The son of Apollo, Asclepius was the god of medicine in both Greek and Roman mythology. Some myths say that his mother, Coronis, was a nymph. Others say that she was a mortal woman. Regardless, when Apollo learned of her pregnancy, he sent a white raven to be her guardian. Returning with bad news, the raven told Apollo that Coronis had been unfaithful during her pregnancy. Upon hearing the news, Apollo's twin - Artemis - was filled with rage. Shooting the woman with an arrow, Artemis's rage was so strong that it is said to have turned the raven black.
As Coronis laid on the funeral pyre, Apollo took Asclepius and gave him to the wise centaur Chiron. Ledgend says that Chiron raised the young man and taught him medicine, as well as the healing arts. It is said that Asclepius was so good at healing that he could cheat death and bring people back from the Underworld. In another myth, it is said that Ascelpius learned how to prevent death with the various cures he had came up with by using plants.
Zeus thought of the boy as to strong. Asclepius caused the line between the mortals and gods to blur. As a result, Zeus struck him down with one of his lightning bolts. Out of general respect for the healer, Zeus placed him in the heavens.
When plague ravaged through Rome in 292 BC, Rome simply imported the god into their culture and began to worship him.

Unlike most of the gods, Asclepius had a fairly smooth transition into being a mortal. Humans are easily breakable, causing a high demand for doctors. Through-out his history as a mortal, Asclepius has spent a ton of years as a doctor. Healing and helping people is his greatest ambition in life, and he never plans to change that.
Since moving to Seattle, Asclepius (Now better known as Jace) has taken up the job of being a college professor. Turns out nurturing the human mind is just as rewarding as healing the human body. Plus it leaves him extra time to flirt with that hottie Norse chick who lives on the apartment floor above him.

It is said Rome wasn't built in a day. While there are many ledgends, it's hard to pin point where exactly and how Rome was founded. It's even more difficult to find who founded Rome. In truth, Rome might have never been were it not for the mischief of the Goddess Discordia.
Once known among the Greeks as Eris, Discordia craved to unleash her full potential. Clever and craft, she found her opportunity through the vanity of others.
Conjuring a golden apple, Eris sent it forth. On the apple were the words `for the fairest.` The phrase on the apple pitted Athena, Hera, and Aphrodite against one another. This phrase would cause Paris to kidnap Menelaus' wife, Helen, and thus start the Trojan war.
As the chaos swirled, and cities crumbled, no one seemed to wonder where the golden apple came from. Eventually, the Trojan War reached its peak, and Eris attached herself to the mortal Aeneas. She guided him safely from Troy, to the place where a new nation would be built. It is said that here Aeneas founded the lineage of Rome.
Free of the judgement she wore under the Greeks, Eris was remade as Discordia: A Roman Goddess of importance and prominence. In Rome, the goddess thrived. Riding into battle along side Mars and others, Discordia was able to watch as she caused mass confusion among those who threatened Rome.
After all, causing problems for mortals and gods alike has always been her favorite thing.

To say that Discordia was angry upon becoming a mortal would be the understatement of all time. She spent hundreds of years trying to find ways to seek and destroy the colossus. In Rome she was honored and could cause as much chaos as possible. As a mortal, she was just another face on the street. Not being worshiped anymore made quite the dent in the goddesses ego.
Fast forward a little, and Discordia finally got over the initial shock. While she couldn't mess with as many mortals as she used to, the goddess could still cause bloody bar fights. With this new revelation, Discordia had a new outlook on life as a mortal.

On the outside looking in, Lilith is one of the most happy, socially awkward people that you could ever meet. Always saying something goofy, and having a way with words, she's the kind of girl to have a handful of friends - though she prefers spending her time alone. Having social anxiety is perhaps the reason for her social awkwardness, which causes her to say and do really random things in public. Lilith is the type of girl that may come off as a bitch from time to time. Rather this is because of her sarcastic remarks or the way she rolled her eyes - well, that's up to you.
The fun, somewhat shy, bubbly side is the mask that Lilith wears on a day to day basis. However, that's the coverup that she puts on. The truth is, Lilith suffers from depression. The girl tends to keep her emotions bottled inside and simply does her best to release them through writing, studying, and marijuana usage. Hot headed as they come, it's a fortunate thing that Lilith knows when to bite her tongue. If she blows up on you, you've had that shit coming for a long while.
Lilith is a very loyal person, and will do practically anything for her friends. She doesn't trust or get attached to to many people, so when and if you hurt her, expect her to cut you out of her life completely. A promise means everything, and she will never break one. Biography
Born in a small southern town in Western North Carolina, Lilith was the product of a one night stand. The pregnancy came as a shock to her mother Claire, who immediately called up her parents in Ohio to tell them the news. Ecstatic, John and Christine jumped at the choice to have their only daughter move back home with promises of helping with the baby. Claire was determined to make it on her own, politely declining her parents help, though the did frequently visit and exchange gifts.
Growing up with a single mother who worked long hours, Lilith was often left to be cared for by baby sitters. Claire was always sure to make sure that her daughter had whatever she needed.
It wouldn't be until Christine fell ill with lung cancer that Claire and Lilith would move to Ohio. (Lilith would be eight at the time). Wanting to be with her mother during her final days, Claire spent most of her time either at work or helping the older woman. That left Grandpa John to look after Lilith most days.
Moving multiple states away and switching schools at such a young age didn't affect Lilith much. The kids in the city were a lot more mean than the kids back home, but such was life.
Being an only child, everyone did their best to make sure that Lilith had the best and was happy. Christine showed the girl how to cook and clean. John taught her how to change the oil in a car, how to fix a sink, and other things that would help her on her path to independence. Her mother Claire worked long hours at the ER, but was always sure to make time for Lilith where she could.
Once seventh grade came around, Claire forked out the tuition fees and money for the uniforms so that Lilith could try out a new school called Liberty. Unfortunately the kids here were brutal. They made fun of everything. How her hair would sometimes be messy, or her lingering southern accent. How she walked, and the things that she liked. Lilith felt like a total outsider for both her seventh and eight grade years.
When it came time for high school, Lilith had a long talk with her mother and decided that it was best for her to return to a more familiar setting at Rosefell high. Sadly, two years of being bullied relentlessly and feeling like an outsider had already taken their toll.
Maybe it was the bullying. Maybe it wasn't. Perhaps it was the death of her grandmother Freshman year that was really the final nail in the coffin. Whatever it was that set off her depression, Lilith could never figure it out. All she knew was that she was full of self hatred. Where she used to see the world in colors she know often saw things in shads of grey. Once known to have a decent amount of friends, the young woman now spent most of her time alone.
High school came with it's own set of problems. Senior class boys that used you and tossed you away; Girls that would make fun of you for the dumbest shit. The parties full of booze and sex. Lilith's grades fell off drastically during her second semester of her Freshman year, causing her mother to become concerned. Lilith shrugged off her mothers questions, locking herself in her bedroom most of the time she was home.
The self harming started that summer. If you asked Lilith what led her to pick up the razor, she would tell you: "I feel to much." For Lilith, cutting was a way to control her emotions. She would much rather be in physical pain than emotional pain. With the self harm came the suicidal thoughts at three in the morning. While she never acted upon them, sometimes she wished that she had.
Now it's Senior year and her mother finally convinced her to try therapy.
Lilith doesn't know what she's going to do after high school. Her only dream in life is to become a surgeon, and she has no idea where to start. Truth to be told, she didn't think she'd make it this far.

