Kukui continued walking along the wooden path above the water, running towards the pirates as they began firing at him. “I’m sorry to say mister, but things like bullets can’t harm me!” He said as the surface of his skin began to turn to wood, his body slightly recoiling from every shot. They didn’t hurt, but they definitely stung. Each bullet felting like a pinch to the arm.

Still, he soldiered through, holding his arms in an x and creating a wooden shield. “Ki Ki No Big Shield!!!” He yelled as he finally reached land, ramming his shield into anyone in his way before planting his feet on the ground, immediately rooting himself to the ground.

Now on land and secured, Kukui steeled himself, ready to counter or deflect any attack the surrounding pirates would throw at him.

Pain racked the fishwoman's body as a talon dug into her back, thankfully at least missing the people that she was trying to save. But, now she was in the clutches of the captain's right hand man, and injured from the razor sharp talons digging into her back. Cera was shuddering in pain as the birdman readied his other leg to strike at one of the people upon her back, before the fishwoman's hand shot back, catching the taloned foot poised to strike at Fsk's back with deft speed before she let out a scream of agony, the second feeling his other foot being forced out, muscle tearing as the woman, despite the pain, yanked him out and started swinging him by his ankle, before slamming him into the railing. And again. And again. And once again.

Cera was panting, shoulders twitching from the pain of her back being raked and hurt by the talons, while she stood over the birdman, spare hand raised as she stepped over him. "New Fish-Man Kyusho Jitsu... she said, exhaling before slamming her hand into his stomach, then his neck, and finally ending with a strike to his forehead.

"Lionfish!" she said, finishing the name of her technique before pain racked the numbing body of the bird man, her bare hands baring her venom with full intent to have him be in so much pain that he couldn't pursue her. Inhaling a deep breath, Cera would begin walking away with her back aching, adjusting her hold while blood dripped down her back. "Don't say I didn't warn you. Consider this merciful, compared to what you and your men do. If you ever come after us again..." she said, stamping her foot right next to his ankle. "I'll have to try even harder not to kill you. And you'll wish I didn't like killing," she said, words starting to get lost as the bird man's entire body started panicking from the extreme pain of the neurotoxin, with no recourse or way to move. Seconds felt like minutes, all the while he was forced to watch her jump from the ship in order to reach the water.

Even with people on her back, she was capable of swimming faster than any human could. With her legs kicking, Cera thought that she wouldn't last long, with her blood in the water attracting Sea Kings. As such, she would instead go to the ship that she was certain bared a different flag from the Lighthouse pirates or the marines.

"You made them nervous." Gerld's eyes didn't leave the purple woman, even as he heard the movement behind him as the pirate enemies hurried away. Their fear was palpable. There wasn't a chance in hell they'd make a move on them now.

"Cowards and the unenlightened get nervous easily," the woman said, meeting his gaze. "It's the price they pay for blissful ignorance."

The flames around them blazed on. Gerld was sweating buckets, but he noted the small woman didn't seem as bothered. "So you got a plan to get out of here?"

The purple-haired woman nodded. "I do, assuming you're up for a bit of a swim. I've got a boat stationed far a bit further than one traditionally sets their boats before getting on land."

Gerld nodded, lead the way.

@Crimson Lion
A devil fruit user, eh?" The lighthouse pirate captain rubbed the his chin. His one good eye narrowed in frustration. "And it looks like a logia user too." He shook his head and sighed. "WEll damn. Now we really should've transported them into the cells when all this fiery mess broke out. People bet higher on logia users. There's nothing quiet like the payday when everyone's jaw drops because the damn fool gets ripped apart as easily as the next one."

With something between a frown and a grin, the pirate captain turned to one of his men as the boat rowed on towards the land. "Hey, you."

Barrel Whippy."

"Hmmm?" The captain blinked.

"My name is Barel Whippy, sir. I've been your cabin boy for going on two decades now."

"Oh."

"I am your second cousin, you know."

