"Well as we have said everyone here is a prisoner, I do not think Vos is out of that category, me most likely has something thats dear to her, and knowing if she allows harm to come to him will result in whoever is the one she loves getting hurt she probably just trying to figure out what else to do," Samuel said he had an idea that most like everyone the company all had something of theirs that they would dangle. Toroaksui had something, Bane and loyalty or merely the feeling like this was the only home left really could haunt others.

Maya shook her head "Bane leave her alone I can sense a lot of anger and pain right now her emotions are too high to safely talk to her right now. I know it hurts to listen to her having her meltdown but right now maybe being left alone is the only vice she has to calm down" Maya said to the werewolf in worry.

Toroaksui shrine stayed near the holding cells, the small fox statue glowing brightly as the fox was healing from his wounds fast in a deep slumber.

Dante nodded and said “I stay for her. The only reason I stay is to be near her…” he looked at the vampire and said “bane stays because he knows that his family here needs him. Serena…I don’t think she even knows why she truly stays” he stopped and turned his head. “Did Serena say anything about where she was going next?”

Bane sighed then finished getting up, stretching his body out. “Well, guess it’s a waiting game then…I’m good? All fixed up now?”

Serena snuck into the holding level, using the shadows to hide. She walked into the main control room, looking around for a way to find her brother. “Where are you brother…”

Alarms started to blare as Sarena was not an authorized person to be in the holding blocks. Samuel was about to say something and groaned hearing the alarms "OR FOR THE LOVE OF DEAR GOD! WHY THE HELL CAN'T SHE STAY OUT OF TROUBLE" He yelled mostly angry that she was trying to stir a problem right after Vos already was in trouble and vos wasn't happy.

Maya hears the alarms blaring as an unauthorized person in the deep holding cells as she sighed gently "I can only guess who that is" said slowly as she looked at Bane "Better get there before Vos does if Vos is already pissed off I don't think she will go lightly on Sarena for causing more headaches right now"

The shrine jolted the fox awake at the alarm blare and frowned as he got out of the shrine and grunted staggering "Oh god sake Sarena why you in here?" he asked rubbing his head and slammed the alarms off to stop it and frowned at her "Don't you think we have all caused enough problems?" he mutters tiredly wounds covering him still.

Only reason Bane didn't get in trouble was that VT placed his authorization card in for that the alarm system wouldn't go off. If you didn't have one for the deep holding cells and was in there the alarms would blare. Thats how they kept people from freeing Toroaksui when he was under deep lockdown

Bane cursed and said “she’s looking for her brother. She must want to get that problem off Vos…she doesn’t know what she’s about to walk into” he bolted for the door and out and running full.

Dante looked around and said “why now? She must have a…” he stopped and said “she wants to know the truth…she knows Vos is stressed…one less problem to handle. Come on, we need to go help” Dante ran for the cells and said “Samuel, you came right from the gate right? No side stops?”

Serena cursed and looked at torak. “I didn’t know there were alarms in here…I just wanted to see him…not get him out. I deserve the truth. Vos can’t tell me or VT…I just want the truth” she looked around the names on the screens and said “I have to know the truth…” she was shaking, her eyes dull. Something clearly wasn’t right with her. Nothing to do with her core.

Toroak just sat against the wall just tired of everything "Have you ever thought maybe Sarena the reality of the truth isn't meant to be known? there are reasons things that are hidden reasons why things can't be told. Truth comes out all in good timing not by force or impatience with that could lead only to more suffering and pain" He said wisely he learned the hard way that seeking out the truth by force never really got you far but also ended up backfiring in the end.

Maya went after bane confused, her heels clicked on the floor ad placed a mental trap outside Vos door so that if Vos came out she wouldn't be able to go any further.

Samuel shook his head "Only straight from the gate really we don't have any other area we can come from" said as they managed to get to the room.

Unfortunately, we all would end up creating far bigger issues, as that alarm was not just set in their building that alarm also went to the top of the company. Thats why Vos only had herself and VT able to come in so that higher-ups would trust them over anyone else getting into these holding cells.

Bane stopped at the door and sniffed. “Hold on…” he stopped the others from going in. “I have a scent. It’s not anyone we know…what is that” he sniffed the ground more and frowned. “We need to shut down the base. We have something in the building. I smell a demon and it’s not Dante”

Serena held her head and said “I just want the truth…I’m sick of being lied too…” she looked at Torak and her eyes were glowing green. She was infected by something.

Dante moved to the controls on the wall by the others and hit the lock down. All doors sealed and shut. “Let’s go demon hunting. I fear this might be why our goddess hasn’t been herself. I sense she’s been infected by the demon…it must have happened in the last day”

Samuel sighed gently and rubbed his head "Great now we got even more issues" he said tiredly, he could understand Vos stress alright and her worry "Fine let's go hunting"

Unlike the rest that was tried and stressed Maya was not, able to completely control and understand her emotions she was not easy to get to her Her eyes glowed a deep fiery color. She learned that running on emotions only leads to trouble and problems her heels created a demonic purification circle around the building edges and doors, if demons touched it that were not dante they would be burned away.

Toroak raised an eyebrow "Oh great just more trouble to have" he groaned getting off the wall as his wounds all healed shut and his tiredness was gone, merely an illusion "Now who is this particular little pest that seems to be infecting you" he mutters.

Dante smiled at Maya and said “why don’t you guys search the upper levels and Samuel can use his link to the shadows to search the lower levels. I’m going to check on Vos and make sure it’s not with her” he vanished and Bane nodded. “Torak? If it helps it’s small and it smells like a scout demon. I would check her person and see if it’s on her”

Serena looked confused and asked “what are you talking about Torak?”