Biography
Born in Columbus Ohio, Christian was the product of a modern day some-what arranged marriage. His mother was to inherit a multibillion dollar science research company, and his father was to be the heir to a renowned wine company. They knew each other since they were kids, and their parents only thought it was logical to make sure that they married someone 'acceptable.'

Jaspers past is something that she always tries her hardest not to talk about.
Jasper and her twin brother Tiberius were born into an already failing marriage. Two young people married before they ever really had the chance to know one another, it didn't take long for Marie and Nicholas to realize that their marriage was failing. By the time that her leg was healed, Marie had began to drink heavily and became addicted to the pain pills that the doctor had prescribed her. Being stuck at home with her children made her begin to hate them. One last failed attempt to find a caregiver for his children, Nicholas finally found a nanny named Rosalinda, who took great care of the kids. While she wasn't a replacement for Jaspers parents, she did help the kids in many ways.
Rosalinda is who Jasper has to thank for her ability to play the violin and guitar. She also owes the woman for sheltering her and her brother from their parents arguments.
Obsessed with her own body image, when Jasper hit the age of thirteen, her mother began to hound her over her weight. Beginning to grow into her body shape more now with puberty, Jasper did need new clothes every now and then - but she was by no means overweight. Sadly, Marie didn't look at it the same way.
From the age of thirteen until she was sixteen, Jasper was constantly told that she was fat, overweight, and even ugly. She knew that she would never be a model like her mother, and that didn't bother her. What did bother her, however, was the fact that her mother would do things to make Jasper feel fat. The young woman recalls on multiple occasions where her mother would buy clothes that were to small for her and expect her to be able to fit them. When she couldn't, Jasper was more or less forced to exercise at home, and eat small portions of so called healthy foods. Ty did his best to make his sister feel more valid in her own skin, but he could only do so much. While their mother was mentally and verbally abusive, their father was physically. Ty took the brunt of most of his rages for her.
By the age of fourteen, Jasper had began to develop an eating disorder. She would go days without eating only to gorge herself and ultimately feel guilty and make herself sick. When Marie found out, she was more than sure to let her daughter know that she thought she was a freak.
"If you didn't eat all the time, and actually followed the exercise, it wouldn't be so hard for you to be thin," she would say.
Her mother - to everyone surprise - actually put her daughter into therapy. While it took three years and her mothers eventual death to over come her eating disorder, Jasper was more than grateful for her brother and Rosalinda being there for her in every way that they could be.
Finding a love for cooking after her mothers death, Jasper fount that having curves and indulging yourself wasn't a bad thing at all. Jasper is now proud to say that she is comfortable in her own skin.
As payback for Ty standing up to him, their father has decided to split the twins up for Christmas this year. Thus, Jasper is now as Second Horizons

She and her brother share an Instagram where they post their work. Neal is a food stylist, and Erin takes pictures of his work as a way to receive more practice. (More info on this to come). Billie is known as the hot-headed queen of pouts. Her facials structure and lips always tend to make her look as if she is always pouting and innocent - but make no mistake that she'll eat you alive. Unfortunately, it's quite easy to piss Billie off. She's extremely aggressive, and will start a fight for the simple fact that she's bored. Another thing that you'll notice about Billie when you meet her is her confidence. She walks with it, talks with it, and radiates it. Sometimes that confidence strays into arrogance. If she cares to speak to you, you will clearly be able to see her wittiness, and her overall blunt nature.
"There's honestly not that much I can tell you about my life. I grew up between New York and Florida. Florida's where my parents are from, so they had a lot of friends and family down there that we visited pretty often. The Diedrikson, MacMillian and Drake families, mostly. We were all just like a big ass family. Christmas was always hell... but fun.
Uh... let's see. I have a twin - Nicholas. Light of my life. Don't tell him I said that - It'll go straight to his fucking ego. There's my older sister Fiona. She was always the good kid of the family, but she's done some shit that mom and dad doesn't know about too. We all have. Speaking of mom and dad, I guess you could say I have pretty famous parents. I just hope I actually get to have fun for my Senior year."