"Ah. Yes. Well, it's been awhile since we've talked and all."

"It's fine. I guess. We've been busy."

The captain gave a brisk nod, suddenly all too aware of the men, under his command staring at him and waiting for an answer. "Good. Yes. Well, would you mind lending me your lantern?" THe man nodded and handed it over. "Thank you kindly." The man hefted the thing, noted it had been recently filled. "Good. Good. Much obliged."

The captain pulled back his arm, squinted his one good eye and flung the lanter in the logia user's direction.

Without waiting to see it land, he made a give me motion with his hand behind his back, and another lantern was given to him. He launched it just as quickly.

With a violent crash, the first lantern landed on the dock in front of Kukui. A split second later another one landed behind him. The flames quickly burst to life and spread to surround him.

"Hold on, my little meal ticket!" The captain called as he made a hurry and row motion to his men. "I'll be right there to take you back into my custody, where its safe. "

@The Irish Tree
What happened? The second had no way to know. One moment it felt victory, a pleasant rush of warm blood leaking from the fisherman's body. Then it felt pain, lot's of it. One moment it hit the ground, and then it was in the air, and then on the ground again, over and over again. When the motion stopped the second thought it would be safe, but then the finisher came. It ended. Hell began. The convulsions and pain wracked his body and he couldn't move or cry for help.

Sphear Thiloga, Marine Captain didn't react well to the sight of the burning ships around the lighthouse several meters off. His extra commissions were at risk and it was going to take a good several months before things could get settled here or he found another source of income. Though, one looking at him wouldn't be able to tell as much, because the man's appearance like stone didn't change. He seemed as calm as the water in the ocean behind him.

"Quite a mess going on there, isn't it?" The hunched-back man at his side sneered. "A big mess! The biggest mess in a while!" He was staring through a spyscope at the waters, looking for any sign of light, and noting a pile of bodies streaking through the water.

"What's this now?" The small man mumbled. "I think I see someone heading out." The figure turned to follow the path and noted a small, dark ship, with a strange purple and white flag he hadn't seen before, or even noted marked on their radar. He couldn't help but wonder at the shape of the shuttle. It wasn't built like anything he's seen before.

"It looks like it's the fishman we sold. She's making a run for it out to see." He continued to stare.

"Keep an eye on her, and have the guns ready for the moment that ship starts to leave the cannon's range."

"Aye-captain!"

The journey to the ship was painstaking, even at a fish-man's increased swimming speed. It took just about every last bit of strength she had to get aboard the ship, unable to stand afterward. She would do her best to crawl to ensure that each person she'd carried was breathing just fine, administering CPR where it was needed. She'd tried to keep them above water, but it was inevitable that she had to dodge a few shots by diving a few feet.

Once that was settled, she would slump over on the deck, hands clenched while she looked around. She was certain that even if this wasn't the same group of pirates, she very well might wind up having to fight to continue protecting her wards. ...She had to, didn't she? When all the world wanted someone dead, even bacteria, it was a doctor's job to hold the entire world at bay even to save just one life. And so the fish-woman would shakily rise to her feet, unsure if she'd have to fight anymore.

But by all things good, she'd fight if she had to.

Ever since he had taken the first bite of that horrible devil fruit, Kukuis life had been down hill in terms of difficulties. His hair felt leafy, he had twigs growing in places he didn't want twigs growing, and people generally try to either avoid or kill him because of his powers. Now the biggest downside in his opinion was that he had 2 very large and distinct weaknesses. Seawater, and fire.

What Kukui had thankfully learned in his long travels however was that, although both individually where etremely detremental to him, together they actually cancel eachother out. So as the flames began to surround him, kukui was pleasently suprised when he felt his damp body rapidly drying, making it easier to store energy for his next play!

Before the fires could fully dry him, and start burning him, he focused a large amount of power into his legs. His lower half became almost like a tree and started rapidly growing and extending, raising Kukui into the air far above the pirates and the buildings before his tree like lower half spit him out, allowing him to stand atop the new tree.