Dante appeared outside of the door and knocked “Vos? I’m just checking in on you. We had to lock down the base. It seems a small demon has gotten in…we are handling it. Just give me a sign your safe and alone in there?”

Toroak looked at her "There seems to have been a demon that crawled into the base, seems that your eyes are glowing green which they do not do. They glow silver or pure black " he said walking closer to her slowly "Let me check you over Sarena"

Maya nodded as she left with Bane checking the upper levels using her fireball as a light looking around slowly keeping her magic coated around eyes peeled.

The room of Vos was dead silent, he could smell blood, the yelling and breaking of things had stopped in the room a little while ago. He could feel the room was drastically colder than it normally was the under the door was very cold. The lock was still placed on the door, but she did have a window leading to outside and as night was crawling in it was normally pretty cold outside.

Bane walked with Maya and part way thru he shook his head. “I don’t have the scent here. Could that demon have gotten Serena when she was out with Torak?”

Dante cursed and said “Vos…do I need to come in and check on you?” He moved his hand to unlock the door, hoping she was alright.

Serena looked at him then nodded softly “alright…I trust you…”

" The soul realm doesn't house demons, Soul realm is mostly for the supernatural world but demons are not allowed in due to their aggressive and bad attitudes. I would know if a demon came out of our gates or came to our gates as well this one doesn't smell like it" Maya said slowly looking around slowly.

Toroaksui slowly checked her over a deep inhale of smell to see if he could catch the demonic scent.

The door stayed locked as only Vios could unlock it. Before Dante could hear shuffling around the room and something rushing around the room and eventually slam out the window.

Bane nodded and then paused again. “What if…it was what caused VT to shut down? And that thing jumped from the metal body to Serena?”

Serena was shaking and the scent was all over her. The demon bug was in her neck, injecting her with a toxin making her lose control.

Dante cursed and hit the door. “Vos! Vos answer me!”

"Hmmm He did act weird when I showed up" she said tilting her head and tapped her fingers slightly to her forehead connecting her mind to VT speaking to the soul for a little while.

Toroaksui found the little pest "Ah there we go, Sarena, I need a knife I'm gonna have to cut the little thing out of you seems like it got under your skin" he said looking at the thing and tapped it slightly to see how far deep it was.

Vos grumbled gently something under her breath as the doo unclicked itself as Vos was laying against the wall bloody as can be looking like she had been through war and back, Her eyes dull slightly as she mutters gently "what on earth" she said tiredly.

Bane looked at her then froze. “Oh crap. This happened after we saw Serena’s brother. It either happened there or at that village we went to before…”

It was in deep, the toxin in her spine. It explained the up and downs she had been going thru. And why she seemed so set and stubborn. It was forcing her to work herself to death.

Dante ran to her and knelt down, looking truly worried and panic setting in. “Vos what happened? Are you alright?

Maya tilted her head confused and frowned slightly before feeling Sarena mind shut off "Torak found it" she said and rushed back for the control room in case Toroak needed help with that.

Toroak put a palm to her forehead "Sorry sarena I don't want you awake for this"he said before forcing her into a deep slumber. Before taking out his soul knife and starting to cut injust enough where he could get at the little roach. Finding an opening he heard the door open seeing Maya jolt in "Maya, need your flames I gotta get this little shit off and then you can detox the body of poison" he said as Maya nodded kneeing down white ghost-like flames in her hands.

Vos seemed out of it "Dante when did you get here?" She asked in a dazed voice her eyes all over the place like she was seeing something.

Bane ran with her and said “this explains whys she’s been so off since VT. I thought it was the grief. But she’s been infected for almost a day”

Serena looked at him then she passed out into his arms as the pair ran in. Bane cursed and moved to help lay Serena on her side. “What the heck is that thing? What was it doing to her?”

Dante made her look at him and said “Vos? What happened? What happened in here? Are you alright?”

Vos looked at Dante her eyes lost and shook her head sharply clearing her head "something broke in....looking some my necklace....think they took it" she mutters gently. She almost never wore a necklace, she had one but never had anyone seen it before.



Toroak didn't talk as he had to get it off without cutting major arteries or veins. Once it was safely taken out he gave it to Maya whp burned away the creature in her hand and went to work on Sarena and the toxins as Toroak finally spoke "Its often known as a Novi Beetal Demon it often is the worker demon and often makes hosts or others work till they die, the poison can be rather tricky but may is skilled in it"

Dante frowned and said “is it important? To you is it important? I will go find it” he kept his hand on her cheek.

Bane cursed and said “it over worked VTs system. That’s what killed him. Then jumped to the one of us whose magic defenses was low. Is she going to be okay?” He looked back and said “Sam! Where are you!”

Samuel came back covered in wounds "The fuck do you think I was doing?" he snapped as he dropped a dead Head of tue Company BodyGuard that was still lurking at the base to spy on them. Toroak stared at them with horror "You just fucking killed one of those are you even slightly aware of how much trouble we gonna get into?" he demanded as Maya groaned "shut up" she growled trying to focus.

Vos tried to clear up her head "it belonged to my dad its the only thing I got left of him really....It means the only parent that stayed and defended me till the end" she mutters gently and got up "Owch owch owch" she huffed gently

Bane pointed to Serena. “She was infected. Are you linked to her that it’s messing with you at all? That bug thing was buried in her neck by her spine. And why did you go on a killing spree?”

Dante moved and picked her up in one move. He carried her to the bed and laid her down. “I will find it, my darling…I swear I will”