What most people don't know about Billie is just how loyal and protective she is towards her loved ones and chosen friends. Billie is a passionate sort of person, always feeling things a bit too deeply. Sometimes this can lead her to seem a bit dramatic, but she's simply just working through her emotions in her own way. A very competitive girl, Billie often enjoys her fights more if the person she's fighting is larger than her. She has no problem fighting the bros, or the hoes.
Despite her faults, make no mistake that Billie does have some good qualities. She flirtatious, and caring. A good listener, and even better giver of advice. Billie wants to become a Hollywood star. If that fails, then she'll just got to college like a normal person for a degree she hasn't settled on yet.
One of Billie's passions is her graffiti art. Billie will spray paint just about anything can get her hands on. Feel free to check out her Pinterest Board for examples of her work.
Her favorite show is Grey's Anatomy. It's a Thursday night tradition for Billie and Nick to watch the new episodes together.

Personality Traits
Raven - like her father - is proud and take pride in what she does. She's been told more than once that her pride and honor will be her downfall. One thing that most people notice is her temper - much like her mothers. It takes a lot to get her angry, but once she's reached that point she is an absolute nightmare. A witty girl, sharp remarks and sneaky glares are more than common with Raven. Despite her similarities with her parents, Raven is the reserved kind, always have said to keep her feelings under lock and key. So reserved, it is said by some, that the girl is not able to feel emotion at all.
However, that could not be further from the truth. Raven feels things very intensely - sometimes a bit to much. This causes her to have very high moods and very low moods. Diagnosed with anxiety and manic depression, Raven is very self critical and cares a lot more than she should about what others think of her. She seeks validation in others, and becomes attached to people way to easily. Her depression causes her to unintentionally distance herself from everyone and everything, making it difficult to keep any relationship.
Raven is a girl with a witty comeback for just about anything. She doesn't speak unless spoken to on most occasions, but when she does speak Raven is a very charming and charismatic person. She is also very head strong and independent. Once she gets an idea she tends to run with it, and it's very hard to drop it - even when things go south. The young may come off as sweet and kind to people who get to know her - which isn't wrong. Raven has a big heart, and knows how to have fun just like anyone else. Don't be fooled; just because she is sweet and polite doesn't mean that she can't be bitter and cruel.
Biography
Raven grew up on the Upper East Side of New York in a lavish town home. Her father is the United States Congressman Charles James Willow. Raven's mother is Alexandra Divina Willow (formerly Castairs) - a socialite and renowned plastic surgeon to the stars. Both of Ravens parents grew up in the socialite world, and raised their daughter just the same. Most people would tell you that arranged marriages were a thing of the past - but not in communities such as the one where Raven grew up. Her parents marriage was out of ambition and the need to protect family fortunes - not out of love. Their daughter was unwanted, and the pregnancy was carried out only to keep up with appearances.
From an early age, Raven knew that her family had high expectations. Her grandfather wanted her to be witty, and to be well educated. Her grandmother wanted her to be poised and graceful. Her mother wanted her to be pretty and well mannered. Her father wanted her to follow in his valedictorian footsteps, attend Church every Sunday, and to conform to the traditional female roles.
Raven was raised mostly by the families staff. She went through a series of nannies before finding one that would actually stick with her. The family fired the nanny when Raven was thirteen - leaving her mostly to her own devices and unattended. Truth to be told, she was closer with the house maid than she ever was her own mother. Dad was an abusive alcoholic, and mom was a fat shaming bitch. Raven prayed each day when she returned home that her parents wouldn't be there.
Growing up, Raven found a lot of distractions in life. Home was hell, school was just as worse. So she turned to horseback riding, music, and writing. Eventually her mothers berating lead Raven to develop an eating disorder at thirteen, and her fathers abuse drover her to a suicide attempt at fourteen. Her parents didn't care enough to realize that they're daughter was on the verge of being anorexic until the doctors told them. Thankfully, her parents fear of having their daughters mental health ruin their appearance to the public lead them to seeking therapy for Raven. She was diagnosed with anxiety and manic depression at fifteen, and her mother died in a car crash the summer before she turned sixteen. That summer was also when Raven began to self medicate with alcohol that she got from her families liquor cabinet and willing Seniors.
Upon her mothers death, Raven went to live with her mothers parents in Columbus Ohio. They enrolled Raven at Liberty High for her junior year as she was accustomed to going to private school. Raven fit in fairly well at Liberty High, and even made a friend or two. She was able to bring her horses and her dog to Ohio with her, and getting out of her parents house has improved her mental health ever so slightly. Unfortunately, her past still haunts her every day, and her father hasn't contacted her since she moved to Ohio. He refuses to answer her calls, emails, or texts, and the one time she tried to show up at the office he had her removed by security.
Perhaps Senior year at Rosefell High could offer her a much needed silver lining.

Welcome everyone! In this RP we will be playing the parts of Royals who have been invited to the Kingdom of Aciras for a summer long celebration. These Royals are expected to be on their best behaviors - but will they be?
Some of them are betrothed to each other. Others are at war. Will this summer be the celebration that the Aciran Royals want it to be, or will the paparazzi make sure it all goes down in flames?
So! First and foremost, this RP has no deadlines, outside of the deadlines for character, kingdom, and relationship sheets. All I ask is that you post in a timely manner that is convenient for you - but be courteous. Please do not leave someone's character waiting on a response from yours for a month. If you decide to drop the RP, please let me know.
This is a character driven RP. You can't just shove your character in a corner and expect things to happen. Please interact with the other characters and writers.

The writing expectations for this RP is that of casual. I will expect two well written paragraphs for each post minimum. More is great, though quality over quantity is best!