Looking out, Kukui looked for an escape. The docks seemed filled with pirates and the commotion would surely bring the marines. He needed to get off this island, but he'd need a boat. He couldn't make a boat with his powers, he needs time and materials like cloth and nails, both of which he didn't have, and he couldn't steal one, since it looked like almost all on the dock were burning.

Then he saw it, in the distance a sole boat a bit away from the water! If he could just get from ... from 30 feet in the air on a burning tree to half a mile out into water on a distant boat ... He can survive. "... Well, I'd survived worse. I think." He said as he came to an idea. A VERY. VERY. VERY. stupid idea. "OK ok OK ok OKAY!" He said psyching himself up. thin branchs began to form on his back into a large spread over a wide area, leaves forming as it began to take the shape of wings.

"Ki Ki no, er, makeshift glider!" He yelled as he jumped, purging his wooden armor as he used the leaf canopy as a glider to fly above the crowd, hoping to reach past the pirate crowd. His plan was to glide above the enemies and land safely, then run to the lighthouse so he can get high enough to glide to the boat.

Meishu lowered herself into the water. It was tepid but bearable. From the corner of her eyes, hidden by the dancing shadows, Gerld did likewise.

"When I was younger" the old man gritted his teeth while he lowered himself. "I would think about getting a devil fruit, as I rose through the marine ranks, and what kind it would be. But it never happened because the higher ups never had anything good for me. Now that I'm not sinking to the bottom of this ocean, watching the world dim because I couldn't move, I'm happy nobody ever knew where to find the ones worth eating."

"I didn't notice any traps when I swam to the shore, but that doesn't mean they haven't deployed anything yet. So keep your eyes open and stay close to me." Without hesitation she disappeared under the surface.

"Not one for small talk, that girl is, huh?" Gerld sighed before taking a deep breath and disappearing beneath the black surface of the water.

"Looks like the Fishman is on the boat."
The captain didn't bother to respond. His impassive face, with the lack of any interest in turning around to look at the hunchback, was a very clear indication he was well aware the fishman would make it to the boat, as it was a Fishman, and if nothing else, they could swim.
"Yes. Right. Well," the hunchback looked down at his hands. "Should we open fire then?"
"Hold it. I want to see if there are any more troublemakers. Would be best, if there are more than one, we get them all in a single fell swoop."
"Right. Right." The hunchback nodded.
"So don't do anything stupid. Wait for the boat to start moving."

@The Irish Tree
The tiny boat rocked ever so slightly as someone climbed aboard. Tere was a scent in the air wasn't the right one. Fenrir knew the right smell when it came to him, and this wasn't it. This was an intruder, an unwanted, several of them. Fenrir would get rid of them, post-haste.

Slowly, he uncurled himself from his spot by the wheel and sniffed the air. The intruder wasn't far. Grinning the large, Candid like creature got t his feet. Head lowered he left the cabin and started towards the smell. It wasn't far.

The intruder was female, that much he could tell. She was odd, smelling like fish and person. The others weren't odd, they were just unwanted. Not that that mattered though. The captain hadn't told him about anyone getting to board, which was WHAT DID matter.

Licking his chops Fenrir got closer. With a growl the beast launched itself in the air, jaws snapping at the strange human. He'd take care of her first and then throw the others off the deck. The only concern he had was if there was enough time to clean up the mess before the captain got back.

@Crimson Lion
"Oh damn it!" The captain shouted, pointing his hand at the devil fruit user, as the small man spread wings and flew over head. "If it's not one thing it's another!" The man thrust his fist at the sky. "Hurry up and shoot hi down." Spit flew from his lips, big angry globs, heavy enough to been seen in the dancing shadows.
The bullets flew, but it wasn't easy to get a good shot what with the dark and growing distance.

As he moved further out into the ocean he saw a small boat, purple and strange. It's design was unlike anything the pirates or marines were using. As he sailed towards it he became more certain the ship didn't belong to anyone who was actively trying to kill him.

