*Thumbs toward a warehouse a few blocks down*
That's where we want to be. Let's infiltrate it.
Some rinky dink warehouse? I guess it's inconspicuous enough.

Can you write letters to anyone outside of home?

<Snipped quote by Host>
I haven't tried. I've relied on visitations from those I needed to contact.
<Snipped quote by GalaxyRaider>
It looks that way, but feel out how much tech they've got set up. Way too much for some random factory or whatever.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>
*Looks over that way and gauges how much tech resides there, as well as the volume of power flow*
<Snipped quote by GalaxyRaider>
*The building is packed from bottom to top with technology, including several layers of security systems and lines of machinery in the emptier, warehouse half*
<Snipped quote by Techspert>
*Tries to specifically feel for personal devices or technology vaguely on the body of a person, like phones and weapons, to see how many people there are and where they are*
<Snipped quote by Yatagarasu>
How do the Codex know the difference between something coming in, talking to you, and going out vs. you sending something out?
<Snipped quote by GalaxyRaider>
*The building has around thirty armed guards, and one person working in a large office*
<Snipped quote by Dynamics>
They don't have to. Their powers run off of what's called the "Not a Number Sector", or the NNS for short. If you think of Existence like... Like a book. If you think of it like a book, that's being written constantly, the Not a Number Sector is like the dictionary. There's the physical book and the words written on it are physical, but they only have meaning because of the NNS. It's why I died in the first place; the original Generate-class needs to be able to delete stuff to run the NNS correctly. So things were pushed in a direction by a certain few Codex to make one of the Triggers "become complete." That happened to end up being me, so I had to go in order to have the "compete" Trigger reinstated in the original Generate. That made it so the NNS wouldn't overload, and made it temporarily possible to go up to the next Scale.
At least that's where they should have went. Apparently it wasn't that simple, but that's unrelated.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>
There are a lot of people in there, Rhythm.
<Snipped quote by GalaxyRaider>
It's the mafia, of course there are a lot of people.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>
*Looks specifically for entirely technological entities, especially trying to find X, Melody or Tempo, then also does a scan of the whole block to see if more armed reinforcements are anywhere nearby*
<Snipped quote by Yatagarasu>
Okay, so how does whatever-you-call-it know the difference between something coming in, talking to you, and going out vs. you sending something out?
<Snipped quote by Dynamics>
Because that's where the concepts of things are. Imagine that in the book, the word "blue" was written. We know what blue is, and that blue now exists in the story and physically on the page, right? But now imagine that the definition of the word "blue" was changed to that of "red." Suddenly, everything that was blue is still blue, physically the same, but is defined differently, changing the meaning of what's written. That's how the powers of the Codex work, they change concepts. So in this case, what I believe happened is that the definition of "me" in the dictionary was amended to include the phrase: "Only exists within a certain dimension," to keep with the analogy.
<Snipped quote by GalaxyRaider>
*The cyber world is too expansive to adequately scan, and two guards appear to be patrolling the building—you also see mappings of security cameras and their fields of view*
So, what do you think?
<Snipped quote by Techspert>
It's tight security. Two on patrol outside, but I can loop their camera feed to see the same footage they've been seeing so we don't have to worry about them. I can also disable their communications to the outside if things get out of hand so no one goes calling for help if things go south. I should also be able to jam their weapons. No big deal for you I'm sure, but I don't want to get shot today.
<Snipped quote by GalaxyRaider>
*Blinks, then shakes my head*
Since when have you been able to stop bullets?