Billie is known as the hot-headed queen of pouts. Her facials structure and lips always tend to make her look as if she is always pouting and innocent - but make no mistake that she'll eat you alive. Unfortunately, it's quite easy to piss Billie off. She's extremely aggressive, and will start a fight for the simple fact that she's bored. Another thing that you'll notice about Billie when you meet her is her confidence. She walks with it, talks with it, and radiates it. Sometimes that confidence strays into arrogance. If she cares to speak to you, you will clearly be able to see her wittiness, and her overall blunt nature.
What most people don't know about Billie is just how loyal and protective she is towards her loved ones and chosen friends. Billie is a passionate sort of person, always feeling things a bit too deeply. Sometimes this can lead her to seem a bit dramatic, but she's simply just working through her emotions in her own way. A very competitive girl, Billie often enjoys her fights more if the person she's fighting is larger than her. She has no problem fighting the bros, or the hoes.

Kavi Salvador and Ariel Grey met many moons ago, at their highschool Kings Academy in Palm Beach, Florida. The two of them had a short, toxic, on and off relationship. Calling it quits a few months before prom, Kavi and Ariel finished high school off on a good note, and said their farewells as friends.
A few years later, the two of them would meet again in New York, where they were both attending college. Ariel was currently going through therapy, and getting the help that she desperately needed; Kavi was doing soul searching and working on becoming a better version of himself as well. Ariel was seeing someone at the time, but had agreed to meet Kavi out a few times for coffee. It was easy to tell that old feelings were there, but the two of them both agreed to push it aside for personal reasons. (Truth to be told, they both still had a lot of growing up to do, and were already beginning to be toxic to each other once more).
Fast forward a few years later - Kavi and Ariel both get their dream breakthrough jobs working on a Broadway play; Kavi as an actor, and Ariel behind the scenes. By this time, Ariel had already gone through another failed relationship, and had had a son - Nicholas. Kavi had a child of his own now as well - Billie Jean.
Both Ariel and Kavi helped each other to advance in their careers and slowly over time had found themselves falling back in love. Realizing how much he still loved Ariel, Kavi stepped up to the plate like Ariel always knew he could, and proposed shortly after their play had finished up.
From the moment Billie Jean and Nicholas met, the two of them conspired to give the world around them pure hell. Their terrible twosโ were dreadful. School was filled with suspension, detention, and the like. The little boys in the neighborhood hated Billie because she wanted to fight them all; At the same time, all of the little girls in the neighborhood hated Nicholas for making them all think he was dating them.
Growing up, their home life was fantastic. Christmas and Thanksgiving was mostly spent in Florida with the Diedrikson, MacMillian and Drake families. As the kids got older, their parents became more and more busy, leaving Fiona to really be the glue of the family. While she had help from whatever nanny was hired for the time being, Fiona was the one who always made sure that the twins were taken care of while mom and dad were away.
From an early age, the twins could tell they were different from other kids. They conversed about it on regular occasions, but always chalked it up to just being the rebels. Billie agreed with her brother on that fact until their fourteenth birthday. If you ever asked Billie, she wouldnโt be able to tell you what changed inside of her that day - all she knew was that something about her was different.
She began to notice strange figures out of the corner of her eye, and had weird dreams at night. Whenever she spoke, people seemed to listen now more than they usually did. Something was up - and Billie knew it.
After trying to talk to Nicholas about how she felt, Billie was at a loss. If her twin didnโt believe her, who would? She hadnโt tried speaking to Fiona, but something in Billieโs gut kept telling her that that wasnโt a smart idea.
Billie arrived promptly to her first party of Freshman year with her brother. The night was going wonderfully, until a strange looking creature attacked. Slithering into the party, the creature flipped over tables, hissed and swung itโs weapon. Billie knew what she was seeing, but judging from the screams around her - her classmates were not.
A young man Billie recognized that she despised from Math class sprang into action, along with another young man who happened to know Nicholas. Once everything was said and done, and nearly everyone had left the party, the two young gentlemen pulled Billie and Nicholas to the side, and began to give them information.
The thing that had attacked them was called a Scythian Dracanae. The two gentlemen standing before Billie - Liam and Philip - were apparently genetically half goat??? The twins were told that they had to get to a place called Camp Half-Blood as soon as possible for their safety. At this point, Billieโs head felt like it was melting, and she demanded to be taken home - despite Liam and Philips demands that she chose otherwise.
While Nicholas managed to order an Uber, Billie made an agreement with the Satyrsโ; The twins would do their best to live normal lives and perhaps attend the camp in the summer. The Satyrs would stay to protect them just in case, and if Billieโs plan failed, she and her brother would attend Camp Half-blood.
Things failed.
During their time in the mortal world, Billie and Nicholas continued to try to keep what they had learned from their parents. Neither of them believing it at first, the two of them spent months piecing it all together before finally deciding that it made sense. Monsters continued to try and attack the twins and their fellow students. Billieโs dreams became more unexplainable and turned to nightmares.
By the time the new year had rolled around, Billie and Nicholas had come up with a plan with the help of the Satyr friends.
Convincing their parents to send them to a boarding school in New York now that Fiona was going to college, Billie and Nicholas made their way to CHB, where they have been living ever since.