Upon the last leg of the approach to the boat, the young man would see a pile of bodies, the odd female from earlier, in the cell, and a massive fuzzball of a creature, slithering up towards her like a snake before the huge thing leaped towards her.

Cera would look on in horror as a guard dog emerged from the cabin...though from the way it was slithering, maybe it was part-something-else. Cera would steel herself to hold off the beast, but in her current condition she wouldn't last long. With footwork serving as her main means of fighting an animal like this, she'd sidestep its lunge and launch a kick at its side, knocking it back only slightly before she made her way towards the mast.

The reality of it was that she didn't even want to hurt this animal, and even if she did, she was in no condition to incapacitate or kill it on her own. Such would be apparent to Kukui from a glance, as Cera was spending most of her time just trying to avoid getting mauled by the thing, yet retaining its focus on her.

...She felt like, maybe, this was how she was going to die. Getting ripped apart by one single dog after managing to escape a pirate fleet with numerous injured people depending on her.

What a way to go.

Kukui hisses as a stray bullet grazes his leg, causing his to bleed before he covers the spot with wood as a temporary repair. "Dammit, it hurts it hurts!!" He whines as he continues to float in the air, knowing that if he looses focus he'll fall into the ocean. Continuing to glide to the boat, his view becomes clear as he sees the beast and the fishman stare off, getting ready to fight eachother.

Kukui began to process what he was seeing. The fishman women he recognized, she was the one that Kukui tried to escape with. She was nice if he remembered correctly, remembering watching as she had helped the people in the cage. Following logic, she might be the only person on this island who he could call an ally, if for no other reason then they have a common enemy.

The beast however ... Well he didn't remember such a beast in the cage, nor from anywhere really. And considering it looked like the beast could pounce on the fishman woman at any moment, Kukui had decided he'd rather not have his only potential ally die.

Detatching his fake wings, Kukui dropped down, landing behind the beast between it and the cabin. "Ki Ki No Binding!!!" He yelled as he held both arms forward, branches and roots surrounding the beast and grabbing its arms and legs to bind it behind itself. "I'm sorry big guy! I don't wanna hurt you but you need to stand DOWN!" He yelled as he struggled to subdue the beast, his legs beginning the process of merging with the floor to give himself a solid base.

The further they swam the colder it felt, at least to Gerld, who despite the exercise was starting to feel numb. He was in far better shape than most people thirty years younger, but he was also sick, and old, and the years were piling on. Honestly, if not for the stranger ahead of him, he could very well have died back there.

"Hey!" He called towards the strange woman, stopping to tread water.

"Hmm?" The woman paused to look back at him. There was an annoyed look on his face. He didn't blame her. They were running away from dangerous people, out into the middle of the ocean.

"There's that marine ship." He pointed over to the boat, the one that brought us here. "Why is it waiting around? Shouldn't they have left once they dropped us off?"

The woman looked over at the marine ship, looming in the distance like a big cat who couldn't decide if it wanted to pounce or take a nap. "I'm not sure." She sighed. "It won't do any good to stay and guess."

"Do you think we should do something about them? They could be a problem."

Meishu eyed the ship for a moment before looking up. The sky was cloudy, but the full moon could be made out behind it. They were moving fast. She didn't want to be away from the boat with a moon that fat. "No. We don't have time. Come on." She didn't wait for a response before she starts swimming.

Gerld thought about saying something. He didn't like being dismissed so quickly, a habit held over from his years in the marines. He decided to hold his tongue, at least till they got somewhere safe.

****
@The Irish Tree
"Damn it." The lighthouse pirate growled, as he watched the logia user fly away. "What the hell kind of fruit even is that!" The group around him didn't respond. They watched their captain like children who knew the wrong answer was going to get their father to bring out the belt, the old one that he had glued spikes to.
"Well we won't be able to get him from this damn dingy." He kicked the ship's railing and thumbed back towards the lighouse. "Let's go back and get it started. I'm not going to give up on account of fear over blowing through all our coal reserves."

