knowing when to keep her trap shut, not letting a snarky or rude comment out. She just has a gift of getting under people’s skin. The passionate part of her personality is still there. She is like a dog in your corner if she cares about you but it doesn’t mean she won’t still bite at you during certain times. She will never abandon anyone or the things she views as important not matter what. Even if it is something she would rather not do or thinks to be crazy, if the person has her loyalty she will follow to the end of the earth. Hell or high water, she isn’t petty enough to abandon people in their time of need and has her own moral code.

B I O
Jordan’s life wasn’t perfect growing up. It wasn’t all bad but some of those moments were diminished by her parents. At the time, she didn’t really notice all that much since it had always been the norm but it was clear that her parents weren’t happy. They tried to pretend for their daughter’s sake but even that didn’t work as well as they hoped and they still reduced to fighting and yelling. It would have been much better if they called it quits and divorced but they told themselves they only needed to wait until Jordan was out of high school. They had had her to obviously try to fix their marriage which was a huge mistake but they didn’t want to make her suffer for that even though they accidentally had. Sadly, they never got the chance since during freshman year, they were all in a major car accident. Her parents and one of her other friends didn’t make it. Jordan herself almost lost her life in the incident and her other friend was just as worst for the wear.

Her whole world changed after that moment, forced from the home she always knew and moving in with her uncle she didn’t really know in Angel Grove. This was when she really started to push people away, trying the most with her uncle but he was nothing but patient and understanding. Always ignoring her quips or shooting them right back at her. She didn’t want to care for someone and lose them again but in the end, it was a lost cause to try and not care. She still ended up being a troublemaker for him though through her teen years. She ended up leaving Angel Grove after high school, taking to traveling while doing odd jobs here and there but never sticking with anything long. Her uncle let her know recently that he isn’t doing so well and with that, she quit her job to pack up and return home to Angel Grove. She did so to be closer to him but is now getting her feet back on the ground and trying to find a job since her savings are limited.

24 - Green Ranger - Part-Time DoorDash Driver/Full-Time Adrenaline Junkie - 5'9" - Gregg Sulkin

Like a true nature child
We were born
Born to be wild
We can climbed so high

Character Description

Levi has always been a thrillseeker, a boy who wanted to prove to the world that he wasn't afraid.

Growing up in Angel Grove, he was always a hyperactive knucklehead (though most people just called him an idiot) who got into trouble. It started when he was an infant and he'd make himself the center of attention by drawing it from anyone he could and getting it from anyone he could. At his core, he is a fun-loving person and this always came through as much as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. His parents always encouraged him to live his life as long as he maintained at least some form of boundaries.

But to a thrillseeker, to someone whose high came from that brush with death, boundaries don't mean the same thing to him as they do to most people. Between his indulgences in wave boarding (that eventually became hover wave-boarding) to skating and rock climbing and basically any extreme activity that would satiate that desire for the rush, Levi kept pushing his body to the max, kept pushing his mind past the limit, and kept busy. and sometimes he would even venture into places he may or may not be allowed to step foot on.

As someone whose greatest academic accomplishments were graduating high school with the bare minimum GPA requirement, he was never someone who could understand anything past basic communication. Technology wasn't his strong suit and if you were to ask him about any current events, he'll just give you a blank expression. Instead, Levi will cheer you on and support you if you're going through anything difficult and he'll make you laugh and help you feel better by being a solid friend. In that, he is without a doubt the smartest man in the room. His heart is huge. And really, that's what's most important, right?

Character Description

Personality

Rebecca can come across as a hardass. When it comes to her job, she has a very no-nonsense approach tempered by training. Professionalism and getting things done right are her second-highest priorities, right after making sure the people she's hired to keep safe stay that way. This has the consequence of making her a bit controlling. Especially on the job, she expects orders she gives to be followed. Rebecca can be harsh on mistakes. Not enough to consider someone a complete failure for botching an order, of course, but when other people's safety is on the line she gives little wiggle room for messing up. She expects nothing less than the best from people she works with, and as a result has gotten quite picky about teammates on especially intense contracts. At her best, she has an air of earned authority and undeniable skill. At her worst, she can be domineering and a bit pompous.

When things are less life-or-death, she can lighten up significantly. Still bossy at times, but less likely to simply take over something another person is doing if they aren't operating at 110%. Rebecca's not much of a jokester, but can appreciate a touch of banter with the squad. Even then though, she comes across as distant in her emotions. Compartmentalizing things to the max and being taught to mask anxieties from a young age made her extraordinarily self-sufficient. She can handle her emotions and control them well, pushing away things like fear and hesitation to get things done and deal with the emotional fallout later. At times she feels a bit detached due to it, but in the end, it helps her get things done that need to be done. In times of tough decisions, she can be counted on to make the right choice, even if it's the hardest one.

Backstory

Born and raised in rural Northern California, Rebecca's family was one of hard-line "traditional values" and patriotism. Unsurprisingly, the Briggs family was one of multigenerational military service, expected of every one of their direct relatives. Even before she was old enough to drive, Rebecca had been trained in the use and maintenance of guns - sort of an early start to what her father was convinced would be her career. While she enjoyed the hunting trips and going to the range at the time, she now regards that part of her life with uneasy regret.

When she was old enough to start feeling the pressure to enlist from her relatives, she rejected their expectations. She had no interest in killing people for America, a notion that seemed to deeply offend her family. After going through about a couple years of ostracizing from her household, she made the move north to Angel Grove. While she refused to join the military or any PMCs, she found that the skills she learned from her family's grooming gave her an advantage in the security field.

Rebecca joined a company that provided protection to museums and archaeologists, particularly during field expeditions into dangerous territory. During her career, she was further trained in search-and-rescue and disaster relief.