On the outside looking in, Lilith is one of the most happy, socially awkward people that you could ever meet. Always saying something goofy, and having a way with words, she's the kind of girl to have a handful of friends - though she prefers spending her time alone. Having social anxiety is perhaps the reason for her social awkwardness, which causes her to say and do really random things in public. Lilith is the type of girl that may come off as a bish from time to time. Rather this is because of her sarcastic remarks or the way she rolled her eyes - well, that's up to you.
The fun, somewhat shy, bubbly side is the mask that Lilith wears on a day to day basis. However, that's the cover-up that she puts on. The truth is, Lilith suffers from depression. The girl tends to keep her emotions bottled inside and simply does her best to release them through writing, studying, and marijuana usage. Hot headed as they come, it's a fortunate thing that Lilith knows when to bite her tongue. If she blows up on you, you've had that shit coming for a long while.
Lilith is a very loyal person, and will do practically anything for her friends. She doesn't trust or get attached to too many people, so when and if you hurt her, expect her to cut you out of her life completely. A promise means everything, and she will never break one. Lilith is honest to her core, and her respect is earned. She has no time for cruel or false intentions, and expects people to treat her with that same respect.
She is typically found reading or listening to music. She enjoys YA novels like The Maze Runner, Harry Potter, and the like; There's also a good mix of adult novelists like Stephen King. With a close emotional connection to the night sky, Lilith enjoys spending hours outside at night staring at the stars. An even stronger connection to the ocean, she has no hesitation with driving down to Virginia beach for the weekend. Stubborn as can be, she sometimes has trouble accepting things as how they are. Her witty remarks often get her called sharp tongued; her dark humor winds up in her getting called crazy here and there.
The young woman hates drama, gossip, and any other thing of the sort - though she has no problem listening to it. She just doesn't want to be an actual part of it. Of course, if you ask her how she is doing, you will receive a great and a goofy thumbs up. Not being able to express herself truthfully angers her to no end, though, just like her true feelings, she doesn't let it show. In short, the girl is a half read book. To know her, you must first know the whole story.

TRIGGER WARNING: Suicidal ideation, self harm, and very brief mentions of drug use. Born in the Underworld, Lilith was left by Hecate at a hospital in a small Western North Carolina town. A nurse - Claire - found Lilith and took her under her wing for the night until child services could get involved. Something about the child had caught Claireโs eye. The young woman adopted Lilith when Lil was roughly six months old. Claire immediately called up her parents in Ohio to tell them the news. Ecstatic, John and Christine jumped at the choice to have their only daughter move back home with promises of helping with the baby. Claire was determined to make it on her own, politely declining her parents' help, though they did frequently visit and exchange gifts.
Growing up with a single mother who worked long hours, Lilith was often left to be cared for by babysitters. Claire was always sure to make sure that her daughter had whatever she needed.
Lilithโs grandparents moved to North Carolina for Claire to help take care of Christine. Wanting to be with her mother during her final days, Claire spent most of her time either at work or helping the older woman. That left Grandpa John to look after Lilith most days.
Being an only child, everyone did their best to make sure that Lilith had the best and was happy. Christine showed the girl how to cook and clean. John taught her how to change the oil in a car, how to fix a sink, and other things that would help her on her path to independence. Her mother Claire worked long hours at the ER, but was always sure to make time for Lilith where she could.
At school, Lilith found her love for books. It was clear that the little girl had an active imagination, as she loved to tell stories to her class. Her grades were good, she was happy. All of her life, Lilith had seen strange things. However, around the age of eight, these things became more prominent.
She started to see monsters on the playground, and ghosts at the mall. When she first started seeing ghosts, she didn't realize that these people were invisible to everyone else, not that they were dead. Little Lilith would talk to these ghosts in public, causing her to get questionable looks from her family, teachers, and strangers. At the age of nine, one of the teachers suggested that she speak to the school counselor, as it was a little out of the normal to still have imaginary friends at this age. Lilith didn't completely understand why she was being made to talk to someone, but she went along with a few sessions. She gathered quickly what was going on, however, and stopped talking about what she saw in public a little after six months of seeing the counselor. Hearing the teachers talk to her parents about seeing things that 'weren't there' started to make her think something was wrong with her.
At the age of eleven, Lilith began to be bullied by the other kids. They had no basis for doing so - just the normal elementary school stuff. The children wanted someone to make fun of, and she just so happened to be the victim. This caused her to be an outsider, and pull away from most of the other children. She continued to see the ghosts and mythological things as well. Centaurs running across the fields; Cyclopes walking the streets.
At the age of thirteen, she made a new friend - Kevin. Over a years time, she and Kevin grew close, sharing secrets and laughing together in the back of the class. Lilith even told the boy about the things that she saw. For the first time in a long time, Kevin was the only person that didn't think she was crazy. However, the other children were mean to Kevin as well. He was a quiet guy, and therefore he was different; the kids didn't like different. When Lilith turned thirteen, Kevin started acting strange. It was like he was on high alert, always looking out for something or someone. He hardly spoke anymore. He and Lilith grew distant. Two months after her thirteenth birthday, a hellhound tried to attack Lilith. Kevin defended her, but tried to act as if nothing happened after they had gotten to safety. Lilith wasn't about to stand for it. She kept pressuring her friend until he gave her the information that she wanted. At first, Lilith thought he was insane, but as she took the time to piece together the strange parts of her life with the new information, the more it made sense. Kevin proceeded to explain this to her parents as well. The decision to send her to Camp Half-blood was unanimous.
She packed her bags and was sent to CHB that summer where she was given a place to stay. It was nice to have a place to go to with people who were like her, but it took some time to get used to. Her first two years at CHB, she just attended for the summer. While Lilith had been warned about the danger of being in the outside world, she still wanted to try and get the normal high school experience. High School turned out to be a nightmare for her. The kids got meaner, the monsters still tried to attack, putting everyone that she was around in danger. She began to blame herself for small things at first; nothing she did anymore was right. She wasn't happy with her appearance or personality, and kept trying to change herself. It seemed like no matter where she went, she never fit in, not even at Camp. She has been a year round camper for the last five years.
If you asked Lilith, she wouldn't be able to tell you what went wrong to make her feel the way she does.
Maybe it was the bullying. Maybe it wasn't. Perhaps it was the death of her grandmother Freshman year that was really the final nail in the coffin. Whatever it was that set off her depression, Lilith could never figure it out. All she knew was that she was full of self hatred. Where she used to see the world in colors she now often saw things in shades of grey. Once known to have a decent amount of friends, the young woman now spent most of her time alone.
High school came with its own set of problems. Senior class boys that used you and tossed you away; Girls that would make fun of you for the dumbest shit. The parties full of booze and other things. Lilith's grades fell off drastically during her second semester of her Freshman year, causing her mother to become concerned. Lilith shrugged off her mothers questions, locking herself in her bedroom most of the time she was home.
The self harming started that summer. If you asked Lilith what led her to pick up the razor, she would tell you: "I feel too much." For Lilith, cutting was a way to control her emotions. She would much rather be in physical pain than emotional pain. With the self harm came the suicidal thoughts at three in the morning. While she never acted upon them, sometimes she wished that she had.
She tried making friends at CHB, only to fail over and over. She was awkward, and always seemed to say the wrong thing. By the age of fifteen she had all but completely isolated herself from the world. The only friends she needed were her music, books and pens. She channeled her frustration and sadness into her training, staying in the practice arena for hours at a time. More often than not, Lilith came back to the Cabins with bruises and cuts everywhere. She aimed to try and be the best at something; swordsmanship and hand to hand combat seemed to be two things that it was good to be good at.
To this day, Lilith still isolates herself, though she is trying to be more outgoing. So far, it only seems to work 10% of the time.