The fish smelling person ran. Fenrir ran too. She couldn't get away. She wasn't wanted. The captain would've told Fenrir if she was wanted. Fenrir was good at listening to orders. Growling, Fenrir slithered up to the stranger.

Off in the distance, he could hear something cutting through the air. It was a bird, a big bird. It would make for good eating, but this wasn't the time. Fenrir wouldn't be distracted from protecting the boat. Drool running down his maw. His mouth opened and he lunged towards the fish person.

@Crimson Lion
Things went according to plan until they didn't. Fenrir started moving, on his way to the strange fist. Then he stopped moving. Things like hard snakes came out of nowhere. He heard the birds land beside him. He sniffed and realized it wasn't a bird. It was a person. Damn his ears. They were only so good with odd things, but they were nothing like his nose. If only the person had been closer he woudld've known.

With a burst of strength, the candid tried turning to the new arrival and strained to move. It wasn't easy. He managed a few inches before he limbs gave out and he felt himself tied tight.

RAge flooded through Fenrir and he threw his head back and howled towards the sky.

Shit. Meishu thought as the howl echoed out. He flew over her like a warning. "Damn it." She said before picking up speed. She cut through the water fast enough to cause spray to shoot up around her.

Gerld heard the sound. He noted the change in the woman's calm. He didn't say anything. It would've been a waste. By the time he realized she out of range.

Igor wasn't a fool. He'd been around the world and seen/ heard his fair share of monsters. They came in all shapes and sizes. MOst could be killed with a cannon or a seastone. So he didn't waste time or energy memorizing how different creatures worked. There were however things he did make a point to remember, or that he couldn't forget.

He heard the howl and it scared him.

"Uh captain?" Igor's face was white. He turned up to see the captain with a similar look. "That's coming from the ship."

"Yeah." The captain nodded."Fire the cannons."

Igor nodded. He gave the order.

The first cannon fired in a matter of seconds. The rest of the barrage followed.

Kukui, successfully tying down the beast in front of him, smiled and began to relax as he leaned to the left and locked eyes with the fishman woman at the other side of the beast. "Ah hello, uh I think we partially met in the cage." He then grew a new wooden arm and hand, under the arm holding down the beast, and made it extend forward towards Cera. "The names Kukui Blackthorn. Explorer and shipman. Nice to meet you mam." He said with a smile as he slowly began to move his main body away from the beasts wooden shackles to his extended arm. His new wooden 'body' forming around the arm and out of the ground as it formed. Soon, Kukui was completely assembled in front of the fishwoman. A few branches sticking out of his body.

"I remember seeing y-" Kukui was interrupted by the sound of the first cannonball firing at the ship. The barrage that followed after fully grabbed his attention as cannonballs began landing around the ship. "Oh no. No no no no no no NO!" Kukui yelled as he immediately tried to merge with the boat, before he 'swam' through the boards and look for breaches within the ship. He had JUST gotten off of land into a boat and he sure as hell wasn't going to let this ship sink after going through so much trouble to get here.

Finding any holes in the boat he could, he fills them with branches and intertwine them into solid walls.

At finally getting to hear the name of her savior, Cera scarcely have time to introduce herself before the boat started getting rocked by cannonfire. "I'm Cera...and I hope we aren't going to die here," she said frankly, as Kukui seemingly melted through the floorboards. Gathering up her still-unconscious wards, she would get them inside so that they would at least be safe from most of the cannonfire before she went back up deck to the imprisoned beast Fenrir.

She hoped that whoever owned this ship would arrive soon while there was still a ship to sail away with. Even if they were pirates, it was better than sticking herself back in a cell, waiting to get killed or to be auctioned off for the second time in her life. She eyed the wheel of the ship but quickly cast her eyes down, having absolutely no idea how to navigate. Then, the fatigue of it all hit her once again as she slumped against the railing, shuddering as she felt the gouges in her back. "I'm going to need a doctor of my own soon..."

