Dama launched the concentrated negative energy sphere towards Castiel-Arianna at an intense rate of acceleration; the orb continued to pick up kinetic and potential energy from its surroundings, bending the light around it inward as it headed in Castiel-Arianna's direction. Dama felt a heavy bloodlust that was only augmented by Blake's own twisted desire for vengeance and retribution. 'Dama...I want nothing more than for both of us to satisfy our goals, but what happens once the two of them are dead?' Blake asked cautiously from within his own head. 'I'll leave you to your devices, Blake. You'll be free to do as you please; but don't think it'll be easy. Trumping Castiel in battle will be the culmination of my near eternal efforts; there is no guarantee of success.' 'Dama, in spirit, goals, and mindset, we are interconnected. I will stand as strongly by your side as you have; I long to exercise and develop this form once Arianna is out of the way.'
Castiel immediately gathered the floating rocks in front of him as a protective shield. He knew the wall wasn't dense enough to protect him, so he dove to the side and sent a few remaining, sharp rocks he had chosen toward's Dama-Blake's body as a diversion. He ran after the rocks towards Dama, sword ready by his side to swing. Once the rocks neared Dama and seemingly had his attention, Castiel jumped into the air and swung downwards towards Dama's head. He had waited a long time for this fight, though deep inside he wished that Dama had been killed off soon after the void had opened. Surely in a years time, Dama had faced many other kamikage, perhaps even a few onikages. It was unfortunate that the bane of his existence had survived.
Dama swung Kataskai upward with an ominous grace towards the rocks, and the dichotomous sword roared a black song of fire at the deadly stones, the flames dancing upon them and melting them into a black magma. Kataskai continued to flutter upward in the careful grip of its master, clashing with Castiel's almost simple rapier coated with a dense layer of the latter's own spirit. Dama exuded an almost sinister aura that seemed to grow upon the clash of the two blades as the force contained within Castiel's strike sank into Dama's own reserves. Redirecting the energy Castiel had put into the blow into Kataskai, Dama pushed Castiel's rapier as he continued his blade's ascent, attempting to break past the now fragile barrier between the two.
Castiel noticed the change in force and used the push to his advantage. He used the force on his blade to flip backwards and land back on his feet. Before Dama could react, Castiel took the fragments of stone from the makeshift wall that had been obliterated and had them swarm around Dama, forcing them into every hole and crevice they could find. He knew that he would need to weaken the host in order to stop Dama. Without the host's help, Dama couldn't defeat him. In turn, he knew that he needed to protect Arianna's body.
Dama groaned as the rocks initially began to enter his host body, but he quickly reverted the energy behind the momentum of the rocks to a potential state within himself, spitting the rocks out. "Disgusting, Castiel. Absolutely disgusting. This taste, however, will fade long before the eternal satiation of your soul." Dama taunted Castiel menacingly before manipulating the molten black magma towards Castiel as it swirled around him in a dripping, scorching vortex. He continued to feed into the vortex with the stored potential energy from Castiel's earlier telekinetic maneuver, adding to the heat, size, and thickness of it. "I don't know why you decided to take the route of a Kamikage, Castiel; we were great once. Now look at you; you and your host hold reserves of spirit that pale in comparison to my host's and my own. This is just a waiting game for me, Castiel!" Dama ended his threat with a bellow.
Castiel stared at Dama. The look in his eyes would have turned any cowardly kage away. There was a deepness to them that could have been compared to the vastness of the night sky. Yes, they were old and almost weary, but the fire of a thousand kages that had died during the great feud was still strong and alive. He wanted vengance for all of the kages that had fallen. Especially the kages that had died at the hands of whom had once been his best friend. Castiel summoned a small reserve of spirit from within him, piecing it together like a puzzle around Arianna's body in order to keep the heat from burning her skin. He gathered stones about a foot in size as well, encasing the forcefield as another barrier to ensure that the forcefield would not be harmed for a while.
"Your insolence and bloodlust continues to make you a fool, Dama. The path you have chosen will end in desolation and a bitter death. You should be glad that I am choosing to end it before you see the demon you have become!" Castiel boomed from within the forcefield of both rock and spirit, his voice gruff and determined. Do we have enough spirit to hold him off for much longer? Arianna's nervous voice chimed. Compared to the spirit we had before the battle, this is a little nerve-wrecking. Castiel sighed softly within the two soul's mind. I will do everything to keep the both of us safe. In this state, I can more efficiently manipulate the spirit we have. Just stay strong. We will defeat him... but if things are looking bad, I want you to call for help. Raeven is close enough that we can reach her. Arianna nodded within her mind.
Dama chuckled at the accusations his ally-turned-enemy had made. "Castiel...I only have the utmost respect for who you once were; any insolence you think you detect is an attempt to bring that Castiel back; show me the kage I revere, not this pathetic, crumpled heap of spirit lodged inside a child's body. Goodbye, my dearest friend." His face turned solemn, then for a second nostalgic, as if he was reliving memories of millenia past, before settling on a grim expression. The black magma condensed and began to close in on the barrier, eating at it but also thinning the magma. "I won't be able to eat away this barrier completely with this magma; it is a true demonstration of your ability. I will cherish your spirit forever, Castiel." Dama gathered a large mass of energy once more, condensing and combining the plethora of different types and pools of energy in the area into an orb once more, one about twice the size of the original, before firing it into the now weakened fortress that housed Castiel.