ABILITY: GHOST WHISPERER โ Lilith can see, hear, and talk to ghosts. ABILITY: MIST MANIPULATION โ Thanks to her mother, Lilith has a power known as Mist Manipulation, meaning that she controls the veil between the mundane and mythical worlds. For example, the young woman can make herself seem closer or further from you. She can also manipulate articles of clothing, hair color, and the features of someones face. She can disguise objects, create new objects, or make them disappear completely from view. Lilith can basically make you see what she wants. ABILITY: FLAME KEEPER โ Lilith can bend the element of fire to her will. The flames that come from her hands are blue, though no one really knows the reason as to why. The only thing special about the fire that she wields is it's color. ABILITY: NECROMANCER โ Lilith can call three dead warriors to fight along her side during battle. They can be defeated by decapitation. ABILITY: DOG WHISPERER โ Since one of Hecate's sacred animals is the dog, Lilith can telepathically communicate with dogs. ABILITY: POTION BREWING โ Through reading various potion books, lessons and doing some experimenting Lilith is a master at brewing certain potions. She sells them for profits around camp.
โ Laughing potion: takes fifteen minutes to make. Puts the drinker into a fit of hysterical laughter for an hour. Green in color. Side affects include laughing.
โ Love potion: takes a week to make, and lasts for two weeks. Red in color. The drinker will fall in to a deep infatuation with the first person they see after drinking the potion. Side affects include two hundred missed calls, sweet texts that make you want to puke, theft of all your hoodies and an annoying human pet that won't leave your side for a full fourteen days.
โ Calming potion: Takes two days to make, lasts for eight hours. Clear in color. Drinker will experience a calming affect that will eventually result in a blissful, light sleep. This potion helps to calm the persons nerves after a trauma or before a test. It won't make you forget what is making you upset, but rather help you to handle it in a way that doesn't appear to be a mental break down. Perfect for people with anxiety.
โ Truth potion: Two weeks creation process, lasts until all three questions are answered, and appears a milky white in color. The drinker of this potion will have to answer three questions completely honest. Chose your questions wisely.
โ Puking potion: Three hours creation time; lasts fifteen minutes. Appears orange in color, and produces a foul odor that is usually compared to that of gym socks. Anyone who drinks this potion will experience uncontrolled vomiting for a full fifteen minutes immediately after drinking it.
โ Energy potion: Takes one day to make, lasts for three days. Blue in color. Affects include absolutely no sleep for a full seventy-two hours. After the affects wear off, this potion will cause the drinker to sleep for a full three days afterward.
โโโโ Though all of these potions have their certain colors, all of them are nearly tasteless. Some people may experience a slight after taste of strawberries from the love potion, lemons from the energy potion, etc. โโโโโโโโ These are the potions that Haley specializes in, and are guaranteed to work. If you need a different potion made, you are more than welcome to ask. However the price may be high, and it will take a while to make through a hectic process of trial and error. While these potions do take a second or two to make, Lilith does try to keep of few of each in stock at all times.
ABILITY: INTO THE SHADOWS โ Due to Hecates ability to manipulate shadows, Lilith can fade into the darkness and become a shadow herself. She can only do this for ten minutes, twice and day - unless it is at night, when this power is extended to twenty minutes.This is because Hecates powers are said to be stronger at night. If she uses the power at night, it does count as one of the two times that she can use it for the day. This power only works on herself.
ABILITY: WITCHY WAYS (not really a power, but I felt it should be included here.) โ Lilith has spent a great deal of her time at camp studying lent grimoires', learning from fellow siblings, practicing her spell work, etc. She considers herself an Earth Witch, but is in the very beginning stages. She's been able to pull off some big spells here and there, but that has mostly been with other witches. Most of her spells are aimed towards healing, and while she knows about hexes, she has never performed any. Lilith also has a large knowledge of plants and their uses. She can identify a wide variety of plants, thanks to the teachings of the Demeter kids.