Today was an immensely strange day in Cera's life. First she was kidnapped, then made to fight to the death, then ferried three people on her back while bleeding out from being attacked by a bird man. ...And boy was she feeling tired. And sleepy. The only thing keeping her awake at this point was the hail of cannonfire impacting the ship and the water around her. Dragging herself below deck, she would collapse once more, struggling to move her body while Kukui fought to keep the ship afloat.

Meishu might've miscalculated. She figured the marine ship would be too busy thinking about how to spin things to prove it wasn't involved with the pirates at the lighthosue. When she first saw the ship, that's what she was certain of. When she heard the first burst of cannon fire she became nervous. As she saw the first hunk of iron explode near her ship, and then on her ship, she became convinced she had been wrong and redoubled her efforts.

Damn it! Why didn't she teach Fenrir to move the bought when he wanted to learn? Well because he was young and only wanted to get near the steering wheel to chew on it. Still though. He could've learned to steer the chewed up remains!

*******************
Fenrir growled. He wasn't growling at anyone in particular. There was nobody in particular around him. He was just agitated with the way things had turned out. One moment he was asleep, and glad of it. Then he was awake and there was a mess.

Not again. Next time there was a stowaway he wouldn't waste time stalking. It was just munch, munch, and poop the remains over the side of the ship.

He turned his attention to the wood wrapped around him. He winced. There was a loud pop, followed by a rapid series of clicks and clacks. Fenrir's head moved away from his body, towards the veins closest. He opened his mouth to begin chewing.

@Crimson Lion
Gerld breathed in deeply. He had been a good swimmer in his youth. Back in the day he would've been able to cover the distance between the lighthouse and the purple-haired woman's ship without any issue. Now though, with his age, among other factors, the trip wasn't a certain thing at all. He swallowed hard, coming back for air, too early. Instead of rich oxygen, he found himself sucking down seawater.

"Cough. Cough."

Meishu paused, a few yards from the boat, and turned her back to check in on her ward. The man was starting to flounder. "Mmm. Damn."

Frowning she swam back, grabbed the man and pulled him back to the ship, where she topped to look for the ladder, which was on the other side.

"Well shit."

Before she could start moving there was a whistle through the air, and an explosion. A large chunk appeared at the side of the ship from a cannonball making direct contact.

"Well, that'll work." She tensed her arm, clasped Gerld's arm as hard as she could. "Apologies for the rough landing." With a grunt she flung the large man upwards towards, and through the hole where he landed with a limp thud.

A few seconds later, Meishu at the hole and stepped inside.

"You okay?" Meishu gave a nod to Gerld, who had propped himself up on his elbow and was coughing up seawater. He gave a nod, but couldn't manage more than that. "Alright." She wanted to find Fenrir and make sure he was okay, but the need to get the ship out of the cannon's range was of more immediate importance.

"I'll be back. Stay here and rest."

@The Irish Tree
Upon entering the cabin Meishu found a lone Fishwoman, covered in blood, out like a light. She recognized her from the tournament and recalled how the character hadn't wanted to cause harm and had survived the ordeal without much blood on her hands.

The captain's first reaction was to let the woman know if anything had happened to Fenrir, not amount of fishman strength or karate would be enough to keep her from being ripped limb from limb by the small woman's hands. Then, the second thought, the one which involved the point they were being fired upon, and the shots were getting more and more accurate, an easy fact to discern thanks to the ship's shaking and sounds of splashing and roaring from outside. Which was the thought she chose to deal with.

"Move," the tiny woman sighed, sliding the downed fishwoman aside with her foot. "I'll get us out of here than see to it you don't bleed out all over my floor."

Hands on the wheel, Meishu moved some controls and spun the wheel around to angel her tiny craft out to see.

The small ship hummed as the engine came to life.

