I'll try to scope it out before we leave, then. I'll bet we missed all kinds of things!
Before we leave?

I'll try to scope it out before we leave, then. I'll bet we missed all kinds of things!

Heh... Amachores.

<Snipped quote by Yatagarasu>
Huh?
<Snipped quote by Legend>
Not at all. Decisions are molded by experience, which then molds personality, which then molds character, which then molds decisions, which then molds personality… Everyone starts from somewhere, sure, but everything stems from yourself. And that’s not even getting into the semantics of whether the outside force of destiny exists internally… Short answer, no. Nothing internal is deterministic like that.

Before we leave?
<Snipped quote by Meta>
<Snipped quote by Yatagarasu>
Huh?
<Snipped quote by Yatagarasu>
<Snipped quote by Host>
I already got it all figured out.
<Snipped quote by Host>
<Snipped quote by Meta>
Alright, let's hear it.
<Snipped quote by Valiance>
I see. A bit ethereal for my taste, but I respect that answer.
<Snipped quote by Audacious>
Sure! We're not staying here, are we?
<Snipped quote by Yatagarasu>
Not gonna tell. You hafta work for it!
<Snipped quote by Legend>
If it weren't true, that would imply everyone was just a big cog in a machine with either no real purpose or something beyond us. But neither of those are as fun as belief in agency.
<Snipped quote by Nimda>
Uhhh, no, but are you implying you're doing some sort of speedy run through the whole city?
<Snipped quote by Meta>
That's fair.
<Snipped quote by Valiance>
And I fully accept that stance as a motivation. The practical implications are reasonably more important to you.
<Snipped quote by Audacious>
Yyyeah. Would that be a bad?
<Snipped quote by Legend>
And obviously you rest on some other opinion, given your direct experience with it.
<Snipped quote by Nimda>
No, I just wasn't sure that's what you meant.
<Snipped quote by Yatagarasu>
Is it bad that we're different?
<Snipped quote by Host>
No, it's a great thing. I just find it annoying when I don't understand something. Though I suppose it's possible that you'd have some sort of biological "problems," so to speak, but I haven't seen any evidence of that.