Heโs kind, energetic, and always open to making new friends. Being the outgoing type, Christian is usually one of the first people to welcome newcomers to camp. A charming person, he is popular with a lot of people at CHB. The young man enjoys making people laugh, and is always trying to crack jokes. Loyalty and honesty are two things that Christian values the most in this world, and he searches for these qualities among his friend group.
He loves a good adventure, and thereโs no telling where youโll find him. While ambitious, Christian does not strive for power, but loves to complete any and all personal goals that he has. Heโs hardworking, reliable, and just really likes to be the light in people's lives.
While seeming approachable from the outside, default jock personality traits still apply to Christian. Heโs hot headed, a little cocky, and all around stubborn. Born in Columbus Ohio, Christian was the product of a modern day some-what arranged marriage. His mother was to inherit a multi-billion dollar science research company, and his father was to be the heir to a renowned wine company. They knew each other since they were kids, and their parents only thought it was logical to make sure that they married someone 'acceptable.'
Christian was born five years into their marriage - and the family was ecstatic that they had had a boy. An heir to the Empire! Unbeknownst to his father, Alexander, Christian was not his son - but instead the son of a stranger whose bed his wife had fallen into on a stray night. His mother, Luciana, never spoke a word of this to anyone but her mother (and eventually Christian when he was old enough). Nonetheless, Christian was raised (mostly by the family staff) to be a poised and charming young man so that he may one day take over the family's fortune.
His sister Marianne was born into the family three years later. Christian and his sister spent most of their life being taken care of by a nanny. His parents managed to make time for all major holidays (which they considered Thanksgiving and Christmas). While their mother did her best to be as present as she could, Christian would bet money that his father never even cared.
Christians childhood was just about as plain as a rich kid's life could be. He had whatever toys and tech he wanted. He got to go to fancy parties - like the ones where his mom handed out awards to the doctors. He began playing football in middle school, and earned himself a spot on the team as the running back.
However, there were some not also some not so plain things about Christians life growing up.
He acted out in class, and was thrown into detention regularly. He started fights, finished fights, and pulled off class pranks. Christian would often try and tell his sister that he was seeing strange shadows out of the corner of his eye - but she would never believe him. On more than a few occasions, he would have swore he heard his voice being called from the woods behind the family home. By the time he was thirteen, Christian felt like he was going crazy.
Christian came to know about the camp through a satyr at his high school. While looking for another demi-god, Vincent had stumbled upon Christian instead. While Vincent began to try and explain everything to his friend, Christian tried his damnedest to deny it all.
It was impossible.
Yes, his parents' marriage was loveless, but they had never cheated on each other, right? He didnโt have any โscentโ other than the Axe body spray he used religiously. Treeโs couldnโt talk, and they damn sure werenโt people like.
Christian avoided Vincent like the plague for months - right until the day of his fifteenth birthday. Walking home from school, Christian was attacked by a monster, and Vincent led him to safety. After a very long talk with his mother, Christian decided that he wanted to go to a โboarding schoolโ in New York.
His parents agreed, and Christian has remained at Camp Half-Blood ever since.

The feeling that someone may receive when under this attack are: high pitched ringing in the ears, confusion, blurred vision, and perhaps the inability to hold on to ones weapon. This affect lasts for ten seconds. โผ Vocal Mimicry: Christian is capable of changing his voice to sound like anyone he's listened to before; although there are plenty of normal human beings who are capable of the same thing, Christian never has to undergo any vocal training like mimic artists do to produce the vocals. ABILITY: Heliokinesis โผ Since his father is the god of the sun, Christian has the ability to create orbs of light in the palm of his hand. These orbs are about the size of a baseball, and can illuminate the space around him. These orbs can produce enough light to fill up a classroom, and he can create two at a time (one in each hand). The orbs last for thirty minutes, unless he decides to put them out sooner. These orbs can also be used defensively, and Christian can throw them to start fires and harm his enemies. He can 'turn up' or 'turn down' the brightness of these orbs to blind his enemies during battle. ABILITY: Pyrokinesis โผ Christian is not affected by fire - his skin does not burn. โผ He isn't really affected by hot temperatures, and doesn't begin to sweat until it's around 115 Fahrenheit outside. โผ Christian can shoot fire from the palms of his hands. Nothing is particularly special about the fire he holds. The flames can expand ten feet in length. ABILITY: Vitakinesis โผ Christian has the ability to heal people through touch. This power can only be used during the day, and works best in the sun light. This power works on things like broken bones, bruises and scrapes. It will not work on life threatening injuries such as amputation or a stab to the heart. โผ By touching a person, Christian can sense all medical problems a person has. If you have a cold coming on, he can tell. Diabetes? Cancer? Depression? He knows. ABILITY: Truth Sensing โผ Much like his father, Christian has the ability to know if he is being lied to or not. It's both a blessing and a curse. ABILITY: Rhyming Curse โผ A common ability among the children of Apollo, Christian can curse his enemies to speak only in rhymes. This curse tends to last for three days.