Kukui hated to admit it, but he loved ships. As anyone would know most ships are made of wood, and the amount of wood needed for a single ship could equate to anywhere from a single tree to a small forest. With this much wood around, it was like Kukui was back in his home island exploring his powers to the fullest. And he LOVED it.

A little patch to the ship here, a patch there. A support beam needs replacing? Done. Mast is damaged? Repairing now. People boarding the ship? ...

... People boarding the ship?

Kukui 'swam' to where he felt people enter, a hole in the side that had just opened up, and observed the two new arrivals. He had recognized the injured coughing man as another who was in the sea stone prison. Another runner just like him and Cera! And the woman seems to be his ally.

Before Kukui could reveal himself, the woman raced down the halls, leaving the room. Kukui, making sure Gerald had gotten inside, closed the hole in the wall before following Meishu, Kukui still hidden.

As they moved Kukui noticed how quickly she was moving through the ship and realized that this ship most likely either belonged to her or belonged to her captain. And as they reached the ships controls, Kukui brightened at the confirmation that, yes, this was indeed the woman's ship as she began turning nobs and buttons.

And then suddenly, the boat began to shake. And not ever having been fused to a boat with an engine Kukui could only do one thing.

He shot out of the ground, grabbed the railing and began vomiting into the ocean.

Meishu's engine roared to life. Smoke poured out through the chimney as raining cannonballs continued to impact around and into her tiny ship. One in particular found its way near the cabin, causing an explosion which momentarily blinded her. "Damn it." She gritted her teeth, and pushed upwards on the throttle, intent on giving it everything her boat had to get out of the enemy ship's rang as soon as possible.

Soon as possible wasn't fast enough as her vessel started speeding away a barrage of expertly fired shots found their way into her haul. One ball in particular hit something vital. She couldn't tell what it was from where she stood, but she had little down the explosion was near her engines. It started out as just a theory but as speed and power to the controls started dropping it became clear there was no way they were going to be able to out run the larger vessel.

"Plan B then." She sighed, as something long and slithering came into the cabin. It was Fenrir. "Well I'm glad you're alive." The dog gave a gruff pff before turning its long neck around and dropping several bodies next to the Fishman. "Oh?" Frowning, the captained looked over at her companion. "Boy, are you okay? How come you didn't?" She paused to note the elongated, snake like neck which protruded from the center of her special boy's body. "Ah. Well, no solids for awhile then." She frowned at the bodies. "Yet there's still mouths to feed and look over."

Damn it. If Fenrir ate them then they wouldn't be a problem. Oh well.

There was a hard motion in the ship as she turned it around, aiming the front, with its narrowed edge towards the larger ship. "Ready for plan B, buddy?" The large doggish creature seemed to frown before turning and curling itself at the corner of the cabin.

"I know. Me too buddy." Sighing, she reached down and pushed a bright red button, hidden under the wheel. There was a ringing before something of an explain, but far bigger than anything the cannonballs could do.

The ship shot forwards.

"What are they doing?" The captain mumbled, stepping closer and to the window. He motioned for the search lights to aim at the vessel so he could study it closer. "Oh." His eyes went wide as the fact they were going to board his ship, after boring a big hole in it.

"Evasive." WAs all he managed before the little ship blasted towards them, and slammed his vessel hard enough to shake it and make him fall on his ass.

At the ships rapid acceleration, Kukui fused his arm to the railing in order to prevent him from falling off. “I. Hate. This.” He heaved as he looked up, only to go big eyed as the ship collided with another, shaking Kukui’s body around as his fused arm kept him attached.

Kukui tried to readjust himself, moving back to his feet as he looked back, dizzy. “P-please no more. I .. can’t .. handle this shaking!!” He managed to yell out before his body began to grow weak. Using his powers over and over again when patching up the ship, plus the sudden shaking that struck his core had made him incredibly weak and disoriented.

With the last of his strength, Kukui grunted as he resigned himself to whatever happens next. He proper himself to sit against the railing, partially fusing his back to the railing for support as he began to slowly drift into unconsciousness.