Being the shining light in the room can get on people's nerves from time to time, but Ria tries to spread positivity wherever she goes. What do you get when you cross a good southern woman and a man with strong political ambitions?
A surprisingly good love story.
Lillian Isabelle James had started her acting career in her early childhood, and quickly won the hearts of America. Deciding to take a break from the hustle and bustle that was Hollywood, Lilly (as she was called) decided to go to college in New York. It was here she would meet Alexander Thorpe - a dashing young man who was the heir to a multi billion dollar oil and gas company, known as Thorpe Industries. He would also go on to be a Senator for the State of California.
Shortly after graduating college, Lilly and Alex moved back to Georgia, and began to start a life for themselves there. Lillian found out she was pregnant shortly after her acting career started back up, and her husbands political career was taking off. The announcement didn't come at the best time, but was a welcomed one, nonetheless. Their first born child would be their son Lucas, and they would decide to adopt a new born girl, Ria, nearly a year and a half later.
Life for the Thorpe siblings was easy, aside from the scandals that people tried to throw at their parents' careers. While Alex spent most of his time in the home state of California focusing on his political career, Lilly and the kids moved back to Georgia where Lilly grew up. The southern belle wanted to try and give her children as much of a normal life as possible - but when your mother is an actress, your father a senator, and your grandparents owning one of the largest equestrian centers in the country - things get complicated.
The papers tried to paint Lilly and Alex's marriage as a sham. How could two people be in love and live on two different sides of the country? The answer could be found in the hundreds of love letters that they wrote to each other - they had found their soulmate. Thousands were spent on plane tickets as they visited each other between campaign rallies and between scene shooting schedules.
Both of Ria's parents wanted what was best for their children, sending them to private schools their whole lives. Whatever they wanted, their parents gave them. For Ria, most of those things were ponies, jewelry, and the prettiest dresses a girl could ever ask for. While their mother wanted them to have a simple life, she wasn't going to let them be underachievers, either. Lilly wanted to set her children up for success.
And so it began.
Ria was thrown into piano lessons at age four. Ballet lessons at age five, though she pitched an absolute fit until her mother finally gave up when Ria was six. Lilly tried to get her daughter into a wide range of hobbies, but the only thing that ever came to Ria naturally was horseback riding. From there, she learned to barrel race, and how to even jump horses. Growing up, Ria participated in high level competitions and quite a handful of local rodeo shows. While her mother demanded excellence in Ria's competitions, she also refused to let her daughter slack off in her studies. Anything lower than a B+ and you were punished. For Ria, that meant no technology and no competitions. Horse riding was - and is - everything to Ria, so she was sure to keep her grades up.
Through all of these lessons, and a ton of trial and error - Lilly began to notice things about her daughter. How she stared off and watched things in the distance, how she was drawn to plant life, and more importantly - how she would just never sit still. Any of Lillyโs concerns were always put to rest when people would tell her that Ria was acting just like any other child, yet something continued to tell her that things werenโt right. Nonetheless, Lilly did her best to give her children the best life that she could.
The picture perfect family that Lilly had built was ruined when Ria was 12, and her brother was 13. Their father had finally landed himself a spot in the Senate, and the TV show that their mother starred in had just been renewed for a third season. Things were amazing for the Thorpe clan until Lilly was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. Alexander decided that it was best for his family to move to California in order to keep up with his political campaign, and for the better doctors for Lilly. Another incentive was that the children could go to his alma mater, Marble Heights - a boarding school - to continue their education.
By the time that Ria was 13, and Lucas was 14, their mother passed away. Ria was a freshman at the time, and Lucas a sophomore. Their grades suffered, going from straight A's to mostly C's. Their mother was no longer around to keep them in line, and their father was to heart broken to care. Besides, C's were still plenty acceptable. The Thorpe siblings were enrolled at Marble Heights, and their father finally bought a house in DC, where he now spends most of his time.
The second that Ria turned thirteen, more and more odd things started to happen. Strange creatures attacked, plants acted even more weirdly around her. It wouldnโt be until the week before her fourteenth birthday that Ria would be told the truth about her life.
While in the common hall of the school, Ria was approached by a classmate - one that she had never spoken to, but recognized from Geometry, nonetheless. The young man spoke to Ria in a hushed tone, trying his hardest to get Ria to come with him. The longer the two of them stood in the school, the more and more anxious Ria could tell that the young man was getting. Reluctantly, Ria followed him outside of the school.
Once outside, Ria was attacked by a Cyclops and knocked to the ground. The unnamed classmate did his best to try and defend Ria, but was ultimately backhanded by the Cyclops and knocked unconscious. This sent a wave of rage and fear through Ria, causing roots from beneath the ground to break through and wrap the Cyclops whole. Once she had dealt with the threat, Ria ran to the unknown boy's side, doing her best to wake him up. Once he had woken up, he explained everything to Ria - who was in a state of shock.
Riaโs first reaction was denial. Mythology wasnโt real. Gods and monsters? No. Absolutely not. None of this made sense.
But then it did.
Riaโs father was too busy with work. A simple email to let him know she was โchanging schoolsโ was all of the update that Alexander needed to know about his daughter's life. Ria did her best to explain things to Lucas, but she ultimately had to end up telling him the same lie that she had told their father.
Upon arriving at CHB, Ria was claimed almost immediately at the campfire the night of her arrival. Ria has been proud to call the Demeter cabin her home ever since.

Each edition of the paper will be put in each of the cabins mailboxes each Friday morning at 8 AM. 30 Editions will be made for each cabin. ๐ The Paper Committee meets on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 4 PM until 6 PM. Assignments are due each Wednesday, and that is the meeting in which the paper will go through the final check. Assignments will also be given out each Wednesday. The committee will meet at the Library.

Upon touching a plant, Ria will know it's scientific name, common name, and what affects it will have on the human body. ๐ Ria also has the ability to control plants. Flowers, vines, fruit and veggie plants, etc. bend to her will. She can also control trees, but only if they are thirty feet or shorter. Ria can cause a plant to grow super fast, can use their branches as weapons, cause the fruit to fly off of a bush, etc. Ria can also take life just as fast as she can give it, and can cause plants to shrivel up and die upon contact. ๐ Ria has the ability to summon vines to grow from ground. These vines grow at a half a foot per second, and can grow up to ten feet tall. ABILITY: Geokinesis: The ability to control the Earth. ๐ Can identify different rocks and gems upon contact. ๐ Ria can levitate and throw rocks. The largest rock that she can control is two feet long and two feet wide. She can control up to three rocks at a time. ABILITY: ๐ While Ria cannot control the temperature like her mother, Ria is nearly unaffected by temperature. She is not affected by the cold unless it drops to zero or below, and she is not affected by hot temperatures unless it is 110 or above.

Ria is an excellent cook. She loves to give her friends goodies.
Most of the plants the Ria grows in her room are herbs and such for the Hecate kids. She dries them out and sells them for profit.
Her drink of choice is Rosรฉ or Tequila, depending on the situation.
She's a sucker for a good nude lip.
Speaks with a very strong southern accent. Like Dolly Parton strong. She also tends to call people sugar, sweetie, darlin', and everything in between. Other southern phrases like ya'll, ain't, and bless your heart are in her vocabulary.
